Hotel Charleroi Airport - Van Der Valk

BED / Mattrass is well below standard

A beautiful hotel with spacious bedrooms and very friendly helpful staff. The restaurant was lovely and offered great food and good service. The hotel is in a good location near Charleroi airport and a lovely place to end our stay in Belgium.

Uiteindelijk was mijn ge-upgrade kamer prima.

Fabulous hotel. Large, comfortable rooms and beautiful furnishings throughout. Restaurant food and service was outstanding. The breakfast is the best choice and quality I’ve had on the continent following two weeks of travel throughout several countries. Very impressed and I only booked as a short stopover on my way home.

Nothing

We love this hotel. The location works well for us, the staff are lovely and the food is great too. Rooms clean and comfortable. Great parking, close to motorway - perfect..

The bedroom doesn't have a mirror which is inconvenient if 2 or more people are sharing and trying to get ready to leave at the same time. Ive started bringing my own mirror but its a bit of a nuisance

Great location lovely staff good food we love this hotel

There isnt a mirror in the bedroom which is inconvenient

Totale chaos !

Location is convenient & plenty of car parking spaces.

The room we were allocated was a very, very long walk from reception, with no lift, which was far from ideal for me with luggage and a tired five-year-old in tow. Unfortunately, no assistance was offered. The room wasn't clean, hairs everywhere in the shower and bathroom floor plus sink. No soap or toilet roll so had to ask for some. The room had massive windows at ground level with cars parks right in front and no way of properly closing the curtains so I had to find a makeshift workaround. Both check-in and check-out were painfully slow, with only one person on reception despite queues forming. Room service was particularly disappointing - just two options available at frankly extortionate prices, even by hotel room-service standards. Overall, a disappointing stay. I was actually a returning guest after a perfectly good experience five years ago, but sadly the hotel seems to have gone backwards rather than improved in that time. I wouldn’t rush to return.

Accueil incroyable

Heel mooie kamer, lekker ontbijt, lekker avondeten.

Ondanks airco vrij warm in de kamer.

Great location near the airport

Hotel is pretty old

Very friendly staff and helpful Room is not equipped to quality known for van de Valk . High prized and instead of double room , it seemed a single room all equipped for one person . Sad because we are used to good quality specially from van de valk . And eventhough you pay advance they still request creditcard details why is totally unknown cause there is nothing in the minibar . All in all would not recommend this one . However still the other van der Valk hotel like Den Haag , Utrecht eo are excellent and good prize quality . Just skip this one

Nickel, bon petit dej.

Dimensione della camera e i suoi servizi (vasca Jacuzzi).
