Pues no me gusto que no nos dejarán entrar antes, ya que se lo comunicamos que llevabamos comida y se no puso mala, tuvimos que comprar de nuevo en el súper que nos recomendaron y nos resultó carisimo, después había hormigas en la cocina y en uno de los baños, un grifo de la ducha roto, una lámpara del patio también rota y después íbamos con niños y nos dieron una habitación lejos de las 6 piscinas que tienen. Lo que nos hizo coger el coche para llevar años niño a la piscina.. Nada cómodo la verdad.

We had 2 apartments, a ground floor 3 bed and an upstairs 2 bed. Apartment was clean but in no way superior. Was cleaned, fresh bedding and towels 2 days into 4 night stay. Pool bar / pizzeria fantastic, especially Jen that’s very helpful and friendly, she’s definitely the best asset.

Socket hanging off wall in lounge. Couldn’t get iron out . Phoned twice to get it sorted. Iron broke. No cushions for outdoor sofa. Canopy non existent, only tatters left. Outdoor table broken. MILES away walking from reception and way out to other shops/ restaurants. A good 29 min walk with a 1 year old and a 80 year old in our party. Drainage smell in bathroom ground floor and ants.

Good size and had everything we needed.

The electrics in the main bedroom were shorting and AC rattled. The main sofa was stained and there was an odd smell in the kitchen ( cat ?)

Really nice place, the apartment was nice and big for 5 people.

The staff, their very so unfriendly, unhelpful, slow, the check out took 40 minutes. They made us feel bad about certain things

I have stayed here on 2 previous occasions it is lovely complex and a nice place to stay, with a local beach, Spa from snacks, food and water where needed. There is an intermarche about 15 mins walk. There are nearby restaurants once you go walking and the property is close enough to the old town and nearby restaurants. There are a number of pools for children, tennis hire, kids club and amenities.

On this occasion the property was not as clean as expected, I had to wash pots and pans, cutlery and plates before using. The shower curtains needed to be changed as they were very old and there appears build up in the bottom part that gets wet in the bath. I noticed that the tiles appeared to have staining on the grout. It was Disappointing as this is nice area to stay and the cost is higher. Previous stays have been good though we were located further into the Villiage. Im unclear if the villas are all owned by Balaia or owned privately then released by booking/Balaia. On departure I lost a bag in the luggage room, it could not be located by staff so be careful to lock your items up if using the luggage room. I’m unclear whether this was staffing of other room users. Beware.

O apartamento tem tudo que é necessário! Limpeza óptima e está bem equipado para o serviço diário de umas habitação! Local agradável para uma boas férias família! Recomendo!

Gostei do apartamento e das piscinas. Staff simpático de forma geral.

Dou nota negativa como forma de protesto, reservei apenas por uma noite e com checkin às 17.00!!! E check out às 10.00!! Qual o tempo que o hotel oferece para que possamos usar o espaço!?

Algumas coisas deterioradas

Muito boas instalações, com espaços exteriores cuidados. Supermercado e farmácia perto, campo de volei e de tenis, piscina interior e ginásio.

Apenas falhou a troca de toalhas. No primeiro dia em que iam trocar dissemos que ainda não era preciso e posteriormente quando pedimos, disseram-nos que não era dia de trocar toalhas. Só depois de 4 telefonemas aceitaram que fossemos buscar as toalhas.

Máquina de lavar louça não funcionava. E Estava mesmo desligada. Ou seja já sabiam e não corrigiram… Não respondiam aos nossos pedidos por e-mail. E a fatura vinha com valores errados

O resort é muito bonito ! Boas piscinas, lindos jardins, facilidades dentro do condominio...havia uma pequena mercearia, padaria e restaurantes com preços razoáveis. Estacionamento fácil e diante das unidades da acomodação.

As unidades (apartamentos) precisam de uma manutenção geral. Portas, janelas e armarios sao muito velhos e alguns com defeitos. Os móveis são razoáveis, mas poderiam ser melhores. Os equpsamentos de cozinha são muito velhos.. Aa Máquina de lavar e secar.toupas muito antigas e ccom defeitos. O local é lindo, e os funcionários muito educados e prestativos. Por isto acho que o Resort merece que os apartamentos que nos hospedarm sejam de melhor qualidade !

Le logement est spacieux et confortable. Nous avons aimé la grande terrasse avec transat, la piscine suffisamment grande pour nager et profiter. Le site est arboré et très bien entretenu, un court séjour très agréable.

The property is very spacious and quite nice. We liked the golf course and also the different pools. The whole property is well kept only our apartment was quite old and needs some renovation and refurbishing.

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed at Balaia Golf village, our 1st time was in 2014. We had a spacious 2 bedroom apartment ideal for 2 adults and 2 (now teenager) children. Fully equipped kitchen to make nice breakfast and light lunch whilst the kids swim in the pools they have all over the complex. We stayed for a week and enjoy our stay each time. We do a road trip from the UK, there’s plenty of parking. The apartments are never far from a swimming pool, this time we had a view of the golf course that we asked for. Restaurants are a 2-5 minute taxi ride away or 30 minutes walk in both directions out of the complex. Apartments were cleaned every couple of days and they have invested in super soft towels!!!

The apartments have remained the same since we 1st stayed in 2014 and need modernisation but other than that they are big, spacious, clean and perfect for holiday.

O que não gostei foi porque alugamos o apartamento através da Home Holidays e o Sr Dinis.P que era o intermediário de contato para nos ajudar a resolver e solucionar alguns problemas que tivemos com o Check in não teve a capacidade de ajudar nem de solucionar. Entrámos no apartamento 1 Hora depois de estarmos no local e teve de ser outra colega a falar conosco tudo através do tlm. Tínhamos crianças e foi muito mau. O condomínio é muito bom mas depois estas situações prejudicaram e causaram um grande transtorno emocional as crianças que já estavam a chorar,onde deveria de ser um momento de desfrutar e de descanso. Foi um stress muito grande e mais o valor que nos cobraram de caução e que ainda não retomou na conta é um roubo. Por isso ficamos muito decessionados.

Deram a chave muito tarde perto da noite e no dia a seguir tinha que sair muito cedo.

The place is so nice near to the restaurants and supermarket.. a lot of swimming pools to enjoy..

I liked the fact that we have view to the pool and we had direct access to the pool from our living room.

The only aspect is that we need to walk a bit to go to the beach regarding the location.

No aircon only 2 fans in the rooms. A lot of rude staff reception and in the bistro who seem to either hate their job or hate tourists. The breakfast was cold . All the food served was cold .

Chegar de manhã cedo às piscinas e ter as espreguiçadeira reservafas com toalhas mas sem pessoas não havendo especa para nós!! Esses mesmas pessoas só começavam a chegar, algumas, perto das.12h!!! Via-se os hóspedes a chegar e como não tinham espreguiçadeira disponíveis acabaval por se ir embora!! Acomteceu_ oaa constantemente!!!! Apenas podemos ou temos isto a apontar porque de resto o que não esta a bem prontamente a recepção tratou de colocar rapidamente.

Pouca luz nos jardins o que torna difícil caminhar até chegar ao apartamento durante a noite.

El check in es a las 17 hs y el check out a las 10h no te informan de eso y te bloquean la habitación. Me parece absurdo que sea tan tarde el ingreso y tan temprano la salida. Uno paga por menos de 20h

Vores placering i forhold til poolen. Derudover en stor dejlig lejlighed der dog bar præg af at være gammel og slidt. Fryseren virkede ikke, afløb stoppede, sofa helt i stykker osv.

Fik overboer der åbenlyst røg hash flere gange dagligt som lugtede tydeligt ned til os. Det er mærkeligt og usikkert pl et familiehotel. Familien havde selv børn med. De hørte også højt musik som dog heldigvis ikke kunne høres indendørs.

Da qualidade e variedade da comida na restauração. O bufete era de baixa qualidade. As pizas eram boas, mas naonexcelentes.

Lovely pools, golf course and general surroundings. Very clean. Very safe and nice little restaurants for lunch. Supermarket just next door was very handy. lovely beach nearby. Staff at the restaurants were helpful especially Tiana who went above and beyond to always get us whatever we needed and was so kind and friendly.

Customer service is bad. I asked 3 times, twice at reception and once via their WhatsApp chat, for the broken plug-in fan in the living room to be exchanged for a working one as there is no air conditioning in the apartments and my daughter has to sleep on the sofa bed there. It was 33 degrees. I was repeatedly told “Maintenance have been informed”. Well “Maintenance” Im afraid did nothing. It is not acceptable to effectively tell me it’s a maintenace issue and leave it at that Also the ceiling fan in my sons’ bedroom did not work (although the plug in one did in that room ). It really ruined my daughter’s holiday as she could not sleep properly.

Infelizmente não chegamos a usufruir do fim de semana. A caminho, em plena A2, o carro teve um problema mecanico que o reboque não resolveu e tivemos de regressar a casa de taxi. Contactamos o hotel Balaia Golf Village e explicamos o problema inusitado. A informação que nos deram foi que iam tentar devolver 50% da despesa. Mas para nossa surpresa devolveram 100%. Tudo! Ficou no coração e na memória. E voltaremos, quanto mais não seja pela atenção e profissionalismo, para conhecer o Balaia Golf Village. Está prometido pela família Cunha.

Good choice of pools

The staff were quite incompetent and often unprofessional

It was cheap and cheerful

Some of the staff were rude, not very friendly or helpful. You have to walk around the whole complex with your bags and nobody shows you where to go. There is also no signage anywhere so it’s really hard to find your way around. The pool bar was closed on a Monday in peak holiday season. The complex is fine and clean but definitely needs an upgrade.

Don't get me wrong the resort is fantastic, but room 118 is horrendous and the room next door is even worse. They offered us another room saying it was the only one available and that wasn't much better. There looked better rooms available as well. So other than the room being horrendous everything else was good.

O apartmento que nos foi alocado , não tinha a TV a funcionar, não tinha o fogão e o exaustor a funcionar , quisemos fazer o jantar e na receção não nos deram solução, referiram que esse asunto era da área do Housekeeping responsaveis pela verificação ... so na 2ª interação com a receção ´+e que nos foi dada a solução de quase à meia noite mudarmos de apartamento ...

A great hotel with amazing apartments that were spacious and very clean. The bar staff were helpful and attentive, and the pool areas were spotless.

Unfortunately, the reception personnel were not very helpful, which was disappointing

A vila não gostei da localização, da limpeza, a chaleira muito suja por dentro, não tinha gel de banho nas nossas casas de banho , o ar condicionado muito fraco , um dos quartos de cama nem tinha ar condicionado e éramos 2 casais. Na receção embora muito muito simpática a menina não sabia explicar como chegar às vilas. Éramos um grupo pedimos a meses se podia nos por o mais perto possível , e estávamos muito longe . Ve se nem houve vontade de tentar. Estive em setembro 2025 no 204 aqui no Balaia golfe village e adoramos por isso convencemos este grupo a vir com a gente desta vez. Os colchões são dos piores que já me deitei em cima muito mole e desconfortável e os lençóis pequenos para a cama. Os candeeiros de mesa de cabeceira partidos . Para um alojamento de 4 estrelas não fica bem . A cozinha bem equipada e limpa memos a chaleira . A parte exterior muito bem cuidado e as piscinas o restaurante muito bom e bons preços. O pessoal simpático . Precisavam mesmo investir nas vilas e um pouco mais limpeza.

Positive aspects: a good location, many swimming pools, and friendly staff. Overall, the resort has everything needed for a comfortable long-term stay with children.

The room had a very old coffee machine. When we asked if it would be possible to provide a more modern capsule coffee machine, we were told they would try to find one. However, in the end, nobody brought us anything. On one of the days, around 11:30 a.m., while guests were relaxing by the pool, the staff came to remove leaves from the pool and vacuum the surrounding area. They even asked people to get up from their sunbeds. This felt quite unusual, as such maintenance is normally carried out early in the morning before guests start using the pool area.

We had a lovely stay at Balaia, our apartment was comfortable and spacious with everything we needed, kids loved all of the pools on site and the tennis courts. The restaurants were very nice and the location was ideal, quiet on site but close enough to everything around us.

Hotel grounds were very pleasant and well kept.

We had apartment 760 which was clean but dated and a refurb is overdue. We had the added benefit of a huge balcony with all day sunshine.! Apartment sleeps 5 but only 2 sun beds on the balcony which could be an issue for some parties. It was fine for us though.

We have been many times and will continue to return, it is a lovely complex, great value and size apartments. Also found another new pool this time which had a great atmosphere.

A poor experience with staff member at breakfast one morning but that was very unusual.

Really good size two bedroom apartment was perfect for our four night stay in Albuferia. The apartment was very clean and having two bathrooms was a bonus. When we arrived first there was no hot water but this was quickly rectified by staff the following morning. The pools and gym facility were extra bonuses. Very good value for money.

The apartment blocks could have better sign posted as it was difficult to find especially when it was dark. The staff at the main pool restaurant could have been more approachable.

Grand appartement très bien situé, bien équipé, calme, belle vue, avec une terrasse agréable et ensoleillée, proche d’une piscine, proche de la supérette et de la réception. Parc très bien entretenu avec de très belles fleurs.

Certains jours il y avait des vacanciers très bruyants autour de la piscine, ils parlaient très fort et riaient beaucoup et très fort. Impossible de se détendre au bord de la piscine. Il y a eu aussi quelques jeunes qui jouaient au ballon autour de la piscine.

Balaia is a perfect place to stay
