La propreté et l’insonorisation, nous avions une suite famille en dessus de notre chambre sans insonorisation donc réveillés à 6h du matin par des enfants qui courent !

L’hôtel est très bien situé. La station de métro Lucien Lalier vous emmène partout et elle est à 50 mètres de l’hôtel.

We absolutely loved our stay at Auberge Les Bons Matins. From the moment we arrived, it felt like somewhere really special. Our suite was beautiful, full of character and charm, with gorgeous artwork and thoughtful decoration throughout. It was comfortable, welcoming and offered fantastic value for money. A special mention has to go to Sam, who was amazing throughout our stay. We had a couple of small issues, but Sam dealt with everything so quickly and efficiently, nothing was ever too much trouble. His friendly and helpful approach really made a difference. The breakfast service was exemplary. There was a delicious selection of freshly prepared items, and everything we tried was fantastic. The eggs Benedict were definitely my favourite — absolutely delicious! The location is also fantastic. It’s close to the Metro, surrounded by some excellent restaurants, and within walking distance of many of Montreal’s main sights, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. All in all, Auberge Les Bons Matins exceeded our expectations. Beautiful accommodation, wonderful service, delicious breakfast and a brilliant location — all at a very reasonable price. We would happily stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal.

Super Lage! Die nächste U-Bahn Station ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Parkplätze sind direkt bei der Unterkunft vorhanden.

The location is great! We especially love the decor and super comfy bedding.

We did not have control of the AC and had to sleep with the windows open to keep the room cool. This was not ideal due to allergies and neighborhood noise.

The location downtown near the Lucien L'Alliere Metro and Centre Bell were perfect for our needs. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff was lovely and our room was beautiful. Parking was easy and convenient.

The pillows were fat and kind of firm so if you like a flatter or softer pillow, bring one of your own. The hotel is across the street from a train station and the bells from arriving trains are consistent through the day and evening (we were in Suite 705). If that's a concern, request a room on the back side of the building. Also, a fan of some type would have been very welcome on warm days.

J'ai eu une très belle chambre avec une étonnante salle de bain style art déco. Beaucoup oup aimé seul bémol, heureusement que ma chambre était au 1er autrement pas d'ascenseur pour les étages supérieurs.

Sehr gute Lage. Zentral, aber trotzdem ruhig. Nah an der Metro und am Mont Royale. Unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit dem Personal.

Zimmer in historischem Haus in noch akzeptabler Randlage für touristische Zwecke. Sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück- Frühstück und Parkplatz werden zusätzlich berechnet.

Zimmer im Souterain ohne Tageslicht; Fenster nicht zu öffnen. Sehr kleines Bad mit Waschbecken im Zimmer.

You really can’t get there before check-in and if you pull up on the street in front it is a huge pain in the ass to get into the parking out back. Not their fault, but you should be aware.

Location and parking was very handy. The property had all the amenities we needed for a 3 day stay. The décore is unique and colourful.

The stairs leading up to this apartment are steep with little room to am duvet luggage or bags. It’s on the third floor. First two flights are outside. The last flight is inside from the hallway, through the door then up to the apartment.

Breakfast: Omelette espagnole was superbly cooked, and the preliminary French toast was a very pleasant unexpected extra. Cheerful decorating scheme in dining area and our room was vibrant and very pleasing.

Great location, friendly staff and neat concept for the auberge. Also wonderful artwork and colors. The auberge is about two blocks from a dedicated bike lane on a major avenue - so easy to get around and down to bike paths along the canal.

The decoration is unique, very colorful!

The only thing was that there was no drink water in the room.

Mintieron describiendolo como un hotel de 3 estrellas. Sin personal de atención, sin ascensores para subir las pesadas maletas. Es un BnB que no hubieramos seleccionado al descubrirlo. La anulación fue de fuerza mayor teniendo que buscar un hotel de verdad pocas horas. El cargo por anulación es excesivo

The room was spacious and very nicely decorated. I felt like I was staying at a friend’s house.

Bien placé en centre ville. 900 mètres de la gare mais 50 mètres du métro. 3 maisons anciennes. J'avais la chance d'être à l'étage supérieur de la maison principale. L'escalier pour monter à la chambre, en colimaçon, est très étroit. Grande chambre confortable avec un frigidaire et TV. Très grande salle de bains avec douche et baignoire jacuzzi. Eau bien chaude. Petit balcon privé. Salle du petit déjeuner au rez de chaussée assez agréable. La dame de République dominicaine qui prépare le petit déjeuner est charmante. Service à table, aussi pour le café ou thé.. Omelette maison très bonne.

Il faut venir tôt vers 7h30 pour trouver une table libre pour le petit déjeuner . Tous arrivent vers 8h ou 8h30 et là problème de place. La boîte avec écrit en grand "Tips" (pourboire), quelque fois que l'on aurait oublié. Idem dans la chambre, une enveloppe déjà préparée pour le pourboire. Je trouve cela déplacé dans un bed and breakfast. Cela dit c'est plutôt un hôtel dont on ne voit jamais le propriétaire . Il n'y a que le personnel qui vient de très loin. Je préférerais que les employés soient mieux payés vu le prix élevé des chambres.

The place was close to the subway and close to the Cell Center which was one of the main reasons we booked the accommodation. The staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to leave our bags before check in.

The room we had was on the top floor. So it was a bit of a struggle to climb up the stair with our bags. But it was manageable but it just something to note that there are stairs to navigate.

Malheureusement l'auberge se situe dans un quartier qui est très bruyant, le train est de l'autre côté de la route et on l'entend tôt le matin. La maison est vieille, donc les murs ne sont pas insonorisés ce qui est compliqué lorsque l'on souhaite pouvoir se reposer.

Super accueil et excellent petit déjeuner. Chambre comfortable, spacieuse et calme. Accès à une cuisine équipée. A proximité immédiate du metro.

The room very nice... can be improved

Frühstück für 16 CAD war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Ruhe Lage mitten in Down Town, nächste Metro 1 Min entfernt. Auch der Flughafenbus hält in 250 m Entfernung. Sehr gut, um die Stadt kennen zu lernen.

Das Haus ist alt und krumm, die Möbel vom Flohmarkt, das Bett eine völlig Katastrophe, die Matratze total durchgelegen. Der rote Plüschteppich deplatziert, wenn man die schweren Koffer 3 echt steile Treppen hoch und runter schleppen muss. Man muss Staub mögen, um sich dort wohl zu fühlen. Für den Preis bekommt man um die Ecke gute Hotels!

Das von uns gebuchte Zimmer - uns wurde #501 zugewiesen - war sehr geräumig, hatte einen Kamin, Whirlpool (offen im Wohnraum) und ein separates Bad mit Waschtisch, Toilette und Dusche (diese wies einige Schimmelspuren auf, da das Bad kein eigenes Fenster zur Belüftung hat). Das Personal war super, freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Wir hatten mehrfach in der Unterkunft Frühstück gebucht. Neben Toast, Quark, Müsli, … könnt Ihr separat aus 6 Frühstücksvarianten wählen, die frisch zubereitet werden. Von Eiern, mit und ohne Bacon, Benedikt-Art, Waffeln, … wurde das individuell und frisch zubereitet. Wir waren nicht im Haupthaus untergebracht mit Zimmer #501. Daher gab es für uns zusätzlich im Eingangsbereich noch eine Kaffeemaschine, wo man sich kostenfrei versorgen kann. Top. 150m entfernt liegt eine Metrostation und man ist in wenigen Minuten Downtown. Ideal. Ebenfalls an der Metro gibt es eine Fahrradstation. Somit benötigt man in Montreal kein Auto. Wenn Ihr nur 4-5 Tage kommt, dann holt Euch erst bei der Weiterreise in Kanada das Auto am Flughafen ab. Spart Miet- & Parkgebühren. Die Metrokarte gilt vom/bis zum Flughafen was super ideal ist, da die Buslinie 747 (Airport <-> Downtown) ca. 300m von der Unterkunft hält.

Das Zimmer #501 ist im Basement bzw. Keller und hatte leider keinen Balkon oder nutzbaren Außenbereich. Auch war der Ausgang zur Außentreppe nicht gereinigt und als Abstellplatz genutzt. Im Basement bedeutet auch, dass Ihr über Euch Gäste haben werdet. Durch das Geburtsjahr des Hauses bedingt, ist kein Schallschutz berücksichtigt und Ihr werdet jeden Schritt der weiteren Gäste wahrnehmen.

We liked the roominess and layout of the family room. It had a cute balcony and the kitchen was great. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly & helpful.

The queen bed in our room was very hard and the pillows were too thick and rigid. We had to carry our luggage up the fire escape from the parking lot and then up another narrow set up steps to our room. I think this would be very difficult for some guests.

Déjeuner et emplacement parfait. Cet appartement est trés original, coloré, se situant au dernier étage. Chouette petit balcon.

Pour l'accés á cette appartement, il serait judicieux de mentionner qu'il faut monter soit même l'ensemble des valises 3 étages, par des escaliers parfois trés raides. Avec des valises á 20kg, bonjour.... Notre location n'est pas adapté du tout pour des personnes d'un certain âge, encore moins avec des problémes de déplacement. Il ne faut pas être regardant sur l'isolation phonique, l'etablissement étant une belle ancienne bâtisse.

La taille du logement, son confort et son emplacement proche du métro, du bus, des restos. La cuisine à disposition juste à côté de la chambre. La gentillesse du personnel.

Les marches pour accéder au logement. Compensé par l'aide spontanée de Sam pour m'aider à porter la valise de mon fils.

Wonderful group of houses, each with a variety of bedrooms. Very comfortable rooms, well presented and thoughtful details. Great breakfasts in the main house. Many rooms upstairs - proprietor was able to help with luggage - I was grateful.

Breakfast is excellent. The decorations of the room and breakfast area provide an artist vibe. We love the hotel and will definitely stay there again if we come to Montreal again.

La habitación era muy grande con bañera y sofá. La ubicación perfecta. Hay una parada de metro al lado. El personal siempre muy amable y ayudándonos con todo. Había microondas café infusiones vasos etc. mil gracias!

La habitación estaba abajo y apenas tenía una ventana pequeña que daba a la calle a la altura del suelo. También habían varios insectos no se si por estar a la altura de la calle. Nos alojamos dos veces y la otra habitación era más pequeña pero todo súper limpio.

We loved the staff, decor and location. All made for a great visit to Montreal. Room was spacious and comfortable. Location is a quick walk to the Metro which provided us with quick access to Old Montreal and Mont Royal.

We’d hoped to park on location but learned upon arrival that our car is a model being targeted for theft across Canada and garage parking would be safer. This is not the property’s fault and we appreciate the heads up that led us to park in a garage but would have preferred to know this ahead of time so we could have arranged parking prior to our arrival.

Check in time 4:00 is late. Also staff can be more accommodating. No map was available and we found out how to walk toward downtown from the taxi driver.

Une superbe chambre dans un logement typique de Montreal, un breakfast copieux et original servi chaque matin par un personnel souriant, et le métro à deux pas pour se déplacer un peu partout dans Montreal.

La clim qui s'auto-déclenche et pour laquelle nous n'avons pas trouvé le réglage... mais c'est vraiment pour pinailler.

Très bon petit déjeuner, copieux. Logement dans une maison typiquement Montrealais, décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Espace cuisine pour préparer thé, café. Tres appreciable. On se sent chez soi.

Cute place and very spacious

Checkin was over early so it got a little complicated but they were responsive over text. Parking was confusing at first but was actually right near the property.

We loved the quirky and artsy atmosphere. Not your cookie cutter kind of place. Very comfortable & quiet, plus the metro stop was just at the corner. The breakfast was superb and a great value for the price. The staff were very nice and helpful and the parking was right around the back.

This is very minor- but used glasses in the room were not replaced with fresh ones. And on our third day the bed was not made up.

Die Lage ist sehr günstig, vor allem um auf den Mont Royal zu wandern. Parkplatz! Frühstück so liebevoll und lecker und ein herzliches Team. Der Raum war schön, wir würden wiederkommen.

Perfect location to visit the old town and downtown. The metro is about a block away and will connect you with most of montreal. .breakfast was good and the staff friendly. The building is older so don't expect the convenience of a modern hotel. We prefer location and personal contact more than modern stuff.

It didn't effect us but there are no elevators so probably not good for handicapped..

The auberge is a comfortable, bright and airy place to stay, really close to the metro and at the edge of downtown Montreal. The staff were very helpful. We had breakfast during our stay (extra cost of $16 per person not including tax) which was delicious.

Personnel aidant. Déjeuners exceptionnels. Décor unique et accueillant. Les chambres sont propres et les lits confortables. La proximité d'une station de Métro est un plus. Je recommanderais cet établissement à mes amis.

Van de 14 dagen in Canada was hier met afstand het beste ontbijt. De eggs Benedict waren voortreffelijk en de ontbijt ruimte was gezellig ingericht.

We waren er om 13 uur en de receptie was dicht en ging pas tegen 4 uur open. Gelukkig zagen we na enkele rondjes om het blok de parkeerplaatsen aan achterzijde van het pand. Dit had wel duidelijk aangegeven mogen worden door Booking.com of het hotel.

I loved the charming and quirky room. The original artwork displayed throughout was beautiful. Its location 1/2 block from the Metro made getting around Montreal so easy . Most of all, having breakfast with Mia was a great way to start the day!

There were homeless people a block away, but that is the nature of a big city.

It's a quiet location, there is parking ($16/day), and the bed is comfortable. The decor is very tasteful.

Only one person is working the front desk. We had to carry heavy bags up many flights of steep, spiral stairs. The bathroom is tiny.

Some of the issues we experienced, such as the location, the noise (on one night, we had to wake up very early the next morning, yet loud party music continued until around midnight), and the problems during check-in, were ultimately overshadowed by what shocked us the most: the cleanliness. On our last day, while checking the room to make sure we hadn’t forgotten anything, we looked under the bed and found an unbelievable amount of dust. We then checked under the wardrobe and other furniture and realized the same thick layer of dust had accumulated everywhere, making it obvious these areas had not been cleaned for a very long time. It also explained why we had been experiencing allergy symptoms and coughing throughout our stay—we had been breathing in that dust for days. Considering the price we paid and the hotel’s supposedly high ratings, this level of cleanliness was extremely disappointing and concerning. Future guests should definitely pay close attention to this.

Spacious, charming room, excellent location, coffee and amenities were great outside of room

Our bed was uncomfortable--the sheets were great and mattress firmness fine but it sloped to the middle causing us to roll into each other. The rest of our party had no issues with their beds.

Good location with huge unique rooms. Staffs were super friendly and gave clear instructions.

The staff are excellent, the building is beautiful and so are the rooms and the location is great. Highly recommend it and I plan to be back.

What a gorgeous room. So comfy and huge and way more individual than a standard corporate room. Staff were lovely and we had breakfast one morning which was delicious and great value. The rooms had access to shared kitchen with plenty of coffee and tea as well as a microwave, ice machine etc. Room had a fridge and glasses.

Nothing i didnt like. If you are wanting to stay within 10mins walk of station this is a lovely choice. Just be aware there are stairs if that would be a problem for you.

Close to Metro - authenticity of the room / accommodation

Our room was amazing! Big sleeping area with a table and chairs too . Nice size refrigerator microwave and two TVs should you need them. Very comfortable bed. Charming. Then we had an additional sitting room with the big jetted tub. And another fireplace. Neither fireplace works with wood fuel but with a specialized fuel (?) you need to request because of fire hazards. But charming nonetheless. Fabulous shower and parking right behind the building. Very very convenient. Staff was lovely. In the foyer is a wonderful set up for coffee and tea whenever you wanted it. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, but that’s always an option. The metro is literally half a block away, which is so convenient to get downtown. Really thoroughly enjoyed Montreal and would highly recommend staying here! Thanks for everything.

There was not one thing we did not like about this location. It’s wonderful.

De kamer was redelijk donker, en lastig te bereiken met de koffers doordat we een trap naar beneden moesten.
