The quiet location. Check in was quick and very good with the help of the lady on reception at Check in.
Left some shorts behind in the pool area, had a call with a young lady having a laugh at my expense, so much so that she hung up after insulting me directly. I said they were navy shorts and she replied "some tesco home brand is it?" Then hung up. I called back right away and the answer was. "Your the shorts fella are ya?" I won't be back to such a place. The lady I'm certain she thought I was older like most of the clients I saw there. But how terrible is it that staff would think it would be ok to abuse older people for there own entertainment. Cheap behaviour and its reflective of the staff at the leasure centre.. The hotel itself had less sinister staff than the pool. I stay in hotels most weeks with my job and i can't ever been made fun of on a phone call for anything like that.. the call was at 17:53 and was hung up on after 1min 14 sec. She just couldn't contain her self after the Tesco comment and played dumb when I called back in 20sec. Told they will be in the lost and found till I call back after i told her we live the other side of the county and were just on holiday.
Great hotel with nice rooms and facilities
Location and room size was good
Too hot was in the room, not comfortable to sleep
Lovely location and around a 20min walk into Bantry town. Very nice food served in the bar and breakfast service was very well stocked. Comfortable room but the WiFi was very flakey in room 317, starting and stopping constantly. Plenty of parking and also safe for motorcycle parking.
WiFi was very unreliable in the bedroom (317) and constantly lost signal for several minutes before restarting. Could have been a faulty unit in the corridor but disappointing nowadays. The bar area itself is very small and most people seem to choose to eat in the bar, rather than the large and quite underused restaurant. This results in people eating at various tables all over the reception and entrance area which was a bit unusual, as some tables and seats are meant for relaxing with drinks and not for eating meals.
Grounds and facilities were lovely. Parking easy. Nice room, good shower
Internet was non-existant in rooms. Complained and was told there were too many people in hotel ! Could only get good signal in foyer. Phone signal poor in this part of Ireland too. The breakfast was only average so glad I got a discount on it. Service quite poor in bar, restaurant and breakfast with many but generally inattentive staff.
The room was clean.
I never felt more unwelcome in a hotel. The lady at reception, Sinead, couldn’t be bothered to check me in. She had me sign a check-in form, then changed my room. When I asked why, she denied it and said she had needed that room earlier. I was then told to take the stairs to my room. I had luggage to carry, but she dismissed my concern and told be it were only three steps. It was actually two full flights of stairs, one story up and one down. She either didn’t know the hotel building or she was more ignorant than I thought at the beginning. The room did not match the category I had booked, was at the back of the building facing a stone wall and was next to the kitchen where it stank of old frying fat! I was not informed of anything, whether Wifi, restaurants, the leisure centre etc. She did not even wish me a pleasant stay. The hotel is huge and is more for families with small kids. It is loud and busy, but there was no indication during the booking process that it was a family hotel. I don’t recommend it unless you have small kids and don’t mind noise! Their slogan as “THE hotel to stay at…”is more “The hotel NOT to stay at!!!”
The bathrooms were excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast selection was good enough. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the pool.
The bedrooms were very tired and drab. The net curtain in our room was torn. The cooked breakfast quality was only fair.
The bathroom was kind of old and outdated
Everything was perfect during our stay. Great pool, good food, very comfortable room and super friendly staff.
lovely room with good size twin beds, easy parking, incredibly helpful staff who helped me get a legal document printed and scanned. Restaurant staff attentive. Pool was pleasant
Fully booked at weekend, so had a shorter stay than I would have liked. Will book earlier next time
Very good breakfast, friendly staff and a great location.
Great atmosphere very friendly and helpful staff
That our room was not ready for us
Room was very clean and quiet. Swimming pool with spa and sauna we enjoyed and it was great to be able to have a delicious meal at the hotel bar.
Nice and relaxing venue. Staff fantastic. Very comfy bed. All star breakfast

Breakfast was masacre.
Friendly staff and good aircon
Someone had vomited in our toilet when we arrived. Bowl was full of vomit Someone walked into our room from the adjoining bedroom The baby cot was tattered and had poo stains on it Our window opened to a windowsill covered in bird poo
We were made to feel welcome from our first contact.Food was great and the staff were warm and friendly.
Beautiful property and grounds

good breakfast, bar food also pretty good
not always that easy to get noticed at a table when waiting to be served
Rooms lovely, staff very friendly. Great location to explore everything that West Cork has to offer
Food very average overall. Service in the main dining room for dinner was very poor but the 2 girls serving us seemed to be under pressure to look after the bar area for food also. I wouldn't recommend the main dining area for a meal...food fairly bland & service not up to standard.
Location was nice - hotel is fine but over priced
Rooms, food was average
Food was good, room was basic but clean and comfortable. Location was good.
My only issue was that the staff weren’t hugely friendly, not rude, but I was never met with a smile, interactions were all very business like. Usually at hotels staff are friendly, they smile, chat a little, they’re warm and welcoming, there was none of that.
Nice quiet location on the outskirts of town. Very good breakfast.
Nice staff, Rooms very clean
Leisure centre a little outdated.
Pool was great! Staff were lovely and left cake in the room for my husbands 40th.
Always a problem with breakfast, whether I had paid or not
Biscuits and water not regularly replenished in the room

Hotel w którym zatrzymaliśmy się na jedną noc. Było komfortowo, łóżka wygodne, staff bardzo pomocny i przyjazny. Obsługa klienta pierwsza klasa. Pokoje czyste i zgodne z oczekiwaniami. Byłem zadowolony, tym bardziej, że śniadanie było różnorodne, nawet była hiszpańska szynka w plastrach i łosoś wędzony, co trafia się w hotelach wyjątkowo rzadko. Śniadania obfite i smaczne. Byłem pozytywnie zaskoczony i przyznam, że będąc przejazdem na pewno tam wstąpię

Breakfast was good but should have been included in the price.
The expellier in our bathroom was very loud even when the light was off which kept us awake on the first night of our stay. When I raised the issue with reception the following day they said they would send somebody up to check it but unfortunately this never happened.
The staff were friendly. The breakfast was good and location was ideal for us. Leisure centre facilities were really good. Organised a massage which was excellent
Nice size family room. Staff so helpful and friendly, nice bar food and breakfast. Good pool facilities.
Nothing, we had a great time
The staff was superb and helpful. They joyfully did everything the could to accommodate us. My wife lost her wedding ring in our room, and the room cleaner went out of her way to find it
Staff were really friendly and a lovely walk into the town square.
No water in the room and the AC was not working.
Perfect location close to family and friends we visited. Very friendly staff, food good, nice room and comfortable bed.
Everything was perfect
Over all just fine
Again an old hotel that up graded there rooms but left the tubs in the bath...at 74 I don't like climbing in and out of a bath tub to shower...would not stay again
Bar food was excellent. And a lovely place to chill.
Beautiful
Everything was perfect
Evening meal excellent, breakfast good just found the trays were not wiped after use before the next customer picked it up. Maybe a bit short staffed on the morning.

Room Quality
7.3/10Mixed. Some guests enjoyed comfortable beds and nice twin rooms; others found bedrooms tired, drab or mismatched to their booking, rooms next to kitchen with cooking smells or facing a stone wall.
