Norfolk Towers Paddington

The property is in a very good location, the staff is excellent, and everything is clean. The breakfast is decent. The only downside is that the rooms are very small and narrow.

Convenient location close to the underground and within walking distance to Hyde park etc.

Hotel comodo per spostarsi nel centro di Londra; la stazione di Paddington è a 5 minuti a piedi. Hotel pulito e staff gentile.

La colazione è poco varia e se vuoi delle uova le paghi a parte ( 4 £ per 3 uova).

Veľmi dobrá lokalita hotela, je to v blízkosti metra. Izby boli čisté, pravidelná výmena uterákov na dennodennej báze, aj upratanie izby. Recepcia bola nepretržite k dispozícii. Páčila sa mi aj možnosť uskladnenia cenností v trezore na izbe.

Veľmi malá izbička, človek si nemal kam odložiť veci, ani kufor. Mne to na prespanie nevadilo, ale nemala som ani odkladací priestor alebo skriňu na odloženie vecí. Sprchový kút už bol v horšom stave, aj keď bol čistý. Taktiež bolo počuť metro, ale to je vzhľadom na blízkosť stanice, samozrejmé, treba s tým ale počítať.

I had some parcels delivered to the hotel and the staff went well above and beyond to ensure I got them safely. Really great care shown. Exceptional breakfast too.

I was shown through an interlink door between a couple of parts of the building (which included a few steps with a heavy suitcase). But there is an easier route by heading back into the street and going in the entrance down the road from reception. Only one step that way and much easier. Minor thing.

Die Zimmergroesse ist fuer 2 Leute nicht geeignet. Es erfordert Geschick, bei der geringen Groesse, die Badezimmertuer zuzubekommen.

El hotel está muy bien, nuestra habitación era nueva. La sección del edificio había sido ampliada y restaurada, por lo tanto todo era nuevo. El desayuno era muy completo, aquellos que les gusta el desayuno inglés aquí lo pueden disfrutar. La habitación era muy confortable y tenía todo lo que se necesita. Un aparte es la ubicación y Paddington ha mejorado muchísimo. Realmente un opción perfecta, con opciones de metro y bus a todas partes.

Posizione comodissima, pochissimi minuti dalla stazione di Paddington. Camera pulita, letti comodi, aria condizionata (non comune a Londra in questa fascia di prezzo) e colazione varia e abbondante. Giusto rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Unico neo la dimensione della camera, ma soprattutto il bagno molto piccolo e scomodo entrarci, ma essendo sempre fuori ha inciso poco.

No view from the room, there is a restaurant but not used for dinner services as we would have liked to have the availability to dine in on a tiring day.

Good location, just a 300 m walk from Paddington Station.

Room was tiny. Bathroom did not match the on line photos. It was sort of cruise like maybe even smaller. Window was small and room was dark although we were on the 5 th floor. Front desk wasn’t helpful when I asked if there were any other rooms available in order to upgrade. Fire alarm went off in the morning. One elevator for the whole building.

No window or view outside at all, just a fake photo window with picture of a mountain on it that lights up... Single bed which I was not expecting, I know it said single room but I had not understood bed would be single! Big gap between door and floor and an automatic light in hallway outside that went on as soon as anyone passed by, which was frequent and continued late into the night. Little or no soundproofing so you have to hear everyone chuffing their bags down the stairs and complaining. Eventually I rolled up a towel to lay in front of the door to try to block noise.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The rooms were very small, but the main issue was the unacceptable service and the way the hotel handled serious problems during our stay. On the second day, from the evening onwards, there was absolutely no running water. We couldn’t shower, brush our teeth, drink water, or even use the toilet. At that point, the room was simply not providing the most basic facilities you expect when paying for a hotel stay. We went down to reception several times looking for help, but the only response we received was that there was a “technical issue.” No solution was offered, no compensation, and not even a proper apology. What was particularly shocking was that when we asked the receptionist if he could at least provide us with a bottle of water, he simply told us to “go outside and buy water.” It was around 11 PM, we were already in our pajamas, and the hotel itself was unable to provide us with running water. We found this response incredibly rude, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, on our final morning we were suddenly woken up by an alarm that had apparently been activated by mistake. Once again, there was no proper explanation or apology from the hotel. Technical problems can happen anywhere, but what matters is how a hotel responds to them. In this case, there seemed to be absolutely no effort to take responsibility, assist the guests, apologize, or compensate us for a major disruption to a stay we had paid for. Being left without running water and then being treated this way by the staff made the experience even worse. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel.

Perfect stay for getting to Wembley stadium, 3 min walk to get on the tube.

There is only 1 lift that can only fit 2-3 people in so it can be a wait if many in the lobby. Although for me, I took the stairs as able to do so.

Schön eingerichtete Zimmer, niedliches Bad - alles sauber. Hotel in sehr guter Lage nahe der Paddington Station (5min zu Fuß) mit U-Bahn, Elisabeth-Line, Bus fährt direkt vor der Tür. In Paddington zahlreiche Pubs und Restaurants. Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich.

Die Zimmer sind etwas klein, insbesondere das Bad, da muss man sich etwas arrangieren. Aber da man sich nicht ewig in dem Zimmer aufhält, ist es kein großes Problem für uns gewesen.

Hotellet var mycket fint. Renoverat för tre år sedan. En stor skillnad från de andra hotellen i området. Vi har bott på flera av dom.

Frkostmatsalen var underdimensionerad. Man fick vänta 5 till 15 minuter för att få ett bord.

Great location 5 minute walk from Paddington for train and tube, room was clean and well laid out, great breakfast. The only very small thing was a very small bathroom, but did the job, would recommend this hotel.

Frühstück war eine Kathastrophe. 10 Leute stehen für verbrannten Toast an. Keine anderen Brotalternativen. Keine anderen Fleischvarianten außer Schwein. Kein Gemüse am Buffet. Tassen und Glässer waren Mangelware. Unser Zimmer war im Keller. Konnten unser Fenster nicht aufmachen geschweige den das wir irgendeine Aussicht hatten.

The hotel and staff was lovely but we were given a basement room which was extremely noisy. We could hear the tubes passing. The floor above ours the floors creaked really bad and all night people walking about was difficult to sleep. The mattress on the sofa bed was really bad so thin was like sleeping on the bars underneath

La prima notte ho dormito (pochissimo) in una camera rumorosa; i tubi del bagno in camera o dell'aria condizionata hanno fatto rumore per tutta la notte. La seconda notte, vi è stato un altro ospite dell'albero completamente fuori controllo che urlava in modo preoccupante disturbando tutto il corridoio (lo staff è poi intervenuto, ma la richiesta di essere spostata in un corridoio più "sicuro" mi è stata rifiutata). I letti sono piccolissimi, non confortevoli per persone alte. Entrambe le camere erano piccolissime, con a malapena lo spazio per camminare (a differenza delle foto).

A very pleasant stay in a convenient location, close to Paddington Station and Hyde Park. The staff were professional and helpful, and the hotel was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was good, although the selection was somewhat limited. The room was small, but this is fairly typical for hotels in this part of London. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

O hotel é uma graça! Localização absolutamente perfeita, quarto com cama e travesseiros confortáveis (não achei o quarto muito pequeno como falaram em outros comentários, tamanho ideal para duas pessoas sem excesso de bagagem), limpeza impecável (impecável mesmo!) e café da manhã simples e gostoso. Todos os funcionários são extremamente gentis e solícitos. Excelente custo benefício. Voltarei a me hospedar nele com certeza.

Schönes Hotel in der Nähe der Paddington Station. Wir hatten die Suit, daher war das Zimmer für Londoner Verhältnisse groß. Frühstück war ok

Die Suit war im Untergeschoss mit einem Fenster bzw. Lichtschacht. Am letzten Tag und Nacht fiel die Klimaanlage aus und wir hatten über 30 Grad im Zimmer. Es war nicht auszuhalten und unmöglich zu schlafen. Man hat uns eine Entschädigung angeboten, aber bis heute haben wir, obwohl wir unsere e-mail Adresse angegeben haben, nichts vom Hotelmanager gehört. Es ist jetzt 2 1/2 Monate her, nicht die feine Art bei dem gezahlten Preis

Die Lage war gut

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, insbesondere für zwei Personen, man konnte sich am Tisch nicht hinsetzen, weil es zwischen dem Bett und Tisch noch kaum Platz gab. Das Badezimmer war zu klein. Das Fenster kann man nicht aufmachen. Das Frühstück war bescheiden und man musste immer auf einen Tisch warten.

Rauhallinen hotelli keskeisellä paikalla. Moneen paikkaan pystyi kävelemään, varsinkin kun tykkäämme kävellä ja katsoa maisemia. Paddingtonin asema kuitenkin lähellä ja bussitkin kulkivat hotellin edestä. Siisti, tilava huone. Meillä oli iso huone 3 henkilölle, toimi hyvin meille.

Yleinen siisteys hyvää, mutta huomasimme, että esimerkiksi kahvikupin aluslautasta ei oltu pesty.

We arrived a little bit earlier than check-in time, but the reception managed to check us in early, which was very nice of them.

We were “upgraded” to a room with no windows, which was a bit of a bummer but not too bad for just one night, the room was very comfortable.

La ubicación y el entorno, muy recomendable. Impecable el servicio de habitaciones, de lo mejor que hoy en día se puede encontrar.

Para ser una habitación doble, era muy pequeña, pero el baño era minúsculo, casi no podía entrar una persona. También se agradecería por parte del personal de recepción, un pequeño esfuerzo por conocer alguna palabra de español. Para un hotel de 4 estrellas, inaudito que ni un solo trabajador supiera decir ninguna palabra, aunque fuera por mera cortesía.

Einzelzimmer im Keller ohne Fenster und Raumgröße kleiner als die 9qm lt. Beschreibung. Aus Booking com Zi Beschreibung ging nicht hervor, dass es 1 fensterloses Kellerzimmer war.

Wir waren für den Notting Hill Carnival in London und haben das Hotel vor allem wegen der zentralen Lage gewählt. Die Lage war wirklich top – direkt in der Innenstadt und dadurch waren viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel gut erreichbar. Gerade für unseren Aufenthalt zum Carnival war die Lage sehr praktisch. Das Housekeeping-Personal war super freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit – dafür ein großes Lob!

Leider war unser Zweibettzimmer im Keller und hatte kein Fenster sowie keine richtige Lüftungsmöglichkeit. Dadurch war das Zimmer etwas dunkel und die Luft teilweise nicht angenehm. Außerdem war das Hotel sehr hellhörig, und man konnte unter anderem den Aufzug deutlich hören. Das Frühstück hat uns leider geschmacklich nicht überzeugt. Insgesamt fanden wir den Preis für das Zimmer und die gebotene Leistung verhältnismäßig hoch. Fazit: Für einen Aufenthalt zum Notting Hill Carnival ist die zentrale Lage definitiv ein großer Pluspunkt. Das freundliche Personal hat unseren Aufenthalt ebenfalls angenehm gemacht. Beim Zimmer, der Hellhörigkeit und beim Frühstück gibt es allerdings noch Verbesserungspotenzial.

Die Lage war sehr gut, 5 min zum Bahnhof Paddington. Zu Fuß ist man in 30 min in Soho. Viele Bars , Restaurants und Geschäfte in der Nähe.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar, sehr nah an der Paddington Station. Die Betten waren bequem.

Die Zimmer und das Hotel waren immer sauber und ordentlich,

Leider entspricht das Hotel nicht dem Standard eines 4 Sterne Hotels. Die Fotos entsprechen in keinster Weise unserem Zimmer. Das Zimmer war in Etage -1. Es war sehr eng und stickig. Wir konnten es in dem Zimmer kaum aushalten. Belüftung von außen war so gut wie gar nicht möglich. Ein Koffer ging nicht an den Betten vorbei zu schieben, die gleich an der Zimmertür waren, so eng war das Zimmer. Die Betten waren in der Breite seeeeehr schmal. Das Frühstück war eines 4 Sterne Hotels nicht würdig. Kafffee - Instanzkaffee Rührei - aus Fertigpulver Es gab kein Gemüse. Es gab nur Toastbrot. Es gab keine Wurst. Es gab keinen Quark oder frischen nicht abgepackten Joghurt Sorry das geht gar nicht.
