Reviewed Jul 15, 2026I used to remember it as an old and smelly hotel, but now the rooms look bright and spacious. The breakfast is not bad. I can't say wonderful , but it is valuable meals.
The front desk lady staff does not lose her bright smile and responds kindly. But the older man is heavy-handed.

Reviewed May 6, 2026L'emplacement est bon même si éloigné de la forteresse et des différentes choses à voir. Personnel très sympathique mais à part une charmante dame pas toujours présente les autres ne comprenaient rien en anglais. Agréable quartier pour passer la soirée, beaucoup de restaurants dans le coin. Peut-être un endroit plus pour voyageurs en voiture.
Salle de bain avec une grande baignoire difficile d'accès pour personne plus âgée et douche dans celle ci qui inondait toute la piece. Une autre douche à côté ne fonctionnait paset malgré la promesse à la réception d'y regarder rien n'a changé.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026가성비와 가심비 모두 좋았던 숙소였습니다. 시설이 깨끗해서 좋았고 룸이나 욕실 공간이 생각보다 넓어 불현함이 없었어요. 우리의 여행지와 거리는 조금 있긴 했지만 대학교 주변이라 걸어나가서 저녁 식사 및 간단히 한 잔하기에 좋았던 것 같아요. 재방문 의사를 묻는다면 당연히 오케이입니다.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2025The room was large and comfy, facilities were clean. Front staff was very kind and there was a vending macine and coffee machine in the lobby for when we got back to the hotel late at night. This was good as there arent many convenience stores around.
We travelled in peak winter (heaviest snow of the season) and the heating was unbearably high. When asked, the staff suggested we sleep with a window opened or turn on the air con, since there was no room-specific control to the heating. Also, the bathtub was leaking slightly, but nothing too much. Aside from these 2 issues, the stay couldnt have been smoother.

Bedrooms were not ready and reception wasn’t aware. They sent us to dirty rooms (2 of 3 rooms) which we had to point out. This was quickly resolved but was a bad first impression.

My only complaint is that the bedsheets in one of the beds had multiple stains on them. You could tell they were clean though.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2016My room was in the Amour tower and was very comfortable, though there was no window so it felt very closed in. Other than that, it did exactly what I needed. Bed was harder, in the Korean tradition, but very comfortable. The floors were heated which was nice. The large jacuzzi tub was nice for a soak. For the price and location, I was very happy with my stay.

Reviewed Nov 15, 2011Probably best business hotel in Suwon that I stayed. Well priced, close to many food places, supermarket and shopping. Nice stakehouse across the main road with very decent food to european standards. Airport Express bus will take you very close to the hotel, which is located across the road on the other side of the block. When looking for the hotel dont try to explain to the taxi driver the address. Just tell him HOTEL AMOUR - that will be much easier. Decent buffet breakfast was included in the package and most of the selection changed every morning which was good. Staff extremely friendly that even lack of english wasnt a big problem. Rooms very cleaned regularly, but sometimes room service would forget to do one thing or another. Simple phone call to the reception will sort that out quickly. Fridge had complimentary x2 small bottles of water and x2 fruit drinks everyday. I was staying with 1 guest, but only 1 body towel was provided. The only draw back is distance to Seoul downtown. Cheapest and fastest way to get to the city and back is buses, because they use bus lanes and get there reasonably fast even during the traffic hours.

Reviewed May 30, 2009Wonderful hotel in a vibrant neighborhood in Suwon full of interesting restaurants and bars. The room was very comfortable and quiet with a computer with free internet, which came in handy for keeping in contact with family and work back home. The free breakfast with wonderful Korean dishes was also amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
