Hôtel in a Green Park. Little bungalows with 4 rooms. Nice environment. Large pool. Large room with all équipement needes

Air conditionnons juste aboie the bed. Impossible to use during the night. Some rooms are close to the road. We asked to change because of the noise.

It was exceptionally fantastic experience with heritage. No one can beat their service. The property was maintained spic and span. The staff were utstanding in service, especially the restaurant staff. We really enjoyed the stay at heritage as always. Keep rocking guys

The private pool room was spacious and tranquil. All the staff were exceptional particularly in the Banyan restaurant.

Food below average . Rooms need Maintaince . Beds are spring beds . We stayed in a pool villa and the pool was full of leaves . Ac kept cutting off

The ladies bathroom of the restaurant was not clean and cared for.

The room was excellent, and the private pool was very clean and breakfast was very good

The property is well maintained ,the staff very courteous.the property felt like home.

One thing we found wanting was the food. There could be be better choices in the menu , and though the menu had limited choices,the food wasn’t up to the mark.Barring that we loved the place.

Una volta in camera però ti passa il buon umore e ti viene la depressione. Camera sporca buia e molto umida. Pareti e soffitto che si scrostano. Un odore di umido fortissimo dovevamo accendere gli incensi. Il bagno si allaga ad ogni doccia e lo scarico del lavandino era intasato. Le tende lerce e non funzionanti. Non ci siamo trovati bene e di certo non lo consiglio la loro unica fortuna è di non avere concorrenza in città purtroppo.

Amazing place - the rooms were truly wonderful: luxurious and super comfortable. Such a peaceful retreat.

Staff helpful and allowed us to check in early and also stay in the hotel grounds until it was time to get our onward train. Treatments were good and priced well. Buffet was fantastic!

My initial request for a car was basically to “get a tuk tuk” which didn’t help initial stress levels. The A La Carte options for Chettinad and Mutton curries were spiced with way too much fennel, sadly.

Our experience at Heritage Madurai was brilliant from start to finish. From the warm welcome to the smooth checkout, everything was handled exceptionally well. The restaurant beautifully reflects Chettiar culture, and the entire stay felt truly memorable. A special mention to Mr. Siddesh, who made excellent food recommendations and went above and beyond with his warm hospitality, making our stay even more enjoyable. Mr. Balaji, the concierge manager, was also extremely helpful and guided us around the property with great care. If you’re looking for a relaxing staycation in Madurai, Heritage Madurai is definitely the place to be.

One of the best experience i have got in this trip when I stayed in this property. Especially the hospitalaliy is too good and staff are very polite and ambience is mind blowing. Mantra is the lady who is very polite responsible and one the best lady I ever seen in this service industry that made customer to visit again.

My stays at Madurai Heritage — past visits and a recent visit I have stayed at Madurai Heritage several times over the years, including a recent visit, and each stay has been delightful. Arrival and welcome From the moment I arrived I noticed a warm welcome. Security at the gate and staff at the reception were vigilant and courteous. Everyone greeted us with a smile and a cheerful “Vanakkam.” The buggy driver and other staff were helpful, and CCTV surveillance made the property feel secure. Ambience and grounds The ambience is serene and well maintained. The garden is beautiful and tidy, with boards displaying botanical names for various trees. Tall trees near the restaurant make a picturesque backdrop and are great for photos. The property has neat, level pathways that are easy to walk, cycling-friendly tracks, and cycles available on the stand ready to use. I liked the rainwater-harvesting unit and the overall eco-friendly touches. Rooms and pools The rooms were tidy and clean. I appreciated the brass lamps and the single-color paintings. The beds were comfortable. A four‑occupancy room with a private pool was fantastic — our whole family could stay together and use the pool without inhibitions. The common pool, reached by stone steps, reminded me of historic temple kohlams; it is well maintained, clean, and peaceful. Seeing the Mayur (peacock) door was a delightful surprise. Village theme and activities The village theme is well executed. It’s a wonderful place for children to play, learn, and observe. The swings, slide, benches, tea shop, pottery learning area, and the bajji kadai are all hits with kids. Play equipment such as darts, carrom, and table tennis are thoughtfully provided. The spacious front areas outside room doors and the sit-out lounge furniture are comfortable. The gym is a useful addition. Dining and staff service The restaurant is well maintained. The buffet offers good variety, and the a la carte service is quick. The restaurant staff are excellent — neat in their uniforms and always smiling. I want to mention a few staff members who stood out: Maries, Joythieeshwaran, Rama, and Monica. They are polite, soft-spoken, and attentive. I have celebrated birthdays at the hotel, and the team treated us as if we were family, arranging cake, candles, flowers, and songs with warmth and enthusiasm. Tradition and atmosphere I appreciated the small, beautiful shrine that honors local deities such as Karuppaiya and Pillayar. The soft sound of the bell added a comforting, traditional touch. Overall impression Overall, Madurai Heritage is very well maintained. The hospitality and seamless teamwork of the staff and management make every stay special. Excellent getaway oasis in the heart of the city. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and lush green that one hardly feels the heat in Madurai in the month of july. The room was clean, comfortable, equipped with water kettle and basic toileteries. The breakfast buffet was varied, with ample choice of western and indian dishes, very tastefully prepared. The staff were kind, helpful, and very hospitable. I would love to return for a longer, leisure stay.

The food was exceptionally fresh, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. You can really tell that they don’t rely on excessive oil, allowing the quality of the ingredients and flavours to shine through. Every dish felt wholesome without compromising on taste. The ambience is equally memorable, calm, serene, and beautifully designed. It’s the kind of place where you naturally slow down, relax, and savour every moment. A special mention to Ms. Mantra, whose service was truly exceptional. Warm, attentive, and effortlessly gracious, she elevated the entire dining experience. I only wish I could kidnap her (purely as a compliment!) and have her train a few waiters in Indiranagar, Bengaluru. Heritage Madurai gets everything right, wonderful food, impeccable hospitality, and a setting that makes you want to linger. We can’t wait to return.

The place was serene and amidst nature. Love how the place is well maintained abd the staff is very helpful. The breakfast was excellent - well balanced and healthy meal! We stayed in sky roof villa and simply couldn’t get enough of the experience! Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

I found the spa ok - it was smelling of the Ayurveda oil… I have seen better Spas and would be nice to elevate the ambience of it.

The service provided by the staff was exceptional everyone was warm, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome. It was an absolute pleasure staying here. The food was also incredible, with every meal being delicious and thoughtfully prepared. A special mention to Mantra, her service was outstanding! My stay at Heritage, Madurai exceeded all expectations. It is a lush, spacious, well-maintained property with stunning architecture. I loved the understated elegance of the architecture and the furniture. The sunken pool was beautiful, the banyan trees awe-inspiring, the food delicious and the staff cordial and efficient. Dharani, Surya and Nagaraj, in particular went out of their way to make the reservation process smooth and my stay comfortable. A heartfelt thank you.

She was warm, welcoming, and ensured that every detail of our meal was taken care of with professionalism. From the moment we were seated, she was prompt in taking our order and knowledgeable about the menu, helping us choose dishes that suited our preferences. The service was smooth and well-timed, without feeling rushed. She consistently checked in to ensure everything was satisfactory and responded quickly to any request. Our room was great - we had a junior suite with a huge bathroom and seating area. Our kids had a double room each which were very nice. The pool was gorgeous and the gym well eqipped. The breakfast was good with huge variety. The Banyan restaurant served good food. We enjoyed the free afternoon tea and pottery.

The staff were less friendly than other places in Ondia that we have been. They were quite mistrusting at times and service at the Banyan was very slow. Despite arriving an hour after check in time, 2 of our rooms were not ready.

The architecture was what brought us there

Run down, not well kept and we got a downgrade in our room without apologies They were sold out and put us in a room of worse category believing we wouldn’t notice. Unacceptable

We were offered an upgrade but chose not to take it so that we were closer to our family in another room. It was a haven from the busy city of Madurai.

Great ambience and staff were exceptional !!

Very nice hotel - a quiet place in a busy city. It's large, expect a conference or a wedding taking place somewhere on the premises. Atmospheric rooms and layout takes you back a hundred years. Friendly and helpful staff - they take care of you. No problem asking for services outside the book. Good food, nice chef, he will ask for your wished, if any. Huge pool, well done. But no shadow, so we moved to under the nearby trees. No problem getting your chairs and drinks there! We had some small remarks about the room (fawlty curtains, no towel rack) and the immediately send someone to check this out.

The property is neat and well maintained. We travelled with our baby and the baby food was good and we had wonderful time. They can improve maintaining the indoor pool conditions as it was not clean enough for us to indulge our baby to play in pool area

Central location very clean and very well maintained . The staff were exeptional . To add I had lost my iphone which was safely kept and returned immediately .. the honesty of the staff who found my phone should be rewarded !!

I had to leave a day earlier owing to a death in the family but was not able to get a refund for the one day unfortunately

We had a wedding event for three days. They all are taking care of likea birth child. The food and service was very excellent.. We surely recommend to this property...
