Location was great and bed was clean.

Sadly there was mould in the bathroom around the bath and shower head has mould in and around it.

The staff is friendly and helps you with everything. The location is perfectly central.

The hotel is outdated. There are only two elevators for most of the floors. It’s not unusual, that you have to wait for 5 minutes for the elevator. We had to switch rooms, because there was dried blood on our bed. Additionally there were many hairs of someone else in the bathroom plus one towel wasn’t changed. It’s pretty expensive in my opinion.

La ubicación es genial, queda cerca de todo. En general el hotel cumple con lo que ofrece, cama comoda y baño completo.

El espacio de la habitación era super reducido, en especial porque tenñiamos dos maletas que ocupaban casi todo el espacio disponible del piso. El elevador se tardaba demasiado en llegar y muchas veces estaba lleno así que había que esperar nuevamente.

The staff were amazing and the free 24/7 coffee on floor 2 was a great plus.

The "breakfast" was just a $25 voucher per person for next door, although it was very yummy, and the rooms were overpriced and not much better than hotels on the same street.

I found the front desk staff, particularly the Manager, went above and beyond to make sure I had a great room, as it was my first time in the US and Chucago.

The air ventilation in the room looked like it was very dusty and needed a good clean. There was a dead mosquito squashed on one wall in the bathroom.

El ruido de la calle puede no dejarte dormir, los autos modificados pasan en la madrugada corriendo y el ruido es terrible. Nosotros pedimos habitaciones con vista al río, puede que en habitaciones internas no se escuche.

The staff was the high point of the visit. Always helpful and customer friendly.

The room was outdated, the kitchenette was just a refrigerator, the window seals were rusting out, the shower head was loose. Worst of all was the view, it was the patio of another hotel. This was not a positive experience.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the Riverwalk. We had an amazing view of the river. The location perfect, convenient to many attractions and restaurants.

The room did not have a mini fridge, very limited space in bathroom for toiletries.

Wir haben ein Zimmer mit River View erhalten. Leider gab es nur ein einziges sehr kleines Fenster an der Seite, das auch noch sehr dreckig von außen war. Somit konnte man die Aussicht nicht wie erhofft genießen

The hotel has a very good location, right by the River Walk in the city center, with easy access to everything. However, the hotel itself is quite old and the furnishings are outdated. Our room was very small, and unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to an acceptable standard. Overall, the stay was okay, mainly thanks to the excellent location, but considering the condition of the hotel, the small room, and the insufficient cleanliness, I found the price-to-quality ratio to be rather disappointing.

Το δωμάτιο μας ηταν διπλα στον ανελκυστήρα 1708 δωμάτιο με αποτέλεσμα αργά το βράδυ να μας ξυπνά ο Θόρυβος. Ηταν πολυ ακριβό και δεν είχε εστω ούτε πρωινό σε αυτη την τιμή.

We were initially given a room on level 14 but the receptionist changed this and made us aware the original room was right next to a loud elevator shaft so we expected a better room - it was on floor 6 a view of a roof. También me gustó, que en la salida de los ascensores de cada planta pudieras coger una botella de agua y rellenarla.

Por poner un pero, las habitaciones necesitan una pequeña reforma, pero no están mal, cubre lo necesario si vas a ir a hacer turismo es más que suficiente

The hotel had a great location. Everything on the north side of the loop was walkable.

It’s an older hotel and pretty spartan. There was nothing wrong with the facility but it is obviously older and is a small hotel.

River Hotel/Club Quarters has a beautiful view of the River Walk..it is conveniently located to easily walk to many attractions. It offers valet parking.

The value of the room was great but small.

The location was very centrale. Despite being a selk check-in the staff was very welcoming and helpful. My room was perfect size for 3days stay. The little water station at my floor helpful, genius idea !

The hotel is at the best location in Chicago! It is right across the Trump tower, the staffs are very nice and friendly, and the price is amazing if you compare it to any other hotels or Airbnb in Chicago.

The only bad point will be poor sound proofing, you can hear any sounds outside the room. But with the location and price, I would not complain more, just wear ear plugs and it would be fine.

Everyone there is very friendly. The location is EXCELLENT!! It seriously can't be beat. The rooms are EXCEPTIONALLY clean. The views are picturesque!!! I wish I had a true camera instead of a phone camera to take pictures from out the window of the river views!!! The hallways and rooms are keep very clean all throughout the day and night.!!! The fitness center is located in the Lower-Level and it was good.

Location can’t be beat. It’s in a historic building and while the room was a bit small it has everything I needed and was comfortable.

Maybe the size of the room or the age of the bathroom, though it seemed like the shower head was recently replaced which was nice.

Excellent location in downtown Chicago—and that is where its virtues end. It is old and poorly maintained. The staff has zero empathy for travelers; we had to change rooms twice because they simply do not listen to guests' needs. But worst of all is the noise: window insulation is practically non-existent, with old, poor-quality windows, and the area is extremely noisy at night. You can hear music from boats and cars, people shouting, and cars with straight-pipe exhausts revving their engines just to make noise (what is wrong with an adult driving around the city in a loud car, revving like a child with a toy?). You can even hear loud bangs that sound like gunshots. Rest is impossible. A dismal experience.

Great downtown location at a reasonable price in an art deco building.It is located across the street from the Riverwalk, river cruises, Hop on Hop off bus and CtA buses. Wonderful for those starting to have mobility issues.Site helps to conserve your walking capital. SpotHero valet parking at 1 Wacker was 1 block away offering safe and secure parking...no in and out, but who wants to drive downtown Chicago if you don't have to! Price was good in 8/2026. Hotel staff friendly and knowledgeable. Great spot for former backpackers...especially "lonely planet" wanderes of the 70's!
