Boutique Hotel Weisses Kreuz - Adult only Hotel

Location was excellent. A few minutes walk to train station, boat pier and river. Room was on the small side with a ceiling fan for cooling and ventilation. Breakfast was good with sufficient choices.

No air conditioning. I understand that it is impossible to install AC in a heritage building, but with the summer in Europe getting hotter, a solution is needed.

The location was exceptional, convenient to all the sites.

The room was incredibly small with very low ceilings. My husband had to crouch to take a shower.

The location is a a ten and the staff was great. It's clean and safe there and the room was modern inside while being in a historic district. The breakfast is very good.

Everything is expensive there because of the excellent location.... Switzerland! The room layout was not comfortable because the large bed was very close to the armoire in a very small room and the bathroom was a bit small, as well. The room had very little counter space with one desk covered with the hotel's coffee assortment and coffee maker and cups. etc. Two tiny tables with no counter nor shelves for using the mirror and the squeeze bottles for hand soap were very awkward to use. Free, refillable water is in the 'fridge and the breakfast was pretty good. The toilet paper had a cheap feel to it.

It was terribly noisy all hours of the night from the street and restaurant below. The room was very hot even with the windows opened. The bathroom especially the shower was very small and cramped. The bed was uncomfortable and hardly any room to walk thru at the end of the bed.

Man muss wissen, dass das Parken nur in den umliegenden Parkhäusern (Gehweg ca.8-9 Minuten) möglich und sehr teuer ist (24 Std ca 40 CHF)

It was very hot in the hotel without air conditioning, and the parking was a 10-minute walk away.

The location was perfectly centered downtown Staff were wonderful, kind, and helpful. The breakfast was included and amazing. The barista at breakfast was happy to make us anything we wanted. staff also offered for us to keep our luggage after check out so that we could still have a safe place to keep our suitcases while exploring the city further. We also enjoyed the 10% off for the restaurant next-door that was provided by the hotel as well. :)

The bed could have been more comfortable — A mattress topper could go a long way. Would recommend for guests to bring earplugs & eye mask for sleeping as it gets quite loud being in the heart of downtown Lake Lucerne

Lage sehr zentral, nettes Personal, gibt einen Lift, Pizzeria um Haus ist gut.

Seehr kleines Zimmer, keine Klima (wenn Lift Einbau in historisches Haus möglich war sollte Klima auch gehen), zumindest gibt es guten Deckenventilator, sehr laut bis ca 22:30 und wieder ab 5:00. Frühstücksraum ist leider nicht im netten Lokal sondern in fensterlosem Raum im Souterrain.

Sehr aufmerksames, freundliches Personal.

Bei hohen Außentemperaturen ohne Klimaanlage ist Schlafen schwierig, durch die geöffneten Fenster dringen leider sehr stark die Geräusche der Umgebung ins Zimmer.

Die Lage ist super. Mitten in Luzern. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Zentral gelegene Unterkunft. Sehr sauber allerdings ist die Unterkunft inzwischen in die Jahre gekommen. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit vielen tollen Sachen. Es gab im Zimmer Kaffee, Tee und Wasser zur freien Verfügung. 10 % bei der Pizzeria und bei der Rathaus Brauerei. Lecker selbstgemachtes Bier.

Die Unterkunft ist leider nicht mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet sondern nur mit einem Deckenventilator. Auch das Bad ist viel zu klein. Gefühlte eins , zwei Quadratmeter klein. Man musste den Bauch einziehen um in die Dusche zu kommen. Eckeinstieg wobei die eine Tür an die Toilette stieß und die andere gegen das Waschbecken. Für diese Ausstattung ist diese Unterkunft sehr teuer.

This was a quaint hotel on the Main Street of old town. The staff made us feel at home, very accommodating. Colleen was wonderful, treated us like old friends. The staff went above our expectations, they quickly responded to our needs.

Being an historic hotel, there was no air conditioning. It was very hot during our stay. The staff provided us with an additional fan. Needless to say, we survived. Since we slept with the windows open, we enjoyed the late night clatter of restaurants serving and closing up. Got very quiet after that.

The staff went above and beyond to make our 30th Wedding anniversay trip feel very special. They upgraded our room to a bigger size and left a card. Beautiful room although the bathroom a little tight on size. The two restaurants attached to the hotel are well worth trying and we had excellent food and service in them.

Die Lage war sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Direkt in der Altstadt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und im Restaurant gibt es eine gute Pizza etc.

Leider kann man nicht direkt zum Entladen des Gepäcks mit dem Auto vorfahren. Die Parkhäuser sind fußläufig entfernt.

The weather was very warm during our stay and despite a fan in our room it became very hot during the day as we were on the top floor. Air conditioning would have been very nice.

Snídaně nebyla pestrá, spíš chudá. V mém podkrovním pokoji bylo příliš teplo, nepomohl ani větrák. Otevřeným oknem šel dovnitř kouř z komína /který byl v blízkosti okna/, zřejmě z pece na pizzu přilehlé restaurace. Určitě ne tento podkrovní pokoj!

La posizione e' ottima proprio vicino al famoso ponte e lo staff e' gentilissimo. Purtroppo pero' la sera e la mattina presto le finestre della nostra camera erano su una stradina rumorosissima. La sera per le persone che mangiano e bevono nei locali intorno e la mattina per i ristoranti che trascinano carrelli con fusti di birra e simili per la strada gia' dalle sei di mattina. Inoltre le camere sono veramente molto piccole e senza aria condizionata abbastanza soffocanti nonostante i ventilatori a pale, Comunque noi siamo capitati in un periodo di grande caldo. La colazione e' abbastanza varia

Clean, modern room in a perfect location. Very comfy bed and a ceiling fan to help manage temperature (it was 35 degrees during our stay). Breakfast was included and offered a reasonable selection of items

The en suite is very compact and it was quite difficult to get in and out of the shower.

Nicely appointed boutique in historic building in the heart of Old Town Lucerne. Rooms are quiet, comfortable beds, en suite bathrooms, and they provide a hair dryer. The lighting is on the low side including in the bathroom, so putting on makeup can be a bit of a challenge. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There a wonderful, authentic Italian restaurant in the hotel. And the shopping district is steps away. Would definitely recommend this place and happily stay there again.

Location was difficult to find/get to but right in old town. Room was small but comfortable. Bathroom, especially the shower was very small. Breakfast was a nice touch! Decent selection of dishes and tasty.

Excellent emplacement avec pour corollaire la difficulté d'accès. La carte de visiteur de Lucerne offerte (remise dans les musées, pour les croisières sur le lac, gratuité des transports...) La remise de 10% dans les deux restaurants du groupe.

La mention "parking" dans l'annonce alors qu'il faut aller dans un parking public à 35 francs suisse par jour. La salle du petit déjeuner dont la taille est insuffisante ce qui implique un manque de diversité des produits proposés. De plus le serveur est assez revêche et très bruyant. La réceptionniste qui nous a accueillis était très aimable, ce qui n'était pas le cas les jours suivants. Les salles d'eau sont vraiment exiguës.

Great location in the old town of Lucerne. Easy walk from the train station, very close to Chapel Bridge, the lake and boats. We got an upgrade to our room which was nice.

Great location right in the city center. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a small refrigerator and a coffee machine. Everything was convenient and worked well.

One thing I found unusual: at check-in, the staff asked for my bank card and wrote down the card details. They told me this is a normal practice in Swiss hotels, but after staying in three other hotels in Switzerland, none of them requested this. It felt a bit strange.

Location is perfect. I had read before our trip some reviews where guests complained about too little space in the shower - but it was okay, from our point of view. Breakfast was not excellent, but good enough. Very friendly staff.

Wonderful location, so close to the water and main points of interest. It was tidy and had minimal stairs - we were on the first floor. It was as pictured although our specific room isn’t photographed here.

It was on the smaller size out of all the rooms we’ve stayed, but was still comfortable. There was a coffee machine, but no kettle. The breakfast we also included was as expected, nice coffee and hot chocolate made fresh by barista but otherwise nothing very fancy. It is expensive for what we got, but it’s Switzerland!

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war nicht gut. Im Zimmer kaum Platz zum Laufen. Das Bad war so klein, das ist eine Frechheit - man kann sich kaum drehen, ohne gegen Tür oder Dusche zu stossen. (Idee: Bodengleiche Dusche?). Frühstücksbereich sehr eng mit Stühlen, die es noch enger machen. Da das Geschirr auch dort bearbeitet wurde, war die ganze Zeit Geschirrgeklapper. Offene Fenster nachts sind nicht möglich, da sich Gespräche, Müllabfuhr, Anlieferungen (Lärm) in den Gassen fangen.
