Good value, very clean in a central location, bed was comfortable. Nice towels and shampoo.

A bit dated and frayed around the edges. If you struggle to carry your suitcase 74 steps to the top floor then ask for floor one (there’s no lift but we enjoyed the exercise). The lobby gives you a bit of a shock when you enter (2 security doors and an enclosed booth for reception). The paint and repair person has had quite a few years off.

Stairs! There’s no lift, it was a nightmare taking our holiday suitcases up to the second floor. It would be fine without luggage. The TV had no BBC channels.

Very old property that needs maintenance. Room was ok but could not lock from the inside. Location is good, but there are always people hanging by the front entrance door. I felt very unsafe when coming back to the hotel around 22h by myself, and one of the men out front started talking to me and refused to move out of the way for me to unlock the front door. This location needs 24/7 front reception for their guests’ safety, and hotel room doors must be able to be locked from the inside.

The room was clean and very central. The bed was comfortable and the room was large enough.

The stair lights going on by movement censors is,a bit creepy. Walking up 3 flights of stairs alone-stepping into darkness before the lights go on does not feel safe.

De locatie is perfect, vlakbij het station. Een mooie prijs ook. Het hotel oogt wat oud, maar mijn kamer was groot, schoon en comfortabel. Het ontvangst was hartelijk en gastvrij.

Très bien placé à proximité immédiate des gares ferroviaires et routière ainsi que du terminal de ferry ! Imbattable pour le prix. Le personnel est très gentil et m'a permis de laisser mes bagages sur place le jour de mon départ. Les meubles sont un peut datés mais tout est en très bon état et très propre

Le matelas est très dur. Dans la chambre que j'avais il n'y a pas de table de chevet, pas de lampe de chevet non plus. D'ailleurs aucun autre éclaire que la lampe de plafond. J'ai eu un peu froid et le chauffage ne semblait pas être en fonctionnement mi septembre. Internet n'était pas le plus fiable avec des coupures assez fréquentes. La rue est très bruyante surtout tôt le matin et c'est gênant pour faire la grasse matinée. Cependant ça reste un très bon hébergement vu l'emplacement et le prix. Je pense que j' y retournerai

The location was just across the road from the railway and bus stations.

A bus stop is directly in front of the main entrance with at times people blocking the access.

Staff was so kind and friendly, room was clean and bed was comfortable, and hotel was conveniently located right by the bus stop and ferry terminal. Great value!

The springs on the double bed's mattress were protruding and did not look at all comfortable. Fortunately, there was a single bed in the same room that I could use.

The hotel is well located in front of the railway station. It is an old building with many stairs and smell to old stuff. The staff was accommodating

Convenient location for bus and rail station and city centre, clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Not fancy but absolutely fine for a short stay. Would stay again.

Traffic noise as on a busy road and near junction.

The check-in was smooth. You have to ring the door bell and someone will receive you. The location was just the opposite of the bus station and very near to the railway station. The rooms were clean. There were room services daily.

The noise comes from the adjacent streets throughout the night even on the 3rd floor. Also a lift would have been better.

The rooms are decent enough, clean and functional comfy enough bed. Excellent value for money, worth it if you need somewhere just for sleeping at a cheap price.

There's a wasp nest outside room 115, and upon asking the staff about it they essentially said they couldn't do anything, the walls are very thin you'll hear everything in the rooms next to you and some members of staff are short tempered, impatient and unhelpful at times. However there's alot worse places to stay.

A limpeza foi a primeira coisa que me surpreendeu, o sítio estava impecável…melhor que certos hotéis onde já paguei mais do que 4x este valor. As comodidades são muito boas para o preço que se paga, tem-se direito a café e chá e leite, a roupa da cama e toalhas limpissimas e tudo muito confortável. A uns meros passos da estação de comboios de Aberdeen, perfeito para quem quer visitar a cidade e a Costa de aberdeenshire. O pub chamado The Craftsman Company é muito acolhedor e à tarde de maçã é ótima, recomendo! (Fica mesmo lá ao lado) O único a ter em conta é que não há escadas nem pequeno almoço! Mas isso fica descrito pelo hotel claramente.

Bathroom needs work in 109. Toilet is loose and uneven, the screen is coming away from the wall and one of the shower handles is missing a bolt. Not a lot but makes the difference

One thing baffled us though 1 key fitted outside door inner door and room door does this mean the key fitted all the rooms I have attached a photo of one my friends idea to help us to be more secure in case keys fitted all rooms

The karaoke in the bar outside the room was very loud until 1am.

The public areas and stairwell are just so dated and unappealing it's hard to be enthusiastic. Fire alarm battery in the corridor beeped all night every minute.

Beeping noise going off outside my room every 6 minutes, couldn't sleep, hotel full so had to move hotels at midnight on first night. Promised a refund for the 2 nights at the time. No refund came and they hangup the phone on me when I call. Do not stay here.

Location was great, close to train station and other amenities, nice shower. As a budget room it was good and pretty clean.

The bed (for us) was really uncomfortable and duvet was so thin that we were actually a little chilly.

Lo mejor es la ubicación. Justo enfrente de la estación de bus y tren es inmejorable para llegar a todos los sitios. Lástima que es caro el transporte público. Cerca de un centro comercial, bares, cafes y zonas de interés. Recomiendo ir a ver los Castillos de las afueras. Ver el barrio de pescadores, tratar de ver los delfines y las focas.

El hotel le falta una reforma, está limpio a de decir. Lo malo la cama no había quien durmiera. Sonaba más que un sonajero. Se movía sola con los coches que pasaban. Y luego si quieres intimidar pues muy discreto no es.

Location is convenient for the station and transport links. Room was clean with a comfortable bed

No hairdryer in the room, when I asked I was given one from a different room. A mirror would have been appreciated so I could see what I was doing whilst drying my hair! No heating in the bathroom which wasn’t a problem given the recent weather but I imagine would be pretty unpleasant in colder temperatures.

Das Personal war mega freundlich, die Zimmer waren sauber und wurden auch wärend des Aufenthalts gereinigt. Wenn man mit einfach zurecht kommt finde ich es Top es hat einen eigenwilligen Charm. Ich werde bei meinem nāchsten Aufenthalt wieder da buchen es liegt herrlich zentral.

Property centrally located therefore excellent for transportation and visiting the city. Had two bedrooms for 3 guest. Both bedrooms were a good size for the relevant guest with lovely white clean sheets and towels. The sheets and towels were changed daily. Although there is no lift at the property, staff assisted with taking luggage to the bedrooms. Stall stored the luggage before checking in and again at checkout.

The property lack a seating area outside your bedroom and there is no toilet facilities outside your bedroom. No fridge in the bedroom.

Świetna lokalizacja tuż przy stacji kolejowej. Bardzo miła obsługa - Pani na recepcji sama zaproponowała, że zmieni mi pokój na taki na niższym piętrze, żebym nie musiała dźwigać dużej walizki (w hotelu nie ma windy), po czym sama wniosła mi walizkę na pierwsze piętro, mimo że nawet jej o to nie prosiłam). Przytulne pokoje.

Osobiście mi to nie przeszkadzało, bo byłam bardzo zmęczona i szybko usnęłam, ale wokół hotelu jest dużo głośnych barów i hałas słychać wyraźnie w pokojach.

There weren't any elevators and I had to carry my luggage.

We loved how close it was to the train station and all the shops. The staff are so lovely, especially the young lady who always made sure everything was okay with us and asked if we needed anything else before we left for the day. We like the family room with a lovely view. The shower was excellent!! Everything was super clean!! Beds are comfortable i wish I could take the beds home with us

It would be greatly appreciated if mini-fridges and microwaves were available in the rooms. As we were staying for several nights, these amenities would have been ideal for storing our food and allowing our children to enjoy warm suppers than going out. Aside from this, we have no other complaints.

The entrance isn’t very promising but don’t let that put you off. The stairs suggest a building that was once rather grand and when I got to the room it was such a surprise - not the single I’d booked but a very large family sized room and large bathroom with bath, shower etc. Everywhere was absolutely spotlessly clean. There was a TV and tea and coffee making equipment and a hairdryer. The room faced the main road but was very well soundproofed with virtually no traffic noise. The bed was extremely comfortable. It’s right next to the harbour and less than 5 minutes walk from Aberdeen station. OK if you’re looking for 5 star luxury this isn’t it but it’s fantastic value for money and in a very convenient location. I spent 2 nights there and would definitely stay again when I’m next in Aberdeen.
