Perfect for families - 14 swimming pools, evening activities and access to the beach!

On arrival we were told we received an "upgrade" from a "T1 to a T2" room. What we met was a very dated - but clean and functional - room. The breakfast is great. The buffet dinner experience can be challenging though. Not well-organised, lots of people queuing for food stations they're not interested in, something that could be solved with useful communication from staff - became quite an endurance event.

Lots to do! Breakfast was very good! My kids loved the kids pools and playgrounds throughout the resort.

The bed was a little hard for me personally.

O quarto era espaçoso e confortável. As piscinas e espaços comuns grandes e agradáveis e limpos.

As refeições eram um verdadeiro exercício de paciência. Não havia capacidade para servir tanta gente. Esperas demasiado longas para chegar à comida. Quintas e domingos não fazem limpeza nos quartos.

The swimming pool and beach were beautuful

When we went in may our room was lovely so we paid for the same type of room, unfortunely we didnt get what we paid for. We were meant to have a garden view and got a concrete roof full of rubbish as our view and a smelly toilet

Por decir algo, la playa a la que se accede desde el hotel.

Las instalaciones, las piscinas, el entorno de la urbanización estaba genial, muy cuidado.

Para 4 personas el apartamento apenas tenía almacenamiento de ropa. El sofa-cama era incómodo. Las hamacas de la piscina estaban sucias. El entorno de la urbanización, en especial Santa Eulalia, una pena, arruinados por el turismo juvenil de farra y pachanga.

Wir waren im Prestige untergebracht... Sehr geräumige Zimmer! Gute Ausstattung! Tolle Pool-Landschaften! Sehr gepflegte Anlage! Man kann sich innerhalb der Alfagar-Hotels frei bewegen und hat daher jede Menge Abwechslung. Frühstück war gut, allerdings stark englisch geprägt! Preis 16.- Erwachsener und 8.- Kinder angemessen Bis 09:00 sehr entspannt und danach wird es sehr voll und unentspannt. Abendessen nicht genutzt! Am Fußballplatz war immer was los und wir hatten viel Spaß

Freitags+Sonntags keine Reinigung! Finde ich grundsätzlich kein Problem, sollte allerdings deutlicher kommuniziert werden. Bis zum Strand zieht es sich doch ein wenig, aber es lohnt sich. Der Wasserdruck der Rutschen ist ein Witz und man kommt kaum vorwärts. Die Animation war eher durchschnittlich.

So much entertainment throughout the stay! Staff are so lovely, breakfast is great, and the facilities and overall the whole complex is amazing, clean and lots to do!

For a 4* hotel, very bad bed, with a hole in the mattress. Half board, but at dinner drinks are paid separately, water was not even included. You need to pay when leaving the restaurant, nor could it be added at checkout. We still had to wait in line both to pay and to enter the restaurant with a small kid (parents can imagine the stress). the restaurant is small for the amount of people and very poorly organized. circulation area and buffet service in the same space, it is super uncomfortable to be sitting and have people walking around us. Heated pool was actually cold, and a second heated pool had a horrible smell, we couldn’t even stand there. Pool towels also cost €5 each, and we also had to give a cash deposit. The kids club is also paid separately, by cash and no receipt. I rather prefer to pay more but have everything included, with all this paying and waiting stress.

Alles is zeer schoon en een mooi hotel.

Large flat , great pool facilities , relatively close to beach

Onsite parking was a challenge.

The location was excellent, and our room was big and spacious, with a lovely balcony that had two sun loungers- perfect for relaxing. There are also lots of swimming pools around the hotel, which meant that even when it was busy, we could always find a sun lounger. The beautiful green grounds were another highlight, and the hotel has plenty of facilities for families, including a football pitch and tennis courts.

The main downside for us was the restaurant and the queues. We’ve stayed in quite a few hotels before, but this was the first time we’ve ever had to queue to get into the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The food itself was good, but it seemed very clear that the restaurant simply isn’t large enough to accommodate the number of guests at busy times. One evening, I also queued for around 10 minutes to get some pork cooked on the grill, only to be given two pieces that were both clearly undercooked and still pink in the middle. As it was pork, this was particularly concerning from a food-safety perspective. I would strongly recommend that the hotel pays more attention to ensuring grilled meat is cooked properly.

Les différentes piscines car il y avait des piscines calmes.

La chambre où nous étions était au dessus du red bar, difficultés à dormir car bruyant. Les musiques du club enfant le soir qui étaient toujours les mêmes et adressées à des enfants en bas âge donc les miens ce sont ennuyés de ce côté là. Très peu de personnel parlent Français.

Fourth year returning as a family and really enjoyed our stay again. Great facilities and pools for kids, with gorgeous beaches nearby.

Plenty of pools all really nice, loads of games for children & adults to take part in, plenty of sun beds at the pools, entertainment at night & lovely restaurants on the resort.

Lots of pools which the kids enjoyed a lot

The hotel charge you for everything (from pool towels, kids club, activities, and even the tap water at the inclusive dinner). The parrot show and reptile show are okay but wasn’t too impressed when they only started 30mins after the advertised time (this was mainly because they take photos of the kids and the animal, which is again chargeable) The staff could be a bit more friendly and hospitable.

Matelas hors du temps. On s'enfonce sur le milieu. Confort très médiocre. Une honte pour un bâtiment rénové. Petit déjeuner médiocre et peu de choix. On a la même chose tous les jours. Rien de local. On pourrait être dans un autre pays.. Demi pension à volonté avec très peu de choix et non savoureux. Pas de véritable cuisine mais du réchauffé. Pas de produits locaux. Tarif par nuit trés cher en été pour le Portugal pour une prestation très moyenne. La note sur Booking ne reflète pas du tout la réalité. Nous sommes très surpris. Les piscines ne sont pas chauffées, eaux très très froides. Serviettes payantes et renouvellement payante. Au bout de 5 jours nos serviettes sentaient le moisi. C'est la première fois qu'un hotel nous fait payer la mise à disposition et le renouvellement. Une honte pour des nuitée hors de prix Nous n'avons pas eu de ménage tous les jours

Pools are great. Beach "Santa Eulia" near to the hotel is not so great.

We had been told that tubes are not allowed , so we did not bring any tubes with us but when we arrived there , we found that almost every one was floating in the pools on tubes. So we then had to buy one from mini market.

No tanto no me gustó sino no era como lo esperábamos por las fotos. Los toboganes nos parecieron más infantiles que lo que esperábamos

Love the location, the facilities, the space, the access to the beach, Pilates class every morning. Would highly recommend. Lots of families returning, it was our second time as a family of 4, (2 late teens)

Apartamento sombrio, sem luz direta. Colchões e almofadas péssimos. Pequeno-almoço industrial, com muito pouca variedade de pão. Jantar sofrível. Para o que se paga, é uma desilusão.

Um dia não arrumaram o quarto.

Struttura meravigliosa, staff gentile e preparato, animazione simpatica e non invadente, nessuna ressa o coda, accesso alla spiaggia e ristorante ottimo. Bravi

Alcune cose, in particolare per bambini, sono a pagamento. Lo trovo fastidioso che alcuni giochi (gonfiabili, truccatori, sfera gioco piscina) richiedano extra. Capisco per tennis o padel, ma per piccole attività per i bambini no (foto con i rettili… 15 euro). Avrei preferito lasciare mancia ai ragazzi.

Great facilities and friendly staff a good selection of restaurants and the newer buffet restaurant in Prestige was clean and well stocked. A total of 19 different pool options was very unexpected. We have special dietary requirements needing gluten-free options which were available at some of the catering outlets.

Some of the external facades are in need of repairs - green matting at the base of the hotel. Limited children's options which were gluten-free - both pool bars had no options that were gluten-free.

Las instalaciones muy bien. Habitaciones grandes, limpias y muy bien equipadas. Los recepcionistas atentos y amables, excepto uno. Te puedes mover por todas las piscinas del complejo. Muy tranquilo, no se si por la época que era.

Los precios de las bebidas en el restaurante son un robo. 4,80 una botella de agua rellenada del grifo porque venían abiertas y una botella de agua pequeña 2,20 en el bar me parece una estafa. Lo barato de la estancia lo compensan con los precios abusivos en las bebidas. Ni un solo socorrista en todo el complejo. A la llegada el recepcionista nos dio unas indicaciones, una noche al ir a confirmarlo, de malas maneras el recepcionista que había nos indicó lo contrario. Estaba allí también el recepcionista del primer día pero no quiso llevarle la contraria al compañero que hablaba de malos modos ni nosotros dejar a este con el culo al aire. Entiendo que ni entre ellos tengan algunas cosas claras, pero no tiene que hablar de malas formas por no querer hacer una consulta. El bufet en la cena muy pobre, poca variedad. Los desayunos mejor.

Ruido da animação das atividades da piscina e noturna do hotel, com musica e voz muito altas nos sistemas de som, sobretudo para quem tem criancas pequenas e dorme a sesta e deita cedo à noite. O quarto era vira para as piscinas e palco de espetáculos à noite.

I found the whole complex to be exactly what we needed, very secure, the staff were extremely friendly. All the pools were very accessible and never over crowded. The food in the restaurants was amazing. The evening entertainment was great for the kids. Our daughter loved all the musical themes and our son loved the evening football.

There wasn't really anything that we didn't like.

Alojamiento espectacular para ir con niños, tiene todo lo necesario. Trato del personal impecable. Es la primera vez que vamos pero sin duda repetiremos.

Apartment was comfortable and had a high rise sea view. Beds were comfortable. 14 pools in property with water rides and enjoyed a lot with kids.

Svæðið mjög flott og stórt. Gaman að geta valið sundlaugasvæði, hægt að vera þar sem er alls konar skemmtanir eða fara á rólegra svæði. Stutt labb á góða strönd. Allt var mjög hreint og snyrtilegt og starfsfólkið vinalegt. Mæli mikið með.

Kids pool and slides was great for 3 year old, lots of loungers and shade available throughout the day (no morning rush), useful Mini Market on site, nice staff. Apartment really spacious with nice big balcony.

Walk to the beach was further than expected, and difficult to navigate back to the hotel at high tide.

The laundry service was a little disappointing

Amazing stay at the Alfagar Prestige, room was spotless, staff very helpful and super friendly. Food, staff and atmosphere in the on site Cafeteria restaurant were top class. Already planning to book for next year!!

Tudo muito dirigido a publico ingles, nomeadamente os horários da animação que começam na hora de jantar dos portugueses. Pequeno almoço pouco variado e com pouca variedade de pao. Colchão demasiado mole e desconfortável para a região lombar.

L'hôtel est incroyable, nous avons découvert des piscines supplémentaires chaque jour. Pour les enfants c'est vraiment super et pour les adultes c'est beaucoup de repos entre les activités sportives, les repas buffet délicieux et la plage au bout de l'hôtel. Idéalement situé même si on aurait presque envie de ne pas sortir tant l'hôtel réserve de nombreux équipements

l'eau des piscines pourraient être un chouille plus chaude mais une fois dedans on s'y fait

The apartment was clean, big enough for a family of four and the staff were amazing. The facilities were exceptional and family friendly. We booked half board and the food was amazing; they had a different theme each night for dinner. The kids enjoyed it and we won't mind visiting again if we were ever in that area of Albufeira.

we had a great stay here! location of the hotel is perfect here! the hotel itself is huge, with a lot of things in it, bars, pools, gyms, playgrounds etc.

the room itself was good in general, but sometimes there was a smell from the sewer in the balcony and birds got stuck in the ventilation on the kitchen and were making a lot of noise

This is a lovely group of hotels / apartments / villa's where you can use all facilities of all properties.
