Anacapri

We travelled with friends for a short break to celebrate our anniversaries. We found the hotel to be in a great location (with parking ) for the beach and a short walk into town which offers many lovely shops and restaurants (a list of which is supplied on booking and some give a reduction off the bill on advising you are staying at the Anacapri). The rooms were comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were freshly cooked to order and excellent. Beautiful fresh natural yogurt etc...I just missed somed fresh mixed berries to accompany it. We very much appreciated the bottle of prosecco given to us for our anniversary celebrations, it was a super surprise. We will definitely return in the future..thanks Anacapri.

Unser Zimmer war recht klein. Es gab keinen Kühlschrank. Es lag ohne schöne Aussicht nach hinten zum Hof. Das Doppelbett war klein und die Matratze durchgelegen. Insgesamt wirkte das Zimmer abgewohnt.

Breakfast was great. Good variety of food. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Location was great, right by the sea.

Only thing that was abit disappointing was there was only 1 restaurant nearby which was pricey but plenty of options if you walked into Town.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Anacapri Hotel in Falmouth! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Our room had a stunning sea view, and the bed was big, beautiful and incredibly comfortable — we had such a good night sleep! The staff were exceptionally friendly, kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was fantastic — delicious, generous and with plenty of choice. We really enjoyed starting our mornings there. The location is simply amazing, with beautiful views and everything we needed nearby. We also really appreciated the large car park, which made things so much easier. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend the Anacapri Hotel to anyone visiting Falmouth. We would absolutely love to come back! ❤️🌊✨

We had a very long journey from Ireland and we got confused filling out the breakfast sheets at check in. This caused some confusion when breakfast was being served. Just a suggestion but maybe redesign the form and have one per day.

Beautiful spacious spotlessly clean relaxing guest house, easy parking onsite , fabulous view, great service , there is a lovely very well stocked bar area if wanting to just relax and enjoy watching the sea , breakfast was delicious cooked to order, plenty of outdoor or indoor spaces to eat takeout if so inclined, chilled water available and plenty coffee etc . a good 15 mins leisurely pace walk into town some slight uphill or 30 minutes via waters edge. They have thought of everything you could need for a perfect stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations and discounts for local fish and chips! Great room, comfy bed, fabulous location & breakfast was second to none :) very generous & plenty of choice! Will be visiting again very soon.

El baño un poco desfasado y, en especial, poca ventilación de la habitación. Solo se podía abrir un poco una de las ventanas. No fue un gran problema porque no hacía mucho calor y bastó tener la ventana abierta durante toda la noche para tener una temperatura adecuada. En días de calor puede ser muy difícil conciliar el sueño.

Amazing location with incredible sea views. Beautiful room with again,an amazing view. Receptionist was so lovely, she went above and beyond for us and nothing was too much for her. The location smelt lovely throughout and was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. Anacapri was the best place we stayed at on our road trip around Cornwall.

The location is perfect

For a 5 star rated hotel the upkeep of the rooms were more like a 2 star. Black mouldy patches around the bath and tiles. Paint work and wood work was all old scruffy and in need of light decoration.

The location of this hotel is just exceptional. It’s directly opposite the most beautiful beach and bay, the views are just breathtaking. We also took a short walk around to the next bay (Swanpool Beach) which was absolutely stunning, where we stopped for drinks. It’s also only a short walk into Falmouth town centre, where there are some really lovely restaurants and quirky bars. It was a really friendly and lively atmosphere everywhere that we visited. We visited lots of different towns and bays across Cornwall during our stay. Falmouth is a great base for this. We stayed in a standard double room. The room itself was very small, as was the bathroom. It was very dated. Chipped paintwork, stained walls and carpets, unclean skirting boards, poorly hung curtains which were moldy. The bathroom was also moldy and unclean. The room smelt damp. It was extremely hot, there was a fan but this was broken and extremely noisy. Luckily we had a door leading outside, which we opened for ventilation. However, we had just booked a short time before our stay, during August and the price was inclusive of breakfast. We decided not to complain, and we were out until late every evening.. so used the room as a base only. Breakfast was average, with choice. Staff were very friendly and attentive. For us, it was the location we will remember. We will definitely return to Falmouth next year. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this hotel due to the standard of the room.

Breakfast was very good. Cooked to order and hot. A good range of cereals and juices together with yoghurt jam and marmalade. Good tea and coffee.

The fact that we had a room on the second floor and there was no lift. Very difficult climb with the cases.

Great location right on Gilly beach

The bedrooms were somewhat tired and one was extremely small.

Nothing, it is advertised as luxury, and is far from it.i was told it’s not a hotel although they use hotel in their publicity. We only stayed one night, the room was awful, the bed very uncomfortable. Breakfast was food kept warm, mushroom’s inedible, bacon unable to cut. Obviously shopped in Lidl as ketchup their own brand. Misrepresentation as a luxury hotel, it’s a guesthouse, very dated. Its only redeeming feature is its location.

Shocking hotel, can’t believe the reviews on here, are they actually genuine? Our room was small, dingy bathroom, black mould in and around shower, dirty toilet fittings. Chipped paint work throughout , nothing to describe it as AA 5 Star. Breakfast was unexciting, no extras. Tea and coffee supplied in reception for you to take up to your room with basic biscuits. Never stayed anywhere this poor before so won’t be booking with Booking.com again!

Stayed with my partner for my birthday at the end of July. Such a gorgeous hotel with stunning views & warm and friendly staff. I loved the bar area, overlooking the beach and a huge stretch of Falmouth bay, perfect for reading my book or having a coffee after breakfast- breakfast was perfect, so accommodating and lots of choice. The room was perfect, bed do comfy and lovely shower. Our room was spotless & had a little balcony with another perfect view.

Love staying here. Such a lovely hotel and right by the beach, lovely sea views and the staff seem really happy which makes your stay feel extra special

This hotel is described as AA 5-Star by Booking.com but it is anything but! The bathroom was disgusting, mould around the shower cubicle, dirty toilet fittings, a trickle from the shower head. The paint work was all chipped, carpets old, everything was very basic including toiletries, tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was equally unexciting, all rushed, few choices. We have used Booking.com on many occasions and have never had an experience like this before so we will not be using them in the future. Whilst there are many reviews stating how good the hotel was I am inclined to think these are fake!

Apart from the excellent location, the staff were very friendly. There were sufficient parking spaces.

For a place which is rated five-star, the bedroom and bathroom were small, and the quality of room facilities only adequate. As with many UK hotels and guest houses, the bathroom plumbing was not of a good standard. Air conditioning and room safe were not available. There is no lift.

The staff were superstars and went above and beyond for us during our stay. The room was delightful with a Seaview and balcony. We could not have asked for a better stay.

An exceptional room with an amazing view. Our third stay and again everything was wonderful. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of options, all freshly prepped and cooked. The staff are warm and friendly and the hotel is just superb.

Incredibly close to the beach and a very short walk to the bus and train! Room was clean and very comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were so incredbly friendly and kind!

Only thing to note is that you need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Aside from that, everything was great!

The view was outstanding. The staff were very pleasant and engaging Breakfast was just what needed to start the day. The room was clean and tidy with everything one should need I liked the enviromental option regarding towels.

Besutiful location ,beautiful looking bedroom however bed uncomfortable for me.Shower /bath not easy to operate.The soap & shampoo was the same not suitable for hair washing. Though. Breakfast was not tasty & lacking in ingrediants booked night b4 & had to say what time wanted breakfast.

Our experience was not 5 star. The best things about the hotel are the location and staff. Close to the beach, beautiful views, 15/20 minutes walk to train station and town. Very disappointed with our ground floor room. Small, poorly maintained, bathroom needed a good clean, black mold in shower. Dirty carpet, poorly fitting curtains. Uncomfortable bed, especially the pillows. Pre-ordered breakfast was ok but not 5 star. There is no evening meal option but there is a small bar.

The staff was delightful. They were always more than welcoming and helped us in any way they could. The room was in perfect condition, with any accommation we needed, statisfied. Truly one of the most relaxing stays, with the rooms located right on the beach. It's the perfect getaway, and the best way to relax, with a staff always eager to help.

Hotel was a little tired. Bathroom looked as though it was fitted wardrobe originally and had black mould in shower. Carpet and chairs looked unclean. Breakfast had to be booked night before?

The breakfast was fine and the shower in the bathroom were the best features.

The bed was incredibly soft and the pillows were too soft.The curtains were inadequate and the light shone through.There was a security light on the outside wall that shone through. The bedroom was close to the kitchen and every morning you could hear a noise from 6am perhaps a fridge but it certainly disturbed my sleep.I feel someone needs to look at the room from a customers prospective.

The staff were really friendly and polite. The views from the hotel terrace were exceptional as was the location. The area that let it down was the cleanliness of our room. The carpet had stains on and the doors and skirting boards were thick with dust. Inside the shower was clean but the outside surrounds were filthy. Despite the room being small we had plenty of storage and the bedding was clean.

Great views even though we hadn’t paid for one of the sea view rooms, great size, great facilities and great value for money, we couldn’t have been in a better position.
