Hotel Vecellio Venice on the Lagoon

La ubicación, aunque no está muy cerca de la plaza de San Marcos (15- 20 minutos andando), es perfecto para llegar desde el aeropuerto ya que el vaporeto te deja en la puerta del hotel. Personal muy amable y atentos. Zona tranquila.

Baño excesivamente pequeño. Nos tocó una habitación sin vistas, la ventana daba a una pequeña calle muy estrecha.

El hotel tiene una ubicacion fatastica, llegamos en barco directamente desde el aeropuero Marco Polo , y el hotel esta situado justo enfrente , ademas tambien coges los barcos para visitar Murano, Burano y para ir directamenta a la vueta a la Plaza de Roma, el ambiente de la zona es super tranquilo , menos turistico si cabe y con un ambiente fantastico, las personas del hotel super encantadoras , el desayuno esta genial , anotas en un papel todo lo que quieres y te lo preparan a la mañana, o te lo llevan a la habitación si quieres , hay bastante variedad y cantidad El hotel es pequeño y la habitación tampoco es muy grande pero la cama es comoda El precio es un poco elevado pero he ido en fechas del festival de cine e imagino que eso subira el precio , por lo demas la verdad es que repetiria sin dudarlo

The room service for breakfast was brilliant- a good choice & delivered at the time we wanted. Ideal location for the ferry to the airport. Staff were friendly & helpful. Room was a good size & had a decent shower with basic toiletries provided.

Absolutely the best hotel in Venice old town, nice cozy little hotel, with significant staff, all of them are kind and nice. Personally I want to say thanks for the room service breakfast. It was on time and delicious. Thanks !

There was an issue with a sink. Couldnt use it for a few days while they fixed it. Its ok, they tried to solve the problem as soon as possible.

Cameră superbă cu vedere la lagună. Te poți bucura de un răsărit superb direct din pat. În fața hotelului este o stație de transport public de unde poți pleca oriunde vrei. În centru ajungi lejer și pe jos. Personalul este foarte amabil și micul dejun este divers și gustos.

Het vriendelijke personeel, check in/out was relaxed en het ontbijt is erg goed. Je mag ontbijt kiezen van een menu en de volgende ochtend kun je het op de kamer opeten of beneden in de ontbijthoek. Alles voelt knus en verzorgd met liefde.

Het blijft Venetië dus bereid je voor op een wat krappe badkamer.

Przytulny nieduży hotel, miły personel, lokalizacja tuż przy przystanku tramwajów wodnych, ładny wystrój, czysto, dobre oświetlenie w pokoju i łazience (zwłaszcza), smaczne i starannie przyrządzone śniadania w miłej atmosferze

Jednej nocy próbowaliśmy spać przy otwartych oknach, bez klimatyzacji, i to był błąd - straszny hałas od ruchu transportu wodnego. Także lepiej nie próbować, zamknąć na noc okna i ustawić klimatyzację na odpowiednią moc i temperaturę 🙂

The property is located on the lagoon on the north of the island in front of a vaporetto station. It is wonderfully located and quiet. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were amazing and friendly and so helpful. Our room overlooked the lagoon so it was amazing to wake up to and the breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We would certainly stay here again.

It felt a bit dated and run down. However, for us this added to its charm.

L’hotel è in un ottima posizione, ottimo il servizio in camera con una colazione varia per tutte le esigenze. L’accoglienza è stata fantastica e la cosa migliore della stanza era sicuramente il letto comodissimo. Se dovessi mai ritornare a Venezia sicuramente sceglierei dinuovo questo hotel.

Posizione fantastica sull’isola di Venezia, soprattutto se si vogliono visitare le altre isole: la fermata del vaporetto è proprio sotto l’hotel. Comodissimo!

What a quaint authentic little place! So much character and in a great position. Water bus stop right at the door and walking distance to most of the major sites. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

The only downside was the small shower and the dodgy shower door.

Tyst rum, underbar frukost, trevlig personal och väldigt bra beläget. Hotellet hade endast 8 rum och entrén till hotellet var precis vid båtbryggorna för att extremt lätt ta sig till flygplatsen eller till andra öar runt omkring. Frukost på a la carte, man fyllde i en lapp med olika alternativ kvällen innan på vad man ville ha så fixades allt till morgonen, fem minuters väntan så var allt serverat vid bordet. Rekommenderar varmt detta hotell, som hade AC på rummet som gjorde att temperaturen var precis som man ville ha den.

Allt var toppen!

En general me gustó todo bastante. Además puedes pedir que te lleven el desayuno a la habitación. Las trabajadoras son encantadoras, la habitación estaba muy bien y las vistas a la laguna son inmejorables.

Por poner un pero la ducha era un poco pequeña, pero todo lo demás lo compensaba.

El hotel en general está muy bien. La ubicación genial, el vaporeto para justo en la puerta. No está en el centro, pero dando un paseo se va perfectamente. La habitación muy bien, cama cómoda. Desde la ventana veíamos pasar los barcos. La zona tiene mucho tránsito de gente, pero no nos ha molestado para dormir. El desayuno también genial, hecho en el momento. Repetiría.

Por poner una pega, el baño es muy pequeño, pero aún así está genial y completo.

This hotel was located right on the waterfront with beautiful classic Venetian decor which I loved. The bed was super comfy and the receptionist was so so lovely, helping both prior to arrival and throughout the stay.

The only bad point for me was the shower, it was very small and the doors didn’t move properly - but this was it! For the price, location and vibes, it was great.

The property is decorated in traditional Venetian style. It is quaint and has lots of beautiful features, including wooden panels on the ceiling. We had a beautiful view of the water from our room. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Amazing staff - very kind and helpful, we felt really special during our short stay. Our room was clean and had great view on the lagoon. Breakfast was simple but good (you choose in advance). There is a water tram stop right in front of the hotel so you can go basically everywhere around without even walking too much.

Bathroom was a bit hot and overall the AC could have worked better (it was hard to set).

Ein ganz süßes, kleines zauberhaftes Hotel direkt an der Lagune, man fällt aus dem Wasserbus direkt ins Hotel hinein. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt, im Vorfeld gab es schon eine ganz tolle Kommunikation per WhatsApp mit diversen Hinweisen und Vorschlägen, je nachdem, wie wir anreisen, wir am besten dann das Hotel finden. Unser Zimmer war ganz liebevoll ausgestattet und natürlich darf man hier keine riesigen Gemächer erwarten. Alles war sauber und tipptopp und für uns war das Highlight: es gab kostenlos die Möglichkeit, sich über den Zimmerservice am Morgen das Frühstück aufs Zimmer bringen zu lassen. Dafür gab es eine große Karte mit Auswahlmöglichkeiten und auch der Wunsch Uhrzeit. Eine ganz tolle Idee, weil so natürlich auch im Frühstücksraum, keine Lebensmittel verschwendet oder dann auch weggeworfen werden müssen.

Wir haben nichts zu kritisieren.

Fantastic small Venetian hotel away from the bustling heart, but a short walk to all areas and within touching distance of the water buses.

Le personnel était génial, très aimable et surtout vénitien. Maryam m’a envoyé un message pour savoir l’heure à laquelle on arrive et nous donner au besoin des informations. La chambre typique vénitien était petite mais assez confortable rt le petit déjeuner était très bon.

La salle de bain elle est petite donc un peu difficile de se déplacer la dedans.

Falta de variedad en el desayuno

Struttura vicinissima alla fermata del vaporetto per Burano/Murano, a circa 25/30 min a piedi dalla stazione e 20 min a piedi da Piazza San Marco! Ottima l’idea no-spreco per la colazione (la sera prima compili il foglio della colazione apponendo una “X” per i piatti desiderati, e la mattina stessa preparano il tutto). Possibilità di lasciare i bagagli prima del check in e dopo il check out. Stanza vista laguna!

La cama era muy cómoda y tenía buenas vistas al embarcadero. El personal fue muy agradable, preocupándose por nuestra llegada y dejándonos guardar las maletas antes de irnos. El desayuno era magnífico, a la carta y te lo podrían traer a la habitación. La ubicación era perfecta, teniendo el embarcadero delante y llegando a los sitios importantes a pie fácilmente.

El baño era un poco pequeño.

There was a wide selection of foods to choose from and drinks on offer. We liked the fruit and crepes the most. We had boiled eggs every day including the Greek yogurt with honey and nuts- really lovely breakfast

We arrived at 10’30 am and our room wasn’t ready. It would have been nice to have had a rest after our flight as we had been awake since 01.30 am but otherwise we would definitely go back to hotel Vecellio.

The service in this hotel is 1000/10. In the reception there are two wonderful girls that always answered our questions, explained how we can arrive on time to the airport (because our flight was at 7am). Also, amazing breakfasts, we enjoyed croissants with pistachio A LOT, toasted sandwiches and crepes were also amazing! We loved everything about this hotel, starting from location, and ending with the service that was provided. Thank you for your amazing work, and we will recommend to stay all our friends and family only in this hotel!🙏🏼 and thank you for the note that you left in our room, we teared up that had to leave so soon this amazing city!

It was a charming hotel, very friendly staff who could not do more to help (they made us a wee breakfast the night before so could eat something before our early morning flight), good location as walking distance to Rialto Bridge and St Marks square and easy water access to other areas such as Murano and the airport.

On first impression it was smaller than expected but when you meet the staff and eat the delightful breakfast you realise you are lucky to be there.

This charming hotel on the edge of the lagoon had everything we required at a very reasonable price. The staff were delightful, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast excellent, and the room well equipped. We would most definitely stay here again!

Nettes kleines sauberes und super gelegenes Hotel. Äußerst bemühtes und freundliches Personal. Es ist, als wäre man in einer Familie auf Besuch. Man kann es nur empfehlen da es direkt an einer Haltestelle liegt. Zu Fuß ist man in 15 bis 20 min mitten im Getriebe am San Marco, Theatre la fenice uvm.

Everything about the hotel was brilliant. Perfect location to be far enough away from the busy parts, but not too far to not be able to walk there. Hotel was very clean, with friendly staff and room service daily for breakfast at no extra fee. Hotel even allowed us to leave our bags there during our last day after we had checked out which gave us the freedom to still explore Venice

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was in a great location that was easy to reach from the airport. We were able to access our room and leave our luggage straight away before getting out to explore Venice. Good transport links and lovely for walking to the sights, bars and eateries. We were in room one on the ground floor which had beautiful views. We weren’t disturbed by any noise from either outside of the property or other guests entering/exiting. The staff were all wonderfully friendly and helpful and we had an excellent breakfast.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The room wasn’t huge but spotlessly clean, plenty big enough for a few nights and excellent value. The bathroom was small, particularly the shower but we managed without any problems.

Cute small hotel with very helpful and thoughtful staff and convenience. There is a simple breakfast to order in the morning, as well as a fridge in every room. It's located right by the Vaporetto and a short walk to Rialto, which makes it easy to get around.

This was exactly what I was looking for: easy access from the airport warterbus (and others if using them), cute Venetian decor, comfortable bed, and always easy to navigate back to due to that proximity to the water bus stop and being on the water. The staff was also great!

Location is great, close walk to ponte rialto, and right in front of the vaporetto fondamente nove, so we didnt have to carry luggage around the island. Great breakfast, amazing staff, the hotel is old but that is part of the charm in my opinion, comfortable bed and i would def come back

Poor bathroom - old shower cubicle literally falling apart in your hands. With the exception of the bed the furniture is of very basic quality. Extremely average breakfast.
