Coronation Court Motel

It’s very quiet and very clean

Everything was very good

Everything is great

Location good, room size big, clean, quiet.

The motel is tired but very clean with good quality linens. Friendly service. Good price.

Clean, good value for money. Friendly and very helpful staff and very close to the city

Location

Old kitchen area. No air conditioning. Plumbing from adjoining room very loud when toilet or shower used. Tv program kept hesitating

Breakfast was not available

The room had curtains hanging off thevtracks, a tv that didn't work, a dirty toilet and shower and generally old and very run down.

1. Had the ability to pay at the motel 2. Very roomy 3. Awesome location. Right on the edge of town. 4. Pretty much everything you need is right there. Couple of elements available to cook on if that's your thing. 5. Shower is actually hot. 6. Great value for money. 7. Beds are warm and comfortable. Pillows half decent- always bring my own tho. 8. I felt safe. As a woman solo traveling, this is huge. 9. I had a couple of awesome nights sleep.

It wasn't really what I didn't like as such. You get what you pay for. Lill rough and ready, but it gets the job done. Bunch of improvements I could list, but the basics are functional, so that's all that really matters. I wasn't after fancy. I was after safe, comfortable nights rest and cheap. And I would 1000% stay here again if I'm in New Plymouth.

Great staff

Room was clean and tidy. Sheets were clean and clean towels provided.

Very efficient and friendly, didn’t have any issues, great location would go back again.

Didn’t find any faults

Awesome happy staff, great water preasure

I called requesting an early checking, the staff were incredibly helpful. Was upgraded on arrival. Was very happy with the room, it was very clean and tidy. Will be staying again.

Location

Managed went out of way to correct the issues .cleaniness needs improvement.the toilet was leaking change of rm was good .the place needs renovated poorly showing its age ripped curtains old outdated decor .not clean dishes n amenities .after self cleaning toilet still not help but fitted our needs n budget .good service of clean linen daily (towels).

Never fails to impress. Great rooms with plenty of space with to notch amenities. Couldn't recommend enough.

Manager came to help us when we had no hot water or TV

There was no hot water until staff explained that the shower had to run for several minutes to get warm/hot while basin and sink never ran even warm as they were on a different system! The ledge above the bed was full of dust and wads of dirt. The toilet bowl had not been properly cleaned for a long time and needed Janola or equivalent The TV was so complicated to use it needed help from the staff. No directions were provided.

Stay was very good, was able to upgrade our room and also extend a night at short notice. Aaron was very welcoming and always willing to help make our stay better.

Location was great, sheets were clean. My 4stars are based on location alone.

Carpet was stained (looked like bloodstains in some areas) and dirty, duvets were stained, showers were dirty, dirty earbud in our bathroom from previous guest, 2x cockroaches in the room, one was in the teabags, other was by the door. Smelt unclean, showers were disgustingly and one only trickled water. Wish I could upload all 20photos of the place.

The owners were polite and helpful

The room is a good size for our family and friends

the electric stove is taking time to heat the food

The room was ground level.

#The curtains to the sliding door entrance weren't hung properly hanging off the end of the track #There was sooo much noise coming from the neighboring tenants I couldn't sleep. #The showers from the other rooms were soooo loud too #The carpets were worn and ripped # I hadn't stayed there for about 10yrs and it was soooo obvious nothing had ever been upgraded. #When I first checked in the manager told me he gave me an upgrade. I was absolutely shocked

The owner and staff were very accommodating and welcoming the motel was good especially for the price. Overall I enjoyed my stay here

Nothing to really say.

Great stay as usual

Very pleasant, no problems.

Nil, all good.

Amazing location, helpful staff and an awesome comfortable room.

Pluming was slightly noisy but wasn't difficult to get used to.

Lovely spacious room my son was able to play with his you’s without getting in the way , the motel owner was very welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again

Shower could do with a little upgrade however overall we will be back to stay again

Host was very helpful especially when I needed to move rooms. Very comfy bed. Good shower pressure. Nice having a heater rather than a heat pump. Unit i was in was quiet. Close to park.

Wifi cut out at 10pm and wasn't working in the morning.

Hosts were fantastic and would help with anything at the drop of a hat. We got a Goodluck welcome gift too. Lovely clean place. Plenty of blankets and heaters to keep warm. Everything you need.

Bed, towels, staff.

Not being told to let shower run for 1 min. to get hot water. Stained toilet. Broken curtains

The staff were go friendly and welcoming, large rooms

Lovely host Comfortable beds Clean Private

The bed was comfy

The tv didnt work properly

Good location and for the price a reasonable place to stay. The host was very pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfortable.

There was only 1 frying pan and no saucepans to utilize to cook a meal. The room could do with updating. The kickboards in the kitchenette were swollen and chipping away. The bathroom sink needed a good scrub especially around the tap fixtures.

We had an amazing and comfortable stay as we head to Wellington the next day.! Will definitely book again :)

Staff really helpful. Room was warm and clean. Shower magnificent.

I did have to ask for a hair dryer which was no problem. They didn’t have a fish slice. Hard to flip an egg with a spoon.

Had a lovely stay at this motel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was convenient and everything I needed was provided. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Great stay as usual

Great place to stay. Had 2 nights in the one bedroom unit. Spotless and tidy with all great amenities. Loved having 2 bathrooms which was really convenient. Warm and cozy with extra heating and bedding where needed. The location was really easy distance to town and Pukukura park and Brooklyn zoo. The hosts were awesome and genuinely cared. Nothing was a problem. Would highly recommend for value for money and would definitely book again

The owner provided lots of help and very easy communication.

Nothing

The room was spacious and even though the room was a bit dated it was very clean. It was quick to heat with the little stand alone heater and it stayed warm all night. The bedding was warm too. The staff were helpful and the laundry facilities were excellent. Great sized milk on arrival in a glass bottle - LOVE THAT! Loved the refill body wash, shampoo, and soap! Parking right outside my door was great also.

The mattress wasn't the best, but managed to get some good sleep never-the-less. The room just lacked a few key things - dish rack, chopping board and a hair dryer.

Clean! This place is exceptionally clean! A lot cleaner than the more expensive places in town! Don’t hesitate to book this place.

Cleanliness! Staff are phenomenal, very accommodating!

Good motel located at a very nice and peaceful location with easy access to everything.

Everything was spot on

tidy and clean

bed was really comfortable, room was clean had all appliances that we required.

Upstairs unit would have preferred downstairs.

That there was a gap/draught in the bedroom door leading outside, and the internet was very poor n we had no tv for bit as cable wasn't plugged in then to b found to b broken

Tired facility in serious need of a make over. Service staff were careless about making sure the room was secure when they left. Came back to the room hours later to find it open

Very friendly chap at reception! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The whole place needs some maintenance inside the rooms and outside. The kitchenette blind was broken, there was a mended hole in the bathroom door and the the fridge cabinet has seen better days. These things are all quick, cheap fixes. The wifi was very patchy and I gave up using it. The room walls are paper thin and you can hear the conversation and every move next door. Other rooms around the place had curtains falling off the railings.

Close to city centre

The wifi wasn’t the greatest it keep cutting out then wouldn’t work at all. But apart of that was grate

Very clean, well maintained property. Highly recommended

Absolutely nothing.

Location

Social housing occupants in units above. Constant yelling, arguments and stomping on floor above. TV's at high volume in other rooms. Smoke drifting in from smokers beside entrance to the room.

Staff were amazing, so helpful! The room was very big and had plenty of space too

Facilities are a bit older, however they're still very clean

Bedding appeared to be clean

Just awful, I would know where to start.

Easy access to the main road and hospital area, easy to find and the staff were great, we received a free upgrade on our last minute booking. The room was clean and tidy and linens and towels were fresh and very clean.

The facilities are a little outdated, however it is made up by the staff who are kind and caring and very genuine people.
