Comme souvent avec booking , vous mettez des photos qui ne correspondent pas à la véritable vue.. Exemple ….je pensais avoir une vue sur les Sassi et j’ai une vue sur un mur.. Vous dites qu’il y a un parking…il faut garer sa voiture à 1 km et traîner ses valises jusqu’à l’hôtel..

Looked great and location was amazing. Great bathroom and you get to choose your breakfast and end up picking to much.

Being in a cave looks great but during the night it’s sweaty and cold next morning ants had got into daughters medicine we mentioned it to cleaner who said it was are fault for having food in cave, we never we had drinks though, which is normal. Wouldn’t stay in a cave again.

We specifically looked for hotel in Sassi with cave room. We loved that it was very conveniently located to explore oldest parts of the city.

Fantastic location, at the Sasso Caveoso and next to the main road. The hotel is built around the caves, which makes it amazing. They have a contract with a garage in case you arrive driving so you cal leave the car in the garage and then they send you to the hotel in a shuttle.

La ragazza della reception è stata molto simpatica, disponibile e professionale. Hotel carino, colazione di qualità.

Camera molto suggestiva, personale molto accogliente che ci ha fornito molte informazioni per la visita di Matera, colazione buona.

Ovviamente la stanza è un po’ umida anche se la presenza di deumidificatore , con il condizionatore la notte c’è un po’ freddo. La colazione non è buffet, ma bisogna ordinarla il giorno prima.

Ottima posizione per visitare Matera.

Raggiungibile solo a piedi , con i bagagli e la pavimentazione in pietra non è comodissimo. Per la colazione ti fanno scegliere il giorno prima le pietanze ma oltre a quello che viene indicato nel menu non c’è un buffet aggiuntivo. Un po limitante.

Andrebbe potenziato il condizionatore nella stanzetta dei bambini nella quadrupla. Il letto matrimoniale era troppo morbido.

Siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e attenzione, e abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo la bontà e la qualità della colazione. La posizione è semplicemente super, perfetta per visitare Matera. Ho trovato molto positiva anche l’attenzione prima del nostro arrivo: sono stata contattata per ricevere tutte le indicazioni su dove si trovasse la struttura, un gesto davvero utile e apprezzato. Un valore aggiunto è stata sicuramente la guida, Sig. Liborio che ci ha accompagnato alla scoperta di Matera: un’esperienza bellissima che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più speciale. Con la sua grande competenza e passione ci ha raccontato le storie e la.bellezza di Matera e ci ha trasmesso il suo amore per questa terra. (Per chi volesse può approfondire la lettura del suo libro). Struttura consigliatissima, sia per l’accoglienza che per la posizione e la qualità del soggiorno!

Atendimento na recepção, café da manhã foi ótimo, localização perfeita, estávamos em 4 pessoas e o quarto era enorme e bem confortável.

Se você chega de carro alugado o estacionamento fica um pouco longe do hotel, mas você consegue acessar caminhando… tem só que evitar muitas malas! O Banheiro precisa um pouco de manutenção.

Perfect location to walk around Sassi Caveoso. Close to the parking so it was easy to find it after our taxi dropped us. Beautiful view of Saint Mary of Idris church. Mattress was comfortable and the AC made our stay pleasant. People at breakfast were so nice and accommodating. We were able to drop our luggage and walk around before the check-in time. Same after check out.

We were hoping for a cave room but have been offered only a second floor regular room. So couldn’t experience the cave vibe stay. Breakfast was good but they asked us to choose what to have the previous night and then in the morning we just got a mix of everything, so not sure why we had to submit it in advance. Bath seemed a bit worn out, but it was functional.

La flor de la ducha estaba rota y salía agua para todos lados, la habitacion con olor a humedad pero calculo que es por las paredes de piedra .

Location was brilliant to see all the main sites. The room was big and bright with pretty terracing outside where we had our breakfast. Bed very comfortable with nice linen. Staff very helpful with directions etc Breakfast was good although strange to order it evening before when you can’t see the food and don’t know how hungry you’ll be!

Bathroom not very nice - waste on shower partly blocked, shower dripped and tiling all looks a bit dirty. A little bit of a walk from car park - note 10 euros is not for 24 hours but per day so 20 euros for us checking in at 3pm and leaving at 9 am

Staff were so helpful. Breakfast was good. Location superb right in the centre of the old town. Shared terrace was lovely to sit and have a drink after a busy day looking at Matera. Pizza place below hotel great. Mini market about 10 minutes away.

The room was really hot with 2 adults and an 18 and 16 year old. The air con wasn’t the best. It is a cave though and they were experiencing extremely hot weather.

Purtroppo abbiamo constatato solo il giorno prima di arrivare che l'hotel non ha un proprio parcheggio... è stato subito chiaro che non dipendesse dall'hotel stesso ma da politiche comunali.. ma credo vada meglio specificato su Booking. Posizione ottima, personale alla reception molto, molto cordiale e piacevolissimo. Ci hanno dato informazioni dettagliate e sono stati davvero cari. Anche alla colazione il servizio è stato buono. Abbiamo apprezzato la "colazione anti spreco". Ci è sembrata una soluzione intelligente, anche se è vero che il "colpo d'occhio" del buffet è sempre una bella coccola in vacanza.. ma facendo un'analisi costi-benefici, bene l'idea di Caveoso. Stanza molto suggestiva e con una vista pazzesca. Ottima la pulizia della stanza e dei luoghi comuni.

Purtoppo l'aria condizionata aveva problemi.. verifico da altre recensioni che è un problema ricorrente. Arrivati in un caldo pomeriggio d'agosto, con l'umidità della grotta, l'effetto è stato davvero di choc. Purtroppo, presa dall'ansia e dalla difficoltà di trovare un minimo di confort per me e la mia famiglia (fuori 40 gradi, dentro la stanza molto umido e caldo), non sono riuscita a godermi il primo giorno. Il giorno dopo il problema al condizionatore si è risolto grazie alla collaborazione di tutti, ed il soggiorno è stato più piacevole (anche grazie ad un potente ventilatore che i ragazzi della reception ci hanno prontamente recuperato). Sicuramente migliorerei questo aspetto. Il bagno è un pochino vetusto, ma comunque carino, e l'esperienza non è stata minimamente intaccata da ciò. Il mio consiglio è quello di chiedere di verificare il funzionamento dell'aria condizionata prima dell'arrivo.

Central location and great to be staying in a sassi cave. Taxi stand nearby and lots of restaurant options. Breakfast included was good.

Staff at the reception was quite serious people, no smiles, appeared unfriendly. We are used to much better service around the area.

Localização privilegiada, dentro do Sassi mais bonito de Matera. Quarto amplo, bem decorado e com ótimas camas e travesseiros. Excelente custo-benefício. O café da manhã pode ser tomado na área comum do hotel ou no quarto, sem nenhuma taxa extra.

A pressão da água no chuveiro e na pia era mínima. Impossível lavar adequadamente os cabelos. O hotel não dispõe de cozinha, de modo que no café da manhã não são servidos pratos quentes ou preparos de ovos e você precisa solicitar os itens a consumir na noite de véspera.

Localização vc não consegue acessar de carro. Banheiro só com banheira, era interessante ter um box

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer über 2 Etagen wie in einer Höhle. Außerdem einen netten Balkon. Das Hotel liegt mitten in den Sassi und damit ideal um die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Frühstück musste im voraus ausgewählt werden.

Der Parkplatz (öffentlich) war etwa 10 Minuten entfernt und das Hotel im Gassengewirr von Matera etwas schwer zu finden.

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, zweckmässig eingerichtet und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Es war in einem Nebengebäude und nicht in der Kaverne. Der Empfang an der Reception war topp. Man erhält viele hilfreiche Tipps.

Die Zufahrt mit dem Auto ist nur vor 10 Uhr möglich. Es empfiehlt sich, mit leichtem Gepäck anzureisen.

Um hotel espetacular, bem localizado, com fácil acesso. A recepção foi espetacular, com um atendimento dedicado. Fomos recebidos por Nancy, uma profissional com empenho acima da média.

Difícil especificar, acho que o conjunto foi completamente satisfatório.

This hotel was wonderful - beautiful setting right in the sassi, spacious cave room with plenty space for extra beds for kids, lovely breakfast, friendly hosts with map and advice provided for exploring Marera on check-in. It's not possible to take the car in to the old town however the hotel provided options for public parking nearby ahead of check-in. This was a fantastic base for exploring Matera, would highly recommend.

Not much to say, although I wasn't keen on the use of disposable plastic cups in the reception, restaurant and room.

Su booking è indicato che l'Hotel è dotato di parcheggio, l'hotel sostiene che il comune ha inserito la Ztl. Ciò lo si scopre però solo dopo aver pagato un servizio che non c'è o che comunque ricade come costo al cliente. ( Strisce blu, parcheggio convenzionato ecc) Probabilmente booking deve aggiornare i dati. I filtri e le bocchette della vasca idromassaggio vanno puliti. Quando azionati hanno rilasciato molto sporco. Può starci come dimenticanza ma va fatta attenzione.. Chiedere la tassa di soggiorno per una notte mi è sembrato sgradevole ( nel mio caso check in alle 18.00 pm check out alla 9.00.a.m)

Το πρωινό και μάλιστα η επιλογή να μας το φέρνουν στο δωμάτιο. Επίσης, η τοποθεσία τοτ ξενοδοχείου είναι εξαιρετική αφού μπορείς με τα πόδια να εξερευνήσεις την παλιά πόλη.

Το ότι μας ενημερώσαν για την πολιτική απαγόρευσης εισόδου των αυτοκινήτων στην παλιά πόλη μόλις λίγες ώρες πριν το check in με αποτέλεσμα να περιμένουμε πρόστιμο από την τοπική αστυνομία. Κάτι τόσο σημαντικό θα έπρεπε να προετοιμάζει τους επισκέπτες μέρες πριν και όχι την τελευταία στιγμή. Ελπίζω να καταλάβουν οι υπεύθυνοι του ξενοδοχείου πως την ίδια μέρα που φτάνουν οι ταξιδιώτες στο ξενοδοχείο ταξιδεύουν προκειμένου να φτάσουν και μπορεί όπως εμείς να μην ελέγχουν διαρκώς τα email τους

Interesting place, prerry view, but our room was not in a cave. It was a little worn out but nice enough, though wuite expensive.

Maybe a bit too expensive for its wualiry, but that seemed to be the overall pruce level in Matera - high.

Great rooms

Staff could do better dealing with the tourists. A small less than 1 inch paste which is not enough for one person costs additional 2 euros. One staff called a taxi company and charged 10 euros for just calling a taxi. One staff yelled at 8 year old girl for taking 2 candy.

Čarobno mjesto predivnih domaćina, autohtone hrane, okružene divnom prirodom. Domaćini su izuzetni, hrana božanstvena. Večera koja se priprema na imanju sa namjernicama koje domaćini uzgajaju je prefina, a doručak je najfiniji doručak ikad! Hvala domaćinima na nezaboravnom iskustvu i boravku.

Utterly magical stay! We wished we were staying longer than one night on the final night of our honeymoon! We were given the choice of two rooms, one with a balcony and view, the other - a cave room. No contest. The cave room was beautifully lit and very cosy and comfy! The receptionist was the most friendliest and helpful man. Loved it! Great location too - thought the whole stay in Matera was wonderful!

Pogled iz hotela bio je očaravajuć i oduzimao dah na svakom koraku. Sassi di Matera ostavila je na mene snažan dojam i nezaboravno iskustvo koje ću pamtiti i nositi u srcu još mnogo godina.

U hotelskoj sobi nedostajale su čaše za konzumaciju pića. Također, prilikom prijave (check-ina) potrebno je ispuniti upitnik o hrani koju planirate konzumirati sljedeći dan za doručak, što mi se nije posebno svidjelo jer više preferiram švedski stol i mogućnost izbora na licu mjesta. Sve ostalo bilo je izvrsno. Soba je bila prekrasna, prostrana, uredna i besprijekorno čista. Osoblje hotela bilo je vrlo ljubazno i uslužno, što je dodatno doprinijelo ugodnom boravku.

Moldy bathroom and musty wet room. Made all our clothes damp and the bed and pillows were damp. Had a bad smell in the bathroom. Very outdated. Needs an update bad and proper cleaning

El desayuno no era de lo más rico.

Chambre spacieuse offrant une expérience insolite : dormir dans une véritable grotte, tout en profitant d’un emplacement idéal au cœur de cette incroyable cité qu’est Matera.

Chambre humide malgré le déshumidificateur qui fonctionnait en permanence. Par ailleurs, le bas du miroir de la salle de bain était situé à 1,50 m du sol, ce qui le rendait peu pratique : mon épouse ne pouvait y apercevoir que le haut de sa tête. Une installation assez surprenante et difficile à comprendre. Pas de buffet pour le petit déjeuner : il faut choisir la veille parmi une liste qui manque de clarté.
