Gym was poor at best. Spa was tiny but nice. Temperature for all spa amenities were not optional. Sauna was warm, not hot. Same with jetted hot tub. Pillows were not comfortable and mattress wasn't either. Didnt sleep well at all.

Spacious rooms, well stocked with coffee and tea. Beautiful balcony with view. Spa is fantastic, the outdoor sauna is a real highlight. Hotel location is excellent.

We were unable to park our van due to limited parking spaces. The hotel also charge €30 per night for parking which I think is ridiculous. We paid less per night in the car park down the street. I messaged asking the hotel to inform me if the room was available earlier than 4pm, they informed me that early check in was €30 extra… even if the room was available?

The mountain view from the room and large balcony is incredible. The lobby/bar/communal area is a great place to sit and relax, with lots of games and books. The breakfast was excellent, offering pretty much anything you could think of. Comfortable rooms

Guests going for the spa should be aware that young children are allowed, negating any relaxing spa-like ambience as they scream and splash about. The wi-fi was a bit patchy in our room

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut

Unser Zimmer war nicht gut geputzt…alte Rasierklinge/Taschentuch im Badezimmer. Haare noch vereinzelt am Boden. Asche auf dem Balkon. Uns wurde dann nochmals eine komplette Reinigung angeordnet, aber dies sollte der Standard sein täglich. Der Spa ist auch nicht das was man von einem Spa erwartet.

Very low-standard hotel. It does not feel like a 4-star hotel and it is absolutely not worth the very high price. We booked a family room, and it was extremely disappointing: cramped, poorly maintained, old, and unpleasant. The toilet room had no ventilation and no sink, the door handle was broken, and there was a sewage smell. The entire layout was impractical and very small, and the room looked nothing like it does in the photos. One of the showers did not even have a door. Poor spa We were on a long trip and stayed in many hotels along the way, and this was by far both the most expensive and the worst. It was even more expensive than the hotels we stayed at in Zermatt, Colmar, and Lausanne. This was the first time we felt that the rating on Booking.com was not a reliable reflection of the hotel, and unfortunately, it led to a disappointing experience.

Posizione centralissima per Chamonix, ampia stanza ben arredata, con bagno grandissimo. Balcone con vista sull'Aiguille du Midi. Colazione abbondante e variegata. Piscina e centro SPA non grandissimi, ma completi e molto piacevoli.

מלון 4 כוכבים מצויין, כבר פעם שנייה שלנו שם ותמיד נחזור. ארוחת הבוקר מצויינת, החדר נקי ונוח מאוד, יש נוף עוצר נשימה למון בלאן מהמרפסת. שקט מאוד במלון. הצוות נחמד מאוד, יש חנייה מתחת למלון 30 פרנקים שוויצרים ליום, לא זול הכל קרוב מאוד למלון, רכבלים, מסעדות, סופרמרקט, שופינג ועוד. צוות המלון נחמד ועוזר יש ספא ובריכה.

لا يوجد تكييف ولكن ليس ضروري المنطقه جبليه وليلاً بارده

Zeer mooie kamer, goede bedden, prachtig uitzicht vanop het terrasje. Zeer fijne spa en goed georganiseerd met reservaties zodat er nooit te veel volk is, ook thee aanwezig. Vroeg ontbijt, zeer gevarieerd en lekker. In de gang van de kamers stond een tapkraantje om je drinkbus aan te vullen. Dagelijks kameronderhoud, koffie werd aangevuld en eventueel nieuwe handdoeken.

Na een regenachtige dag miste we in de kamer enkele kapstokjes om onze kledij te laten drogen. Wel prijzig.

스파를 잘 이용해서 좋았어요. 작지만 예쁜 스파 였습니다. 객실에서 몽블랑이 보이고 스파에서도 몽블랑을 볼 수 있어서 좋았습니다.

체크인 시간이 늦고 체크아웃 시간도 11시 인 점이 좀 아쉬웠어요.

Pas de communication avec le personnel qui n est pas présent et cache derrière leur ordinateur À part pour nous dire que la chambre est a un prix d appel ! Chambre sur la route au 1 étage avec un bloc de béton en face : on ne peux pas ouvrir la fenêtre ! Heureusement cette mauvaise expérience a Dure que quatre jours C est la première fois que je n apprécie pas un hôtel et pourtant on les fréquente

I loved the room it was spacious and clean, the balcony was a life saver in the heat! Breakfast and the spa were awesome and best of all the location!

Cons: parking is really expensive, you pay a decent penny to stay here so €30 a night seems unreasonable! I would also say the beds are alittle firm for my liking!

Location is perfect: close to the center, but not noisy. SPA is very nice and the reservation system keeps it from being crowded. It was a great rest after TMB trail. The view is one of bonuses. Especially enjoyable from sunbeds and Jacuzzi. The stuff was incredible - they had always so welcoming and nice attitude.

Hotel shows minor signs of passing time, but overall it is very clean and well maintained. Breakfast could be better - had worst scrambled eggs in the world, but everything else was good.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the city centre, restaurants, cafés, and other essential services. Overall, the property itself was good and conveniently located.

The hotel did not have air conditioning, and the level of service was below what I expected. I had to carry my luggage to and from the room myself, and there was no free hotel parking. At breakfast, a staff member welcomed us in a very unpleasant manner and told us they would be closing in 20 minutes, using a tone that made us feel as though we should not enter. There were also insects on the bed, which was very concerning. In addition, I had emailed the hotel in advance explaining that we were on our honeymoon and expecting a room on a higher floor with a nice view, but this request was not accommodated. The breakfast also did not offer any clearly available halal options, which significantly limited what we could eat.

Everything was perfect. Spa was tremendous after a long hike. Staff very accommodating with early bag drops. Shout out to the friendly Australian lady at the front desk - very helpful.

Would expect the breakfast to be included since it was a bit pricey for a single night. Some "warm" breakfast items were cold.

La vue sur le mont blanc depuis le spa. L emplacement à 10 minutes à pied du telepherique de l aiguille du midi et du train de montenvers. Au pied du centre ville. Un excellent petit dejeuner varié et une demi pension de qualité.

Le spa est agréable mais petit. Pas très reposant lorsque des enfants sautent dans la piscine Une climatisation aurait été appréciée avec les chaleurs.

The room really stank of stale cigarette smoke on arrival - ash tray left on balcony as evidence! Arrived really late at night so didn’t make a fuss but cleaners must have noticed and felt could have done something about it - took 2 days to go - small thing but avoidable

Well appointed room and excellent view. The bed is very comfortable and the towels nice and fluffy.

A small bar fridge would have been good to keep cool drinks in as it was very hot the week I was there.

The view is superb facing the mountains and the location is perfect, near the cable car and shopping area. The spa was a fun experience.

The hotel’s location is excellent, just a short walk from the town center. The breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the view of Mont Blanc from our room was absolutely stunning

The hotel feels quite dated and could use a major renovation. Our room had a noticeable moldy smell, and the pool area looked dirty and poorly maintained. The swimming pool is very small and shallow, so it’s more of a splash pool than a real swimming pool. The hot tub was also disappointingly small and not warm enough. Overall, despite being advertised as a 4-star hotel, it felt closer to a 3-star property and did not offer good value for the price

There is only one bathroom in the suite that accommodates 5 people!! The breakfast is very normal, there is no variety and it does not match the hotel's rating, and I do not recommend booking a room with breakfast.

Top-Lage

This is a difficult place for me to review because, in fairness, I booked what I believe was one of the very best rooms in the hotel and assumed the rest of the hotel would be of a similar standard. To be fair to the team there, the room itself was excellent. I had a suite on the eighth floor with fantastic views, and I really couldn’t fault it. It was spacious, comfortable, and genuinely very nice. The issue for me was that the rest of the hotel didn’t quite match the expectation I had built up from the photos on Booking.com. The pictures aren’t necessarily inaccurate — the room photos are right — but they don’t really capture the true feel of the hotel once you’re there. Online, it comes across more like a smart, four-star-style alpine hotel with lovely log-themed rooms. In reality, parts of it felt darker, more tired, and more budget-focused than I expected. The corridors, for example, are very red with a lot of grey, and they felt quite dark and dingy. The lift also had a very strong smell of cleaning fluids, which wasn’t pleasant. The public areas downstairs were better — light, with a nice bar, a good breakfast area, games tables, snooker tables, and a few other facilities — but the overall atmosphere still felt very much aimed at walkers, hikers, cyclists, and outdoor activity guests. That is not necessarily a criticism, because this is Chamonix after all, and I suppose I should probably have realised that the hotel would be heavily geared towards that market. If you are there for walking, biking, skiing, hiking, or outdoor activities, then the hotel probably makes a lot of sense. It has good facilities, a sauna, a relaxed feel, and the parking was absolutely fantastic — very secure and reassuring. There was also a bit of an odour in parts of the building, which I assume comes from lots of outdoor activity guests returning after long days out. There was also some smell of weed outside at times, which didn’t help the overall impression. So my review real

What I didn’t like about the hotel was that the moment I walked into the lobby and entrance area, I realised it wasn’t quite the standard I had expected from the photos online. The entrance and reception area felt quite basic, and my immediate impression was that this was more of a two-and-a-half to three-star-style hotel rather than the more premium alpine hotel I thought I had booked. The corridors were also a big part of that impression. They felt grey, dark, and a little grubby in places, with cleaning trolleys regularly left around. The lifts were quite small too, and there was a very strong smell of cleaning alcohol or disinfectant in them, which was not particularly pleasant. None of this ruined the stay, especially because my actual room was very good, but the wider hotel experience felt much more basic than expected. It just didn’t have the overall finish, atmosphere, or quality I thought I was booking.
