Excellent breakfast and location.All of the staff were super friendly and helpful whether reception, dining room, cleaners , basically they were an excellent team!

The only downside was the spa facilities that were on booking confirmation weren't open as being refurbished.

Parfait avec toutes les commodités, déjeuner grandiose compris, vue panoramique accessible depuis une terrasse sur le toit de l’hôtel.

Rien mise à part une des douches ( il y avait 2 douches dans notre chambre) un peu petite et ancienne. Trop petite pour une personne de forte corpulence.

La gentillesse exquise du personnel, la qualité du petit dej, les lits confortables, la piscine, la beauté du lieu caché, les rénovations pour lier les différents bâtiments, modernes, bien réfléchis et fonctionnelles

Le mobilier d'époque mais vieillot, l'espace de la chambre pas bien agencé et pas fonctionnelle (grosse table au milieu, armoire imposant et pas pratique, tiroirs difficiles à ouvrir!!) Les étoiles de l'hotel méritent plus de confort et d'attention aux détails!

L’emplacement, le personnel, la propreté : bravo tout était top et dans un cadre splendide. Merci !

Ho scelto l’hotel per i servizi e pacchetti inclusi tra i quali 1h di spa inclusa nel prezzo, in realtà non è stato possibile usufruirne in quanto la piscina interna era “chiusa per manutenzione” e tutti gli altri massaggi/trattamenti richiedevano un costo extra più costoso della camera stessa.

Ett charmigt hotell med traditionell italiensk servicenivå av hög klass. Bra med poolområdet. Välskött och med badvakt och cafeteria. Saltvattenpoolen uppskattades. Fin atmosfär med antika möbler och föremål. Bra med säkerhetsskåp med nyckel.

Lite hårda sängar. Underdimensionerad luftkonditionering. Transport till och från stationen var inte bra då staden endast har tre taxibilar. Kanske hotellet borde ha transfermöjlighet.

Expensive but worth every penny!!

Everything about our stay felt traditional and special, and we were very happy with it. Breakfast was a lovely experience, from the room where it was served to the attentive service. We would happily recommend it. The bicycles were a thoughtful touch and made it easy and enjoyable to explore the town. Our only small issue was the mosquitoes. There seemed to be a problem throughout the city, not just at the hotel, so it may simply have been due to the time of year we visited.

The location, the swimming pool and the stuff were the highlight for me

The room was very very little for 3 people. Not that we spent much time there but still. Also I was a bit annoyed by people “booking” their sun loungers with their towels by the swimming pool and then disappearing for hours forcing everyone else to take seats further away even if there is virtually nobody by the pool. Not necessarily a fault of the hotel, but staff should make sure people were discourage to do so.

Habitaciones muy pequeñas. La ducha pequeñisima que casi no se cabia. Si levantabas los brazos para lavarte el pelo los codos chocaban con la pared. Todo el hotel esta muy anticuado. En nuestra cama, de colchón salía un muelle que si estirabas los pies te podías hacer daño. De acuerdo que pagas ubicación pero es muy caro para como es el hotel. No volveremos.

Il buffet a colazione pieno di moscerini su dolci e frutta , la poca gentilezza del personale della colazione e i rumori dei lavori durante tutto il giorno

Utrolig hyggelig personale, rene omgivelser, god service, kort vei til stranden/spisesteder og gode senger. Personalet hadde forståelse for at vi var en småbarnsfamilie med mye bagasje/vogner. Hvis du reiser uten små barn er dette det perfekte hotellet for avslapning og ro - og vi kommer helt klart tilbake i fremtiden!

Frokosten hadde absolutt "alt", utvalget var stort, men middels kvalitet. Jeg savnet f.eks grønnsaker og brød av god kvalitet.

Die Lage war super. Wenige Mirarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Pool war gepflegt.

Die Klimaanlage war kathastrophal, von einer Kühlung ist hier nicht die Rede. Abzug im Bad hat auch nicht funktioniert - die Dusche ist nicht geeignet für Personen über 1.70m. Zimmer sehr klein. Das Fenster konnte in der Nacht nicht geöffnet werden, viel zu laut vor dem Hotel & die ganze Nacht war draussen Licht. Zu unserem Zimmer war kein Lift vorhanden, sehr verwinkelt & sehr enge Gänge - die Reinigungskräfte mussten alles hochschleppen, was mir sehr leid tat. Mehrheit des Personals war sehr unfreundlich, dies vorallem beim Buffet am Morgen, keine Platzzuweisung oder beachtung des Personals. Bereits eine Stunde vor Schliessung des Buffets keine Rühreier mehr. Das Geschirr war mehrheitlich nicht sauber. Der Preis viel zu hoch! Das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen.

La gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale e la colazione eccezionale!

La dimensione della stanza era un po' piccola ma era una prenotazione economy. Stando in giro tutto il giorno, utilizzata solo per dormire è stata comunque perfetta.

Wonderful location. Very short walk (2mins) to the Bay of Silence. Great views from the rooftop terrace. Very close (5 mins) to a pedestrianised street with many good restaurants and the Bay of Fairy Tales promenade which also had great restaurants. The outside pool area looked amazing, as did the indoor pool area. The outside restaurant for breakfast looked amazing too. Our bedroom was very quiet.

This is mostly about the weather. There was a terrible storm whilst we were staying - we stayed one night only - and this was when the storm was. The outside pool had to be closed (of course) as did the rooftop terrace and breakfast had to be indoors. There was nothing the hotel could do about this. Unfortunately, the indoor pool was closed for repairs so we were unable to use this either. I like to think that if it was my hotel, I would have offered all guests a complimentary drink as, although the weather was out of their control, the indoor pool closure was not.

I had a fantastic stay. Attention to detail is everywhere. The pool area is lovely and the views from the hotel are amazing. Many reviews mention the wonderful staff and this is where the hotel really stands out. Many thanks in particular to Barbara and Cristina.

The single room on the too floor is quite small but has a small balcony with a beautiful view over the bay. The other single room is bigger but I wouldn’t mind compromising on space for the view.

Location and breakfast

Hotel is too expensive for what they offer. On top we had an issue with the room, they offer us room 53&54, that are hidden in some part of the building and very old, small and with bad smell inside. That room was not matching with the double room that we have booked so we asked to change it, but was possible only with additional cost as the new room had "partial sea view". So we were kind of forced to take it as no other solution was possible. In the pictures is our new room and the "sea view"

Très bel emplacement, à deux pas de la Baie du Silence , la chambre était spacieuse et agréable mais la douche était vraiment très petite . Le personnel était serviable et sympathique. L'espace piscine fantastique, la cerise sur le gâteau.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Location was perfect right on Silent bay. Breakfast was very good. Our room had a water view which was lovely. The elevator was a bonus.

La camera in posizione meravigliosa ma piccolina. Io sono 1.90 cm...bastava un pelo più grande. Incantevole però la vista mare.

Le personels faut qu'ils parlent français, on a du mal a s'entendre car il y'a un monsieur qui ne sait pas parler en anglais mais ce n'etait pas grave. Le premier jour on a trouvé le lavabo bouché et on a resté 24h sans intervention du plombier.

Bardzo zaniedbany hotel z okropną obsługą. Na wejściu okazało się, że nie ma pokoju, który zarezerwowaliśmy. Próbowano nam wmówić, że dostajemy upgrade do lepszego. Po zameldowaniu okazało się, że zamiast klasycznego pokoju, za który płaciliśmy 300 euro za dobę dostajemy ciasny pokój na poddaszu ze skosami utrudniającymi poruszanie się. Po zwróceniu wagi recepcjonistka Barbara przestała był miła. Gdy nie odpuszczaliśmy zaproponowała nam apartament w sąsiednim budynku, który miał jeszcze niższy standard. Zostaliśmy przyparci do muru „bierzesz to albo nic”. Nie zgodzili się na bezkosztową anulację rezerwacji. Hotel ma świetną lokalizację ale czasy świetności za sobą. Wszystko jest stare, zużyte, zniszczone. Obsługa po za praktykantami jest nie sympatyczna, nie wita się, obsługuje podczas śniadania tylko Włochów, sprzątając wali sztućcami i talerzami. Goście ewidentnie przeszkadzają. W korytarzu prowadzącym do niby apartamentu śmierdzą kubły ze śmieciami. Apartament wyposażony w stare meble, zużytą armaturę, drzwi od kabiny prysznicowej rozpadają się. Czujemy się oszukani. Obsługa i hotel jest zaprzeczeniem włoskiej gościnności i 4 gwiazdowych hoteli. Dopłacasz za każdą dobę: 30 euro za parking, 15 euro za psa (nie dostajesz posłania ani miski, pies nigdzie nie może wejść, nie chcą sprzątać pokoju). Recepcjonistka rozkłada ręce za każdym razem gdy o coś prosiliśmy lub zgłaszaliśmy. Najgorszy hotel we Włoszech za 1300 euro

Mi è piaciuta la posizione. A due passi letteralmente dalla Baia del silenzio. Vicinissimo al centro. I servizi come la piscina di acqua di mare inclusi ed aperta dalle 9 alle 19.00. La colazione varia ed abbondante. La camera pulita ed accessoriata senza vista, al piano terra, ma credo che siano le camere che tengono per prenotazioni all'ultimo minuto. I servizi comunque sono a disposizione di tutti i clienti . Personale disponibile h 24.

In realtà nulla in particolare. Abbiamo passato solo una notte, ci torneremo sicuramente. Vale il prezzo,.. anche quello del parcheggio vista la difficoltà di parcheggio in loco.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The location was excellent, and we made great use of the facilities, which made for a very relaxing experience. The rooms were spacious, private, and well equipped.

The staff member preparing the eggs at breakfast was not very welcoming and also unresponsive when I asked questions.

The staff, especially the guy that parked the car and helped with luggage were super friendly. The location is fantastic and the facilities in general are good.

The room was half underground and despite the fact there was an ac, it was spectacularly positioned behind not one, but two sets of curtains. I’m sure the window was perfectly cool, however the room resembled a basement greenhouse which made it impossible to sleep. But probably great for cultivating plants.

Aussi, Un petit présent ou un simple petit mot de gratitude auprès de la fidèle clientèle serait la bienvenu. Nous sommes venu une dizaines de fois et nous réfléchirons maintenant à deux fois pour y retourner. Dommage...

I liked everything about the Hotel although my single room was quite small.

The hotel is situated between the two beaches of Sestri, and so close to one it is on your doorstep. Great for an early morning swim. Location is quiet while being a short walk from the main centre. Breakfast and dinner really excellent. Staff professional and welcoming. In some ways it is a bit old fashioned, but has so much character and is a delightful place to stay. Good swimming pool on site which never became too busy or noisy.

The hotel was as expected but ion you are looking for modern Italian design it would not be for you.

Der Meerwasserpool war das Highlight.

Es gab eine Hochzeit, keine Info.Am nächsten Tag war das Frühstück mühsam,nicht bereit.Die Waren waren zu wenig gekühlt.Sehr schade.Die Parksituation für 30 Euro war mühsam.

Einzigartiges Hotel an bester Lage. Wir wurden unmittelbar bei der Ankunft vom Portier in die Tiefgarage begleitet und beim Einparken unterstützt. Ausserordentlich freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr schönes Zimmer, wunderbare Hotelanlage mit Innen- und Aussenpool, super Frühstück. Dieses Hotel ist nur zu empfehlen, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

The hotel is enchanting; the staff were excellent and the breakfast was delicious. Also the outside pool and area were perfect.

Getting out of the garage in a big vehicle was a bit challenging but the staff were a great help.

Top Lage, gutes Frühstück, schöner Pool! Am meisten beeindruckt hat uns aber der Top Service des Hotels. Das Personal war aussergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam, allen voran Barbara, die sehr liebe Dame am Empfang, die uns bei jeder Frage geholfen hat und uns sehr zuvorkommend behandelt hat! Nichts zu beanstanden!

Emplacement formidable au calme . Hôtel dont les chambres ( en tous cas celle que nous occupions) mériteraient un rafraîchissement. Un balcon agréable. Buffet de petit déjeuner très copieux et varié dans de belles salles. Personnel parlant beaucoup de langues et très aimable. Nous avons confié notre voiture pour qu'elle soit garée à l'abri pour 30 euros.

C'est dommage de ne pas éteindre la nuit les lumières du jardin c'est du gaspillage et cela empêche de dormir dans le noir .

Das Hotel ist ein echtes Schmuckstück. Man fühlt sich in die Vergangenheit versetzt, genießt aber alle heutigen Annehmlichkeiten. Alles ist sehr sauber und im Innenhof gibt es viele schöne Plätze zu entdecken. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - ein großes Danke an Frau Barbara an der Rezeption! Das Hotel ist mit dem Auto sehr gut zu erreichen und es gibt ein Parkservice. Am besten hat uns die Lage gefallen: ruhig, aber man ist in einer Minute im Zentrum und in nur ein paar Schritten an einem absoluten Traumstrand!

I thought you could make better use of the 4th floor terrace. You could organise a personalised dining occasion - butler service up there. Decorate with fairy lights and make it prettier.

Non ci è piaciuta l’organizzazione soprattutto della colazione in quanto i vari dolci,croissant etc erano disposti in modo dispersivo. Tutte le cinque mattine del nostro soggiorno abbiamo dovuto sollecitare il cameriere a ripristinare il contenuto dei vassoi che rimanevano tristemente sguarniti. Alcuni camerieri erano scontrosi ed una cameriera, in particolare, sguaiata e non adeguata alla struttura, altri camerieri, invece, molto disponibilei. La sala colazione in alcune mattine, era deficitaria delle basilari stoviglie.

Unser Zimmer war extrem klein… durch das Fenster konnte man kaum schauen…. Schade….

Ottima posizione vicino alla baia del silenzio. La camera era bella e pulita ed il personale era molto gentile e disponibile. Siamo stati nella piscina esterna e abbiamo apprezzato il servizio con frutta fresca.
