It was nice and clean, breakfast was great and room was clean and comfortable.

The parking garage, ($20 parking per day fee) horrible small spaces. I have a ford escape and couldn’t find a spot big enough. My daughter had to climb out the back because she couldn’t open the door. There was pillars in spaces and you can see where people have rubbed their cars.

The room was super clean and new, feels like renovation just happened. And it’s enough space in room with two queen beds and tasty breakfast

The breakfast staff was nice.

I left early and the woman in the front said that they would process my refund for the remaining time I did not stay there. Haven’t heard from them in over a month. Currently challenging that case.

The young lady who handled the front desk was very nice when checking in and answered all my questions. Our room was spacious and the king beds were comfortable. The AC worked really good. The bathroom has hand soap and hand cream. The shower have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. All are Dove brand.

The walls are paper thin. You could hear everything. You could even hear what’s going on outside the hotel and inside the halls. You can hear when another room uses the shower and toilet. They need new pillows, they are very flat. They also charge a parking fee. In other reviews they charged from $10 to $20 a night. Our was more then $20 just for one night, so I’m not sure if they just charge random amounts instead of a set amount.

Our room had a sink next to the coffee pot that did not have a faucet. And the description of the room did not match what we got.

The room was a little small. I feel that the parking should be included in the price of the room. The breakfast dining area was quite crowded. Not everyone could sit down with their food.

Abbiamo soggiornato 1 notte in 3 persone. Camera spaziosa con due letti matrimoniali. Ben organizzata, ampi spazi per appoggiare valigie. Bagno nuovo e grande. Molto pulito. In tutto il viaggio abbiamo cambiato 15 strutture questa è stata una delle migliori… finalmente una senza mouquette.

The underground parking. It kept the car cool. Easy and quick access to HWY 1, 9 and 17. The exercise room. The mattress. No motion detector for the bathroom.

Parking lot set up is Terrible! Neighbors would NOT police their kids (loud). Same for guests at the pool our room was right next to. Holiday weekend or not, the room was not worth the money.

Loved how updates and modern everything on the property was. Having breakfast included was a huge plus and I loved the long hours the pool was open.

The location of the property isn’t the best. There is quite a bit of homelessness nearby and the hotel just seemed a little out of place for how nice it was vs the area it was in.

Everything was great. Parking a little tight. But my new truck was safe.

We arrived late at night and were checked in by the security guard. We did not get any information on wifi, breakfast etc. When we asked for a late check out (noon instead of 11 am), the staff at the front desk was rude and we felt discriminated against. She did approve us 30 extra minutes but was very rude.

Not many parking spacious for a large vehicle also I still from the day I stay there have not got my deposit back. That’s very disappointing. I have to wait. They say a month 30 days but I still haven’t got it yet, but it has not been 30 days yet it should be within 24 hours or 5 to 7 business days. That’s ridiculous 30 days never heard

The inside was dirty; the AC wasn’t cool enough. There was a substantial water leak that was raining down from the smoke detectors, and rather than fix it, the staff placed trash cans to collect the water; dumping the trash cans multiple times.

The shower for wheelchair accessible was laid out wrong. Impossible to shower without assistance. The controls were so far from the bench they could not be reached. Also the door in both rooms I booked was extremely difficult to open. Very heavy. It needs adjustment.

I liked the interior design of the room. It was very spacious, and the place was clean.

Actually, I didn’t have any complaints, but I was hoping the pool would be heated in the morning. I’m not sure if it was heated at night, but it would have been nice if it were heated in the morning as well.

That most of it was under renovation and there were no luggage carts.

The room was renovated, very clean, and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was disappointing — the pancake maker was not working and the options were very limited. Also, there were no toiletry packs available (such as a shower cap and cotton swabs), which are usually expected.

The room is spacious, clean, and well-organized. The staff is nice.

The elevator looks quite old. Additionally, during our stay, there was ceiling maintenance on the floor where our room was located, making access inconvenient.

I like the cleanliness of the room and the presentation as well as the environment the staff was super friendly and helpful.

The food wasn’t bad but was alright and could’ve been better and the amenities such as the tv cable and streaming as well were not the best.

The hotel was very clean, modern, and comfortable. The rooms were well organized with convenient amenities like a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was great—close to the beach, downtown Santa Cruz, and many restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice bonus with good options to start the day.

Parking was a little limited, and it can get tight during busy hours. Other than that, the stay was overall very pleasant.

Close to boardwalk.

We especially chose this hotel because it has breakfast. But unfortunately when we went down there were no food in the major containers and no coffee. Also no staff was out to refill the food containers and there was a long line. We did not go down late for breakfast. There was a good hour and a half before the time for breakfast would end. We had to little ones and we all left hungry.

Our overnight stay was great. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. By far the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Keep up the great work Holiday Inn Express.

The only 2 complaints I had for our particular room was the bathroom fan was very loud and the bed was very noisy. Anytime you moved it creaked and was very loud. The mattress could have been better.

Room was very cold, and quite slow to warm up. Bathroom floor was icy all night. Carpet in room was quite dirty, and the bathroom was not clean.

We were able to check in early but had to take a room on the 2nd floor. The breakfast spread was excellent. The pool was lovely and peaceful when I had a swim one night at 9:00.

Our room on the 2nd floor was underneath a bunch of teenagers there for a sport tournament and we were woken by loud bonking noises from 7AM onwards.

Hotel needs updates. Staff is friendly.

The breakfast was solid the hotel is being renovated but only issue I had on the second floor is the furniture was wore out. Though they brought me a good chair and provided good service.
