friendly staff, view, room size, washer and dryer
Extremely disappointed with our stay/visit. The value for what you pay is just not there. First, they charged a high service fee for spa service which was never disclosed. I ended up paying so much for service, $120 for two people. I asked for a refund on the undisclosed fee, management refused. On top of that, basic amenities were lacking—there were no pool/beach towels available starting from the late afternoon. The food was mediocre at best (3/5 quality), yet priced like a fine-dining venue. Overall, it is completely overpriced for mediocre food and lacking service. Between the hidden charges and lack of basic amenities, I cannot recommend this place.
Todo es bueno, la playa nadable, las albercas de 8am a 10 pm. La comida muy rica, las vistas espectaculares
We had an amazing time. Every aspect was a wonderful experience. We visited the pool everyday and our server Miriam was so funny and so good. She never slowed down was always right there with our drinks and food. She was outstanding. At breakfast we had Kevin and Ruiz who were the best. Our hostess was Rachel who remembered us from the day before and treat us like we were regulars, like old friends. Everything was so delicious and perfectly prepared and so good. We met the chef, Antonio who prepared these outstanding meals. Every aspect of our experience left us so satisfied and happy. Thank you all so much for making our trip the best, the absolute best.
Yesterder night ,my famly gathered for dinner at Hiroshi restaurant and the experience was memorable. We enjoyed the live music, delicious food and the service that Irving provided to us was quite delightful.
Absolutely amazing facilities and staff. They catered to our every need consistently throughout our entire stay. Staff that especially made an impact were Elaine, Javier, Ivan, Angel, Gio, Julian, Ricardo, and Martin. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful dinner!!! Angel was our waiter. He was fun and really engaged us in some fun banter!!!! This was our last night and he made it special and memorable!!! The manager, Elaine helped him deliver to us the pumpkin donuts which was our very favourite dessert of the whole week!!!!!! This whole holiday was incredible!!!♥️
I took a solo trip to celebrate my birthday and had the most memorable experience at Garza Blanca Sanctuary. The resort is a 5-star experience from the property, service, restaurants, and staff. My butler Carlos Ramos was exceptional with ensuring all my needs were met from check-in to check-out. The concierge team also provides high-caliber service. The rooftop pool was where I spent my time every day, and the area was beautiful, with a beautiful view from the infinity pool. The waiters were exceptional. I ate dinner at most all the restaurants and was not disappointed with the food or service. The Image Spa was incredible. I was in a one-bedroom corner suite, and it is amazing. I would highly recommend the resort to all!!!!!
We had a fantastic time at Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta. Everyone was really great, each in their own unique way. The rooms were top-notch, Alma and Silvia looked after us. Rod, Alejandro and Rafael were top-notch for our pool experiences.
Capitana Elaine and her team (Hannia, Emily, Jorge, Andres, Mario, and Ronaldo) ensured every meal was free of gluten (we have a gluten allergy) and masterfully prepared. We also had great Zumba and Stretching classes with Ronnie on the Activities team. We have been members of Villa Group/Tafer for 13 years and have found Garza Blanca in PVR to be our favorite home away from home south of the border.
We had a great time at Garza Blanca amazing hotel with great views we stayed on the beach front side which I thought was very family oriented . I want to thank the whole kids club team they were awesome with the kids highly recommend .
Amazing place to relax! The food was amazing! Mariana Lima housekeeping was exceptional
Our stay at Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta was incredibly disappointing, especially considering this was supposed to be our anniversary trip. The resort knew ahead of time that we were celebrating our anniversary, yet we were placed in a room with two double beds instead of a king. When we addressed it with staff, we were essentially pushed into attending a timeshare presentation as the “solution” to getting a proper room upgrade — otherwise we were told we would have to pay significantly more just to have a king bed. It felt manipulative and honestly left a terrible impression from the start. Beyond that, the resort itself feels tired and outdated and is badly in need of renovation and updating. The food was also extremely underwhelming. The only enjoyable meal we had on the property was at the newer Peruvian restaurant. Every other dining experience was disappointing enough that we ended up leaving the resort most nights just to enjoy decent dinners elsewhere. To make matters worse, the customer service throughout the stay was poor. Staff came across as indifferent, unhelpful, and more focused on upselling than hospitality. What used to feel like a luxury resort now feels like a money-grab operation with overpriced food and drinks, mediocre accommodations, and lousy service. Overall, we would absolutely not recommend staying here. There are far better resorts in Puerto Vallarta that actually value hospitality and guest experience.
As always, we had a wonderful time due to the fantastic staff that they continue to keep as a family. We actually had a one year gap in returning, whereas we usually make our trips in July and November every year even with our gap you feel so good walkinginto Blanca blue and seeing your regulars Mario, Alexis, and Andres and Javier. They recognize you they address you and always welcome you back to your home away from home super people. We chose to go up to the sanctuary pool and met Miriam who had a smile on her face from the time we got there to the time we left both days. Pedro was our bartender and he was the mixologist on point it seemed like we followed him around. He was at the rooftop and the sanctuary pool both days. As always most of the restaurants we go twice sorry to say we did not care for the Peruvian just my opinion. Our favorite restaurant is Hiroshi and also our favorite waiter Mr. Irvin that has been there as long as we have good to see a familiar As usual, the trolley drivers are always friendly. We were surprised about the amount of sand that was gone from the beach area, even with all the new rocks that they put in place this made it even worse where there was sand due to all the locals that come in and took over 90% of the beach area. Hope to see more sand brought in in the future, It used to be a pretty beach. Overall, this was a great trip for April due to July being too hot for us. We will be back in November for our anniversary. Hope to see you all soon.face.
Love our visit to the resort Special thanks to Shary that was really great
Carlos was an amazing Butler! He exceeded our expectations. From texting to check in to making reservations…his service was top tier! The room and the accommodations were awesome. I highly recommend. We can’t wait to come back.
Went for a girls trip celebrating 2 ladies turning 40. It was the most amazing experience and we want to give a special shout out to Roberto Gallardo who took such great care of all our needs poolside multiple days. He’s so sweet and attentive. Five Stars!
The entire experience was amazing and the food was to die for we highly recommend!
Juan assisted us at the beach everyday and was outstanding. Really great experience.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta – truly one of the best resort experiences we’ve ever had. We travel extensively, typically 40–60 days a year, and have stayed at many high-end resorts around the world. Even with that in mind, this stay stood out as something truly special. A heartfelt thank you to Darinka Peña Joya, who went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. From the moment we reached out before arrival, she handled every detail with care and professionalism — arranging our restaurant reservations, organizing a seamless early check-in, and upgrading us to a stunning two-bedroom beachfront suite. We were celebrating our two-year anniversary of living in Mexico, and thanks to Darinka and the team, it genuinely felt like a special occasion from start to finish. The resort itself is breathtaking, with incredible ocean views, outstanding food (Hiroshi and the Korean BBQ Fire Table were highlights!), and a perfect balance of relaxation and luxury. What truly sets Garza Blanca apart, however, is the level of service — thoughtful, personal, and consistently one step ahead. Thank you again to Darinka and the entire team for such an amazing weekend. We will absolutely be back. — The Skov Family
This was our first time visiting Puerto Vallarta, and we had such an amazing experience staying at Garza Blanca Preserve. We had the chance to visit the Sanctuary Tower and we were blown away by how beautiful it is. A very special and heartfelt thank you to Giovany, the manager, who truly made our trip unforgettable. From the moment we met him, he went above and beyond to make sure we were always taken care of. He was consistently attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making our experience perfect. His level of service, professionalism, and kindness stood out and made us feel valued every single day. The rooftop pool at the Sanctuary Tower was absolutely breathtaking, with the most beautiful views and the food there was absolutely delicious. Efrain and Carlos provided exceptional service, making the experience even more enjoyable. At the Sanctuary lower pool, Miriam and Edson were fantastic and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Giovany also recommended Hiroshi restaurant, where we received outstanding service by Jaime and enjoyed incredible food. Erika, the restaurant manager was very friendly and attentive. We also want to recognize Juan at the beach for his excellent service and warm attitude. A special mention to Arturo, the trolley driver, who always greeted us with a smile and positive energy, it truly set the tone for our days. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back.
We had such a great time thanks to Mario and Pablo. They were attentive in the best way always checking in with a smile, refilling our water before we even noticed it was low, and making sure we had everything we needed. Their positive attitude and professionalism really stood out. They turned a simple meal into a memorable experience.
Amazing week!! Thanks Mario and Alexi
We went to the Puerto vallarta location and it was amazing. I've been coming here for many years and have yet to be disappointed!! We stayed in hotel mousai north tower and it was absolutely wonderful. The maids always made sure to have a clean room and always left some nice sweet treats. The food was outstanding and I'd love to give a shoutout to Arianna at DOA. She was super friendly and made sure we had a wonderful dinner❤️ the rooftop service was excellent and always made sure I had a drink in my hand and that we were relaxed and enjoyed our time in the sun. Another big shoutout is our butlers Daniel and Humberto, they were amazing. They always checked up on us, made sure our reservations were set and went over and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful anniversary and an amazing stay!!! I'm hoping when we get back, we will have them service us. It was slow due to what happened a couple weeks ago but all the employees made sure it was a safe and secure place, the atmosphere was just beautiful everyday with all the greenery and mountains, and it was so nice and peaceful. I'm so happy I enjoyed my stay and I'm so excited to go back!!!
We stayed at the new tower (8) called the sanctuary. It was beautiful and the service was impecable. Our butler Carlos helped us with all our dinner reservations and was always available. The food was great everywhere but we really enjoyed Heroshi, and Tao. Also, the rooftop pool at the sanctuary was amazing. The other pools and the other rooftop pools needed a little maintenance. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
The Resort has 3 different properties. The ones on the beach are older, hotel rooms, but they are convenient for accessing the beach and the main restaurant, (Blanca Blue or the Mexican Restaurant), which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Pool is there too, and there is another small restaurant by the Pool for snacks or lunch. The other properties are on the other side of a public street. You can go there by walking (I do not recommend because this is a very busy street) or by the resort's trolley. The trolley goes around every 15-20 minutes, but depending on which building you are, you might have to wait for a 2nd trolley. This was a big inconvenience for us, because you waste a lot of time just for going to and from your room somewhere else (whether is the beach, the main pool, the main restaurant, or the Lobby). Some of these buildings have a panoramic view. The view is beautiful, but again, time consuming. The 3rd type of property is The Sanctuary hotel, which is their newest building. It is out of this world. You can go there using the trolley, and it is a new and high-end luxury hotel. This hotel is beautiful and amazing! From this hotel, everything is within your reach: The Rooftop pool (adults only), the restaurant on the basement floor (Hiroshi Japanese restaurant at night), the hot tub in your room's balcony, etc. The view is also beautiful. This resort has 2 options: all-inclusive and A la carte as far as food and drinks go. The resort is well-kept. However, the employees at the Lobby (administration are not pleasant and instead of listening to their clients' issues, they are first to come up with excuses, justifications, etc.. Wish they would train their administrative staff to listen more, rather than be on the defensive side. Maria who works there in the administration/main Lobby, came out as rude and insensitive to our needs, especially health hazard issues caused by others. Another thing that bothered us was that we were told by Maria at the Main Lobby that since we had booked our vacation through Costco, we were not their priority anymore. The people who booked their vacations directly with the Resort had their main attention and priority!!! On the other hand, the rest of the staff (restaurant hosts (Fatima for example), the waiters, the room service people, etc. were all extremely nice and hard-working.) We had a great experience with them. The Restaurants: Something that bothered us was that you must have reservations for each night for Dinner. No restaurant will accept you without reservations! And the curious thing is that even though we tried to reserve the restaurants since the 1st day we arrived there, they were all booked during any reasonable hours. The only openings for us were the late reservations, like 9pm for example. If you saw the restaurants, however, they all looked empty between 6-7 pm, but we were told they were fully booked. It was disappointing to find out that there was no restaurant that would accept you without reservation, like a buffet-style restaurant for dinner. Plus, another disappointment and time-consuming is that their restaurants are so scattered around the resort, that we had to call the Lobby to find our where these specific restaurants were located. During dinner time, the Trolleys were always full of people trying to get to their reservations, and we had to make the decision whether to wait for a 2nd trolley in 20 minutes or walk there. The streets are very steep if you decide to walk to places there. Another disappointment was that we were there with friends and the restaurants could not accommodate us together with our friends. They would put us in different corners of the room. Why go with a group if we could not eat together? Overall, I would not go back. Between the time-wasting trips to and from the room/beach/pools/restaurants, restaurant reservations and rude administrators, it is just not worth it. It is considered a luxury resort, so the pricing is a bit steep. However, not all the resort rooms are up to date and not all the rooms have beach view. Most of the rooms are up on a hill. Eating late dinners and fighting for food reservations for our choice restaurants made our stay feel at times more like a chore and a torture. Relaxing should not include worrying about your dinners, transportation and time management.
The service was impeccable. Thoroughly enjoyed all of the personnel that attended to us. The food at the poolside (especially the red snapper and grilled vegetables which was a fresh catch every day) was her favorite and we ordered it often for lunch. We did, however, book a three bedroom suite through the GarzaBlanca elite concierge service, and the pictures that were shown with our confirmation email was of the newer location. That was not the location that they put us in and there was no mention of that when we were booking. When we checked in, we were given the more dated, older suite . This was disappointing.
We had a great relaxing vacation in the Garza Blanca and definitely will return in the future. They have an exceptional service and staff. The food is great, all facilities are clean. Special thank you to the staff of Blanca Blue, who provided an exceptional service during all our breakfasts and lunches.
One word - simply amazing!!! I have been looking for “the spot” for family friendly vacation, and I found it. I stayed at Garza Blanca Resort and Spa in Puerta Vallarta, specifically stayed at the Santuary. My experience started with Alan, over the telephone reservation - I had called to verify some of their amenities- which was the kids club and babysitting/ childcare. Alan nicely confirmed and provided the information to me -that they provide well trained and experienced nanny at an affordable price ($20 for 1 kid and $35 for 2). And the kids club take kids from 4-12 but since mine were younger- they could go there with an adult/nanny. Alan then offered to book my reservation, and his rate was much more affordable than the Amex app. I had also arranged round trip airport pickup up, and that too was very affordable. Overall, The booking process was great! From the telephonic booking process, to the timely airport pickup, then the hotel. Wow - the most beautiful sight I have ever seen - the combination of the beautiful mountain and the ocean- gives this hotel the most relaxing and luxurious touch. Everything was inclusive, And the food was not buffet style. there were several restaurants - Japanese, Mexican, and the steakhouse and others you can eat at, and the food was really good. The next day, I went to the kids club and spoke with the manager - Nancy, to book our nanny. Nancy was very welcoming and accommodating. She booked us a nanny for the very next day, and she stayed in touch with me during my stay through text and calls. The kids club itself was super cute, giving off a very warm feeling. During our stay, Ms. Shary and Ms. Meeyrah cared for my daughters - both were very experienced, certified and overall wonderful with my daughters. Ms Meeyrah spent the most time with the girls - from day 2 - she knew at the back of her hand the girls routine - I was blown away by her professionalism, efficiency, and her warm caring and loving nature. At multiple occasions, she suggested going elsewhere eg.. the kid pool, kids club or going to the restaurant so I can have some time to myself - and I enjoyed my alone time very much. My daughters and I have such a wonderful time, and we cannot wait to be back. This was a vacation made in Heaven!!
We were here during the recent turmoil and shelter in place. The staff did an outstanding job adjusting . This resort food was excellent. The staff is unbelievable and the sanctuary Gardens are incredible.. We would definitely come back and highly recommend your consideration.
Garza Blanca has given our family and friends three truly unforgettable vacations, and we just returned home feeling more grateful than ever. We truly couldn’t love it more. During our stay, the town experienced some unexpected and unsettling situations, but the extraordinary staff, the resort’s location, and its thoughtful layout made us feel completely cared for every step of the way. We always had plenty of food and fresh water, and the team worked tirelessly to ensure every guest felt safe, comfortable, and supported. Their dedication did not go unnoticed. The resort itself is stunning, and the food is both abundant and absolutely delicious. With so many dining options, there’s always something new to enjoy. The rooms are clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. We would especially love to thank the incredible Bocados team — Nestor, Elaine, Antonio, Alan, Marco, Arturo, Javier, and Carmen — who worked seamlessly and never missed a beat all week long. The upper pool team was equally wonderful (Juan is fantastic!). There are so many names I wish I would have taken down - everyone we met was so kind. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
Incredible place to stay. Gorgeous, so clean and beautiful. Serene and sophisticated and yet so warm. The staff is amazing. Thank you especially to Blanca Guzman our housekeeper who took such good care of us in our two bedroom panoramic suite, which was jaw dropping beautiful. Also the spa - oh my goodness. Absolute heaven. The food and the service, just impeccable. It was me (in my 40s) and my mother (in her 70s) and we were treated like a blend between family and royalty. We have traveled the world and this is one of our favorite places EVER! We can’t wait to be back.
We always love our stays with Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta. The rooms, pool and spa were spotless and clean. Great food selections 6 restaurants to choose from.. The room was exceptionally well stocked and welcoming… so many lovely and romantic touches.
After booking our trip, Roberto reached out and said he would assist us with transportation and arranging the all-inclusive package. We decided to purchase the all-inclusive plan for 5 of our 7 days since we planned to go into town on the first and last day. We agreed to his quoted price for a private Suburban for four people. Shortly after, he wrote back saying the price had increased. We agreed to the new price. A day later, he informed us the price had increased again and said we were free to book transportation elsewhere. Despite this, we agreed to the second increase. Upon arrival at the airport transportation area, we waited an additional 45 minutes past our scheduled pickup time. When it was finally our turn, the vehicle provided was not a Suburban as promised, but an older, run-down minivan. When I mentioned that we had booked a Suburban, we were told we could wait and see if one became available. We chose to just take the ride. During our stay, I will say that the food at the main restaurants, when you could get in, was very good. (Room service and pool food were not at the same level.) However, many guests with the all-inclusive package were turned away without advance reservations. When attempting to book while onsite, we were repeatedly told everything was “fully booked” until after 8:00 pm, despite seeing many empty tables. Housekeeping missed multiple days, and on other days came as late as 8:00 pm, which we declined since we were already settled in for the evening. The night before checkout, we were given an itemized receipt that included an $8 daily surcharge, which I accepted without issue. The morning of checkout, after we were already in our transportation vehicle (which itself was 20 minutes late), staff came out and said we could not leave until I signed the bill. I went back to the front desk and confirmed I had reviewed the charges and asked whether there were any additions. At that point, they added an additional $50 for our departure day, claiming we had consumed a Coke and items from the snack basket. I explained that while I had moved one Coke in the minibar, we did not consume it, and we did not take the sweets. They said they would need to investigate, while we were already concerned about missing our flight due to the delayed transportation. They showed me a photo of the snack basket with items missing. Ironically, I had actually returned an extra unopened bag of chips to the basket earlier in the week, so there should have been three bags, the photo showed two. Despite writing on the bill that I disputed the charges, we were told we could not leave unless I signed and agreed to them. The essentially held us hostage. It was a very disappointing way to end what was otherwise a very expensive vacation. On a separate note, the resort is not particularly kid-friendly. Water sports and hot tubs are restricted to guests 14 and older. We were not allowed to take a paddle board out with our 7-year-old. The kids club itself is very nice, and the staff there were wonderful — but overall, families with younger children should be aware of the limitations.
Ivan Solis at the pool was a great help for us and our toddler. Provided excellent service
This is our third trip to Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta. My husband and I came here the end of January/beginning of February 2026, meeting friends of ours at the resort. This is a beautiful resort and the views are fabulous. In the past, we’ve stayed in both a high-rise and also the smaller units right on the beach. This trip we stayed in Building 2 on the beach. Previously, this area was all large rocks. They’ve made barriers to make more beach area here. Very nice. We had a walk-in closet, another closet and a large dresser – way more storage than we could ever use. Housekeeping was great! Thank you Almendra for taking such good care of our room every morning and ensuring we had everything we needed. The views from the different buildings are breathtaking! Most buildings are up on the side of mountains, so you’re high up and get wonder views of the bay area. During the winter months the whales arrive – let the shows begin! There is a trolly that takes you around the resort. Please remember to make your dinner reservations prior to arriving, as you may not got the restaurant and/or time you prefer if you wait. I made our dinner reservations, for 4, towards the end of November for our January/February trip. There is a concierge here, but honestly, I’m not sure that there was a lot of value for the ‘service’. Because our friends had arrived a few days before us, they were able to make reservations for the 4 of us at the new Peruvian restaurant (which is very good). I asked the concierge to cancel the reservation I had made for that night online prior to arriving. My husband got a text message later that evening that said ‘we missed the four of you for dinner’, so obviously our reservation was not cancelled. We had a similar experience when we changed the time of one of reservations. We went ½ hour later, and later received a message that we never showed for dinner. We found that if you’re at the pool or at the beach you can have lunch delivered to you. Very convenient and it was tasty! We were also grateful that the ‘get up early and save a chair’ game isn’t played here. You could find chairs throughout the day, at the pools and the beach. We spent a lot of our days at the roof top pool in the new Sanctuary building. Our waitress there, Mariam, took great care of us. DAO, contemporary Chinese, was a very good meal. Our waiter, Alberto, was amazing, giving us excellent suggestions and providing outstanding service. The Hiroshi restaurant has been revamped a bit. It’s been relocated to the new Sanctuary building. In addition to sushi, they now also have table grills for Korean BBQ dishes. Our waiter, Andre, who also did the cooking at the table, explained how the process worked and helped us in selecting a good variety of dishes. Thank you Andre for the very special meal. Hiroshi was also serving a la carte breakfast as well – it was fantastic food. I had the Quesa Birria – it was the best ever!!! Luis and Erik, our waiters, were a pleasure. Bacados, the steak house, has very good food. They serve breakfast and dinner, with tables both inside and out. Our waiter Julian was very attentive. Blanca Blue (Mexican) has a buffet available for breakfast, which had a large variety of dishes to choose from as well as an omelet and crepe station. We thought the buffet was very good. They are also open for lunch and dinner (a la carte). I had a disappointing dinner there. In the past the meals were very good, so maybe it was just an off day for them. Our waiter, Marco, was good and had someone from the kitchen come out to speak with us. Thank you to Orlando, our waiter at NOI (Italian); you were fabulous and our meals were excellent. You will also find a nice bar outside of this Italian restaurant. The lobby bar is small, though there are some chairs and tables. Cons – My only complaint would be having to sign for your meals and drinks if you’re all inclusive. We kept forgetting that we had to sign. We’d get up to leave and the poor waiter would have to come running after us telling us we need to sign. We’ve never had to do this at any other all-inclusive resort we’ve been to. Bit of a bother, but not that bad. A bonus is they now have a sports bar in the new Sanctuary building. HUGH screens to watch! You will find live music by individual musicians throughout the resort at different places and times. It’s wonderful sitting in a lobby listening to the piano being played. We enjoyed an acoustic guitar during one dinner and the sax player at another dinner. Very nice touch if you’re able to time it right. Extra Activities to do – While this isn’t part of the resort, this excursion is a must! Even though my husband and I went here on our last trip here, we once again took a cab to Jardin Bontanico, a beautiful botanical garden. It was lovely to walk through and look at all the plants. There’s paths and buildings throughout the gardens, with peacocks, chickens, and lots of other birds to see. You can also support their efforts by going to their restaurant. We had lunch there; the food was really good and very reasonably priced. Our waiter, Armando, was fabulous. You can’t go to Puerto Vallarta without taking a cab to the Malecon and exploring the romantic zone. There is usually various entertainment as you walk along the boardwalk. People playing instruments, the Mayans on the very tall pole, spinning. There are lots of beautiful statues as well. There’s also a pier that looks like a sailboat in the distance.
The location is beautiful. We could watch whales from our 2 bedroom panoramic balcony. The room was very nice and clean (aside from the countertop stools and kitchen table chairs needing a clean) The food was above acceptable but not the best I have had at an all inclusive. I would give it an 8/10. Lunch at Blanca Blue gave 3 spoonfuls of soup in a big bread bowl. I was told i should order a second if that’s not enough. 1. I shouldn’t have to, I eat very little and that was ridiculous. 2. All inclusive is optional. They are charging people for that. We had dinner there another night and when we got to dessert, the brought the menu and a card thing advertising churros, so of course the kid and us decided churros. They were an up charge from all inclusive. Churros. Every menu had the premium, some were marked with the chef. Drinks liked to mark the category. It got extremely annoying to make sure we were still in our all inclusive as we got a few days in. They are always coming around with drink carts, not included, a tray with lobster at the pool, not included. The carousel, not included (the kids club is extremely lacking and very little for kids to do). It felt like constant squeezing and this trip was more expensive than other top tier resorts I have stayed at with better food and most if not all of those “premiums” included. The concierge is there to sell time shares. She told us if we go to the time shares presentation to help her she would help us make our vacation less bad. I was mad at the concierge by the time we had even arrived at the hotel. We had emails from them telling us we needed to hook our dinners 30 days in advance. There were 5 of us including a child which narrows down where you can go and none of the restaurant’s websites worked properly. When we had asked the concierge to help us, they go us 2 reservations. We were there 7 days. I had to struggle through it ourself. Our new concierge was told I was not impressed or happy. Her solution I guess was that we had to give up a morning of our overpriced vacation for their “vacation club” presentation for a discount for the spa. I don’t know what I was thinking. Anyway, we did it and never heard from her again. That’s all she wanted. The spa is okay. The view is beautiful and the hydrotherapy stations are all there but it was small and crowded and people were wearing their outdoor shoes in there, not spa shoes. It was okay but wouldn’t crack the top 10 of spas I have been to. (My massage was great) The kids club barely exists. There’s nothing for the kids to really do. The 4 year old on our trip was bored and tired of doing adult stuff. When you get your meals even with the all inclusive they brung a bill at the end. The prices for these meals are unrealistic, while the food was good, it is not worth that money. We have paid way less for better food. The staff other than concierge and front desk were absolutely excellent. I don’t have a bad word for any of them. Tito at the main pool was awesome. Housekeeping was awesome. The panoramic pool staff was awesome. I absolutely will not be back and have canceled my trip for April. It was booked before we decided on this trip. It’s a very nice apartment complex. It is not a great 5 star luxury all inclusive resort.
The standout qualities of Garza Blanca Preserve and Resort are the stunning natural setting and the incredible service from wait staff and tour guides. The wait staff at the various restaurants at the resort provided the kind of attentive service and friendliness that has become hard to find from service professionals, at least in the U.S. We were particularly impressed with Gio and Arturo at Bocados Steak House, and Gerardo and Orlando at Noi. In addition, Tito, our garden tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable charming and enthusiastic; and Salvador, our hiking guide was full of energy, attentive to everyone’s safety, and generally a joy to be around. The natural setting at the resort was truly spectacular. A enormous effort was made during construction to preserve the natural rainforest surrounding the buildings, which gives it a lovely Garden of Eden atmosphere. The explosion of plant life and the songs and activities of exotic birds were a joy to observe from the sizable balcony of our junior suite. Though the beach had a fair number of rocks that sometimes made walking barefoot difficult, it also seemed part of the more rugged, less groomed natural environment of the resort. In all honesty, We found the staff at the Garza Blanca front desk and concierge to be somewhat less eager to please than the other service staff. They were less warm overall and quite slow to respond when we had issues with noise in our room from the A/C, and problems with our safe. Visitors should also expect the typical pressure from concierge to attend marketing presentations for memberships, etc. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our experience at Garza Blanca. Though we usually don’t like to go back to resorts we’ve visited, I would definitely consider returning to the resort if we stayed in one of the newer towers.
Excellent food. Beautiful resort. Very clean and friendly. Always going back. Great service by our butlers Leo and Ulises.
This was the best vacation, celebrating our daughters 7th birthday❤️The best part was Bocados Steak house , the staff Gio, Alan , Arturo , Tono, Ricardo M Rodriguez , Mesero , And their Manager Elaine , sang happy birthday to her every day and did Mexican fireworks for her everyday . They made sure her and my niece had the best breakfast and anything they wanted ❤️❤️And made the best drinks for me and my husband, he said that was the best old fashioned he had on the the resort. Definitely a 10/10 ❤️❤️❤️will be returning in the future ❤️❤️
Garza Blanca is the best! Fourth time here and we will definitely be back. The entire resort is beautiful. Service and food are all top notch. Blanca was our room attendant and Gabriella did our turn down service every night. Both took wonderful care of us. You will not be disappointed if you choose Garza Blanca for your next vacation
Garza Blanca is the finest resort in Puerto Vallarta and in our opinion the best in Mexico. Located approximately 30 minutes south of the international airport you are a short cab/uber ride to El Centro, but away from the noise and crowded tourist activity. Each room has an unobstructed view of the Bay of Banderas and become your home away from home. The real attraction to Garza Blanca besides all the other amenities is the amazing staff who can't do enough to make your experience unforgettable. We spend 2-3 months a year at the resort and the staff treat us as part of their family, with loving care and kindness. We have a lifetime of memories we continue to add to with every visit.
We love Garza Blanca, Cancun/Cabo and we were last at GB Puerto Vallarta 2016 and 2017. So many changes, so much growth, all for the better! Beautiful accommodations, great setting, amazing restaurants, perfect weather! Another great visit, beyond our expectations!
Room was nice beautiful view nice staff service was quick noise was not loud very beautiful location looking forward to coming back
First, a shout out to Rodrigo the hike leader and Javier the server at Mizika. You made our trip amazing and Garza Blanca is lucky to have you! My husband and I stayed for five days for our tenth anniversary, at the Garza Blanca on the beach with the all-inclusive offering. We ate at most of the restaurants, explored all of the hotels, did a couple of excursions, and spent time at the pool and on the beach. Overall, it was definitely a 5 star experience, but some experiences/restaurants were way better than others, and there are certain things that are worth actively avoiding. Here’s goes: Garza Blanca “honeymoon suite”: The room was super nice. There was a double-vanity, hot tub, walk in shower, and separate toilet with frosted glass door. The room had a king size bed, small sofa and table, TV, and separate wet mini at at the entrance. The bed faced one of two double sliding doors onto a wraparound corner balcony with a hot tub, two lay-flat lounge chairs, and a breakfast table. It was comfortable, and the view was incredible. We saw whales and a pod of dolphins just standing in our balcony. Despite one side of the balcony facing the pool, we never had an issue with guest noises except sometimes hearing others in their balconies but the roar of the surf generally drowned out all the other noises. Room service was included in the all-inclusive plan. We had breakfast on our balcony one day, ordered it and they came and set it all up on the balcony for us. The food plus view was perfect. The minibar gets re-stocked daily but also on demand and includes canned juices, flat water and mineral water, gatorade, and a variety of beers. There is also a snack basket that is refilled only once a day, with a snickers bar, m&ms, salty and spicy peanut bags, a snack mix and a granola bar. There are two pools at the main Garza Blanca hotel, right next to each other. We didn’t go to any of the other pools because I prefer to be on/near the beach. We generally didn’t have trouble getting lounge chairs but if you’re picky about where exactly you sit, you’ll want to go early (by 9 am, latest) to reserve your spot. You get waiter service poolside and can order food and drinks to eat right there. The beach is just a few steps down from the pool deck. It’s pebbly/rocky in parts and will tear your feet apart when a big wave comes in, but they also have a small all-sand area that they appear to be trying to expand. Like all beaches, it’s publicly accessible so there are people trying to sell you stuff but they aren’t pushy and there are plenty of wait staff around to shoo them off if you need help. Beach has umbrellas and lounge chairs reserved for guests only. Attached to the lobby is the Blanca Blue restaurant, which serves breakfast (buffet), lunch, and dinner. We ate breakfast there every day but one, and the buffet was good and had a zillion varieties of food. Don’t miss the french toast, it’s delicious. You’re also offered mimosas and special smoothies that are considered “premium” which means not included in the all inclusive plan. You do get 20 percent off if you’re in the all inclusive plan, but just double check when you order a smoothie or mimosa that it isn’t premium. They’ll make the mimosa with sparkling wine instead of Moet (which, IMO, should never be in a mimosa anyway!) so that it isn’t premium and is included. In general, all the lobster and scallop offerings were premium and not included, but never more than 10 percent of the menu at any place was premium. The juice is fresh squeezed and service is great. Lunch at Blanca Blue is just ok. The tacos are good, the tostados are both not tostados and not great. The chilled seafood is so cold it basically has no flavor. Dinner is good and comes with a great view. Service here is great. It can get crowded at breakfast time, we went fairly early every day (before 10 am) and never had to wait. We had lunch poolside twice, which is a slightly more basic menu but actually has great food, better than Blanca Blue. The pizza was good, the chicken caesar was delicious, and my husband and I both loved the tacos. In additional n to Blanca Blue, we had dinners at DAO (Chinese), Noi (Italian), Mizika (Peruvian) and BocaDos (steakhouse). First the good: DAO was delicious and a very cool, trendy looking place. It was our first night and I was tired so we ate early and it was basically empty except a very loud piano player. Hands down best experience though was at Mizika. Huge shout out to JAVIER at Mizika who encouraged us to practice our terrible Spanish, recommended the best food to order, took service slow and didn’t rush us, and just generally made sure we had a good time. I would have eaten there again if we had had time. Absolute 10/10, the food was incredible for every single bite from appetizer to dessert. The not so good: Noi was not great. It was so loud that we were shouting across the table at each other. The food wasn’t great, and entrees were served before we even finished our appetizers. Then our waiter got caught up in some big production of a dessert and we had to sit and wait for our bill for over 20 minutes. It was the only bad service we had but it was noticeably lower quality than anywhere else we ate. BocaDos was similar, if quieter and better-ish service. The food was just ok and all happened very quickly. I barely finished one glass of wine during appetizers and dinner because everything came so quickly. The orange tree dessert was very cool, especially in the setting. But the food was just not worth the experience overall. We went on a hiking excursion with the amazing RODRIGO who took us to a waterfall where we got to swim. He was entertaining and informative, and remembered us every time we saw him the rest of the rip. They should probably do a better job warning guests about the physical requirements of the hike, there were a few elderly folk who couldn’t really safely keep up. But do the waterfall hike if you can, it was a beautiful experience. Expect to get wet. A couple other thoughts: getting around the resort can be confusing at first. You ride a little shuttle from place to place and it goes the same route and makes the same stops every time, so you do learn it eventually but depending on where you’re going it can take up to 15 minutes to get there. We never waited longer than 10 minutes for the shuttle, often just 3-5 minutes. If you tell the shuttle driver where you’re going, they will make sure you get off at the right stop. Some of the newer rooftop pools are off-limits to Garza Blanca guests. Another weird thing is the “shopping area” which I think must be relatively new but reminded me of Dubai or something. It was very artificial seeming, and basically empty the entire time we were there. I went once to browse while my husband worked out and the first shop I went into was completely empty, not even staffed. Eventually a young woman came in to ask if I wanted to try anything on. When I left and went to the next shop down, she followed me in because she was also working there. It was super weird and uncomfortable, which is not her fault but just felt phony. We went to the shops again after dinner one night to buy some sunburn lotion and waited so long in the empty shop that I was tempted to just take it and go. Finally we went to the gelateria next door and found the woman who was supposed to be in the drugstore chatting with the workers there. Kind of annoying. Overall though, the service, views, and room made it 5/5. The staff was kind, generous, and proactive in helping with everything you could want. Every order of sparkling water was accompanied by a tray of freshly sliced citrus fruit to garnish the water, they spread your napkin in your lap and scooted your chair in for you, had purse stands at every table. Just very thoughtful, luxurious service. I highly recommend doing the all-inclusive package, food prices are absolutely insane to pay as you go and there is enough variety for at least 3-4 days worth of good meals. Any longer of a stay and I’d spend half my time there and half my time at a hotel in the zona romántica to enjoy the street food and restaurants there.
Everything was exceptional. The food and staff made my stay memorable.
This was our second stay at Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta, and I truly can’t imagine going anywhere else for a quiet, luxury winter getaway. From the moment we arrived, it felt like coming back to our happy place. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite in Tower 5, complete with panoramic ocean views, a wraparound balcony, a private infinity hot tub, and a steam shower. It was pure indulgence. Most mornings were spent enjoying room service on the balcony, coffee in hand, soaking in the view—unreal. The food is impeccable. On both visits we dined at Bocados, Hiroshi, Aquazul, and Blanca Blue, and every meal was exceptional. The service across the entire resort is truly unparalleled, but we have to give special recognition to Juventino and Marco at Blanca Blue. They were absolute standouts—warm, attentive, and genuinely joyful. You could tell they love what they do, and it made every meal feel extra special. And let’s talk about the vibe—those slightly geriatric, peaceful luxury vibes were a huge hit for us 😂 We’re in our 30s/40s and actively seek out calm, refined vacations without crowds, loud music, or chaos. Garza Blanca delivers that quiet luxury flawlessly. Chef’s kiss. If you’re craving a serene, elevated escape where every detail is handled with care, Garza Blanca is it. We already can’t wait to return.
We scoured the internet looking for the perfect winter getaway, and I’m so glad we chose Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta. Our stay was amazing from start to finish. The resort is absolutely stunning — it’s massive, beautifully designed, and there are endless things to explore and enjoy. The food was unbelievable, with every meal feeling like a special experience, and the service throughout the resort was truly top notch. The only slight inconvenience we had was at Hiroshi, where our server unfortunately messed up our order three times and was a bit rude about it. It seemed like he may have been having an off night, and thankfully it didn’t take away from the overall experience. If you’re debating whether to book this resort, don’t hesitate — do it immediately. We can’t wait to come back someday!
Great looking property, but staff and food quality issues. Kids club was extremely lacking and boring. No swim up bar. Alcohol seems low quality compared to other 5 star properties. But it's an extremely beautiful property that needs better management and food quality control IMHO.
We have been annual visitors to Garza Blanca because we are elite members here. The staff recognize us as we are staying once again for 4 weeks every January. We feel like Puerto Vallarta is our second home. Staff reinforce that by putting their hand on their heart saying “Welcome home”. When an employee gives exemplary service, then we like to recognize them. First of all, we appreciate or suite cleaning lady named Amelia. She kept our living quarters very clean and tidy. We were all inclusive so going to a different restaurant daily gave us contact with waiters. We appreciated them so much that we would intentionally sit in their assigned service area. At the new Misika, Cristo Valazio, Carlos Arcinega, Yan(the hostess) and the manager Jairo were pleasantly attentive to our needs to the extent that they exceeded our expectations. We felt like we had gone to Peru getting to experience the new flavors and unique entrees featured there. Other very special employees at each restaurant are: Boccados- Angel, the manager, Ivan, and Xavier Noi- the chef Massimo, manager Arturo, waiter Orlando Dao- Adrianna and David Blanca Blue breakfast waiters (Junior, Xavier, Humberto), hostesses Hanna, Carmen and Jessi, omelet man Josue Ramiere Altonirano and evening waiters, Juventino and Marco Hiroshi- Waiters Gloria, Diego, Ruben, and Ivan Our butlers: Filipe is awesome because he took our requests and always served us to the max. Zuno was also very helpful. Tony, Omar, Tito, Salvador and Rod were very helpful at the pool assisting with seating and drinks. Thank you because the beach pool is favorite!
We loved our time there. Treated like Kings and Queens from the staff. The staff at the new sanctuary pool went out of their way to make sure we had the best time. Jose even went and got poker chips and we sat around with our kids and played blackjack. Our housekeeper, Blanca.Guzman was so friendly every day and made our room gorgeous to come back to. We ended up getting a membership and Gustavo is the man if you’re thinking about it!
Garza Blanca has received a number of negative reviews recently so much so that we considered cancelling our trip we were that worried, but I'm glad we didn't and I'm please to provide the resort with a 4/5 review as we had a great time! Firstly we booked a Junior Panoramic suite and we called ahead asking for a high floor in tower 5, front desk made a note on our reservation and they were able to provide us a room on the 8th floor with stunning views of the beach and ocean. The room was clean and everything worked in the room. The views from the balcony are incredible. Yes the concierge will try to get you to attend the "VIP breakfast on your first day which is the timeshare presentation and offer discount rates on a number of things during your stay if you attend but we politely declined and everything was fine' The resort itself is stunningly beautiful from the landscaping and gardens which are immaculately maintained to the pools and the beach. There's a hot tub that overlooks the Pacific Ocean and the Los Arcos rock features that is truly breathtaking one of the best locations on the property to relax and hangout. I'm happy to report that the beach jetty construction is complete as is Sanctuary Tower so noise from construction is greatly reduced. There is another tower being built but it's further up the hillside near the Hotel Mousai towers and didn't bother us. The food is exceptional at all restaurants everything we ate was fantastic we didn't have a single bad meal and the staff from front desk, to concierges, poolside staff and restaurant staff, housekeeping and staff that drive the trolleys are all extremely friendly and professional. Special shout out to Javier and Naomi at Bacados who looked after us for breakfast most days. The spa is one of the best in the world we've seen anywhere they hydro therapy circuit you have access to before the massages is fantastic and the staff guide you through it. There are only a couple of reasons I can't give Garza Blanca a full 5/5 review. The suites unfortunately have zero sound proofing so you can hear everything in your neighbours adjoining suite; normal conversations, their TV, furniture scraping whatever it is you can hear it. We got fortunate that a young family was next door to us an they were in bed by 10 pm and not up till 8 am. But if you had people next door to you who are there to party I could see it being a problem. The main complaint I have is directly squarely at Hotel Mousai who need to change their practices with regards to music levels late at night. From Wednesday night through Saturday night they blast dance and club music at what can only be described as concert level volumes from their rooftop bar and lobby bar both of which are outdoors. This music travels right across the property and into your suite all of Tower 5 is effected and we couldn't sleep until 1 am two nights in a row. We were there for a baby moon not to party and this was highly disruptive not to mention the drunk Americans who were shrieking and screaming drunk in the bars. We complained at were moved to Tower 4 where we couldn't hear it as much the next two nights. I get it this is an all inclusive resort but not everyone is here to party there are baby mooners like us, retired couples, families with kids. Hotel Mousai needs to get it's act together and reduce the noise impacting other guests on the property. Lastly some of the food is ludicrously overpriced a 40z steak for $70 CAD!! No thank you I can get a 18oz steak in Canada for that price. There are a lot of more affordable things on the menus and we ate well in every restaurant but you an forget steaks or lobster or even some catch of the day fish these prices millionaires wouldn't even pay just out of principal it's pure day light robbery ripping off supposed "rich North Americans" Overall we did enjoy our stay and it is a truly beautiful resort.
This resort is so beautiful and all of the staff were so attentive and went above and beyond! Our room attendant Alma was just wonderful! She left our room so perfect every day and our night room attendant Salma was also so good! All of the help at the resort were excellent!
We stayed at the new Sanctuary building at Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta, and it was truly incredible. Our very first time, and we will be back. The room was amazing, so modern and sleek. All of our food was so delicious! So good, hard to believe it was all - inclusive. Our favorite spot was the new rooftop pool and bar at the sanctuary building. The service there was the best!! Efrain, Miriam, Carlos, Edgar, and Jose were so attentive, gave excellent service, so fun and were there for anything we needed! Quick and quality service made us feel like royalty! We will be coming back to see them!!
Our stay at Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta again this year was wonderful. The service of the butlers and poolside staff left us wanting for nothing. They were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A special shout out to goes to Araceli, the wonderful housekeeper who kept our unit clean and well stocked for the entire 3 weeks. She seemed to be able to anticipate our every need and was happy to fulfill any special additional requests. Furthermore, on the first day, she welcomed us warmly, having remembered caring for us and our unit a year ago! Now, that’s some special attention to detail!
Gerado was the best and very attentive.
Our family had an unforgettable Thanksgiving Week at Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta. The 3-bedroom oceanfront penthouse offered breathtaking views and luxurious comfort. Managers Darinka Peña Joya and Johnattan Diaz went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. Highlights included exquisite in-suite dining with a private chef and a magical dinner on the beach, both of which created lasting memories. A special thanks to Rigoberto Gutierrez, who made sure our daily beach cabana experience was flawless and consistently provided outstanding service. Rigoberto truly exemplifies hospitality and is a valuable asset to TAFER Hotels and Resorts.
Everything was spectacular! Staff was amazing! We did many things including kayaking. Our instructor was Jazman. She also gave us paddle boarding lessons. She was so patient, kind and knowledgeable! Both my husband and I were able to stand on our paddle boards! It was our first time. We could tell she loves her job! We also did the mountain hike with Mike. So much fun and loved all his guidance!
Nicole, the supervisor of the check-in staff, made the check-in process absolutely dreadful. She needs to improve her skills as a receptionist. Her performance is zero out of ten. The process was incredibly horrible for our family, taking approximately three hours. If you have more than three or four children, I strongly advise against using this hotel.
Beautiful property with outstanding service, but a few policies took away from the experience. Pros: The grounds are absolutely stunning, and the rooms are impressive—spacious with gorgeous terraces. Service was excellent overall, especially from the pool staff, restaurant teams, and trolley drivers. Special shout-outs to Mike (waterfall hike—challenging but worth it!), Jose, Jorge, and Edgar at the Sanctuary rooftop pool, Salvador at the Garza pool, and Angel, our friendly trolley driver. Can’t remember the name of our server at Hiroshi, but he was outstanding and cooked our food table side. Most of the restaurants I would consider five star… World class, service, and outstanding menus. Our favorites were Hiroshi and Bocados The Spa was also fantastic and in a beautiful rooftop setting Cons; the concierge staff will greet you upon checkin but the focus is on scheduling timeshare presentations which was off-putting. The resort is also very strict about food access: no dining before 3 PM check-in, and food ends at noon on checkout day (checkout is 11 AM). Given the higher price point—and compared to nearby resorts with more flexible policies—this was also disappointing. Pool areas are limited, especially in Garza, and the beach is minimal. While there are beautiful adults-only rooftop pools, access is restricted to guests staying in those buildings. Also, the resort is very big and very hilly. There is a trolley service that runs every 15 minutes, which is not always convenient. It’s a beautiful resort to walk, but walking will be a challenge. Overall, a stunning resort with great service, but restrictive policies and limited shared amenities prevent it from being exceptional.
Our stay here was amazing and convenient. All the employees were extremely nice and helpful, especially our housekeeper Mariana - she went above and beyond!
Bocados was the best restaurant. The people were so nice. The manager Elaine greeted us every day with open arms.
This development is one of the worst in the area for the locals and por the tourist, It has been doing and planning on destroying natural protected areas and privatizing beaches along this coast, terrible service and also when you drive arround the area of the resort it stinks
This was our third trip to Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta. The resort never disappoints and is constantly improving. Our suite was amazing and the staff is beyond friendly, attentive and helpful. One of the things we love most is that they are continually adding and improving the resort from new hotel building with rooftop pool (Sanctuary), to new restaurants (sports bar and new Peruvian restaurant), and now they are improving the beach area!! Great resort whether you are traveling as couples or family. Highly recommend!
This is a fabulous resort with too many amenities to name. The grounds are hundreds of acres of lush foliage dotted with the hotels. There is a trolley that goes between all the restaurants and other points of interest. There are many activities including kayaking and snorkeling just to name a few. I liked Boados restaurant very much and the maitre d, Albino, made sure everything was done to perfection. I would recommend the resort.
Unfortunately, there were quite a few issues, mainly hygiene. Our 1-bedroom suite was not clean. There were dead mosquitoes squished into the walls, stains on the toilet seat, dust and dead flies all inside the main light fixture, and stains on the furniture. The furniture and decor are peeling and damaged. The room had a constant, damp, musty smell from what I believe is a poorly maintained, old air conditioning system The room was full of mosquitoes. We requested that the room be sprayed. This did not help, even with the doors kept closed - they kept coming in, probably through the air conditioning vents. We were not provided robes, slippers, or a hammock until a few days in. Regarding the hotel, it is not clear that the gym and most activities do not happen on site, but rather require a trolley ride across a main road to a different hotel. Finally, upon checkout, tips had been added to bills that I did not sign for. We tipped at every meal, except breakfast, as it's self-service. Obviously, this leaves a bad impression. Overall, this was not a 5-star hotel experience - at all. The condition of the room was simply not good enough for what we booked and paid for.
This was our third time visiting Garza Blanca in PV. Our experience was ok due to an issue with our bed sheets being replaced with what it was supposed to be clean sheets. Instead we got sheets that had blood stains on them. They took care of the issue immediately but we were disappointed. The best part of our trip was hanging out at the panoramic view pool. The staff is amazing, one person that stood out was Roberto. He was attentive, super energetic and made sure we were happy with our drinks and food.
Ivan Solis was such an incredible host over the course of the week. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service every day! Could not be happier with how amazing the staff is
Our son and family treated my wife with a 75th birthday vacation. The accommodations were outstanding. The condo spacious. Mariana delivered a bouquet of flowers for my wife’s birthday! Special touches like this made our stay memorable. The staff at the restaurants, pool, trolley and front desk made sure our needs and special requests were met! We plan to return. PS: The all inclusive is the best choice for a multi-generational gathering. Thank you!!
Back for another stellar visit. Stayed in the grand penthouse #5122 with our two adult children and their significant others. I 100% recommend staying in the penthouse instead of booking 3 separate rooms. The two story room is truly beautiful- over the top and huge- about 5,000 sf. We had a divine dinner - lamb/fish/ duck ravioli (!) prepared by chef Alfredo from Bocados. If you have the chance to ever do this, do it!! He brought Daniel who is a fabulous mixologist!! Had an 80 minute deep tissue massage in the Spa with Andrea. She is exceptionally talented - this was superior to my massages back home! This was probably our 8th visit and it did not disappoint!!
I recently returned from Garza Blanca with my husband and my 4 month old son for my 40th birthday trip and we had a wonderful time! I read so many reviews about the hotel prior to booking and almost considered canceling or booking because of the many recent negative reviews but so happy we didn't we had a fabulous time. The hotel itself is gorgeous and amazing views wherever you go. Our last day at breakfast at Bocados we saw so many whales in the bay which was such a treat! The spa and hydrotherapy were amazing with amazing views! The food was delicious at all the restaurants we tried and the staff went out of their way to make you feel special. Special shoutout to Mariana our housekeeper and Juventino, Marco and Jeraldo at Blanca Blue. Thank you for an amazing vacation!
Miriam at the roof top Santuario is my new favorite waitress of all time. So attentive, friendly and just over all amazing! Highly recommend going to the roof top pool at Santuary Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta. Make sure Miriam is your waitress!
We had the best time here! The views are amazing at every restaurant, and the food is good, NOT the typical all-inclusive food. We went to the places that were family friendly and each one was truly a dining experience. The hospitality did not stop there. At the pool (Alejandro) the trolly service, concierge, room service, housekeeping - we always felt welcomed, wanted, and that our expressed/unexpressed wants and needs were being addressed. In the US, you need to go the Ritz-Carlton for this level of service, in Mexico you NEED to go to Garza Blanca, Puerto Vallarta. ****Special shout out to our housekeeper, Mariana, who went above and beyond to connect with us and make us feel special. She noticed I had set up some photos on the wall with “40” balloons as to celebrate my wife’s birthday. She brought me some goodies from the spa to set her up with the best bubble bath, and two red roses for me to peel and float on top of the bubbles. Needless to say, my wife, nor I will forget our time spent at Garza Blanca, Puerto Vallarta! We will be back. I hope this review helps you to decide where to vacation!
The hotel itself is nice, and for the price it’s hard to beat in Puerto Vallarta. That said, bottom line: this is not an honest operation. You either bite the bullet and deal with the BS, or you spend the extra money and stay at the Four Seasons or St. Regis. We booked a Junior Suite and were instead put into a Superior Suite in Tower 3. The same thing happened to our friends earlier that day. They arrived first and pushed back, so they were moved. We arrived late, exhausted, and were told we’d need to “relocate in the morning” and spend the night in a room we did not pay for. What bothered me most wasn’t the mistake—it was how it was handled. They already knew this had happened to our friends hours earlier, yet chose not to proactively disclose the issue at check-in. Instead, they let us go to the room, hoping we wouldn’t push back. Predictably, I went back to the front desk and complained. Only then did they claim it was a “plumbing issue.” If that’s true, just be upfront. Don’t dance around it. The manager told us we could either email the company we booked through for a credit or that he could issue the credit himself. The booking company explicitly told me to ask the manager to issue a credit of around $180, which reflected the actual price difference between the two room categories. In the end, the hotel offered a $50 resort credit, which was presented as if it were meaningful compensation. What made this even more ridiculous: a honeymooning couple standing next to us laughed and said not to believe the $50 credit story because it was already included in their reservation. On top of that, our friends also received a $50 credit at checkout simply for complaining about something unrelated. So clearly, this “credit” is a generic pacifier they hand out routinely, not real compensation. For context, this is a hotel that charges tip fees on the minibar, sells $20 cocktails, and prices seafood as “catch of the day.” A $50 credit is meaningless in that environment. The situation escalated further when the manager threatened to call security if I didn’t immediately sign and pay my bill. This, despite the fact that they already had my credit card, passport, and all of my information on file, and we were spending thousands of dollars just to stay there. Threatening security over a billing dispute in this context is absurd and completely out of touch with how service works at a true luxury property. To be fair, once things settled, we did have a mostly nice stay. Most of the staff were friendly and trying their best. However, there are a lot of unnecessary “friction” rules and policies that add up and keep this place firmly in the average tier of five-star resorts, not the top tier it wants to be in. One important note for future guests: Tower 1–3 are the older beachfront towers. Towers 4 and 5 are newer, on the mountainside, and a completely different (and better) experience. We were initially placed in Tower 3 and had to complain again just to be moved to Tower 5, which is what we effectively paid for in the first place. You can blame this on Mexico if you want, but this isn’t cultural—it’s leadership. This is a management issue from the top down. Something here is fundamentally broken. Would I return? Maybe, but only with eyes wide open. If you value transparency, proactive communication, and real service recovery, spend more and go elsewhere. If you’re price-sensitive and willing to manage problems yourself, you can make it work—but don’t confuse this with true luxury hospitality.
We had an incredible holiday with the whole family of 15 at Garza Blanca. Ron, and Salvador were fun activities people. Rigoberto and Omar were incredible with their poolside service and attention. Jose, head of our Butler team, made sure all of our needs were met. Almendra in housekeeping could not have been better! Can’t wait to return again next year!
Beautiful location and the water is so clear. It was a relaxing stay to start my trip. The spa is amazing and everyone should try the Hydro Therapy at the spa! The rooms are very comfortable. I had a corner studio with a large balcony and spent time in the hammock! Lunch and dinner at Aquazul & Blanca Blue was always good. Rosa (housekeeping) was outstanding and greeted me every morning and had a warm smile. That was a great way to start each day! She took great care of the room and provided outstanding service! Thank you Rosa!!!
Extremely disappointing experience. We paid $1,900 for one night all-inclusive, only to be charged for breakfast the next morning!! Management claimed that “all-inclusive” only applies to the day of arrival, which is completely unreasonable. This felt misleading and petty. There are many beautiful resorts in Puerto Vallarta—this is not one I would recommend. Very disappointing as they try to extort you right before leaving the property!
I really wanted this to be a good experience after a couple good recommendations from my family ( albeit 10 years earlier) but I cannot say I would recommend it to anyone. I write this review 6 months later when I was asked by some friends if they should go to Garza in PVR. They said our pictures were beautiful and it looked amazing. And while this is true, I could not recommend it due to management practices I experienced. While a beautiful property yes, I warn anyone, you may not get what you booked and paid for…… and it’s clearly a business practice. My wife and I traveled with our 3 year old daughter and did research as to where on the property we wanted to stay. They have 3 beach front buildings near the main pool and lobby/restaurant complex. They have 2 additional buildings up the massive hillside only reachable by trolley which run every 10-15 min. We wanted to be down by the beach with our child for easy access around the property. I called their reservation line multiple times to confirm this and was told I would be in buildings 1-3. I booked direct with them. Great! I was weary based on some past reviews of this resorts practice of moving guests with no other option ( even off the property in high season!) but was satisfied and ready to go. Then I checked in……. I was greeted very cold by an agent of the hotel. No warm welcome. No drink ( as they clearly had in the lobby). And told I was in building 5 up the hill. I knew better due to research and told him I specifically booked a room type that was only in buildings 1-3 on the beachfront. He said they had none of those available and my room was an upgrade. I said I don’t want an upgrade because of my child and want what I booked and confirmed twice via the hotel phone line. He said there’s nothing we can do but we can see if we can move you in two days time. I demanded to see a manager. 20 minutes went by. Finally he returned and said we have one ground floor room available in building 3. Fine. It’s near the beach. Then it continued. While he was away “checking with his manager” I went on the hotel website and saw the same room type in a beachfront building available starting that day for our exact stay dates. I told him this and his response was “ OH THAT DOESNT MATTER IF SOMEONE BOOKS THAT TODAY WE WOULD JUST CHANGE THEIR ROOM TYPE”!!!!!!!!! Wow. THIS IS A MANAGEMENT PRACTICE!!! He glossed over it like it was nothing. They go through the effort of displaying specific room types in specific locations at specific prices and have no intention of honoring it. From there ….. we were in Garza jail as I like to call it. Far corner ground level room. Dead bugs on the floor. No turn down service. Nothing. So I asked to move. We were told three days later we could move to a second floor same room type. And…. That was great. Clean nice room. Turn down service. Beautiful views. No construction. This is what Garza was supposed to be. But I took a massive effort calling them out on their mal practice. I will say…. When it’s its right… this place is great. However… I cannot recommend any of my friends or family to stay here as you just don’t know what you will get and it was confirmed to me they don’t honor your booking at all. Watch out for this mischief. I would love to go back if I knew I’d get the room I booked and paid for….. but there is no way to know that. And there are other great options in PVR that can assure you of that. And don’t expect any compensation for their mal practice. Just sad given how beautiful the property is and how good the food is. Want to go back, but can’t do it and trust I’ll get what I booked and paid for. Be warned.
Well the Garza is a very nice resort. Some call it a hotel but it’s much more than that. I did like our assigned room because it was large with a huge walk-in closet for our clothes and shoes. The room was tastefully decorated with earthen ochre colors. We had a nice balcony with a hammock and 2 chairs and a table overlooking Banderas Bay. They have a nice pool especially for the children because it has fountains shooting water up on the far end of the main pool, but I must add that it is a small pool for the size of the resort and there were a lot of children. I am always amazed by parents who bring their children all the way down to Mexico. This resort is literally at the base of the mountains with very few areas with fauna around. It’s squeezed between the road and the ocean. We did have the opportunity to use the pools at the Mousai Hotel and let me tell you it is NICE! It is located on the top floor and the view from up there is killer. A wonderful spot to view the sunset. The TerraLuna gardens is beautiful and well maintained and landscaped. Took many pictures there. The food was delicious at all the restaurants. Overall this place is a very good choice to vacation but very little beach. There are large boulders placed out in the water to form a small cove area and it really breaks down the rollers that come ashore but there is no strolling down the beach for a walk and that’s the only drawback. BTW we Ubered into town which I recommend because it’s 1/3 the price of a taxi and the pickup vehicles are usually nicer than the cabs.
The resort was beautiful! The property is stunning, and our room had a perfect ocean view. The service was top quality and so was the food. While I speak Spanish, my friend does not, but everyone speaks perfect English. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian restaurant but all other restaurants have amazing food. The bar service really made us feel spoiled ! Lastly, the spa not only has a beautiful view but the hydrotherapy and massage made us feel pampered and relaxed, which was the whole point of this trip. It was very convenient to book our excursions on-site. The bellmen were very helpful and a wealth of information. We enjoyed ourselves very much!
On December 20th, we arrived at Garza Blanca with our daughters to celebrate Christmas. Prior to our trip, we made several calls requesting that our rooms be located together, but since two-bedroom accommodations weren’t available, we were promised rooms on the same floor. However, upon check-in, the front desk staff was exceedingly rude, placing us in two separate towers. When we expressed our concerns, they merely shrugged and claimed the hotel was fully booked, offering no assistance. Frustrated, we asked for a refund and mentioned we would seek another hotel that could accommodate our family. Our request was outright denied, with the staff insisting that we would have to remain in separate towers. We spoke to the manager, but she dismissed our issues. After a lengthy two-hour struggle, they mentioned that perhaps we could be moved to the same tower the following day. To add insult to injury, no welcome drinks were offered, and nobody at the front desk seemed interested in addressing our concerns. Our children were in Tower 4, while my husband and I were placed in Tower 5, which wasted our first day. No one offered to give us a property tour, and when we asked the concierge for directions to Tower 4, we were told to ask the bellman. The hotel’s operations were quite perplexing. The concierge was also unhelpful when we tried to make a reservation at their restaurant, Boca Dose, claiming there was no availability. Yet when we arrived at the restaurant, we were seated right away. Our entire day was consumed with negotiating for a room in the same tower, followed by the exhausting task of unpacking our children’s luggage in one tower and then dragging our own suitcases to another. On the morning of our second day, we received a call instructing us to pack our bags within 30 minutes as they would move us to Tower 4. We were thrilled, but the catch was that we had to first attend a 75-minute timeshare presentation. Despite our terrible first day, we agreed, eager to be closer to our daughters. Upon reaching the timeshare location, we were asked to call our girls to join the tour, which could last several hours. I flatly refused, as my daughters had no interest in this. I was only participating in the tour to be reunited with my kids, as it was a condition for the room switch. At the timeshare, we met Katie, who was the first person to truly listen to our concerns and express a desire to help. She understood our disappointment with the resort. Later, a gentleman at the timeshare candidly said, “We’re not a hotel; our rooms on Expedia are rented out through our members or residents.” So, travelers, beware: this place is great for residents or members, but for everyone else, it comes with a hefty price tag of $150,000 if you want to stay as a family. Had we known this earlier, we would have never booked this resort. We politely declined the timeshare offer due to our dreadful experience with the front desk, who seemed indifferent, and the concierge, whose primary goal appeared to be getting guests to attend the timeshare presentation. The only exception was a staff member named Modesta, who genuinely tried to help. Our rooms were finally switched at 4:00 PM after a long and frustrating day. After spending five hours at the timeshare presentation, where we were shown the luxurious offerings of places like Hotel Mousai, we were left feeling incredibly frustrated. Two out of our six vacation days were wasted, which dampened our spirits significantly. They were trying to make a sales pitch where we were having the most dreadful time separated from our family. The property itself is beautiful and lush, but our initial room in Tower 5 had a moldy bathroom, and the shower door wouldn’t close properly. We chose not to escalate the issue since our priority was simply to be closer to our daughters. Eventually, we were moved to Tower 4, with our girls on the 7th floor and my husband and I on the 10th—thankfully, still in the same tower. The restaurants were pleasant, and the staff there made up for the lackluster service at the front desk and concierge. However, families should be aware that four out of the eight restaurants are adults-only, including Karuma, which is not included in the all-inclusive package. We were relieved that we opted out of the all-inclusive option. While there are family-friendly dining options like Blanca Blue, Karuma, Boca Dose, and beachside restaurant, the choices can become repetitive by day three. It would have been nice if the Chinese and Italian restaurants allowed kids until 8 PM before switching to adults-only. During our stay, we were disappointed by the lack of festive activities for Christmas, especially when compared to other five-star resorts like Four Seasons or One&Only, which typically offer more celebratory events. Additionally, be warned that a highway runs between the property, creating a constant noise that can disrupt the peace and quiet in the rooms, particularly during the early mornings and late evenings. The beach was enjoyable, though it was marred by the sound of excavators moving rocks while guests were trying to relax. Our server on the beach, Roberto Gallerdo, was a standout and provided exceptional service. I do want to give a shout out to Laura our housekeeper, Isabella in the spa, Roberto at Blana Blue, Katie at their time share for helping us find moments of joy and peace. Ultimately, if this property operated more like a traditional hotel, it could vastly improve the guest experience. Unfortunately, their primary focus seems to be selling timeshares, which can be frustrating for those simply looking to unwind and spend quality time with family. It would also be beneficial if the front desk and concierge staff were a bit more welcoming and hospitable. We had high hopes for this vacation but returned with a sense of disappointment.
The service here is horrific! They just try to sell you a membership and then when you come back the service is horrible. I am at Puerto Vallarta now and have complained about a leak in our bathroom and they keep sending up a maintenance person and the leak keeps coming back and they are not giving us any resolutions and are dismissive when we ask for a resolution. If this is how they treat their paying members imagine the non paying people.
Had a great time. Had modest expectations as it was an all inclusive - and thought the accommodations and food would reflect that. We were very pleasantly surprised. Service was outstanding as were many of the restaurants… Gio Noemi and Ruben at Bocado for breakfast went above and beyond. Highly recommend Hiroshi and Dao for dinner and the view, food and service at Bocado for breakfast. The spa was top notch. This was my first time in PV and was such an easy trip, safe, beautiful geography-a great, very reasonable family get away with three college students. Recommend a tequila factory and tasting tour if you have time… our sons enjoyed golfing…saw several whales during breakfast. Thank you for a great time!
Extent stuff and service very accmadting over all butiful resorts land scape is big and butiful gardens food at all the restaurant is amazing
We have been coming to the Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta almost every year since 2013 always staying in the beach towers and have seen some immense changes in the property, some good and some not so good. The older beach buildings are starting to show some wear and tear as would be expected over 12 years but they are being well maintained. The furnishing must be being replaced on a regular basis as they show little wear. Some of the appliances in the kitchen are showing their age but on the whole still function properly. The beach has gone through a number of transformations since 2013 the pristine flour like sand that covered the beach was heavily eroded away during a storm and has subsequently been re-established over the years by removing rocks and building breakwaters until the beach is once again one of the best in the area. A fake reef was being added outside of the breakwaters while we were there this time and will enhance the already wonderful snorkeling available mere steps from the resort. The one thing that seems to remain constant is the dedication of the staff to provide superior service to their guests in a friendly yet professional manner. From the moment you arrive the Bellboys treat you like your are back at your home away from home and that is especially true of Margarito who we have known for many years and he is always willing to assist in any way possible to make your stay the best ever. The front desk staff are always friendly, efficient and professional and always greet you with a smile. The pool waiters work so hard and are attentive to your every need. One who we always find to be special is Ivan who has every quality you could ask for in a waiter and is an excellent ambassador for the resort. We have been lucky the last couple of years to have the same cleaning lady, Rosa, who although she has limited English is able to communicate well enough to ensure our needs are always met. As I like to partake in the resort activities I have got to know many of the activities staff and I always enjoy just how dedicated they are to doing a great job. Tito is always so friendly and helpful and his knowledge of the area is second to none. The younger members of this team are exceptional, Mike, Salvador, Jose, Rod and Jasmine who do everything from ceviche making classes, to hikes to the waterfall and up the mountain, to botanical garden tours, to salsa dancing lessons, to snorkeling, to looking after all of your needs around the pool. As I like to be involved in these activities as do many others it is this group who really make my holiday the best. They are the best doing their best to make the Garza the best. My wife and I look forward to seeing these people every time we come. We did not visit any of the restaurants this time, other than order room service which was always delivered in a timely manner, as we enjoy doing our own cooking using local supplies. We will be returning again next winter and look forward to once again visiting this beautiful resort but more importantly want to see our friends, the staff, again.
A big thank you to all the amazing staff: Jose and Marcos our pool concierge, Ronnie, the dance instructor, Salvador our hiking guide and also winner of the best staff member! Also, I’m also grateful to the stretching instructors! We really appreciate how friendly and attentive you are! See you in January!
Elite hotel with 5 star restaurants. Hotel staff very friendly & attentive. Will definitely come back again. Rooms were exceptionally clean every day!
We had a great week with our family in PV. Our housekeep (Mariana Lima) was exceptional! Thank you for caring for us all week.
We had visited GB many times before but never in December. Perfect time to visit with ideal temperatures and only one half day of light rain. Although now well over 12 years old the resort remains fresh and modern looking. The changes they have made to the beach area are looking good with additional breakwaters built. There is now more sand at the southern end of the beach and easier access. Staff continue to be exceptional - either Jorge at the reception baggage check to all of the amazing Butler team of Jose, Filipe, Nuno etc.
Had great hikes with Jose and Salvador. Jasmine and Tito were outstanding with paddle boarding and kayaking. Tony was amazing waiter at the beach. Food at all the restaurants was fantastic. We particularly loved eating at DAO.
We dined at Bocado’s Steakhouse for our 15 year anniversary dinner and let me just say this has by far been the best dining experience we have ever had! Not only was the food a 10 out of 10, but the service was nothing like we have ever experienced. Our waiter, Ricardo, was amazing. He helped us with wine selection, and food suggestions that were on point. We started our dinner with Smoked Old Fashions and crab cake and shrimp cocktail appetizers followed by the Beet Salad and the Iceberg Salad which were amazing. Our entree was a 10 oz Tenderloin Filet cooked to perfection and Ricardo suggested to accompany it with their Chimichuri sauce which was SO GOOD! They followed with our anniversary dessert which was a delicious Chocolate Lava Cake and the highlight of the night—a table side Mexican Coffee which was a show in itself! We were blown away by the wonderful food and impeccable service and can’t wait to return!
We are LUX members at Garza Blanca Resort & Spa with 28,000 points. We pay USD $15,000 every year in maintenance fees, which sets very high expectations for service, flexibility, and transparency. Unfortunately, the reality does not match what is sold. When trying to make a December reservation, we were informed that we must pay the following year’s maintenance fee in advance, yet we still do not receive the dates or unit level we request. Most recently, we were told that to secure access for 2027, we would need to pay USD $30,000 in advance—which raises serious questions about logic, fairness, and value. Even when requesting high-level mountain units, availability is consistently denied, despite our LUX status and point level. The “luxury” positioning feels more like premium pricing with standard access. The most frustrating part is the lack of accountability. We have not been able to find a single person who can truly resolve issues or take ownership. Staff are polite, but the response is always the same: “There’s nothing we can do.” For a resort that markets exclusivity and personalized service, this is a major operational gap. Garza Blanca is a beautiful property, but a luxury brand is defined by how it treats its most committed clients, not just by its views. At this level of financial commitment, members deserve clarity, consistency, and real benefits—not more upfront payments with fewer guarantees. At the moment, the value proposition does not align with the cost.
This is our second time coming to this resort but this time we brought our family to experience the same excellent customer service, food quality, variety of drinks, friendly staff, and unparalleled hospitality. Kudos to all the staff who made our stay a memorable one. Particularly to Jose, Humberto, Roberto, and our housekeeping lady, Cynthia, who kept our room clean, organized and well stocked.
The rooms in tower 5 were spectacular Service was impeccable especially Jaime Gustavo, our friendly professional waiter. Evelyn the concierge was particularly helpful. Highly recommend
I spent five weeks at Garza Blanca, Puerto Vallarta. Three weeks solo and two with my daughter in a beach unit. In the early morning and evening, we sat on the private balcony of our suite watching activities in and around the Banderas Bay. We saw a humpback whale quietly feeding, blowing his spout and splashing his tail and pelicans dive bombing for fish with frigates soaring overhead and the most amazing sunsets. Days we spent in a cabana on the beach getting treated like royalty by the friendly staff. A special thank you to the butler team (in alphabetical order): Antonio, Felipe, Jose, Roberto, Victor, Zuno. And our wonderful housekeeper who kept our suite spotless: Araceli. And to Jasmine who led us on a snorkelling tour. The poolside serving staff were wonderful and made me feel at home. Just a few of the people who always greeted me with a friendly smile and knew my name: Tony, Ivan, Oscar, Salvador, Mike, Tito, and, of course, Xavier who gave us colourful flowers to tuck into our hair. (There are many more great staff.) Also a thank you to the concierge staff especially Jessica and Karla. Look forward to seeing you all again in May.
The best stay ever. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious. Mario, Ronaldo, and Jorge took care of us at Blanca Blue! Roberto made our pool experience super fun!
Hotel is very pricy and far from luxurious. Ocean front rooms are so noisy and outdated. Very busy highway is just few metres behind the beach, pool and ocean front buildings. Beach was under construction all the time during our stay so we could watch trucks moving the rocks all day long. Only two restaurants for the families. Very slaw check in, almoust an hour. Chech out fast but they told us that we would not be charged for the damage deposit but they charged us even before our check out and for no reason. When I tried to contact them and to talk to the manager, nobody answered the call. You have to pay 10000 pesos what is almoust 800 CAD at the check in and they charged us during our stay. Person who checked us out said that there wouldn’t be any charge on the credit card but it was.
This was our first trip, and it could not have been any better. All the staff are extremely professional and very nice. 10/10 to our housekeeper Ms. Blanca Guzmen. Highly recommend the all inclusive stay.
This was our 4th trip to Garza Blanca and as usual the staff was incredible. We looked forward to seeing Javier on the beach, he is such a dedicated employee. This year’s standout employee for us was Roberto “Bob” Gallardo, the waiter on the beach. What a hard job he has but he always had the biggest smile! It’s amazing to be in the presence of people who love their jobs and who make the choice daily to be of service to others. Thank you Bob and Javier for taking such great care of us!
Be cautious that this hotel may not honor the room type you reserve. Upon arrival, we expected the honeymoon suite, which we had confirmed with concierge several months prior, but instead we were put in a different room with no notice. We also encountered two other couples in the same predicament, which proves that this is a recurring issue. Our vacation started on a rocky note due to the wasted time spent speaking with management and the inability to fully unpack. Additionally, I didn’t appreciate concierge’s attempt to schedule us in timeshare presentation the moment we arrived. On the plus side, the hotel itself is a beautiful property with many dining options. We really appreciated the excellent pool side service that Sergio provided.
