Glenwood Springs Inn

We made the reservation a couple hours before arriving and when we thought we arrived there we were told they did not have our reservations and that it was the other place down the road and that it happens all the time. When we arrived we immediately saw it was not what we made the reservations for and tried to explain to them and ask for a refund. We did not stay there. They said that they would not give our money back because we did not give a 24 hours notice to cancel. How do you make a 24 hour cancel when you just made the reservation 2 hours ago?????

The staff was super rude. Go somewhere else where people care about customer service. Definitely don't understand the hospitality industry and what it means to take care of their guests. But I guess you should expect 2 star service at a 2 star motel.

It was very clean, older place but kept up well and had been recently updated can't beat the value for a great stay!

Thought the bed was a little rough for me comfort wise I think that's just because mattress wasn't as firm as I am used too.

Nice motel with clean rooms and great location in walking distance to a lot of restaurants and shops. Beds were very comfortable and ample of parking is available right in front of the building. Perfect for short stays. Good value for money for Glenwood Springs. We had upper floor rooms and they were quiet which is a rare phenomenon in US motels.

It is a basic hotel. No frills. The room was pretty lifeless feeling.

Quick walk to the hot springs and can cross the bridge to downtown Nice to sit on the balcony It was quiet. The cost was decent.

Clean and spacious room. Typical/reasonable continental breakfast for a motel. Electrical vehicle charging station.

Too bad that inconsiderate people with non-electrical vehicles park in the only two EV charging spots, although there were plenty of other parking spots available. Maybe, some more clearer notifications should be made to reserve those EV charging spots since many people choose this motel for that very reason.

Took me a while to realize we had to plug in the A/C as the power button (room 127) did not work. There was a liquid dispenser for soap in the shower but it did not work and there wasn't a bar of soap to use. Glad I carry a spare bar of soap.

Locatie was prima. Dichtbij de hotspring. Het uitzicht buiten is zo ongelofelijk mooi. De kamer was ruim genoeg en er was een ontbijt locatie bij. Let op! Ontbijt was tot 9 uur wat voor ons op vakantie best vroeg was en we ons daar niet bewust van waren. We mochten nog eten pakken terwijl er opgeruimd werd, dat was fijn.

This is the third year I have stayed at Glenwood Springs Inn. It's in a great location. The rooms are large with tables and chairs. This time I had a kitchenette and a sofa as well. They are clean and comfortable.

A great stopover at a very good hotel. Special mention to the absolutely lovely person at reception. Excellent, varied breakfast and lovely breakfast staff.

The room was very clean and organized. We also ate breakfast at the Inn and it was delicious, we did hope for more options though. The staff was also very kind and helpful with getting us checked in and keeping everything great! We also loved the view and how close it was to everything.

We only wish there were more food options. It was a great breakfast but very limited choices. The parking was also a bit wonky but not an issue for us at all! Just hard to move around certain cars in their spaces.

Friendly staff and very accommodating. The location was perfect in relation to Iron Mountain Hot Springs and downtown Glenwood Springs.

Our room was close to some equipment and we heard generator-like noise all throughout the night. Good thing we brought ear plugs and was able to get sleep!

Central location. Close to activities and town center. Off street parking. Rooms were clean and updated. Good shower and comfortable bed. Air conditioner and refrigerator worked great. Breakfast was great! more than I expected. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful.

Our group has stayed here for a conference in town the past 4 years. Staff always friendly & helpful. Decent, safe place with a good breakfast at a good price. We will be back next year!

We were early for check in and stopped to see if we might be able to get into a room that was ready, not expecting that we would be able to. We were told by the man at the desk it would be a $35 fee and the soonest we could get in would be 2:30 pm. We decided to go do something and then return. At 3:15 we came back and a woman was at the desk. She said our room was still not ready and we would have to try again after 4 pm because that was check in time and our room was still not ready. This was when I got irritated because the man at the desk earlier had suggested we return after 3. She told us this was "wrong." We left again to get some food and returned around 4:30. When we checked in (our third time stopping at the hotel), we were out on the 2nd floor of an adjacent property. It was not the property that is advertised here, but a next door building with another name (Little Bavarian). The room was okay, but the whole check in experience soured us on the place, especially given that it is was booked in March for a stay in July. Everywhere else we stayed on this trip was super friendly and happy to see us whenever we arrived. Next time we stay in Glenwood Springs, we will stay elsewhere.

Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and we have been sleeping great! Air conditioning works like a charm and the location is easily within walking distance of all the major attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

I liked the location. Easy walking distance to the springs and downtown. Room was clean and simple. It really needed a coffee maker. Bathroom was clean and spacious. I liked the outside table and chairs. Breakfast was great.

For what I got (and wanting to choose local over a chain) I thought the $200 was slightly overpriced. This was more like a $125 room. I still enjoyed it.

There was an incredibly strong smell of cleaning chemicals that seemed to be covering the smell of mold or something else. It was quite overwhelming. Besides that all was fine.

The room was a bit cramped, beds really firm and pillows really flat.

The spiderweb and nasty stuff on the walls. The tub didnt fill and the carpet was gross. Definitely not worth the price increase for a holiday weekend. Breakfast was horrible. You have an amazing bakery in town maybe think about getting an account with them and getting breakfast from them for your motel.

July 12 - 17 2026, Great location and Price. The room was clean and the owners are very friendly! We hiked to Hanging lake and the waterfall. It was so beautiful. We went white water rafting which was a blast. Which it was right across the street. We did a few other trails. You can pretty much walk to most places for shopping and restaurants.

It was nice that they offered coffee in the morning.

Used dryers but there was a fault with one of them (closest to the wall). The door does not close properly. One dried our clothes, the other did not. Had to spend additional money to dry the clothes. I did bring it to the attention of the clerk. She indicated she would check it out, but there was no reimbursement for the faulty dryer.

This place is nicer than I expected it to be. I’m usually hesitant with motels, but this one was very clean and cute.

The google photos has Swimming Pool in photos for this hotel, but they don't have a swimming pool. I should have read through all the amenities before booking but most of the times guests book the place based on photos. They should remove that photo asap

It was our first time staying here, even in this city. We wanted to get away for awhile and it's been nice so far.

Great place to stay with family. Great value. Great staff. Great continental breakfast. Very close to the hot springs.

Check in was easy. Front desk very helpful. Got reduced price tickets to the Hot Springs. Everything was clean and in good shape. Location was perfect for the Hot Springs.

Pillows were flat. Breakfast was free, but pretty minimal: only white bread for toast, tiny yogurt containers, hard boiled eggs, no half and half for coffee.

The location is absolutely fantastic! Everything is in walking distance. Especially because driving around Glenwood Springs can be tricky. We kind of liked that the room was like stepping back into the early 2000's. When you think about it, you aren't on vacation to hang out in your hotel room.

The bed that we had was a little hard. I would recommend bringing a couple pillows and maybe another blanket? But, it really wasn't that bad.

Our stay at the Glenwood Springs Inn came at the end of a week-long driving vacation. We selected this motel based on its good reviews and attractive rates, but were not expecting a memorable experience. In fact, after checking in at the small office, I imagined breakfast would be limited to a grim selection of cellophane-wrapped pastries and coffee to be consumed in our room. What a wonderful surprise it was then to discover the following morning that breakfast was provided in a separate spacious dining hall! I was happy to find my favorites – hot and cold cereals as well as waffles and fresh fruit – but the unexpected treat was enjoying a breakfast with real cutlery and ceramic mugs and dishes! Not having to dispose of a mound of single-use utensils, cups and dishes at the end of the meal really made this the most pleasant breakfast experience of our trip. Our room was attractive, clean and comfortable. The location made it easy to access downtown on foot, and yet our room was well insulated from traffic noise. The view of the red mountainside from the second-floor balcony was an added plus.
