Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The hosts were so lovely - they really wanted to ensure we felt taken care of. The rooms were also cleaned daily and totally immaculate. The star of the show is Katie the head chef, such a talent!
For me, this is purely personal. I found the mattress a bit too firm for my liking.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026What can i say about this place, everything is perfect. The room is beautifully decorated t,he bed is veery comfortable and fully air-conditioned. The location is amazing for trips around Tuscany. The garden and swimming pool are very well taken care and give you a great opportunity to relax..Parking right in front As for Filippo and the team thar runs the place, they are kind, giving and helpful. We spent Feragosto there and they prepared Merenda ( which is something like an afternoon brunch), offered to all the people that were present at themoment, making us feel like we are surrounded by friends and family. I loved it and i definitely ĺ recommend it!

Possibilità di cenare da loro (tutto buono e porzioni abbondanti) Katia insuperabile, Filippo davvero gentile!

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Alles is uiterst proper, de locatie is ideaal en je krijgt heel wat informatie over de streek. De kamer is ruim en praktisch voorzien van voldoende kastruimte en een kleine koelkast. De badkamer wordt dagelijks gepoetst en is echt kraaknet. Het ontbijt is heel verzorgd en wordt aangeboden door een heel enthousiaste Katia. Het restaurant bij deze B&B is trouwens ook een aanrader, reserveren is wel noodzakelijk in het hoogseizoen.
Wij hadden wat last van de harde matras maar dit is werkelijk het enige minpunt.

Le gite fut une nouvelle fois le point de départ idéal pour poursuivre notre découverte de la Toscane. Le personnel est très agréable et efficace. Les chambres sont très propres ainsi que tout le matériel fourni ainsi que les serviettes. Le restaurant Borgo Antico attenant au gite est chaleureux et propose une cuisine traditionnelle avec des plats généreux. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. Nous avons très apprécié la qualité des excellents plats mais également le service. Le petit déjeuner est varié, servi dans une ambiance familiale. Bref, l'endroit est parfait et nous le recommandons fortement.
Il manque un petit bureau dans la chambre.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub in diesem kleinen, familiär geführten Hotel. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Frühstück war liebevoll zubereitet und das Abendessen war jeden Tag ein Highlight. Alle Speisen wurden frisch zubereitet und haben hervorragend geschmeckt. Man hat die Qualität und die Leidenschaft in jeder Mahlzeit gespürt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Herzlichkeit des gesamten Teams. Alle waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und vor allem sehr kinderlieb. Unser Sohn hat sich rundum wohlgefühlt, was den Urlaub für uns als Familie noch entspannter machte. Das gesamte Hotel war außergewöhnlich sauber und gepflegt. Der Pool ebenfalls sauber und eine tolle Abkühlung an den warmen Tagen. Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass das Hotel klein und familiär ist. Es war kein typischer Touristenurlaub mit großen Hotelanlagen und Massenbetrieb. Stattdessen konnten wir die italienische Gastfreundschaft und Kultur hautnah erleben.

Per le intolleranze alimentari, nello specifico glutine e lattosio, non ci hanno fatto mancare nulla proponendoci ogni giorno alternative fatte in casa. Consigliatissimo sia per coppie che per famiglie. Torneremo sicuramente.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Mooie, rustige, goed gelegen, schone B&B met super aardige host, Filippo. Altijd in voor een praatje en hij weet alles over de omgeving. Kamer was super, bed voor mij persoonlijk wat hard maar werd direct opgelost met een topper. De vriendelijkheid van het personeel! Op loopafstand van het dorpje en zeer centraal gelegen voor uitstapjes (alles op max half uurtje rijden). Het ontbijt was fantastisch, enorme keuze aan versgebakken taarten van Katia. Het restaurant wat bij de B&B hoort (Borgo Antico) is ook super. Je zit er heerlijk, het eten is super en gastvrouw Katia en haar collega maken er altijd een feestje van. Haar Buongiorno in de morgen zal ik niet snel vergeten:) Daarbij is er een heerlijk zwembad waarbij je met je ligbedje onder de bomen heerlijk kan relaxen.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026Beautiful place in a beautiful location (also strategically placed between Florence and Siena, if you have a car) with everything that you need to enjoy your stay in the region. Stayed with my family for 6 days and enjoyed every day the gorgeous breakfast, the pool and the short and easy trips to different Tuscany highlights. The place is very well maintained and just feels right without any unnecessary fancy perks. The owners Katia and Filippo make you feel very comfortable, as if in a familiar homy surrounding. The restaurant ran by Katia is indeed to be recommended as well.
Not really a critic, as this is what it is, but since our room was looking at the street (which does get some traffic from early on in the morning), it is either quite noisy, or if you close the window (which is than fine for the noise), becomes really warm and you may have to sleep with the A/C on.

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026Hier war alles perfekt. Sehr nette Gastgeber auch im angebundenen Restaurant. Frühstück und Abendessen ließen keine Wünsche offen. Sehr ruhig, maximal gepflegte Anlage. Garten und Poolanlage genauso gepflegt wie die Zimmer. Idealer Standort um die Toscana zu erkunden.

Bij de accommodatie bevindt zich een goed restaurant; reserveren is aan te raden, want ook de lokale bevolking weet het goed te vinden. Het zwembad is heerlijk schoon en er zijn voldoende ligstoelen voor alle gasten. De auto kan veilig worden geparkeerd op het afgesloten terrein, waar ook schaduwplekken beschikbaar zijn. De kamer wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt en om de drie dagen voorzien van schone handdoeken. De ligging is ideaal: op slechts 7 minuten rijden van Pisa en ongeveer een half uur van Lucca.

Bodenständig, riesige Portionen! Die Hotelleitung war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, organisierte für uns Taxi, da öffentlicher Nahverkehr nicht vorhanden war.
War alles gut, es gibt nichts Negatives zu sagen
