Localização otima! Bares e restaurantes perto! Apartamento enorme com dois quartos e um banheiro bem amplo! Sala e cozinha estruturada. Café ótimo tb!

Não tem ar condicionado! O que não necessariamente é negativo! Ele é arejado e tem ventiladores, mas para quem for no verão bom saber!

The location is amazing. The hotel room has a window that overlooks the inside of the ancient church of San Giorgio al Paradiso.

Emplacement superbe, au cœur d’un des sassi de la ville. Chambre très originale dans la pierre, c’était un séjour hors du temps, nous avons adoré.

Super localisation dans les Sassi. La chambre troglodyte est une expérience a ne pas manquer. Le petit déj dispo dans la chambre permet de vivre à notre rythme, avec notre petite terrasse devant la chambre c'était super. La chambre est grande, la salle de bain aussi. À notre arrivée les 2 personnes à l'accueil nous ont donné pleins d'informations sur le quartier, les balades a faire, quoi visiter, les resto... Tout était super !

Comme recommandé par l'hôtel en amont, il est préférable de voyager léger car ce magnifique quartier historique est plein de marches, une grosse valise ce n'est pas très pratique.

La ubicacion del hotel.

El estacionamiento. Uno debe estacionar fuera del centro historico y tener presente que encontrar la direccion correcta no es sencillo ni plano. Uno puede requerir subir y bajar escalaras para llegar hasta el hotel. Recomiendo tomar un taxi si es que se tienen varias maletas.

Goede communicatie met het onthaal van het hotel. Onze kamer/appartement was perfect van grote, ruime badkamer met alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt. De verschillende kamers zijn super, alsook de verschillende waaiers die werden voorzien zijn zeker een meerwaarde. Het ontbijt was lekker en gevarieerd (kazen, confituur, choco, vlees, cornflakes,...) De locatie van het hotel is echt in het oude deel van 'Sassi' en dus super gelegen. Vergeet niet dat je auto niet welkom is, behalve als je voor 10u smorgens de ZTL zone terug verlaat. Is gemakkelijk om de bagage terug in te laden.

Momenteel geen minpunten aan dit verblijf in het hotel.

Esta muy bien ubicado, en un complejo rupestre, que por estar alojados ahi no te cobran el acceso de 6€ x persona. Fuimos en auto, estacionamos en el garage Damasco que esta cerca y tomamos un transfer por las subidas y bajadas que hay, pero a la vuelta fuimos caminando y no es tan difícil el trayecto

El check out es muy temprano 10 am , pero te dejan guardar las valijas en recepción

Excelente, foi uma experiência incrível que eu recomendo. Em especial a equipe atende super super bem, Beni nos deu viárias dicas de restaurantes muito bons. A surpresa que fizeram para minha esposa por conta de seu aniversário foi inesquecível. 🙌

Absolutely wonderful stay! The location was perfect, the breakfast was excellent, and the interior atmosphere was beautiful and full of character. What impressed us most was the staff — incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. Their hospitality made our stay in Matera truly special. Highly recommended!

La situación . Nosotros éramos 4 ( mi mujer y mis dos hijos de Q16 y 17 años)Tiene dos habitaciones un salón en un altillo y una cocina con todo lo necesario . A pesar de no tener aire acondicionado y de tener una ola de calor en Agosto se descansa muy bien gracias a los muros de piedra del edificio y de los ventiladores que hay en cada dormitorio. El desayuno es riquísimo con frutas , cafés. , infusiones, queso , jamón , etc Un acierto tanto por la ubicación como por la calidad del apartamento

Utmärkt frukost som serverades på rummet. All som kunde förväntas fanns med, och det fanns en trevlig uteserverna att äta den på.

Luftkonditioneringen var lite för högljudd, i övrigt fanns inget att anmärka på.

Locatie! Midden in het centrum! Parking aan de rand te reserveren op 10 minuten wandelafstand door het historische centrum.

Ontbijt krijg je al de dag op voorhand op je kamer. Vers brood zou leuker zijn. Wel fijn dat we een eigen terrasje hadden

Ottima posizione con bellissima vista. L’appartamento era impeccabilmente pulito, arredato con gusto e curato nei minimi dettagli. I letti erano abbastanza comodi. Il personale è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile. La posizione è ottima per visitare il centro storico e, nonostante ciò, l’appartamento era sorprendentemente silenzioso.

Ci aspettavamo un appartamento dotato di aria condizionata, ma purtroppo non era presente e durante il soggiorno la temperatura interna si è mantenuta intorno ai 30 °C. Al nostro arrivo il personale ci ha gentilmente proposto di trasferirci in una camera con aria condizionata. Tuttavia, viaggiando in gruppo, abbiamo preferito rimanere nell’appartamento. Lo staff ci ha quindi fornito dei ventilatori, che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Sarebbe utile indicare con maggiore chiarezza nella descrizione quali appartamenti sono dotati di aria condizionata, così da evitare equivoci.

We had a 2 bed apartment with a mezzanine op[en plan 3rd bedroom. The apartment was spacious and clean. The staff here were excellent, friendly and professional. They went out of their way to make a special celebration surprise for my brother in their Museum area. My brother and his wife stayed for 1 night in a cave room with aircon that was really nicely decorated and cool.

There was only 1 bathroom with frosted glass windows in the door that didn't feel very private. It was very warm with no aircon however fans were provided.

Once we were oriented the location was excellent. The location also provided a sense of history….with modern updates.

Nossa experiência no Hotel San Giorgio foi muito positiva. As instalações são confortáveis e bem cuidadas, a comunicação antes da chegada foi excelente, com todas as informações necessárias, e a localização é um grande destaque: fica bem no coração dos Sassi, permitindo explorar Matera a pé. A única observação é em relação ao acesso. Como é comum na região histórica, há muitas ladeiras e escadas de pedra, que podem ser escorregadias. Faz parte da experiência única de se hospedar nos Sassi, mas pessoas com mobilidade reduzida ou com muita bagagem devem considerar contratar um transfer, já que os carros não podem acessar a área por ser uma ZTL (Zona de Tráfego Limitado).

Location was great as the shuttle from the parking took us straight to reception. We stayed in a private courtyard with my son & his partner next door.Our rooms were a short walk up some stairs so best to only bring the luggage you need for your stay & leave the rest in the car.

Lovely stay in a high quality room with a very comfortable bed. This really is a first class room which has everything needed so fridge & kitchen facilities should you wish. Each room appears to have a private courtyard. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, should I ever return I will definitely book here again.

L'emplacement idéal au cœur des Sassi. Le personnel présent et chaleureux. La chambre était très grande avec un plus, la cave, comme les maisons anciennes des Sassis. Le musée qui, pour les personnes étant dans l'hôtel, est tarif réduit et formidable, mieux que les autres musées qu'on a pu faire. Très bonnes explications.

The location was perfect to explore the Sassi, the pre arrival instructions for parking and locating the hotel were very comprehensive. The service from staff was efficient and non intrusive. The accommodation was spacious, cool and comfortable. The breakfast in the room was excellent.

The location was extraordinary, a cave high on the hillside yet in the heart of the town. We had to walk to get there but the hotel staff made that easy.

It was very authentic and we felt like we were living in ancient times !

The Hotel is located in the middle of the Sassi district in Matera. Our room was an actual cave that was once inhabited over the past 9000yrs.The breakfast was in the room with well stocked items every day. Luigi and Bennie were great.The whole area just had an incredible energy.If you read about the Sassi district it has an incredible history and story to it. High recommend if you are looking for something different. The whole Basilicata region is beautiful at times breathtaking. If you are in a cave room you will have to work little to get your luggage to the room.Well worth it.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, the communication on arrival was excellent, the staff were kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Their recommendations were spot on too! The room was atmospheric but also comfortable, spotless and with a lovely breakfast set out ready for us to enjoy in the morning.

Authentic cave accommodation. Right in the middle of Sassi. The staff were extremely helpful and guided us when we got lost - multiple times.

Best way to see Matera is to stay in the sassi . Our rooms were over a cave museum that describes the caves that exist under Matera . Great place to stay . Clean and comfortable . Outfitted well with a covered terrace outside . Lovely !

W rzeczywistości hotel stanowią niezależne apartamenty. Prezentowany budynek to jedynie recepcja. Na pytanie o możliwość przygotowania posiłku w apartamencie otrzymałem odpowiedź, że oczywiści można jednak za dodatkową opłatą po uiszczeniu której otrzymam garnek. Za ten garnek do ugotowania makaronu miałem zapłacić dodatkowo bodajże 30 euro.

The hotel concept, within the cave, is just perfect! And they managed to bring comfort and truthfulness simultaneously to it! It indeed matches Matera "ambiance". Rooms and bathrooms are enormous, good facilities, comfortable bed. Breakfast is very good. I wouldn't say it is luxurious, but it is for sure very elegant.

The hotel is located in the heart of the old town. You’ll need to be prepared for a bit of stair-climbing, though. But remember, you’re in Matera :) The hotel was clean and had a lovely terrace where you can sit, relax, and enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of fine wine in the evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
