サービス行き届いていて快適に過ごせました。 食事も大満足です。

夕食素晴らしかった。森本さんの感じ良かった。 しかしお酒を飲む場合はも少しゆったりさせて欲しい。 流れ作業的に急かされてよくなかった。　 岩の露天は最高。

部屋の置物の裏は埃が残っていた。　　折角の温泉を家族に見せたいが写真撮影が禁じられていたのは心残り。 折角の琵琶湖をゆっくりと回りたかったが450mしかないのが残念。旅館の周りの散歩コースなどがあればもっと楽しめたと思う。

お風呂が男性女性とも2ヶ所あって、温泉が楽しめました！夕食の際のスタッフさんがとても優しくて丁寧に料理の説明や案内をしてくれて嬉しかったですし、料理も美味しかったです！ 催し物も準備してくれていて、とても楽しめました！

エアコンがあまり効いている感じがしなかったです。 Wi-Fiの環境もあまり良くなかった気がすします。

温泉がとても気持ちが良かったです。 施設は新しくないものの、清潔で綺麗にリノベーションされています。 食事も食べきれないほどのボリュームがあり、クオリティも高かった。 温泉は何ヶ所かあり、タオルが脱衣所にあったため、気軽に何度も利用できて嬉しかったです。

部屋に露天風呂がついていて、食事もお部屋食で用意してもらえて、他のお客さんと顔を合わさず、ゆっくり食事が楽しめてよかったです。

部屋のソファーが硬めで、長時間座っているとお尻が痛くなってきました。それがちょっと残念。

夕食は大変美味しかったのですが、もう少し量と数を減らしていただく方がフードロスにならないかと思います。

식사 및 탕이 좋았습니다. 저녁 식사도 배부르게나왔고 조식또한 다양하고 좋았습니다. 탕은 1박 시 총 4개의 탕을 사용가능하며, 하루에 2개씩 남녀 구별됩니다. 어느 날이든 하늘이 보이거나, 비와코 호수가 보이는 풍경인건 참 좋았습니다.

한국어 지원이 된다 했는데 막상 가보니 안된 점. 심지어 영어 또한 안되어서 소통이 힘들었습니다. 분명 일어가 힘들어서 힘들거 같다했는데 한국어 지원이 된다하는 답장도 받았으나, 안된점이 아쉽습니다. 처음부터 오직 일어만 가능하다 했으면 당황하지 않았을텐데요.

I really enjoyed the hospitality and the facilities! I arrived after doing the biwaichi and they even helped me arrange a place to keep my bicycle and luggage in the hotel. Totally recommended!

Room is great Onsen is great, especially the one at 11floor Great view and facilities I enjoyed both dinner n bfast. The staff is very nice. Chinese version of menu is prepared. We would definitely visit again

酒店员工很有礼貌，服务贴心。接待的小姐姐英文中等，但可以沟通。check-in 时会预先询问用餐时间，外出时间安排，房间是否需要打扫等等，很老派且周到的服务。酒店虽然时日已久，但是维护得很好。五楼的风吕很赞。入住的旅客基本为日本本地人，整家酒店特别安静。酒店对面的烤肉非常好吃，夏天的韩式冷面很爽口。走多几步就有便利店，还是挺方便的。晚上有风有星星，是个很悠闲的地方。每天坐shuttle 时酒店送的小糖果很好吃，可惜是离开酒店的路上才打开品尝。下次去一定会买

如果泡澡后有冰棍吃就更好了，哈哈哈。雄琴温泉可以避开游人如鲫的旅游打卡景点。非常推荐

２ヵ所の露天風呂に入りましたが、とても良かったです。特に５階が素晴らしかったです。 夕食がとても美味しかったです。炊き込みご飯が好きですから、とても良かったです。 部屋も良かったのですが、残念ながら低層階（３階）でしたから、琵琶湖が望めませんでした。琵琶湖が望めるテラスのような場所があればと、少し残念でした。

夕食・朝食ともに大満足でした。お風呂は温泉の泉質が素晴らしく、館内施設も申し分ありません。京都へのアクセスの良さを理由に利用しましたが、京都観光と本格的な温泉を両方楽しめる宿だと思います。京都旅行は年に2〜3回、2泊以上することが多いので、今後はそのうちの一泊を湯元舘にしたいと思います。

Incredible service and welcome from staff, from the shuttle pickup at the Ogotoonsen station to our departure. The kaiseki dinner was out of this world! And the hot springs provided perfect relaxation at this moment in our trip. You should definitely enjoy getting pampered here!

L’hotel è molto bello e pulito, la cena è fantastica e durante la cena vengono in camera a prepararti i futon per la notte. Abbiamo anche prenotato l’onsen privato visto che siamo una famiglia di quattro e volevamo stare tutti insieme. Io e mio marito abbiamo anche fatto il massaggio shiatsu che era veramente top! La navetta dalla stazione è la ciliegina sulla torta

È obbligatorio non indossare il costume nell’onsen, ma in Giappone funziona così

The staff were excellent. Our waitress at dinner was extremely kind, and the staff worked hard to provide a service in English. I unfortunately did not catch the specific name of our waitress but she explained each course in detail and was extremely attentive throughout. There was an open bar available for guests with the premium rooms. This included fancy juice, pop and ice creams. A great way to cool off after an onsen visit. We were able to select our own choice of yukata. With enough for all 5 members of our party to have unique patterns. The kaiseki dinner was great, it may contain some dishes that are a challenge on the western palate but it's part of the experience! We were happy with that for dinner but were unsure for breakfast so asked to swap to the buffet breakfast online before we attended and they were more than happy to make this adjustment. The baths are amazing. Particularly the rockery garden bath was beautiful. I highly recommend facing the mild embarrassment of going stark in public for it.

Schon der kostenlose Shuttle und die Ankunft im Hotel waren super - wir wurden sehr gründlich in Empfang genommen und uns wurde unser schönes und großes Zimmer gezeigt. Die Onsen waren spektakulär, es gibt vier verschiedene, die alle besondere Eigenschaften haben. Abendessen und Frühstück waren sehr viel und hochwertig, besonders der Service beim Abendessen ist positiv hervorzuheben!

Transfer-Service vom/zum Bahnhof vom Hotel kostenlos. Man muss das Hotel nur über das Handy anrufen, das an einer Schnur bei einem Schild im Bahnhof hängt. Leicht zu übersehen! Das Zimmer mit dem privaten Onsen auf der Terrasse war außergewöhnlich und das absolute Highlight unseres Urlaubs. Frühstück findet in einem großen Saal statt. Auswahl ist riesig und live-Köche sind vor Ort. Abendessen hatten wir bei unserem Zimmer dabei und nahmen dieses in einem Kaiseki-Restaurant mit abgetrennten eigenen Zimmern ein. Man hat einen persönlichen Kellner, der einem alle Gerichte des Menüs bringt. Unsere 2 Kellner für die 2 Abendessen waren beide super nett und freundlich. Otsu ist ein paar Straßenbahn Stationen entfernt, aber der Urlaub hier ist vor allem etwas für Leute, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen.

Das mit dem Handy am Bahnhof hätte man evtl. Vorab mit einem Foto besser informieren können. In der Info Mail stand nur „use the phone at the exit of the train station to call the hotel“. Wir sind dann vor dem Gebäude auf die Suche gegangen und erst die Taxifahrer, die uns zugeschaut haben, haben uns dann gezeigt, dass dieses Handy an der Schnur IM Bahnhof hängt. Kamen uns da etwas doof vor . :) Das Hotel hat auch noch mehrere wunderschöne Onsen Becken auf verschiedenen Etagen. Da diese aber strikt nach Geschlecht getrennt sind, war das für uns als Paar nicht interessant. Es ist schade, dass sie keine Uhrzeit haben, wo man auch mal als Paar gemeinsam die Onsen betreten darf.

食事が量と質共に良く、特にお米は土鍋ご飯でとても良かった。

部屋のエアコンとベッドの位置関係が良くない事と、5階の風呂の植栽にアリが沢山いて、岩風呂の岩の上を列をなして進んでいて少し気持ち悪く感じた。

Personnel ne comprends rien à l'anglais Emplacement médiocre Repas servi au restaurant: service accéléré. On nous a servi 8 plats en 30min. Inacceptable même si la personne qui nous a servi a mis beaucoup de bonne volonté pour nous expliquer ce que nous mangions et comment s'y prendre Cet établissement n'a rien d'un Ryokan. C'est un énorme complexe hôtelier situé dans une zone vraiment moche a proximité d'un lac dont on ne peut même pas suivre le rivage à pied. Ressemble à une zone industrielle. Zone moche dans laquelle il vaut mieux éviter de séjourner. Zone industrielle. Cet établissement n'a rien d'un Ryokan traditionnel

La taille de la chambre

Le repas inclus vraiment trop rapide, pas le temps de finir le plat que le suivant était déjà sur la table. Personnel sympa mais Anglais approximatif. Annonce trompeuse, Ryokan sur 5 étages!!! Rien de traditionnel, c’est un hôtel aménagé avec des chambres type Ryokan.

The staff were all fantastic and the room was unbelievable! Quite expensive but well worth the money.

到着時、駐車場の車まで迎えに来て頂き荷物を運んでくれた スタッフが日本人で、みささん若かった（外国人が悪いわけではない） 昭和4年創業なのにリニューアルを繰り返しているので古さを感じさせない 温泉の質が良く、湯に浸かった後の肌を触るとニュルっと良い感じ 11階の露天風呂は琵琶湖が一望でき爽快感がたまりません 温泉の温度が私好みでいつまでも浸かっていたかった 夕食も日本人スタッフが丁寧に説明をしてくれて美味しかった 露天風呂までに通る外廊下もチリ一つ無く清潔感は最上級 部屋もとても広く、隅々まで清掃されていて気持ちが良い

I loved the whole structure and all the small details of the decorations...the room was comfortable with great amenities and a great dinner was served. But the real highlights were the public bath, I've tried them all and I loved them

Beautiful decorations. Great food. Baths are in 3 locations each with sauna. On the 8th and 11th floor baths you can see the lake. 5th floor bath was next to greenery.

Location. There are buildings all around it. Buildings across the street block views of Lake Biwa. I was on the 4th floor and only had a slice of the scenery because of a building in front of my window. There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity or near the train station. Walking along a busy street didn’t appeal to me either especially since it rained all day .I was planning a trip (the cable car station stop is available by shuttle )up to the top of Hiei mountain but it rained so had to change plans to a farther city.

夕食も朝食も大変おいしくいただきました。 5階の露天「湯幻逍遥」が特に素晴らしかったです。

カーナビで示された通りバイパスを下坂本ICで下りて向かったのですが、ナビが示した経路が遠回りだったので、いったん駐車場を通り過ぎてしまい、戸惑いました。 あとで公式HPのアクセス地図も見ましたが、二つある地図のどちらも、建物とPの位置の関係性が分かりにくいと思います。 大きく「湯元館」と書かれた高い建物以外にもいくつも建物があるので、全体がつながっていて、フロントが共通であることを、どこかにわかりやすく示してもらえればよいと思いました。 フロントは駐車場から素直に最寄りの入り口から入ればよいのですが、すぐ手前に、「はなれ葭蘆葦」のお客様専用の駐車場所があったりしたので、もしかして本館や西館は別の入り口があるのかもと思ってしまいました。 しかし、駐車場にスタッフがいらっしゃって、丁寧にご案内いただいたので、長くは迷いませんでした。重い荷物も運んでくださって助かりました。ありがとうございました。

Elegimos este hotel para quedarnos cerca de Kyoto porque tiene onsen, y fue un gran acierto. Nos gustó todo: las instalaciones son perfectas, el personal es muy amable y atento, el desayuno es muy variado e inmejorable y la cena, que está incluida en el precio de la habitación, es deliciosa. Volveremos sin duda.

El alojamiento está a 20 minutos en tren de Kyoto, pero merece la pena hospedarse allí.

We stayed here for one night to decompress and rest mid our trip. The staff was super polite and going above and beyond. The highlight was definitely the food (both dinner and breakfast were delicious) and the private onsen in the room overlooking the lake. Our room was extra spacious. The yukatas provided were fun and a nice touch. We also used the shuttle service to the train station which was extremely convenient.

Overall, our stay at Yumotokan was enjoyable, and the hotel delivers a strong traditional Japanese ryokan experience. While the property is somewhat dated, it is well maintained and still offers a comfortable and authentic atmosphere. The room was spacious, and the in-room bath was outstanding — definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The special kaiseki dinner was beautifully presented and delicious, with the Omi beef being exceptionally tender and memorable. The hotel also arranged small activities such as bingo, which added a nice touch to the experience. The service during check-in and throughout the stay was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcomed. However, the experience during check-out was extremely disappointing and inconsistent with the standard expected from a hotel of this level. There was no assistance provided with luggage, and we had to carry everything ourselves. When we approached the staff for help, we were ignored and they chose to attend to other matters instead. For a hotel at this price point, such a drop in service is unacceptable. It felt as though once we checked out, we were no longer valued as guests. This significantly affected our overall impression of what was otherwise a good stay.

大きな施設です。 館内には池が施されロビーからエレベーターまでの順路はちょっとした美術館のようで落ち着いています。 使わせて頂いた部屋は、露天風呂付きのゆったりした贅沢ツインです。 部屋の入り口が1畳程の広さがあり大きなスーツケースの出し入れがスムーズでした。 板長さんのこだわりある和食は、とても優しいお味で旅の疲れが癒されました。 美しい和食器も楽しめました。 朝食のバイキングではその場で焼いてくださるオムレツを始め、温かい物は温かく冷たい物はちゃんと冷たく提供されスタッフさんの隅々まで行き渡る目配り気配りに感謝でした。 杖を使っていた母にワゴンを貸してくださったことには初めて受けたサービスだったので感動しました。

あえて言うならば部屋のドアが重たく感じたかなぁと。 開閉の際、高齢者には負荷があるようでした。

Highly recommend the Yumotokan onsen hotel. Lived in Japan prior for many years and this trip visited my wife’s family again. The facilities, cleanliness, rooms, onsen’s, amazing and awesome staff, restaurant, gift shop, and overall Japanese traditional experience makes you feel at peace, rejuvenated, relaxed and rested. The Kaiseki traditional Japanese multi-course fine dining experience for three days at the hotel was amazing full of mouthwatering flavors. A must visit place, definitely recommend in all areas.
