Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. L’emplacement est idéal, à proximité de la place centrale. L’ambiance est toutefois un peu kitsch, que ce soit au niveau de l’immeuble, de l’intérieur ou de la décoration.

L’hôtel est agréable dans l’ensemble, mais la décoration intérieure des chambres est un peu vieillotte. Le petit déjeuner est, compte tenu du prix, assez peu fourni. Quant au buffet, il y a vraiment très peu de choix.

Emplacement exceptionnel. Chambre propre et confortable. Personnel sympathique et serviable. J'ai pu bénéficier d'un emplacement de parking dès mon arrivée jusqu'à mon départ, à 500m de l'hôtel. On reviendra ! Merci pour tout.

L’emplacement

Le parking qui était indiqué alors qu’il n’y en a pas. Le temps perdu à trouvé l’établissement. Après 8h de route, on a pas envie de passer 30 minutes supplémentaires à chercher l’établissement.

I have been in more comfortable places, and the rooms are small, but that didn't matter as it was just me rather than travelling with a partner, and the vibe and location were lovely.

Le personnel accueillant, nous avons pu avoir les clés à notre arrivée ce que nous avons apprécié, les horaires d'ouverture 24h/24h, l'hôtel est situé en plein centre ville pas loin de la gare pour la braderie c'est top, la propreté de la chambre aucun souci, pour la salle de bain çà reste assez ancien, on aurait préféré une chambre qui donne directement sur la rue (ce que nous demanderons lors d'un prochain séjour) celle que nous avions donnait sur les toits.

Petit souci avec le flexible de douche qui a été signalé (notre demande a été prise en compte)

Het was erg klein. Passen en meten. Om een raam te openen moesten we een tafeltje verschuiven en er was nauwelijks plaats voor de koffers. In een normaal weekend perfecte Ligging: middenin het centrum. Tijdens de jaarlijkse braderie is het te centraal in verband met veel harde geluiden van de festiviteiten (muziek, feestende mensen)

We zijn vriendelijk ontvangen en daar we met onze fietsen waren konden we die stallen in het hotel, waar ze veilig stonden. Mooie ligging midden in het centrum van Lille. Ideaal hotel voor fietsers.

L'immeuble est vieux mais a été très bien entretenu (ce n'est pas un point négatif, les trous du plancher sont résorbés avec les.moquettes). Idéalement situé, pas cher, agréable. Une Critique de l'immeuble ancien : les passages de résidents font trembler le sol (couloir et étage supérieur). Mais sinon très bien. Petit-déjeuner 14€ un peu trop cher. 11€ serait idéal

Old style hotel very cosy and clean situated in the very centre of Lille. Staff was really nice.

Wonderful. This place is a gem. Friendly, welcoming, comfortable, old-fashioned in a good way. I've stayed in more modern but charscterless Lille hotels. Hotel de la Paix is a real treat. Everything you need in your room, lovely little landings with seating, the nicest of staff. Character and a proper human touch. Very nice location. Best place I've stayed in ages.

Check in was 3. Got there in time, had to wait 45 minutes to get into the room. Had to keep asking if the room was ready, when it was finally ready they just shrugged. Also the shuttle bus to Disney stops at 12 and starts at 5, if you don’t have transport you have no choice but to get a cab. Do Not get a cab from the station, use Uber or a trusted source, cabbies at the station will try to rip you off. There are no shops within walking distance, and the menu is very limited, especially if you have any other requirements other than meat.

Great location in the heart of everything .The room was spacious with beautiful paintings on the walls separated toilet .The bathroom was spacious with bath and a shower over the bath .clean towels if you wanted every day . Tea ,coffee ,milk kettle provided .Breakfast was lovely nice choice. Staff very friendly and helpful .

Handing key back and forth getting mixed short service sometimes. Not sure how secure having key out at checkin desk is.

We had to leave very early to catch a train but the staff made sure that there was breakfast available for us so we wouldn't have to travel on an empty stomach. It's these little kindnesses that are long remembered.

L'emplacement était top. Il y avait un ventilateur, des moustiquaires aux fenêtres et une prise anti-moustiques. Il n'y avait pas de bruit alors que c'est en plein centre ville. J'ai beaucoup aimé la déco et le style de l'escalier 🤩

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré mais c'est déjà très bien.

A bit tricky to find all the small streets look alike !

Charmant hotel, het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Goed verzorgd ontbijt. We hadden een kamer op de bovenste verdieping zonder airco. Nu was het niet meer zo warm en was het 's nachts prima te doen met het raam (met hor ervoor) open en de ventilator aan (bijna niet te horen op stand 1). Het hotel ligt in voetgangersgebied dus lekker rustig 's nachts.

De lamp boven de wastafelspiegel zou wel wat feller mogen zijn.

The hotel was great in terms of staff, location and very clean.

The only issue was that it was somewhat basic and with no air-con the room was extremely hot.

Odalar çok eski, yer sürekli gıcırdıyor. Camlarda sineklik olmasına rağmen odalar sinek dolu. Odada kocaman örümcek ağı öyle kalmış ve büyük olasılık uzun süredir orada duruyordu. Duvarda sinek ölmüş silinmemiş. Odalarda klima yok yazın gitmek saçmalık. Konfor adına hiçbir şey yok diyebilirim. Tuvaletler çok temiz görünmüyordu.

L’établissement a beaucoup de charme de l’époque avec équipement moderne. Très bien situé et très propre.

Friendly staff, a super central location, and a very comfortable room. I can’t score it higher, because it’s not designed to be mind blowingly fancy, but it was clean and well laid out, and everything felt new or well looked after. Good breakfast too.

We had a executive family suite for our family of four, which had bunk beds for our children, and a seperate room for ourselves, with a sliding door. The room was well appointed, with two tvs, lovely bathroom and seperate toilet, and a kitchenette. Excellent location! Three points to note: They only have two parking spaces, which are away from the hotel and need to be pre-booked. In such a central location, there are many cafes which offer alternatives for breakfast at the hotel. Finally, the rooms have opening windows and are naturally ventilated, as opposed to having a/c, which is normally fine but it did make them pretty warm during the heatwave!

Kamer erg ruim, 2 fijne bedden, bad in de badkamer is niet erg ruim. Alles schoon wat het belangrijkste is. Ontbijt niet gehad, kun je denk ik beter in de stad doen, hebben wij ook gedaan. Hotel ligt op 200 meter van het centrum en tevens de parkeergarage.

The hotel itself is very charming and has a pleasant atmosphere. The location was convenient, and we appreciated the overall character of the property. And very clean.

One of the gentlemen at the reception, the one without glasses, made us feel as though he was bothered whenever we entered or left the hotel. His attitude came across as quite cold and unwelcoming, which affected our overall impression of the service. This was noticeably different from the other gentleman with glasses and the lady at reception, who were both very polite, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. During our stay, the temperatures were quite high, and unfortunately, the hotel does not have air conditioning. As a result, the rooms became extremely hot, making it very difficult for us to sleep comfortably at night. Opening the windows was not really an option either, as mosquitoes would come into the room.

Lovely colourful individual decor

Die Lage ist fantastisch: Nur wenige Minuten vom Bahnhof und nur wenige Minuten in die Innenstadt. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, sauber und unser Zimmer war trotz Innenstadtlage ruhig.

Das Frühstück ist recht teuer, wir haben es nicht gebucht und für weniger Geld ein paar Meter weiter in einem Kaffee gefrühstückt.

Het was een leuk gezellig boutique hotel, met aardig personeel. De locatie was super midden in het centrum.

Er was geen airconditioning waardoor het erg warm was op de kamer. Het raam kon open maar daardoor had je wel erg last van muggen.

La situation géographique. La propreté. La carafe d’eau et des verres à eau … en verre! Le wc dans une pièce à part, hors salle de bain. Le style de l’hôtel (déco). La gentillesse du personnel.

L’absence d’air conditionné dans la chambre. Le mobilier légèrement vieillot.

Het was ontzettend warm op de kamer (er was enkel een ventilator). Met het raam open slapen was een ramp omwille van het lawaai en de muggen. Er was een koelkast maar die werkte niet. En er was enkel een bad, douchen moest dan maar gehurkt.

Hotel se nalazi na savršenoj lokaciji, u samom centru grada. Železnička stanica udaljena svega 10-tak minuta hoda. Osoblje izuzetno ljubazno i prijatno. Hotel kao i sama soba uredni i lepo sredjeni. Sve preporuke za posetu istog.

No AC in the room we stayed in. The room its self was nice but the fan we were given made little difference to the overbearing heat in the room. It would have been fine in the Autumn Winter Spring but it wasn’t fine on an extremely hot summer day.

Hotel de La Paix is not a 5 star hotel, but what it does it does very well. Excellent value for money.

A very grand charming hotel for the price. A good size room with some lovely decorative touches (art deco door handle - wood panelling, etc) - a nice bathroom with separate toilet and a nice bath. Friendly and helpful staff and a great location for exploring the city.
