The breakfast was quite nice. The people at the reception were very nice too, as well as the personnel at the breakfast.

A change of the shower curtain was a bit past due, the bottom was really dirty. The room was a bit old but it was ok. When I checked out I was told that I’d receive the invoice via email but I had to follow up to get it.

Breakfast was decent. Property is in need of an upgrade, a bit run down

Trotz der sehr zentralen Lage nahe des Bahnhofs konnten wir nachts bei geschlossenem Fenster sehr gut schlafen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, die Betten bequem. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut. Die Koffer konnte man am Abreisetag noch im Hotel lassen.

Ne ravno prijazno osebje na recepciji in zajtrk, ki ga niti ni bilo. Zmanjkalo vmešanih jajc in salame, pa je strežnica rekla, da ne bo več, četudi je bila ura 8h zjutraj!

Un peu vieilli. . . Meubles et tapis , rideaux sales et pas très accueillant. Salle de bain pas terrible non plus ;(Dommage ce manque d hygiène pour un trois étoiles.

Close to station and easy access to other transport. Breakfast was included. Room had roller shutter which darkened the room well.

A little bit of noise from surrounding rooms and external noise with building site next door. Lack of power points near the bed.

Really well located. Friendly, efficient check in. Room was reasonably clean, functional and comfortable. Breakfast was decent. We were able to store bags upon check out and staff were friendly with every interaction.

I enjoyed my stay and found the staff were very professional and kind. I loved the 1950s design and found the hotel immaculately clean and efficient. I would have liked a TV . It was hot but who can help it when there is a heat wave. I could open the windows so that was a great blessing.

Very disappointing – excellent location, but rooms need significant improvement The location near Zürich Hauptbahnhof is excellent and was the main positive of our stay. Unfortunately, the condition and standard of our rooms were very disappointing and did not reflect the impression given by the advertised photographs. The rooms were tired and dated, with noticeably worn furniture. The flooring had lifted in places, creating raised sections that I considered a potential trip hazard, particularly at night. The lighting was also very poor, one bedside light was broken and hanging in position, and the dark switches and electrical sockets were difficult to locate in the poorly lit room. The bathroom also needed attention. The shower curtain looked old and dirty, an old, used-looking toilet brush was prominently visible, and a bathroom assistance handle had apparently broken and been removed rather than repaired or replaced. The pillows had visible stains beneath the clean pillowcases and did not appear to have pillow protectors. They were also extremely flat, and I needed three pillows simply to get reasonable head and neck support. Only six clothes hangers were provided for two people. When this was mentioned to a member of staff, we were told, “You’re lucky to get six; normally you only get three.” Whether intended as humour or not, I did not find this a particularly helpful response. There is no air conditioning. Fans were provided but were noisy. Opening the windows was not a good alternative because of considerable street noise, including people talking and shouting outside. Cigarette smoke from people smoking outside could also drift into the room. We were clearly not the only guests disappointed by the difference between the rooms and the advertised photographs. I personally heard other guests raising the same concern at reception. The response I heard was that the photograph might have been of a different room on a different floor.

El desayuno era estupendo. La ubicación muy bien.

La habitación era muy calurosa y el ventilador no funcionaba. Afortunadamente nos lo cambiaron la segunda noche. Las almohadas son super blanditas y se hunden. Tuve que pedir una extra.

End of bed was a trip hazard, and tv on wall made it awkward to walk past the bottom of the bed. Poor soundproofing between rooms. No glass for drinking water/cleaning teeth in bathroom. Only paper cups coffee.

日本航空おすすめアメニティ充実という広告を見たが、アメニティは何ひとつなかった。何ひとつ！！ エアコンなし、扇風機は首が回らない、涼しくない。 ティッシュもない。これほどのホテルとは思わなかった。

ロケーション。駅から徒歩5分くらいで、重いスーツケース引っ張って行くのも、大して苦労に思いませんでした。

設備が古く、バスルームの扉が勝手に開いたり、バスタブの排水が遅かったり。扇風機は置いてあったので使いましたが、冷房が無かったので、少し暑かったです。

The hotel was walking distance from the central train station. The breakfast was excellent and a rich buffet. The room a bit small but functional and clean also has a boiler with free coffee and tea. The bathroom is renovated and modern.

All good… no complaints.

El desayuno utiza productos de baja calidad. A pesar que nos informaron que no tenían aire acondicionado nos dejaron un aparato tipo ventilador que tiraba aire. Una vergüenza.

チューリッヒ中央駅から近く、スーパーも近いです。

30度前後あるのに、冷蔵庫、エアコン無しは地獄。洗面台の排水溝も詰まってるのかなかなか流れず…フロントに伝えると全ての部屋がそうだと…書き込みしてくれと…扇風機は一応あったけどコントロール効かずとても煩い。壁の一部に穴があり(修繕の為？)配線が沢山見えてて不安になりました。枕もぺったんこで二つ折りにしてなんとか睡眠。照明もくらい。もう2度泊まりたくないです。

Les peits déjeuners inclus en mode buffet étaient bien et nous préparaient pour la journée. Assez de variétè et de qualité.

Pas de climatisation au 5e. La rue reste bruyante jusqu'à tard.

Het ontbijt was zeer goed en het ligt heel dicht bij het station.

Het was ongelooflijk warm op de kamer en er was geen airco. Er zaten grote zwarte haren op de badkamer die niet van ons waren. De kussens waren erg slap.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal, d'autant plus que nous avons voyagé en train.

On voyait toute la poussière autour de l'ascenseur. Les meubles sont vieux et abîmés. Il y avait beaucoup de bruit dans la rue pendant la nuit. A cause de la chaleur, nous étions obligées de laisser la fenêtre ouverte. Nous avons par conséquent mal dormi.

Close to Zurich HB (we caught an early morning train), breakfast included, comfortable beds

Not a lot of space (though we did have an extra bed in the room; would be ok for 2 people). Water in bathroom basin very slow to drain (must be a blockage down the pipe).

The bedding was pretty ordinary. Only one type of pillow and they had no alternatives. We ended up purchasing a pillow for my wife because they didn';t have alternatives The floor covering was peeling up and was a trip hazzard. No refrigerator (just an empty space in the cupboard). The fan smelt when we turned it on so we turned it off straight away; There seemed to be no tower in the bathroom. When checking out, receptionist claimed I hadn't used the switch correctly!

Location was great as it was very close to the station and easy walk into town. Smoking area outside front reception. Decoration in the hotel lobby and hallways were nice.

Arrived 1 hour earlier than check in and was told the room was ready, however was still expected to pay 30 CHF in order to gain access. We paid this, however learnt that the luggage storage is behind the reception which wasn't always manned and so we were glad we paid as we felt leaving it at there would be a risk. Found a luggage storage locker for our departure, this was in Zurich HB for 9 CHF per 6 hours, which was great as our return flight wasn't until late in the day. Breakfast was initially adequate, however we went to breakfast at 8.15 and there were no more croissants left and a limited bread selection. Danish pastries were dense and too heavy for breakfast. Considering breakfast was served until 10.00, to run out of croissants and bread by 8.15 was a shortfall for a 3 star hotel. The hot food selection appeared to be popular, however baked beans/fried rice/scrambled egg/tinned sliced (?) mushrooms did not appeal or seem to be a good combination. Limited meat and cheese choice, however plenty of yoghurt and fruit/cereal were available. The lady overseeing breakfast was lovely, she was friendly and helpful and always greeted us warmly with a smile. TV has cable and satellite channels are supposed to be availablein the room, this wasn't the case in our room. The only channel we could get was Eurosport. Bedding very thin, especially the pillows which seems to be the standard in Switzerland. The room was very darkly decorated so felt a little confined. Bath had no plug and broken handle to get out of. Fairly small lift for the amount of people using it, which could result in a longer wait to access it especially for breakfast. Overall, we were only here for 2 nights and needed an end of trip cheap hotel close to the station, so it fitted our needs. Personally, we would pay the extra for a nicer hotel, however the downsides to the hotel didn't spoil our holiday as the location was what made it suitable.

The location is good. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Breakfast buffet was decent.

The room was too hot. Dyson air cooler was provided but it was way too small for the room and extremely noisy. We were instructed to open our windows but it only provided very little relief. Guests could have been provided with a proper electric fan if air conditiong is not available. Not recommended for people who are too sensitive to hot weather/temperature.

The breakfast staff and cleaning lady were friendly. Great location.

Front staff are not friendly and most of the time you have to wait for someone to show up. No A/C and the fan on our room was broken -garbage. The window white curtains have black stains. The only ventilation was trying to open the window to get some fresh air. The phone in the room was also not even connected and if you have a concern like us you have to go to the front desk to wait for someone to come and then they told us nothing they can help us not even a better fan. Also if you have problems with your back, hips or legs please do not stay here, to get on the bath tub was a challenge because it was really high and nothing to hold onto. We are travelers and have been to many hotels around the world from 2 stars to 5 stars. This hotel was a disappointment, not what we expected in an important city like Zurich. Not recommended it was too much money for the experience.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen. Preis ist vernünftig.

Die Holzmöbel (Kleiderschrank und Pult) sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das könnte man durch eine offene Garderobe und einen einfachen Tisch ohne Schubladen ersetzen. Im 5. Stock war es unterm Dach sehr heiss. 512. Es scheint einen moderneren Teil zu geben.

The location is right next to the train station.

Room falling a part - see the pictures of bathroom and floor. Insufficient air condition so we kept the window open - to be woken up by the cigarette smoke from employees smoking beneath the window. Despite booking for 2 the room was ready for 1 person only. It was one night stay with checkout at 12:00 but the cleaning ladies would knock / enter the room at 9am. The breakfast was ok but the lady preparing the eggs was not.
