Staybridge Suites Newcastle by IHG

Clean Nice staff

Nice hotel with great staff. The room was very nice specious and equipped.

The HVAC system was terrible during our stay. The hotelroom stayed 26 degrees, even though it was not hot outside and had our system on cooling mode. The staff did offer an extra ventilator, but this did not cool the room. Also the windows couldn't open, so it was just too hot.

Breakfast was amazing and staff was so nice and helpful.

It took time for the hot water to turn on in the morning for shower.

I like the fact it was a little bit out of the way and there was nothing around because it was very very quiet. The room was very clean and it had a microwave which was handy.

I had to take three points away because the pillows are so uncomfortable I barely slept. It would be good if they had a choice of different pillows to be honest.

Nice apartment style room. Spacious modern and clean

.

Great location and really nice hotel. Well laid out and very good breakfast. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Our room never got service so we had to make our own bed and ask the evening staff for clean towels and tea and coffee refills. The evening staff were very helpful and apologetic and went above and beyond to meet our needs.

Super freundliches Personal. Bekamen ungefragt ein Upgrade. Schönes großes Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung. Gutes Frühstück, auch hier sehr freundlich.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was so comfy.Had everything we needed.

clean, new and modern.

Breakfast choice was good but eggs not freshly cooked

Eggs could be cooked fresh

Location size of rooms excellent breakfast

Currently nothing

The reception staff were incredibly helpful even allowing us to check in early. The room was spotless and the beds very comfy. Was a 5min metro journey into the centre or just under 10mins to walk in. The breakfast was delicious and included in the price which was amazing value even without the breakfast! Far exceeded my expectations. Incredible value for money.

There was nothing i would of changed.

Vriendelijk personeel, mooie kamers, parking, uitgebreid ontbijt

Zentrale Lage und sehr nettes und hilfsbereites personal.

Excellent, comfortable well appointed suite, well thought out, great view of the Glass House!

für Newcastle mit das beste

Newcastle

Great hotel, great location. Lovely and clean good breakfast.

This hotel was absolutely brilliant, big, clean, modern, more of an apartment than a hotel room, living room area, big bed, big bathroom and we even had a kitchen with all mod cons, the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great with a varied choice, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings there is free food and drinks, very close to the quayside 5 minutes walk and about a 15 minute walk to the town centre. A very quiet hotel, which was great for us.

Breakfast adequate , ideal location, especially as could get coffee/ tea endlessly

Nothing really, was what was advertised

Wonderful suite - clean, well-equipped, spacious, comfortable. Delightful staff, incredibly friendly and helpful. All in all, amazing value for money.

The wifi signal was quite poor.

Free coffee and tea all day

The parking is perfect. The little kitchen, an absolute plus!

locatie is goed, ontbijt is prima, eigen parkeer ruimte, receptie medewerker vriendelijk

Ease of booking. Confirmation call the day before, was a really nice touch. Staff at checking in were very friendly, happy and polite. Hotel is well placed. Cleanliness was fantastic!!!. Rooms are just the rite size. Very comfortable and very clean!!. Checking out was met with a smile and friendly chat with desk. Will definitely recommend.

Friendly staffs, very comfortable room and good breakfast.

It was clean..tidy and very quiet for how close to town it was . Breakfast was delicious with good cups of coffee aswell

Nothing we didnt like. Paying for parking as an extra would be my only gripe

Good size room, good decor, clean, friendly staff, good dining facilities.

A bit pricey for overnight parking especially given i only had a motorbike.

Ontbijt, weinig keuze

Nice comfortable upto date facilities and great air confitioning

Nothing

Comfortable room. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff

Breakfast was the same every day

Jason on reception was outstanding. Was given a great room which was very comfortable. Excellent facilities, great shower, real air conditioning that worked. The breakfast surpassed all expectations, free, good coffee all the time. The rest of the staff were lovely especially when I came down too late for breakfast and they very quickly sorted me out a sausage sandwich. I'll definitely be booking again.

Clean and functional

No opening windows in room

The best in the town

This is our second stay here. It is clean and conveniently located close to the university student accommodation. Very friendly check-in staff. Good buffet breakfast.

The car park should be free to guests.

We just love this hotel. Rooms are superb and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding too.

Unfortunately I didn’t find the bed comfortable and kept waking with hip pain. We didn’t find the pillows comfortable either. 1 was so flat and 2 too high.

Very friendly staff absolutely amazing suite and immaculately clean, beds were very comfortable to

Nothing to dislike

Fantastic place, clean, well prepared, with a spacious parking (13gbp/day), friendly staff, lovely breakfast, treats for the kids. We couldn't have wished for a better stay, thank you 🙂

Nothing

Absolutely superb 👌 I was really impressed, we only stayed 1 night for a wedding but I wish we could have stayed longer. The lady on reception was fabulous so happy and helpful, thank you very much 😊

Everything.

Just beautiful spacious clean and modern

The room was big, with nice kitchen and separate bedroom

The AC didn't work in our room. Staff was eager to accomodate us in another room but it was a one-night stay and we were tired to move with the kids. The windows don't open so it was quite hot. The breakfast closes 9:30 and they sweep off all food quite quickly so no sleeping in.

Very good room, spacious, well equipped, clean. Staff helpful - especially at breakfast. Good location. Excellent breakfast

Air con - really not up to the job. We couldn’t get our room cool.

breakfast was self service, but we all enjoyed it. Great selection available. Location was good, only a few minutes walk from the quayside which has lots of bars and restaurants, and just a short taxi ride to the city centre.

Amazing place to stay with all the amenities you could need. The staff are friendly and the rooms very well equipped and comfortable. Have already booked another stay!

Nothing to dislike

Attentive staff, they sent us lost property after having checked out for a week

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are so friendly and helpful

Location ideal. Parking a bonus. Staff so friendly and helpful. Rooms comfy

Cleaning and good environment

We had a fantastic stay at Staybridge Suites Newcastle. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, with easy access to the city centre, restaurants, and local attractions. The suite was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Newcastle.

More towels in the room.

The breakfast was poor and tasteless.

5 minute walk to the Quay side, great choice for breakfast, short walk to city centre

Our studio apartment was lovely, clean and comfortable and had all we needed for a relaxing week away. Close to the Quayside where there were numerous restaurants and places to eat.

Almost everything was great, they even have a pantry for quick groceries, but the air conditioners are awful. Barely cools the rooms, it’s very hot even on the coolest setting 🫠

The staff were very attentive as soon as we entered the hotel.

Great location, very well considered amenities and staff very helpful . Good to have until 12 to check out

Quite expensive, especially when you have to pay on top for the dog, car parking.

Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful

Stayed here previously when in the area and returned for another great stay. Staff couldn’t do more for you. Really welcoming. Facilities excellent. Everything you need for a lovely stay is included.

Very clean & gorgeous room. Facilities were great & breakfast was really tasty

N/A

Cleanliness and really nice staff, free drinks and nibbles on our second night. Comfortable bed and breakfast food was great.

staff were friendly, car was parked securely, room was clean and perfectly adequate, and the breakfast was good. Plus, the hotel was close to the city centre and easy to find. I hope to return!

Only 1 small thing: breakfast was whisked away at exactly 9.30 am. It would have been much better to have left the food for a short while before removing it.

Clean hotel plenty of room to be comfortable. Very pleasant and helpful staff. A good choice for breakfast.

Having yo climb steps or go up hills to get to the hotel from the Quay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, everything that we needed was there. It was very clean and fresh. Breakfast was included in the rate. There was a full buffet and cooked breakfast. Someone even cooked vegan sausages just for me. Excellent value for money

Apartment was fantastic, very clean and the staff were lovely.

General area, not necessarily an issue for the hotel. Shower curtain slightly cheap and beds quite firm.

It was an excellent location for what we wanted. The suite we had was on the sixth floor and had a fabulous view of the Tyne. The staff were extremely helpful, especially the lady at check-in when we arrived.

Nothing

So clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was spotless, modern and had everything we could possibly need.

Nothing

Very welcoming and friendly staff, who were all lovely with our 4 year old and even gave her a little welcome pack. Easy communication with the hotel in advance, who quickly and helpfully answered a few of our questions. Our suite was a good size for 3 of us, with a fold-out sofa bed. Decent kitchen facilities in the room and hot drinks available downstairs. Plenty of food for breakfast and a good range of options. Electric car chargers available in the car park and we were able to charge overnight.

Absolutely everything! Specialy staff, OMG! Top team with mega fantastic attitude for their work!

Bra läge och rum. Trevlig personal.

Har inga klagomål

Friendly and helpful staff Cleanliness Good quality amenities and design of rooms. Would recommend and stay again

Can't fault

Everything here! Friendly staff, tasty coffee, nice hospitality, facilities and environment

Nothing

Breakfast was lovely and they had a great choice of options available

We could have done with some more towels but to be fair we didn't bother asking for them.

Breakfast was lovely, great variety

Great stay! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The location was excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I would happily stay here again.

V friendly and helpful staff

Charging socket next to the bed?

Très belle chambre, lits confortables. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Well presented property. Everything you need is in your apartment. Good location & staff very pleasant

Location was great for the university

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like

Alles was prima!

Great location Staff SUPER helpful & friendly

Walkability was affected by construction

Beds very uncomfortable, kitchen wasn’t clean, bad sound proofing.

Absolutely a home from home. We had a suite and it was extremely comfortable. Not only that, it was the cleanest place we have ever stayed in. Our bed was comfortable and the apartment was silent-really good soundproofing. At the beginning of the week they hold a social, with free beer, wine, cheese and nibbles from 6.30-7.30 which can easily double for a light supper. The breakfast is a buffet, with a good mix of hot and cold options. There is also a 24hr shop, with easy things to cook (pizzas, waffles etc) and snacks and drinks. The staff were truly all lovely, special mentions to Natalie, Antonia and Yenny! We loved it and will be back soon. Great job!!!

A great place to stay and get about

This was my third stay at this hotel, and once again I had a wonderful experience. The reception staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling. The breakfast staff are equally friendly, helpful, and professional. Every member of the team is fantastic and contributes to a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is spotless and very well kept. I would not hesitate to return again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and a comfortable stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was such a nice place to stay. Staff were lovely. Accommodation was better than we expected even after reading the reviews prior to our arrival. Probably as nice a place as any we've stayed in when visiting Newcastle.

Genuinely, there was nothing to dislike. Staff and accommodation were great. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff, quiet location but only a short walk to city centre, railway station, quayside etc. Room well laid out & very well equipped for self catering. Good shower.

Breakfast was a bit hit & miss. Totally different selection of food each day, not welcomed when we appeared for breakfast so didn't really know what was going on. That said, the food itself was very good & plentiful
