Edencrest B&B

My favourite of all the places we stayed on our trip to Ireland. The view!!! Our hosts were so helpful in giving us top tips of where to go. The breakfast was spectacular. Just perfect!

Es war perfekt! Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen: Obst, Wurst, Käse, Avocado, Joghurt, warme Speisen. Die Gastgeber hilfsbereit mit guten Tipps zu Unternehmungen. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen Wein. 100% Weiterempfehlung!

Tout était parfait. Joséphine et Barry sont super gentils et merci à Barry pour ces conseils. Dommage que notre anglais soit médiocre et ne nous permette pas de plus échanger avec eux. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

The accommodation was extremely comfy and beautiful, almost felt like home. Josephine was a great host who showed us around the night we arrived and made delicious breakfast in the morning (scrambled eggs with salmon and French toast with bacon/maple syrup). Other available breakfast options were also nice (granola/seeds, yoghurt, cold meat/cheese, cottage cheese, fruits, pastry).

Schoon, een goed bed en een uitgebreid ontbijt. Dee gastvrouw is heel hartelijk en geeft fijne informatie

Tolle Gastgeber, leckeres frisch zubereitetes Frühstück, gratis Netflix (v.a. bei Regenwetter praktisch), schöne Lage/Aussicht.

Wie in den meisten B&B auf unserer Reise sind die Türen etwas hellhörig. Wenn man da sehr sensibel ist (Geräusche anderer Gäste in der Früh), sind Ohropax vielleicht von Vorteil. Ansonsten war alles super.

See oli meie kahenädalase reisi kõige mugavam peatumine. Asukoht on Bantry linnakesest veidi eemal aga lähedal oli bensiinijaam ja pood. Toad olid ruumikad ja puhtad, Iirimaa kohta väga suured. Hommikusöök oli maitsev, võõrustajad meeldivad inimesed. Lähedal golf ja meri. Soovitan Edencresti majutust.

Un magnifique Bed & Breakfast ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Edencrest B&B chez Joséphine et Barry. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de convivialité. Un vrai plus pour les motards : le parking est sécurisé et Barry est lui-même motard, ce qui est vraiment appréciable et facilite les choses lorsqu’on voyage à moto. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, impeccablement propres, confortables et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. L’ambiance est chaleureuse et cosy, avec une très belle décoration. On se croirait presque dans un hôtel cinq étoiles ! Et que dire du petit déjeuner préparé par Joséphine et Barry ? Tout simplement succulent ! Tout est préparé avec soin et ils vous cuisinent ce que vous souhaitez. Un vrai régal et une excellente façon de commencer la journée. Vraiment rien à redire : l’accueil, le confort, la propreté, la décoration, le parking sécurisé et le petit déjeuner… tout était parfait. Un grand bravo à Joséphine et Barry, et surtout un grand merci pour votre gentillesse et votre accueil. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans aucune hésitation, particulièrement aux motards ! Parfait du début à la fin. 👏

Tolle Lage aus Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge, Josephine und Barry sind sehr sympathische, hilfsbereite und entgegenkommende Gastgeber, die auch tolle Tipps für Ausflüge haben. Grandioses Frühstück.

Eigentlich war alles gut! Nur der Fußweg in die Stadt z.B. zum Essen war etwas mühsamer als erwartet (bei sehr warmen Wetter).

We had such a lovely stay here and didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, Josephine and Barry made us feel so welcome and couldn’t have done more for us. They made us feel completely at home, and it was obvious they really care about their guests. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of delicious choices to suit everyone. One of the highlights of our stay was chatting with the hosts each morning—they were so friendly and easy to talk to that it felt like we’d known them for years. We couldn’t recommend this B&B highly enough and would definitely love to stay again

This B&B was our favorite of the trip we did along the Wild Atlantic Way. Josephine and Barry were most excellent and welcoming to their B&B. We arrived in some pretty torrential rain, Barry was quick to open up his garage to let us hang our motorbike gear to dry overnight. Parking was private and we could put our 2 motorbikes around the back out of view which we were made up with. The recommendations for where to eat / drink in Bantry were spot on and the Breakfast in the morning was out of this world. Followed by a brilliant suggested route by Barry on which way we should travel on our bikes up to Killarney which made it one of our favorite riding days. Would 100% stay at Edencrest again.

I booked this stay for my parents and they both loved their stay. Josephine was a fabulous hostess and everything was perfect. The room was beautiful with stunning views of Bantry Bay. Breakfast each morning was lovely with a fantastic selection.

Our stay at Edencrest was a joy! Josephine was the perfect host as was Barry who drove us to our restaurant when we couldn’t get a taxi. We were made to feel very welcome, cleanliness was excellent, breakfast very tasty and plentiful.

Mooie uitzicht en het bubbelbad was heerlijk op de kamer. De gastvrouw was erg aardig en gezellig. We hadden keuzes voor het ontbijt en de scones waren ook heerlijk.

Josephine and Barry have a beautifully appointed home. They are the most charming of hosts and offer the warmest welcome imaginable. They kindly offered us information and advice about local attractions which was solid gold Their rooms are extremely comfortable, well appointed and the standard of cleanliness is exceptional.

Nothing at all, even a bit of rain added to the atmosphere of South Western Ireland. They say the rain keeps Ireland "Green" and it seem to work...

The welcome from Josephine was exceptionally friendly and set the scene for our stay. Barry recommended two trips to us, both of which were amazing. The room was spacious, well decorated and extremely comfortable, there was the bonus of the visitors lounge, which although we didn’t use, was good to know was there if we’d wanted to.

Alleine für die Gastgeber würden wir ein weiteres Mal dort übernachten. Wir waren das erste Mal in einem B&B und der Aufenthalt dort hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Zimmer waren liebevoll eingerichtet und das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich. Es hat Parkplätze direkt bei der Unterkunft.

Josephine and Barry were wonderful hosts and looked after us so well. There was a beautiful view of Bantry bay from our room and the resident's comfy lounge. The breakfasts were brilliant. Plenty of choice for vegetarian and beautifully cooked.

I liked that the property was easy to find, close to the town and easy access for the festival.

I find it too hot with a 15 tog duvet (I should remember to bring my travel one) and, with the window open, the constant barking of dogs from the nearby farm was annoying though I realise the owners can't be expected to do anything about it.

Nous avons adoré la grande chambre avec son dressing. Hôte très aimable qui s'est chargée de nous réserver l'excellent restaurant Dinemark West Restaurant à proximité. Petit-déjeuner superbe avec du choix.

De gastvrouw en gastheer waren zeer vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was super, vooral de zelfgemaakte scones. De kamer was picobello in orde.

We got a specious room with a view over the Bantry bay. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and charming. No words to express how friendly and welcoming and helpful our hosts were. Thank you both Josephine and Barry. All was wonderful - beautiful house and front garden, tasty breakfast and the most welcoming hosts. Free car park at the place, which was quite important for visitors. On the other hand, Bantry is a charming town and the perfect starting point to explore West Cork, the Sheep's Head loop (drive and walk to the lighthouse), as well as the ring of Beara. All these sights are just amazing, especially for nature-lovers - stunning views all around. We were extremely lucky with the weather, having perfect sunshine and blue skies most of the six days we spent there. Highly recommended to everyone, you will not be disappointed!!! The Eden Crest is now in our list of favorite places to stay at. One of the best we have ever been to, and we will be back for sure.

The hostess was absolutely lovely and engaging. She was very helpful in assisting us finding places to go and eat, including the local sites of interest. I have never been to this part of Ireland before and the friendliness of the people and sites to see were extremely enjoyable. The choice of food for breakfast was excellent and I really enjoyed my time there. I do intend to go back again.

We enjoyed our stay here with very welcoming hosts. This B&B is on a main through road, a little bit out of town, the place is set back from the road, so no road noise. Our room was of a good size & had a sea view, it was very clean & comfortable with good facilities & a lovely shower room. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely recommend Edencrest.

OG, alles sehr sauber und neuwertig. Klasse irisches Frühstück, dazu Käse, Wurst, Obst, Joghurt. Hat großen Spaß in dem Haus gemacht.

Charming B&B in a nice location. The welcome was genuinely warm. Excellent nearby restaurants recommended by Josephine. The breakfast (I had the full Irish ;-) ) was generous and delicious. Spacious, very quiet room with extremely comfortable bedding. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
