Really close to hbf - you decide if it is a plus, but super convenient to take train. The staff was really good and professional. The breakfast was good quality, many options and tasty.

My room was somewhat small. The pillow was not the best.

Beautful, old style charm

I admit that I became scared when I got two apparently different messages asking me to check-in online. O replied to the first, sent a passport photo and other important information, Then a got a second message, asking me to do the same. I became very afraid that the first message was a fraud! With all the net-crimes going in the world, it felt terrible. Fortunately, it was all right, but I wonder why this had to happen.

Freundlicher Empfang. Ausreichend großes und ruhiges Zimmer. Zentrale Lage.

Sauberkeit im Bad nicht OK, z.B. schmutzige Dusche und Vorhang. Defekter Kühlschrank der Minibar, Zimmerfenster konnte nicht gekippt, sondern nur komplett geöffnet werden. Frühstück mit geringer Auswahl, z.B. kein Obst.

Un poco antiguo pero bien

Room was really clean and had a quaint feel to it. Location is nice (right next to Frankfurt station). Desk and chair available for doing work; closet for hanging clothes. I was fascinated by the European windows.

Wish there was AC but not a deal breaker (there were fans available and the hotel was not super expensive).

O hotel diz ser 4 estrelas no booking.com. mas o hotel no máximo é 1 estrela. O hotel é velho, não tem ar condicionado. As portas do quarto estão empenadas e feichão mal. A porta do WC não fechava, o teto so WC a tinta estava toda a escamar. Ouvíamos barulho vindo do interior do hotel e da rua. Tivemos de dormir de janela aberta porque estava um calor horrivel no quarto, mas ouviamos o barulho todo da rua. Já para não falar que era drougados e sem abrigo aos gritos na rua roda a noite. O Hotel não tem AC o que é inaceitável para um 4 estrelas! Pagamos 750€ por duas noites, um verdadeiro roubo. O booking.com devia ter vergonha e permitir estes ladrões na plataforma!

This hotel located 100 metres from main train station is perfect for business and if you are visiting the exhibition halls, a 15 minute walk. Room was adequate with kettle, complimentary water and fruit. Staff were exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.

Die sehr ruhige und freundliche Atmosphäre im Haus, beim Frühstück und schon beim Empfang.

Eines der beiden Fenster hat nicht dicht geschlossen, deshalb war Straßenlärm hörbar - die Rezeption hat die Rückmeldung sofort aufgenommen.

Keine Air condition in Zimmer, nur einen wackeligen lauten Ventilator. Habe dort nicht übernachten, das Zimmer hatte bestimmt mehr als 30 °C

Sehr schöner Eingangsbereich kostenloser Kaffee und Kuchen ( der allerdings nicht toll war) in der Lobby. Annehmbares Fruehstuecksbueffet.

Die Zimmer sind mit Weitwinkel fotografiert und sehr klein. Das Badezimmer ist extrem rutschig also bitte aufpassen wenn man Probleme mit Gleichgewichtsstörungen hat. Man muss in der Badewanne duschen also bitte aufpassen!!!

This hotel is more than what I expected. I got free water throughout the stay and coffee as well. It is so convenient across from the train station and it took me 12 min to the airport. I will definitely come here and stay again for transit.

The location is perfect. It was an easy trip from the airport and very walkable to the old town to the river and of course, right across the street from the train station. The property is charming. The staff is helpful and kind and the breakfast was magnificent.

Gutes Frühstück, sehr engagiertes Team. Es wurde ständig nachgelegt, so dass das Bufett keine Lücken aufwies. Sehr positiv ist, dass der Inhalt der Minibar inkludiert war ( 4 verschiedene Getränke). Toplage, neben dem Bahnhof. Das Hotel muss einst sehr nobel gewesen sein. Alte Kronleuchter zeugen noch heute vom damaligen Glanz. Obwohl in die Jahre gekommen, waren die Zimmer sauber, zweckmäßig und modern mit Mobilar aus Glas und Chrom gestaltet. Zusätzlich stand im Zimmer, auf Grund des warmen Wetters, ein moderner flügelloser Ventilator.

Gewöhnungsbedürftig war der Checkin, der über Whatsapp erfolgen sollte. Korrekterweise wäre dies besser per Email, wie in anderen Hotels üblich. Auf einen Rückruf über einen Kollegen, welchen KI informieren wollte, warte ich noch heute.

A la habitación le faltaba estantes, cajones o ropero para guardar la ropa u otras cosas, deje las cosas en la valija.

Die Lage direkt am Bahnhof war für mich perfekt.

Es war alles so, wie ich es erwartet habe. Sehr sauber und funktional. Die Bäder sind alt und müssten erneuert werden, aber das ist eine rein kosmetische Angelegenheit. Ich fand das Gesamtangebot an Ausstattung inklusive Bett und funktionierendem TV und Minibar ansonsten vergleichbar mit deutlich teureren Hotels. An dem altehrwürdigem Gebäude erkennt man auch dass Potential, das da schlummert. Es muss zu seiner Zeit mal ein grosszügiges Hotel mit hohem Standard gewesen sein. Nun mangelt es an zeitgemässer Auffrischung, aber alles was man wirklich braucht ist in gutem Standard vorhanden.

Das Frühstück war gut. Zentrale Lage direkt am Bahnhof.

1. Ständige Kontaktierung per e-Mail und What´s App zu Check In und - Out. nerven nur. Bei einem 4-Sterne.Hotel erwarte ich eine besetzte Rezeption, die diese Bürokratie erledigt. Extrem kundenfeindlich. 2. Das Zimmer war ziemlich klein; die Position des Fernsehers war so, dass man vom Bett aus nicht schauen konnte. Man musste einen Hocker ohne Lehne nutzen. In Deutschland sollten die öffentlich-rechtlichen Sender zu empfangensein. Hier leider nicht. 3. Badezimmer: Ein uralter Plastik-Duschvorhang sieht wenig einladend aus ebenso wie ein verrosteter Heizkörper. 4. Der Fußboden war scheinbar nicht richtig gereinigt worden. Ohne Socken konnte man darauf nicht wirklich laufen.. Unangenehmes sandiges Gefühl. 5. Bauarbeiten am frühen Morgen; ist natürlich nicht die Schuld des Hotels.

It looks very nice as you walk in, very well presented.

There was no soap and body lotion in the washroom. The bottles were completely emptied. The person who cleaned the room had obviously didn’t refill them for a long long time!

We arrived early, about 8am following our long flights from Australua, and no one at reception but a lady kindly allowed us to leave our luggage in the baggage room. We came back later to check in and was easy and pleasant. Up to our room, it was clean, but very hot. Location was selected as close to the main rail station.

Room hot and the bladeless fan looked like a cheap one as the air movement was minimal but sounded like a jet engine so made sleep difficult. Next, the small refrigerator didn't work so the drinks were as hot as the room. We were booked here for a couple of nights for our return flights but have changed to another hotel.

Meeldis, et vannitoas kasutatakse väga kvaliteetse kosmeetikafirma tooteid. Iga päev lisati külmikusse tasuta vett ja õlut. Hommikusöök on korralik ja hea valikuga. Linna süda ja peamine ostutänav jäävad jalutuskäigu kaugusele hotellist.

Aknast avanes vaade ssisehoove, tänu sellele oli seal vaikne, kuid aknalauad võinuks tuvide väljaheidetest puhtaks teha. Need reisijad, keda häirivad raudteejaama ümbruses tiirlevad kodutud ja kerjused, võivad küll ehmuda, kuid lõpuks loeb ideaalne asukoht.

Das Personal

Die Unterkunft sieht kaum aus wie auf den Bildern. Als ich ankam, war ein paar vor mir, dass sich über ihr Zimmer beschwert hat und meinte es sieht nicht aus wie dass was sie gebucht haben. Darauf hin bekamen sie ein neues Zimmer. In der Hoffnung, dass es bei mir keine Probleme gibt checkte ich ein und guckte das Zimmer an. Es war nicht das was ich erwartet habe. Darauf habe ich mich auch bei der Rezeption gemeldet die super freundlich und zuvorkommend war. Sie gab mir ein neues Zimmer, in diesem Zimmer roch es allerdings nach Abfluss aus dem Bad dessen Tür ich auch nicht richtig zu machen konnte wodurch das ganze Zimmer danach roch. So richtig sauber hat es sich auch nicht angefühlt und es sieht nicht aus wie auf den Fotos. Man hat zwei Einganstüren welche jedoch beide nutzlos sind da man alles auf dem Flur trotzdem hört. Die Aussicht ist auch schrecklich auf eine Baustelle gewesen. Ich bin danach wieder runter zur Rezeption und meinte ich werde auschecken und mir ein anderes Hotel suchen. Der netten Dame am Empfang tat es unglaublich leid, was mir wiederum für sie leid tat. Sie bat mir dann auch an noch ein anderes Zimmer anzuschauen aber ich lehnte dankend ab.

Ab 7:00 Uhr sind im Innenhof Bauarbeiten, und es wird ein bisschen laut

Kostenlose Getränke Kostenlos Kaffee und Tee Ein schönes, älteres Hotel mit bemühten Mitarbeitern. Alles ganz authentisch.

Jungendstilflair, geschmackvolle Einrichtung

Das Online Ein-und Auschecken und die "Stör mich nicht"-Haltung am Empfang. Alles andere war positiv.

Das Zimmer war für die Familie gut und der Platz ausreichend. Es war schön eingerichtet und gemütlich. Die minibar war überschaubar aber trotzdem gut und ausreichend. Das Frühstück hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und es gab eine große Auswahl. Das Personal war auch sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Lage neben dem Bahnhof war auch gut. Getränke, und Kuchen an der Rezeption am Nachmittag waren auch eine tolle Geste.

Die Aussicht in unserem Zimmer war nicht so schön.

O hotel é lindo e a localização é ótima, mas não tem ar condicionado e nos dias que ficamos hospedadas, estava 39/40 graus e dentro do quarto ficou como uma sauna, tava mais calor dentro do que fora, tinha um ventilador que não ajudou em nada.

Comfortable room with decent airconditioning given the summer warmth and good bathroom - with a bath (which makes a nice change). Liked the welcoming sitting room downstairs with free food and drinks available during the day. Good breakfast. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

The hotel has a certain faded grandeur and not a great part of town but still very welcoming and usefully close to the station.

Location was easy to the train station, but if I’d have known the neighbourhood was so dingy, I’d have chosen somewhere else.

Not enough pillows, no A/C, nothing out at breakfast, it felt like you had to search for staff sometimes.

Breakfast

The breakfast was very basic and the hot food was lukewarm. The location was in the red light area! My room was near a nightclub with banging music until after 2.00am every night impossible to sleep before then. There was a bar in reception but never opened! The towels in room were changed every day, however, my room was only cleaned once! All in all not a pleasant experience, probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed in!

Easy to find and close to main central train station. Free tea, coffee, snacks during day. Nice clean rooms. Good wifi.

No aircon but pedestal fans provided and we were there on a hot day (38 degrees) so was a little bit uncomfortable sleeping at night but not the hotels fault!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. A fan was provided without asking and breakfast started early which was really useful. The free mini bar was also a nice touch.

The first night there was noise from an event which was outside of the hotel, but there was nothing more the hotel itself could have done.

Dagen bezig geweest om in contact te komen met het hotel of wij een dag eerder konden komen. Reageren niet op Booking.com, mail en telefonisch niet bereikbaar. Maar wel mailtjes sturen dat we moeten inchecken. Mede hierom en de reviews besloten hier niet te verblijven en hotel ergens anders in Frankfurt te boeken voor een overnachting en daarna eerder naar huis. Om dan mails te ontvangen dat ik niet moet vergeten uit te checken. Jammer van de gemaakte kosten, maar dat nemen we voor lief.
