Nothing as such. Only thing which I didn’t find is the breakfast in the hotel. Though, they offer it in the bakery next to the hotel.

掃除はきちんとされているが設備が古い。 ドライヤーがホースタイプなので髪を乾かすのに相当時間がかかるし、途中でホースが熱くなって持てなくなる。 シャワールームの扉の幅が合っておらず、シャワー側の壁に扉を合わせると足場の方に隙間が出来てしまい、どちらかに合わせるのが正解なのかわからなかった。なんとか外側の床が濡れないように気をつけてシャワーを浴びた。

All was good. The place is a little on the older side, but was perfect for my needs. I felt very safe as a solo traveler.

Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Spannteppich sollte unbedingt ausgewechselt werden. (Fleckig)

The rooms are not very spacious but adequate to accommodate our luggage. The decorations of the hotel are very nice and beautiful. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The windows of our room were adjacent to a staircase, and we needed to close the curtains all the time.

Reviewed Oct 6, 2025We were unaware of an airport shuttle? Arriving after 8:00 p.m. was a bit difficult. We were, however, finally able to follow the steps to open and get our keys. It was very helpful that a young couple was coming out and could help us. Also thoughtful and helpful was an envelope with our name with a key! It seemed very early to have no staff available. Next day staff person was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay.

The staff were excellent and very helpful and had a stock of electrical adapters when i realised i had forgotten mine. The hotel was clean with fresh fruit on the reception desk for guests, and breakfast served in the cafe next door currently, was delicious.

La salle d'eau trop petite ainsi que la douche. Le petit déjeuner trop limité, nous n'avons pas pu avoir une boisson froide, seulement deux pains, une petit morceau de Beurre et une petite confiture avec des oeufs brouillés. Peu de choix et trop limité pour le prix.

Reviewed Sep 29, 2025Receptionist was very nice. Bed was comfortable but I should have ordered an extra pillow or 2 because I woke up with a neck ache. Refrigerator didn't work but if you plan on staying overnight and just need a place to sleep, this is fine. A bonus is the free breakfast which is hard to find in Switzerland!

The room was quite small, the toilet flush wasn’t working properly, and the mattress was uncomfortable. The room also didn’t feel as clean as expected. Breakfast wasn’t served on-site- you have to walk down to a nearby cafe, which is convenient but not ideal.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025Arlette Hotel was one of the more affordable hotels in Zurich that I selected. PROs: Within 5 min. walk from the Central Train Station and Landesmuseum. Warm welcome from Jacob, and nice chats + tips from Manfred, a friendly resourceful young man. Room has everything that a single travel needs. AC is available despite non-avail. listing. CONs: Room is old. AC is noisy. Bathroom needs more lighting. Bed is placed near table - be sure to move bed away or you'll bump your head on the table edge. Buffet breakfast is temporarily UNAVAILABLE despite listing. I was issued a daily voucher with SAME menu per day at the next-door Cafe with some non-English speaking ladies - that means just ONE coffee, ONE everything, NOT a buffet. This hotel losts one star due to this.

In house restaurant was closed but the breakfast arrangement with the next door cafe was perfect for tourists like me. The reception staff were very extremely cordial professional & helpful. Reviewed Sep 11, 2025The front desk person Jakob was very accommodating. He allowed us to check in before 11 AM! He also allowed us to borrow a hot water kettle. Check out is also later than other hotels. It is at 11:30. There is an available elevator, although small. Hotel is a bit old but is very close to the main train station, Zurich HB. Approximately 6-7 minutes walk. Hotel is also close to old town and the new area where you can go shopping. Close to restaurants. Will definitely stay again if we are in Zurich. Highly recommended if you want to stay close to action but in a much quieter location.
