It was very convenient to everything. The room was fantastic. The staff were professional and friendly. I used to visit my grandparents in Petawawa every summer as a child till teenager and have fond memories of Petawawa. I was not aware that this Inn and Suites was likely in business years ago when I used to visit, but I was glad I was able to stay close to my grandparent's old home and experience some of the similar feelings while in the Village. I will certainly be back in the future

Located right near the Petawawa river, a few minutes walk to the park. Close to amenities. Clean and spacious rooms.

I have no complaints about my stay, or the facilities.

We had a great stay at the Petawawa River Inn. The owner was at the desk when we checked in. He was really nice to talk with and even upgraded us to a jacuzzi room. This inn is very well located. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. The bathroom was really big. The bed was very comfortable. The price for a night's stay is way lower than the other 2 hotels in town. I would highly recommend this Inn.

Quick check-in and check out. Friendly staff, housekeeper always helpful. Having a corner store, takeout food, bus depot and bar in the same building, always useful.

AC lowest temp was 21.5°C; could use an updated thermostat or full AC upgrade WIFI was very weak, not ideal for video calls or streaming; an upgraded router or access to hard-wired internet in the room would be beneficial

The size of the room was great. And it was very clean.

There was no elevator. But they were able to accommodate us on the first floor.

The towels were stained yellow. I booked a room with a river view according to the listing funny thing thiugh there was no river view.

The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The water pressure and towels were good too.

Someone had a key to our room and tried to come in at 5:25 am. The walls and ceiling lack effective noise-blocking insulation. After people tried to get in, they stayed outside the door and in the corridor, talking for an extended time. Sleep was not an option for quite a while. There was tea and coffee in the room, but no kettle or coffee pot.

Heat in room was not good

Excellent location. The hotel is situated near several amenities that are within walking distance or within a short drive. It has a restaurant located on the first floor that offers a 20% discount to registered guests. And compared to hotels in Pembroke, I got a better rate than what they offered. Also, it's always nice to have a mini fridge in the room, and a telephone that works!!!

It would be nice if the hotel was surrounded by trees, but that would be asking too much.

Perfect location for my needs, beautiful centennial park close by, very clean room, I was very impressed, the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

It’s a very nice place. Central in Petawawa, it has everything you need. You get a discount at the bar/restaurant next door and the staff is absolutely great. I stayed there several nights and they were super helpful and friendly. A great place to stay. It was quiet, comfortable beds and clean rooms.

The cleanest motel we have ever stayed in, our room was absolutely spotless. Staff was excellent, very accommodating with any requests. Stayed 2 nights the 29th and 30th of September. No continental breakfast, but free coffee in the morning at the attached store, and 20% discount at The Boulevard pub and grill, along with a free game of pool.Great food, friendly staff, a very nice pub. Also 20% discount at Greco Pizzeria. All courtesy of Petawawa River Inn and suites. Highly recommended motel. What is not highly recommended is Booking.com. I will never use this underhanded site again. The website creates mistakes that you cannot edit, and then will do nothing about it. Avoid this company like the plague.

It was cozy! We were first in a room that had a funky smell, when I went to the front desk, they immediately upgraded us to the king suite. It was a wonderful night! I wish we were staying longer.

the staff were very attentive to make the experience comfortable..including the attached store and " The Blvd" attached pub/ restaurant. Unfortunately a flu bug had inflicted many of their staff leaving them short staffed.But they hustled to keep everything in order. if your looking for a fancy hotel, this is not it. Karen's need not book their stay here.

No suits. no ties. warm friendly people who catered to our needs. no accents. the store/ bar and restaurant were a huge plus. everything we needed in one location. the pillows are big and soft. they could have used more mats in the stairwell and doorways..they may have been in cleaning due to staff shortages.

Notre première nuit nous n'avons presque pas dormi. Le bar juste à côté de notre chambre 308 faisait un vacarme épouvantable. J'ai dormi 3 heures dans toute ma nuit. Le deuxième soir, nous avons mis des bouchons pour les oreilles et cela a été correct. La cafetière ne fonctionnait pas et le réservoir à eau était crasseux. Cafetière à changer.

Couldn't get the A/C to work and no window to open. Otherwise, fantastic!

Staff were not accommodating when we learned there wasn't an elevator to the 2nd floor for a handicapped senior almost 90 years old. Staff did not bother to help in any way.

We booked a room with queen beds. They were double beds. I woke up with bites on my ankle and forearm. No breakfast offered. Next time I will book one of the new hotels down the street!

The room smelled bad, like stuffy mildew. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows smelled old. Very loud ac unit.

It was my first trip to Petewawa to see my son. I called the Hotel to see if I could check in earlier then 3PM on the 12th becasue ny son only had a few hours off after the iron man run. Nicole not only set me up for an early check in she upgraded me to a large suite on the second floor. When I checked in Nicole and Grace were both very profesional, checked me in quickly and we had a few laughs. I'm from a small town on PEI and it felt just like home the way the entire staff there and at the BLVD resturant and bar treated me. My son had to leave earlier then expected back to his base in Gagetown but I decided to stay another night for the second Annual Music Healing Veterans 12 band line all day Saturday and night, and Nicole was working the bar that day. Highly recommedn this place. Overall awesome experince and I will be back next year for the weekend!

Very noisy ventilation A bit outdated

Conveniently located. Dated but clean rooms. Plenty of hot water. Good wifi. Nice amenities (attached to a convenience store and sub shop). Fridge nice and cold - prebagged ice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room location (third floor at back of hotel with no lift). Intermittent high-pitched whine came from air con or fridge. Front desk not always manned - involving a lengthy wait until someone turned up or you have to go looking for them.

The Staff at the location were excellent.

They accommodated my wife’s very well and changed the room so it wouldn’t matter. Have a walk up the stairs.

Friendly staff

Pros: Very cheap, good value, location on the main strip, clean room, large room with all we needed, nice staff when they were available (see below). Cons: Pretty dingy/dirty in common areas (rooms were clean), very loud A/C and shower also squeals pretty loud when you use it, service was good when available, but nobody was around in the morning..... They basically have free coffee and a restaurant onsite for breakfast, but neither were actually available/open in the morning until when we checked out at around 9:30am. Overall, the pros out weighed the cons due to the price being so low and the actual rooms being in good condition. If this hotel costed anymore Id just go with a newer/better hotel.

Front desk receptionist, Grace was professional and very nice. Asset to Motel. Attached is a great bar...I ate there and enjoyed the crowd that night.

Coffee maker in room not working, but Grace showed where the free coffee was. Rooms need a refresh.

This place is a little piece of heaven in Petawawa. The staff, the amenities that were all in one place. It’s got a beckers, a pizza joint and a bar all in one spot the rooms are dated but clean! Can’t wait to come back again!

Being Seniors it was a bit tiring climbing the stairs to the 3rd floor, especially carrying luggage. Every other thing was great, from the bar at the back to the food court in front.
