On arrival the staff on reception were friendly, helpful , explained everything we needed to know .

We had an early flight, so left before cooked breakfast available, the continental breakfast was adequate.

We ate an evening meal that was poor in quality, and at £17.50 for frozen cod goujons with frozen chips and frozen peas thought it was expensive, the creamy chicken pasta was marginally better. Should I use this hotel again will eat on the way or arrive later.

We liked everything. The room was large with everything you needed in it. Air con, tv, kettle etc. Spotlessly clean. The beds were so comfy had a great sleep. The staff were amazing especially Michael on reception who helped us a lot. The free breakfast was beautiful fresh and hot. We would definitely stay again when in that area.

The only thing we could say we didn't like was the lift. It didn't always come when you wanted it. That was only a slight niggle but it did not put us off one bit.

Great location for the airport and on,u just off the A42 and M1. Staff were very helpful and friendly and breakfast was good

We did have an issue with the room I’d booked, but itwas sorted out quickly and in a friendly manner. The cold water pressure in the bathroom was very poor and one bedside light was faulty, the bulb fell out of it as it wasn’t properly secured

Everything was lovely, except car parking we didnt arive till after 5am, and left about 10am. £11.00 is alot to pay to park there, that is why we dont stay often, otherwise we would stay more.

Very nice and comfortable room. The hotel was clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was good although I would have liked it to finish later on the Sunday.

Early finish breakfast on Sunday Charge for chocolate bars etc astronomical. Fruit shoot and normal sized chocolate bar cost me nearly 5 pounds.

It was so noisy . Guests were laughing and talking loudly late at night in the corridor and banging on each other's doors there is no soundproofing at all

Reception staff a bit obnoxious, full of self importance, not a warm welcome. Hotel has no atmosphere and is too clinical. We had to wait for food due to "kitchen deep clean". Should have been done outside of meal times. Overall food was OK, main meal and breakfast taken, although I would have preferred a choice of eggs.

Was very easy to find. Although we only had one night it offered what we needed.

The staff were so welcoming and polite! Rooms are well proportioned and the air con was a treat! The hotel is in lovely condition and so well located for the airport. We loved the breakfast buffet too! We will definitely be coming back!

Perfect location for us as competing at Donington park race circuit. Breakfast was very good and available early as well. Being able to get hot meals in the evening ment we didn't have to travel anywhere else after a busy day. Good choice of beers etc. at the bar.

Paying for parking when you are staying at the hotel is a bit off. I get it if people are using the car park to park whilst on holiday but not if they are staying at the actual hotel. Should be included. The dinner menu could be a bit larger and could go on as room service til at least midnight

The property was very clean and tidy, very comfortable, food was good, great breakfast and choice and the evening menu had a great choice and enjoyable, staff were very helpful and friendly especially Gavin, and location was spot on for going to Donnington circuit.

I had to find someone once we arrived after waiting nearly 10 minutes just to check in. Breakfast from 4am, we had to catch the bus at that time so couldn't even get a cuppa or juice! Maybe a coffee machine for early leavers considering breakfast is included in the price! That's twice now we've had to leave without anything!

Aircon! An absolute winner on a hot day.

Worst breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel buffet. Stale croissant, cold scrambled eggs and bacon that had been under a lamp so long it had turned into leather. When I showed the manager, he quite aggressively asked me how I would like my bacon cooked, not to offer to have it cooked that way, but because he was trying to prove it was ok. Like talking to Basil Fawlty.

Comfortable beds, very clean room. Really good breakfast ,best croissants ever! Very good location for early or late flights. Staff so helpful and friendly. Second stay here and will not be the last.

Paid less than £100 for a twin room, including a hot breakfast which was excellent! Air conditioning which was almost welcome, comfy bed.

The staff were incredibly helpful and approachable. The location was great. It was perfect for what we needed. The breakfast was delicious.

The room was mostly clean. We found a single Pringle crisp underneath one of the beds which was disappointing. The ensuite was a little dated and there was a broken mirror, but the shower was great.

The air conditioning was not working properly. I tried to call on a number of occasions with no answer. This was very unsettling. I did ask for a room that was accessible for my son which apparently they did not have available.

The room was good with really good air-conditioning and sound-proofing. The beds were comfortable. When the light over the toilet started to flicker we mentioned it to reception, and it was fixed while we were out. Tea, milk etc was replenished each day. We were racing at Donington and there was plenty of room to park the van and trailer, with the race car on, the night after the meeting. The staff were really helpful about parking and as there's cameras all round we were happy that the outfit would be safe overnight. As always at a Holiday Inn, the breakfast was very good.

Excellent service from the staff. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended if you're flying out of East Midland Airport. Not necessarily a posh hotel but ideal for an overnight.
