No AC in August was a killer, impossible to sleep, enquired about rental at reception, no joy, although both neighbours got units. The room had a ceiling fan but didn't do a huge amount. Also, I put towels down early one day, came back after a walk, found them removed and thrown in a pile on a rock. A couple of others seemed to be too. From then on, didn't "reserve" beds but found the rest of the complex and guests seemed to have free reign to do this, came out at 9 some mornings and found no beds available. So, no consistency!

We were in an excellent location, the apartment had 2 balconies which was excellent

Shame there was no air-con. Fans were provided but air con would have been better

Stayed there with my family recently apartment was lovely and very clean however the reservation of sun beds was ridiculous up to ten sun beds reserved in morning and people not using them till late afternoon pool area is beautiful but unfortunately we didn’t get much of a chance to get to use the facility

All excellent in relation to accommodation, staff, amenities

Stayed for a week June 13th to 20th( still here actually). Fabulous holiday. From start to finish staff were helpful and attentive. Claudia on reception was so pleasant and apologetic as Wi-Fi down so delay getting passports back but checked in as soon as we arrived , an hour ahead of advertised time. Rooms 228 and 229 overlooking pool, as requested. Rooms were so clean and had everything we wanted. We had 2 fans as these rooms don’t have aircon or ceiling fans as yet. Perfect to keep living room and bedroom cool. Kitchen had utensils, pots and pans as well as microwave and hob. Also products for washing up and cleaning supplied. Not much storage but enough space for us as we like to eat out. Bathrooms were a great size with shampoo, shower gel and soap included. Towels regularly changed and bed linen was spotless. Never saw any cockroaches at all. Only gripe about balconies would be the paint peeling and the keys often got stuck in the outer gate door, but that was only on occasion. We tried the food at the snack bar and were really happy with pizza, burgers and breakfast. The reception area, restaurant and gym are all beautiful and decorated to a really high standard but the only downside for me was the sunbeds and outer edges of the pool area. As the hotel does not stack the beds at the end of the day (great really as absolutely no issues or queues for beds on a morning), but they could be power washed while stacked as well as the floor tiles. This is not a major thing and would not let this put me off coming here in the future. This is the 3rd time I’ve been here and certainly not the last. There’s renovations going on at the moment but have not bothered anyone by the looks of it. The work doesn’t seem to start till about 7.45am and we always up by then. Gardens and trees were maintained while we were there but again not in anyone’s way. Pool was busy as hotel full but never struggled for a bed as no one out at silly times reserving them. Such a lovely, chilled holiday. Highly recommend to couples or families 🤩

The apsrtment was amazing for the price we paid. It was only a few minutes walk down hill to get the main bar area.

The only gripe is, there was no extractor fan in the bathroom. It took forever to clear the steam.

El principal problema fueron las cucarachas, estar tan tranquila en el sofá viendo la tele y ver cucarachas andando por tus piernas fue lo más desagradable. Lo tuvimos que desmontar y solo en el sofá nos encontramos seis. Pedimos un cambio de habitación para una superior y nos lo dieron al siguiente día, pero pasa lo mismo, sabemos que es algo habitual con el clima porque las hay y salen por las noches, pero el problema son las instalaciones dado que se colan por cualquier sitio porque las puertas son de madera muy viejas, deterioradas y tienen muchos huecos por el que puede pasar cualquier bicho. Si saben que es algo habitual es tan simple como poner solución. No recomendaría coger ni desayuno, muy poca variedad, es los hoteles con menos calidad que me he encontrado. Algo que no nos gustó es que la piscina cerraba a las 18:00, era pequeñita pero estaba bien.

I flipped my mattress after two nights as it felt like there was a depression not to my body in the middle of it which left me aching. The other side was much better.

Only stayed one night so very short and sweet but found it to be very clean. Bed was comfy. Shower was great. Lovely little pool bar and lots of seating available around the pool. Receptionist very friendly and helpful and would definitely stay here again.

Returned home from a week's stay here a couple of days ago. We had a fab stay, apartment was very clean and well presented with everything required for a relaxing stay, kitchenette just big enough to prepare simple meals, the microwave with built in convector and grill, although small, was a great addition. Beds were very comfy. Pool are was lovely, lots of sun beds!! There is some work being done at the hotel at present and there was some intermittent noise during the day but this did not affect our stay, if you are likely to be disturbed by such noise maybe take some earplugs rather than look elsewhere. Location is great, Spar a couple of minutes walk away and larger supermarket in shopping centre abour 5 mins down the hill. There are lifts in the shopping centre you can use to get down to the beach front level, or there are steps behind the shopping centre. Easy walking distance to the harbour too. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Free Locked baggage store and showers available if you are travelling home late in the day.

worst holiday experiance ever room 142 cockroaches everywhere in cupboards clothes drawers cuttlery cupboards bathroom killed 200 cockroaches in that room the final straw came when while in bed the wife woke up with one next to her face on her pillow the receptionist/ manager says they come from the garden which is nonsense they were small and had hatched in the room we moved that night at 12pm in to room 141 for the last 4 days were i killed another 50 bigger cockroaches worst 2 weeks holiday we ve ever had

I could list endless brilltant qualities about this hotel, location, service, food, atomosphere, apartments, the other guests, mini fitness suite, security, blah blah blah, but if the only minor inconveniences we had were that the shower fitting was loose and the fridge smelt a little funky, o and quite cloudy the first 3 days then I think that speaks for itself, have to see this hotel to believe it, value for money is an understatement!!! PERFECT AND WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR!!!!

Lovely peaceful aparthotel, within a 5 minute walk from the strip. Nice pool bar with a good selection of food. Very friendly helpful staff. Apartments are spacious with all you need.

Just arrived back home yesterday from our stay 1 week stay at Lomo Blanco staying in 1 bedroom apartment in A block on ground floor. As soon as we arrived we where felt very welcomed by receptionist. Once in our room we were very impressed with the accommodation, all rooms where very clean & tidy, Beds very comfortable, plenty of storage space for clothes, ceiling fans in the living room & the bedroom which we only used the first couple of days. We didn't really use the pool as the weather wasn't great which is just one of those things. We've booked again for April next year for 2 weeks before we even left going s/c, see you all soon. Just back from a week at HG Lomo Blanco, Nice , Friendly and Clean, Had breakfast every morning, no complaints there, no problem getting sun beds, everything in walking distance…. Spar and Lidl 10 mins away, Apartment clean and beds super comfy! Had a little outside terrace but no view, not really a self catering place as kitchen not really equipped, microwave meals only really…. But if you can eat out it’s fine, ate at restaurant on site, very tasty! No real complaints, a good value for money stay with friendly staff 😊

Lovely little complex, with apartments around a central pool area. We stayed in block A. 110 - Ground floor with our own terrace area. Couldn’t fault the accommodation. Spacious & facilities as needed. Works being done on block B at present were out of sight & caused no disruption to our stay. We chose to stay around the pool most days - water cool on entry but soon acclimatised. Great little pool side snack bar. All staff friendly & helpful. Location excellent - away from any noise. 10 or so minutes one way to harbour & same other way to strip. Turn left outside and past parked cars opposite to find staggered steps to strip. Turn right outside, then left and down to multi storey, enter car park & go through to lifts down to supermarket & strip area. Alternatively a Spar nearby also. Would recommend for a nice little get away!

Bathroom smelled musty

After feeling a bit apprehensive, I emailed the hotel with a few requests, which they did their best to accommodate. I was given apartment 214, upstairs as requested. However, traffic noise from lorries and buses does start around 6:30am (not the hotel’s fault). Upon arrival, we were checked in by very helpful staff. The safe cost €20 for the week, with €6 refunded at the end of the stay. Apartment: We had a one-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed and an additional separate bed next to the sofa for the two kids. The apartment was clean, and housekeeping did a great job, providing plenty of towels. A couple of minor issues to note: there were only three knives in the cutlery drawer, and there was a distinct lack of working plug sockets. None in the bedroom worked, and we only had one in the bathroom and two in the kitchen. We managed by charging devices at different times, so didn’t feel the need to raise it. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms, but two fans were provided (we didn’t use them). A top tip: close the curtains when leaving the apartment to keep it cool. The blackout wooden shutters in the bedroom were excellent, making the room completely dark even during the day. Pool area: The pool area was great. There was a lifeguard on duty during the day who allowed the kids to enjoy themselves with inflatables and pool toys. Staff regularly checked water levels and cleaned the pool and surrounding area every morning, which was impressive. One negative that does need addressing: the pool bar doesn’t display prices for food like pizzas and burgers, and we were charged different amounts for the same items on different days. Inside the hotel, the toilets and bar area had been newly refurbished and were spotless. Location: For me, the hotel is in a brilliant location. You can head right towards the harbour or left towards the main strip. It is up a hill if coming back from the main strip, but if you return via the harbour and come back past Biosphere, it’s mostly flat. A useful tip: if you want to avoid the hill, go into the SOCO Centre. Next to Mercadona, there are three lifts. Take one to level 3, walk through the car park, and you’ll come out onto a very gentle slope (about 80m), which most people should find manageable. Mercadona, Spar, and Lidl are all within a five-minute walk for essentials. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. During our stay, upgrades were taking place in apartment block B, including refurbishment and installation of air conditioning. Despite this, there was very little noise or disruption. Overall: Would I stay here again? Absolutely yes. Great staff and a great location

Room was dated and dirty! Disgusting. Snot and other dirt up bathroom wall, showers full of mould, ceiling drips. Room fans absolutely full of dust! Self catering facilities were awful. Third pool closed during our stay and no one told us. Playground closed. Laundrette closed. Not informed of this. Not heated pools. Building work throughout the day. Not informed of this. Rude workmen too.

Al arribar ens vam adonar que al lavabo hi havia una fuita d'aigua, al trepitjar el terra laminat sobreeixia aigua entre les juntes. Ben aviat ens vam adonar que era degut al "sifó" del bidet i el segon dia al matí vam demanar que ho reparessin. Vam haver d'insistir dos cop més. Una altra queixa que vam transmetre a la recepció del Hotel va ser sobre la cuina. La cuina, al ser d'inducció, només funcionava si el parament de cuina (olles, paelles, etc.) ocupava la totalitat de la superfície de cocció i això només passava amb un dels dos focs. Resultat, vam estar cuinant tota una setmana amb un únic foc. La resposta del Hotel va ser que coneixien l'inconvenient, que havia estat un error de disseny. No van posar-hi remei. La neteja? En cara estem esperant que la noia de la neteja s'aclareixi sobre que és el que ha de fer: Fer els llits? canviar els llençols? escombrar? no ho sabem nosaltres però ella tampoc.

We had a lovely stay at the HG Lomo Blanco hotel. The location was excellent, near the main beach, Playa Chica, the old town harbour and Biosfera all within close walking distance. We had a great 2 bedroomed apartment (room 133) which got the sun on the terrace from around 3.30pm everyday so you could sit out in the evening. Check in with very fast with Claudia and the rooms were kept nice and clean. We didn't have an issue with the sunbeds but we could see alot were reserved early in the day and then not used until later in the afternoon. Would definitely stay again.

Geräumiges Appartement mit guter Ausstattung. Gute Betten. Küche mit knapper Ausstattung, aber für 2 Leute OK. Balkon zum Pool. Trotzdem ruhig. Pools sauber und angemessen beheizt. Überhaupt ist die ganze Anlage sehr schön und gepflegt, viel Personal kümmert sich! Sehr freundliches Team an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück. Das Frühstück ist fair bepreist, allerdings etwas am Geschmack der vielen englischen und irischen Gäste orientiert.. Lage prima etwas oberhalb des Strandes / Zetrums, aber alles, was man braucht, ist fußläufig erreichbar (Restaurants, Supermärkte, Bushaltestellen). Parkplätze gibt's eigentlich immer direkt an der Anlage - nur am St. Patrick's Day war alles zugeparkt :-)..

Das WLAN ist echt schwach. Wenig Bandbreite und häufige Ausfälle.

Le petit déjeuner n'est pas correct par rapport au prix, si nous avions su nous aurions pris le petit déjeuner dans notre appartement en achetant les produits. Un choix très limité : les viennoiseries pas bonnes, idem le pain, fruits en conserve avec un gout de fer ! (sauf pomme, orange et parfois banane... en quantité limitée), pas de fruits secs, jus de fruit chimique... Le ménage commence dès 8h, femmes de ménage qui tirent des lits et chaises, et se parlent à distance dans les couloirs, donc du bruit ... Beaucoup de résidents parlent très fort...

We are here now day 5 of 7, location is the best, everything is close by, bars restaurants, beach, old town & harbour Apartments are large with separate bedroom & comfy beds, clean enough I suppose if you looked closely you could find faults! Shower brilliant, large balcony & kitchen with enough appliances to cook toasties for breakfast, Our room overlooks the front of the hotel, is still very quiet, no noise at night No air con, can imagine it’s unbearable in the summer months Only one mirror in the bathroom, need two to be able to get ready at night All staff are friendly, pool & bar area are clean We haven’t eaten at the hotel therefore unable to comment. The biggest disappointment is the sunbed situation, there are signs not to reserve but every bed is reserved by 10.30!! With very few actually occupied In fact I have noticed quite a few where they haven’t been used all day. We have gone to the beach in stead, hired beds which cost 10 euros, then spent another 40-50 euros on food & drinks while there, I don’t mind but this money would have been spent at the hotel if I could get a bed !! Apart from this we have enjoyed our stay here

We are leaving today but have had a fabulous week at these lovely apartments. Lovely pool area and snack bar , clean spacious apartments with everything you need. Fantastic location for the old town and the beach and main strip. Very friendly and helpful staff we will definitely return. 😁

The complex is fabulous, 2 pools, loads of sunbeds, lovely pool bar serving food all day. The apartment was clean and comfortable with nice terrace which got the sun all day. The only thing missing was an iron which can be gotten from reception for a refundable deposit. The best thing about Lomo Blanco is the staff - the pool bar and bar staff especially were outstanding, so friendly and helpful and fun, nothing was too much trouble even when they were super-busy and under pressure. Location is about 6 minutes walk from the main strip and the same to the old town, and about 15 mins by car from the airport.

No negative feedback! One slight issue was that we had booked for 3 people (late addition of third person but this was requested and confirmed 2 months earlier) but the extra bed and extra towels were not there at first and had to be requested. It was resolved very quickly and no issues, but it might be good to check that any extras needed are in place before arrival.

The location is fantastic and the staff friendly. The rooms were clean and the whole apartment was rather comfortable.

The lack of window in the bathroom made it smelly (humidity) and the walls are quite thin. Besides, the kettle wasn't spotless

We have just returned from a week stay here. Everything about the apartments were perfect. The location is great, close to the strip and supermarket. The apartments themselves had everything we needed for an enjoyable self catering holiday. The room overlooked the pool and was clean and spacious. The beds were super comfortable. The staff are lovely, so helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. We booked to return whilst waiting to drop our cases off at the airport! We will request the same room if it’s available as we loved it. Thank you all for a wonderful week.

This place is absolutely stunning. The apartments are lovely with everything you need. Two beautiful pools and a lovely bar and restaurant. Not a long walk to the strip and everything you need nearby. I would definitely go back

Had to wait til after 3pm for room to be ready for us... Very steep hill to get to hotel from Puerto del Carmen Centre Balcony in our room facing into pool and not private as many ballconies in square formation face into pool..so overlooked We only stayed for a night in Puerto del carmen.... Lighting not great for make up

Myself and my daughter booked the HG Lomo Blanco for a four night stay during the mid-term break. One of the main reasons we chose these apartments was due to the very good cleanliness standards it was said to have. We had requested one of the renovated apartments in Block B if possible but we weren't allocated one of these and I understand that all requests cannot be fulfilled especially during the busier periods. The apartment we were assigned hadn't been cleaned properly and the sofa had no covers on the foam. I had to ask for the floors to be cleaned, but they only swept them until I specified that they needed to be mopped also. The covers that they put on the sofa were still damp. So after all this, I insisted on being moved to a different apartment and they gave me one in block B and this apartment was much brighter and cleaner and nearer to what I had been expecting. This complex is in an excellent location near the shopping centre and between the old town, but I cannot recommend it due to the unfortunate and stressful experience I had at the start of the stay.

Nice location,close to beach and both the old town and new town,pool area is well looked after and communal areas are generally clean and well maintained.The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We were staying in room 145 which turned out is adjacent to where cleaners and staff have a store room,the bedroom window is beside where they are talking and sorting bins in the morning also there is bins out on the road that a truck emtpys in the morning creating a good bit of noise too.We were offered to change rooms on the sixth day but as we were only staying for 7 nights we decided to stick with it.Overall it's a very good place to stay just I wouldn't like to be located in the same area again as it can be noisy in the morning.

Fabulous place. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The pools were clean, lots of sunbeds and pool bar nearby. Breakfast was excellent and good value. The staff were friendly and helpful. The apartments were fairly central although the walk back up from the beach is not for the faint hearted! There is a lift taking you down to the mall which is useful.

Location was good, few minutes walk down to the seafront and 4 euro taxi ride back up. Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, pool bar, plenty of sun beds and clean surroundings. Two bedroom apartment was spacious with space to cook if needed, large comfy beds, and nice large shower room. Seating inside for dining and balcony with table and chairs. Really good value for money and I would return.

Hi all at Lomo blanco, I stay at this hotel every year we been coming here for around 10years staff at hotel are lovely, ladies at reception are also lovely and very helpful. The grounds are kept lovely we just returned from there Jan 2026, but I did notice that the paint work on the skirting boards need refreshing up and the fridge in room 306 need replacing as the front of the plastic is stained and looks very unpleasant the sink in the bathroom had a screw missing which held it up and the side of the fridge and side of sink was full of crumbs and crackers. I’m sorry I’m having to write this review, I’m hoping this will be sorted out for my next return.

Lovely well maintained apartments which were cleaned regularly during our 7 day stay. We stayed in a lower ground floor apartment which was ideal as my husband is on crutches. I would highly recommend a stay here.

A lovely 3* , check in was quick and easy our apartment simple to find beds set up for children in front room ready to go! Room could be improved dust and paint flaking but it does the job. Have to say the shower was amazing! Room self catering toastie machine kettle fridge freezer and microwave oven combi , only thing we would want is bigger cups but that’s just preference. Location good 5 min walk down to main strip lots of restaurants within walking distance & the beach! Lidl 10 min walk spar 3/4 mins away! There’s no air con in room 2 big fans in ceiling it does get hot! The hotel has 3 pools one a baby pool not massive but they feel slightly heated and there’s a little play park for kids. There is no sunbed wars at all plenty available throughout the day! (We came feb half term) The hotel seems to have been newly renovated the reception bar area and lounge are new and welcoming. There is a big book swap area like a mini library! There is a restaurant on site (we haven’t used) and bar in day which serves food drink and icecream We had entertainment on a 2 nights of our stay karaoke and singer but other than music round the pool it’s pretty chill (I knew this on booking) There is a mini gym and shower room to use before you leave WiFi not very good intermittent worked first day around the pool most the time but not in bedroom got worse as the week went on! All staff we’ve met have been lovely rooms cleaned daily (except Monday) Easy to change £ to € in town good exchange rate when we were there to! If there’s availability you can keep your room on day of check out for €10 per hour All in all great location well priced and would return for another cheap & cheerful sun break it was exactly what we wanted for a break away from the English weather!

This is the Second time we had stopped here and disappointed with the noise levels day around pool area. There were children running in and out of sun beds all day shouting and screaming along with their parents who shouted too. It was not a relaxing area to sit or swim. It clearly stated no inflatables , balls or diving in the pool. At one time there was 7 inflatables and 5 balls in the pool which made it impossible to swim. Then children constantly jumping and diving into the pool No staff member said anything??? My husband went back to our room for a sleep as he felt unwell and couldn’t sleep because of the noise. I had booked to return next year but will be changing hotels to adult only as this hotel is not for people who want a relaxing holiday.

Lovely Apartments,well maintained and cleaned regularly during our 7 day stay. Staff extremely helpful, polite and hard working. Was so impressed with our stay we have booked again for our 30th wedding anniversary in September. Ideally situated in Puerto del carmen close to Central part of both old town and new town. We stopped in a lower ground floor apartment which is ideal for those with mobility issues. Would highly recommend a stay here.We travelled with Jet 2 and will definitely be back.

Very disappointing stay first and last time to stay here. There was mould on the wall underneath the window in the bedroom and a smell of must in the bedroom. Both myself and my husband ended up going to a doctor and we are now back home and still sick. Breakfast was very disappointing too. Would not be recommending this place to anyone else.
