Estaba todo muy limpio, está a unos 10-15 min caminando de la old town y de princess street. Está bastante bien ubicado

Unfriendly staff. Untidy room Cramped and congested room, not able to pass from one bed side to another

Guys said we have a free upgrade to the apartments. I am not sure if it was upgrade or downgrade, as the apartments were at the ceiling. Smell of dust and not cozy at all. For us it was just for 2 nights, so we didn’t argue. But for the same price we had much better apartment in Edinburgh

The location is perfect, near to Princess St and the shops. Capable staffs and good services. They even allow us store our bags before checking in time

Space is very clean and staff is so friendly and helpful

It didn’t have an elevator so if your room is in basement, you would need to carry it down the steps although staff offered to get it down for me but i just carried it myself

The fact you can barely get past the end of the bed !! And I’m not a big person . Nowhere to make a drink or out the kettle as the tray of teas etc place on the bedside Cabinet . There was room for a small desk or table but they haven’t thought of this . And noisy late night early morning

Comfortable, clean, quiet and good location in the new town and next to tram stop for airport connection.

Konumu fena sayılmaz tren istasyonuna 15 dakika mesafede. İki kişi kaldık. Britanya adasına göre çok büyük bir odaydı ranza vardı 4 kişi rahat kalabilirdi. Odada ücretsiz cips ve kurabiye vardı. Şampuan sabun havlu vardı. Şimdiye kadar kaldığınız en temiz odalardandı. Yine gidersem tercih ederim.

chambre en sous-sol, lit inconfortable, insonorisation inexistante... Vu le prix, je m'attendais à mieux. On aurait dit un Ibis Budget... à +200 euros !

The place was a rabbit warren of rooms, the rooms were minuscule even on a city scale and breakfast was unappetizing.

Perfekte Lage, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß und man ist mitten auf der Royal Mile. Die Zimmer waren klein, aber sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war lecker.

I loved the location, and they managed to give us a room upgrade since it was our honeymoon. I have a hearing disability and the staff was so helpful and gave me a device that would wake me up if any alarms/emergencies happened. You can’t beat the location either, the airport team was right outside.

It was pretty expensive for three nights but it was worth it. Would’ve loved if it came with more hotel amenities like shampoo, conditioners and lotions etc.

Location was good for the shopping centre

This hotel is in serious need of an upgrade. The carpets throughout the hallways and stairs are visibly dirty, the floors are old, creaking and loud. Our room was very small and you had to squeeze past the end of the bed, there wasn’t enough room to have two suitcases open in the room. There were no chairs or desks for you to place any items, just a small bedside shelf on each side. The bathroom had broken, creaky laminate flooring and it was dusty in areas like it had not been cleaned properly for months. The window was permanently stuck open and we weren’t able to close it. The shower had extremely low water pressure. The television signal kept cutting out. The WiFi only worked intermittently. The housekeeping service was very minimal, they only made the bed and provided new toilet rolls. The only good thing I would say is the bed was quite comfortable! And of course the location was good. All in all, for the price of £192 per night it was very disappointing.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss/Keller. Leider war unser Fenster kaputt, sodass es gut 10cm offen stand. Wir konnten es weder schliessen, noch weiter öffnen. Finde ich fahrlässig, vor allem in diesem Stockwerk, wo man vom Bodem zum Fenster gelangen kann. Ein Personaldurchgang war direkt neben unserem Fenster. Dadurch, dass es offen war, war es bereits früh am Morgen schon immer laut.

The hotel looks great from the outside, the inside public areas didn't disappoint either. The public-facing staff were very pleasant and helpful. For close to £200 per night, the room was quite small but the hotel's location, close to city centre and very close to the Hop On Hop Off bus route was great! The bed was comfy but very soft. Beds are a very personal thing but a firmer bed would have suited us better. When you sit on the side of the bed to put your socks on and you're sliding off at the same time, that's a soft bed!

Oh dear. After a long day out, we arrived back to find the door of the room had been left open after cleaning. That was forgiveable. We didn't want to get anyone in trouble but needed that security so we did report it. The next day, after another long day out, we arrived to find the door of the room had been left open again. This time, unforgiveable. More staff training needed? Perhaps. Maintenance to self-closing doors needed? Quite possibly. We mentioned it again to reception and, apparently, it was noted. An easy fix, we hope.

Die Lage war sehr gut, mit dem Bus erreicht man das Stadtzentrum in kurzer Zeit. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Frühstück nur ok (im Vergleich zum Rest unseres Trips eher das schlechteste).Fenster sehr schwer zu öffnen (war ein kleines, ungewolltes Work-Out jeden Tag). Parkplatz teuer und nur für kleine bis mittelgroße PKWs geeignet (zum Glück haben wir auf Nachfrage von einem Parkhaus in der Nähe erfahren, wofür das Hotel einen Rabattcode hat und damit sogar billiger war als der hauseigene Parkplatz)

Rooms smelt like vomit when we first went in and realised it was the carpets when we left our belongings on the floor and could smell straight away off them.

Location was good for the theatre which is what I wanted. The bed was really comfortable. Best hotel sleep I’ve had in years.

The lounge tub seats are too low. Had great difficulty getting out of them.

Стаята беше голяма, добре обзаведена, ухаеща приятно и оборудвана с всичко необходимо - кана за гореща вода, ютия, маса за гладене, сешоар. Успяхме да се насладим на тишината през нощта. Дамата на рецепцията беше много мила и ни настани по-рано, тъй като имаше такава възможност. Този жест направи краткия ни престой още по-приятен.

Прозорецът не се отваря /вдига/ повече от 10 см, но явно това е политика, свързана със сигурността на гостите навсякъде по хотелите в Шоландия.

Viss patika. Tik lieliem apartamentiem varētu būt 2 atslēgas, bet tā nebija problēma. Varēja atstāt reģistratūrā. Varbūt varētu būt telefona lādētājs viesiem no Eiropas.

Lovely staff -friendly and helpful. I had to check out early and they called a taxi. Very comfy bed and bedding and I had a great night’s sleep .

Booked a single room, got upgraded to a double room. Upon entering the room, there was a very foul odor, a wet dog like smell coming from the carpet. I decided to go up to reception and ask if there was a non-carpeted room available. The lady at the reception told me I need to wait till the next day because only housekeeping would know if the rooms have carpets or not. I went back to the room and opened the windows in the hope that the smell would go away. Unfortunately staying there only made my allergies to the smells coming from the carpet even worse. I decided to check Booking.com again to book a room in a nearby hotel because I could barely breathe sitting the room and staying there overnight was not an option. While browsing booking.com, I noticed there was a room available for the dates I wanted, and based on the pictures, there was no carpet in the room. I went back up again and mentioned this to the receptionist, she checked and told me the room was only available for one night. I was wondering how that would be possible if Booking shows otherwise? After consulting with another colleague, I was given the room I saw earlier on booking.com As a guest, I shouldn't have been the one to look up which rooms are available.

Friendly staff, was given an upgrade during the busy festival season. Room was larger than I booked and had everything I needed. Great value!

Если вы не хотите почувствовать себя нежеланным гостем и столкнуться с грубым персоналом, то лучше не езжайте сюда. Честно, посмотрела на расположение и цену и посчитала, что очень хороший вариант, но лучше доплатить и расположиться в другом отеле. Персонал очень принципиальный, никакой заботы о своих гостях. Ночью я вежливо написала письмо о просьбе, что если будет возможность заехать пораньше мы были бы очень благодарны, так как наш рейс задержали и мы провели в дороге 8 часов и 4 часа на улице, не спали всю ночь, замерзли и хотели отдохнуть, готовы были доплатить за более ранний заезд, мы не пришли в отель слишком рано, а провели это время на улице, в отель мы пришли только к 13:00, но женщина на ресепшене была настолько принципиальная, что даже не попыталась узнать у клининга возможно ли наша комната готова пораньше? Она просто грубо сказала: нет, только в 15:00 заезд. Я понимаю, что есть правила и нужно их соблюдать, но если номер готов, почему бы не помочь своим гостям сделать их прибывание комфортным, проявить заботу, тем более, мы готовы были заплатить. И еще один важный факт: чайник был грязный и в нем осталась вода, и чайник убрало с водой в шкаф🥴это было отвратительно. В остальном номер был чистый.

The location was ideal being very near the city centre. We booked a small double room with on-suits but was given an apartment without on-suite which was fine but would have preferred on-suite. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Location was very quiet. Very good standard of cleanliness except for the stained carpet!

Ich hatte im Vorfeld einige sehr schlechte Kommentare über die Unterkunft gelesen. Wir hatten Zimmer 103 - das war klein, aber für drei Personen für eine Nacht ok. Die Ausstattung war gut: Bügeleisen, Ventilator, Fön, Wasserkocher, ... Auch die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung. Die Lage ist für einen Stadturlaub in Edinburgh gut. Angeblich hat die Unterkunft einen Parkplatz. Als ich danach fragte, wieß man mich nur auf die Parkplätze an der Straße hin. Professionell geht anders.

Das Frühstück war ziemlich einfach. Auch war das Hotelpersonal nicht übertrieben freundlich ... nein, es war sehr kühl-distanziert und nicht wirklich bereit, Fragen zu beantworten oder mehr als die nötige Kommunikation zu betreiben, sei es beim Ein- oder Auschecken oder beim Frühstück. Für den Preis einer Nacht unter der Woche konnten drei Personen im ibis budget Glasgow drei Nächte von Freitag bis Montag übernachten und zahlten nur 47 Pfund mehr.

Me parece un alojamiento carísimos para lo que ofrece. Y el desayuno muy justo a mi parecer. Entiendo que ha coincidido con el Festival,pero 900€ por 3 noches ,para lo que ofrece me parece excesivo.

Location and reception staff

The staff responsible for morning buffet appeared rude and expressed an un-friendly attitude, not typically how you would like to start a day.

The staff were exceptional. Our TV wasn't working and someone came immediately. He was very patient even when it was obviously something we were doing wrong The location was terrific and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. The room was very clean and had a giant window we propped open.

The room was extremely small. To get from one side of the bed to the bathroom you had to shuffle sideways and watch that you didn't bump your head on the TV.

Rapporto prezzo/qualità pessimo. 300 euro a notte per una camera separata dall’albergo principale, bagno microscopico, niente frigo, colazione carissima non inclusa. Parcheggio non incluso e a pagamento in strada a 50 euro al giorno. Un incubo.

The location is perfect! Walking distance to the train station and many fun pubs, theaters, books stores, etc

Room clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Great view from the window of Carlton Hill. Continental breakfast had plenty of choice. As a female alone, I felt safe.

A moveable shower head would have been better than a fixed one for me.

I spent two nights at this hotel, over two separate bookings. The first night was in a very spacious room, the second night in a smaller room. I would have preferred a bath on the second night instead of the shower provided, but I have no complaints over the facilities provided and would stay again. It has an excellent location for the Playhouse end of town.

I didn't have any complaints about the hotel facilities.

En la página web venden una imagen que no se corresponde de con la realidad. Estuvimos en el Apartamento 20 A, o habitación del fondo es un desastre, los baños otro desastre, viejísimo, hecho de forma chapucera y sin ningún mantenimiento.

Das Frühstück entsprach nicht unseren Vorstellungen. Das Weissbrot war trocken, der Orangensaft sehr dünn. Das (upgegradete) Appartment lag im Souterain und was sehr dunkel.

Maybe it was the timing of my arrival as the fringe festival was on so you’d expect the rates to be higher but the rate and the room were definitely in disconnect. In saying that I was only needing somewhere to sleep overnight and for that it was adequate. The room was somewhat claustrophobic as was the bathroom where the design ensures that the shower water goes out of the shower and into the area itself. Water was hot and with good pressure so that was a plus. Breakfast was ok which is in keeping with the venue. It certainly doesn’t deserve a negative review only that you should know what to expect and you won’t be disappointed as a result.

There are no lifts so all luggage has to be lifted up the multiple stairs if you’re on a higher room There is no air conditioning and a window that barely opens Neither is a deal breaker but it should be described more appropriately in the hotels information

Casa completamente a disposizione del gruppo. Ogni camera ha il suo bagno che rende il soggiorno perfetto. Posizione centrale, tutto è raggiungibile a piedi in 20 minuti

We were located in the “basement” overlooking a concrete wall. Essentially this is an overpriced youth hostel.

Nice room with a lot of space and quite neighbourhood to be close from the dowtown.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό και είχε πάρα πολύ καλά κρεβάτια. Ικανοποιητικό πρωινό και πολύ εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. 10 λεπτά περπάτημα από το κέντρο της πόλης.

Το κόστος του ξενοδοχείου είναι εξαιρετικά δυσανάλογο με το δωμάτιο. Το δωμάτιο μας ήταν υπόγειο και ενώ το είχαμε κλείσει για 3 ενήλικες το τρίτο κρεββάτι ήταν μία διώροφη κουκέτα στην οποία αυτός που κοιμήθηκε χωρούσε μετά βίας. Ο χώρος πολύ μικρός για 3 άτομα. Δεν έχει κλιματισμό, ενώ το παράθυρο άνοιγε μόνο 10cm. Ευτυχώς που δεν είχε ζέστη εκείνες της ημέρες αλλιώς δεν μένεις εκεί κάτω.
