Staff were super welcoming, I had a beautiful single room! The spa was a treat and relaxing on the roof terrace was just delightful!!! The choccie was an extra bonus!!!

Wonderful location near the train station and town. Amazing view of Eiger for breakfast and if you get the Eiger facing view. Note- the Eiger facing rooms also face the main street, train station & bus area so it is busy! Great breakfast with a wide variety to choose from. Their restaurant is wonderful and highly recommend making a dinner reservation on the patio. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit on the small size and didn't include many amenities for a 4 star hotel. The spa is a nice addition with dry sauna, wet sauna, infared, steam room. During our visit it was hot and there was no AC in the hotel (which is not unusual). We had to keep our balcony door open which made it very noisy. We would have loved a fan. We mentioned that at check out and they said they offer them by request. Wish we would have known.

The property’s staff was consistently friendly and attentive, with the dining staff standing out in particular.

The hotel is situated on a very busy street directly across from a bus station and next to the train station. Even with an upgraded room, the noise level was extremely high, and we weren’t able to sleep with the door or windows open for fresh air. We visited in September, and the heat combined with intense sun exposure made the room uncomfortable until sunset. The fan provided offered minimal relief because the air was so still. Additionally, the outdoor dining area was located just one floor below our balcony, making mealtimes loud enough that we rarely used the balcony. For us, the price of the upgraded room—with its view of the Eiger—was not worth it. It cost nearly double the standard room, and overall the experience would have been better in a regular room

The manager was so kind to stay later than check in time for us! We really appreciate the service

The staff were warm, helpful and friendly, especially Ailen at the front desk — she was exceptional. The rooms were very clean, beds so comfortable, views from superior room of Eiger and hillside were spectacular and we loved the rooftop deck

The noise from the main road interfered with sleep. We needed to open the door and window to the outside to cool off the room so it was noisy.

エアコンが無かったので今年の夏の暑さは厳しかったです。 扇風機を借りる事が出来たみたいですが、チェックアウト時にフロントに扇風機を返している人を見て知りました。チェックイン時に知らせていただけたら良かったです。

駅から至近距離のため、すぐに見つけることができ、まったく迷うことはありませんでした。駅に近いおかげで滞在中は行動しやすかったです。花がいっぱいのスイスらしい外観ですが、部屋の中は5つ星の街中の高級ホテル並みにアップデートされているのが非常に良かったです。アイガーを間近に感じながらの朝食も素晴らしかったです。

エアコンがないのが残念でした。予想よりも気温が高かったため、疲れが残り、エアコンがあればもっと素晴らしかったです。昼間に動き回って、一旦ホテルに戻った時に、エアコンが聞いた部屋だったらもっと最高でした。ただ、朝方は涼しくなっていました。

駅から近くて便利、窓からの山の眺めも最高でした。

クーラーの無い部屋で開けた窓から、夜行われていた祭りの喧騒が伝わってきて、旅行を楽しめました。

The spa was lovely, the location was great and the views were stunning. The roof terrace with the views of the Eiger was nice to sit out on in the evening.

We were there during a summer heatwave and the lack of fans or air conditioning made the bedroom a little too warm.

No air-conditioning so request a fan. Problem for me who is extremely sensitive to cigarette- cigar smoke. Windows & doors to restaurant are left open with smokers at outside tables filling the restaurant, lobby, & laundry area smelling really strong of smoke. My nose & lips were burning & I had a headache for hours. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel, unfortunately smelling the smoke for over an hour while doing laundry ruined our experience. Wish the situation would change, but speaking to a staff member at the front desk didn't leave me hopeful for a return visit. Love Grindelwald, so unfortunate for me and others who love the people who smoke but hate being sick when on vacation 😒. Hope this is helpful.

Le personnel et super gentil, souriant vraiment au top du top. Chambre bien entretenues et spacieuse. Balcon très apprécié. J’ai été surclassée et ça après six jours de marche dans la via alpina à dormir sous tente, je n’avais pas de mots! Encore Merciiiiii. Petit déjeuner incroyable

Peu être juste un petit peu bruyant sur le balcon car l’hôtel est vraiment à côté de la gare. Mais c’est un détail.

I felt that one of the older male staff members at the breakfast restaurant was rather unfriendly.

The property was close to Grindelwald Station (2 minute walk), close to the shops, and bus station (opposite). The views from the balcony were stunning and it was incredible waking up to the Eiger views. The Grindelwald first station is around a 10 minute walk. Location-wise if you are only there for a few days or using it as a base to explore the Jungfrau region you cannot go wrong at all. Would highly recommend it. The staff especially the reception staff and most of the restaurant staff were really nice and helpful and went out of their way. On our last day after we’d checked out we went exploring and only had a couple of minutes to get our next train and they came with our suitcases to the station for which we were extremely grateful. Breakfast is great and includes a variety to suit everyone. They do serve lunch and dinner but we didn’t have any as we were out or already sorted. There are some lovely spa facilities with sauna, steam room, foot spa, loungers and a rooftop relaxation area. They have games room and the restaurant floor also has a relaxation/communal area as well. There is a press and laundry room but having read the reviews (for this and other hotels) I brought my own iron. The room we stayed in (superior with Eiger view) was lovely and slightly more modern than the non view rooms. If you are staying for longer and wanted to be deeper into Grindelwald than there are plenty of Chalets further in. However this was absolutely fantastic for us. We stayed 3 nights and explored the region. I’d stay here again.

The only downside is the rooms do not have AC or an iron. We stayed in July 2026 and it was HOT. However I did find that most hotels in Switzerland are the same. They did provide a nice Dyson fan and there is a press room which again is very typical for Switzerland. I wouldn’t say this isn’t a complete negative but just something to be aware of.

Наш номер выходил на главную улицу и на стоянку автобусов -было такое чувство что мы спим не в номере а где-то на дороге, по которой постоянно ездят машины и автобусы. Причём автобусы которые начинают уже ездить в 5 утра. То есть если вы думаете отдохнуть и поспать, то у вас не получится, так как этот шум который стоит у вас в комнате с раннего утра до позднего позднего вечера.И все это сопровождается ужасной жарой в номере . Вообщем даже вид на горы не исправил положения . Причём на фотографиях вид на горы абсолютно невозможно понять что сначала у вас видно дорогу и автобусную стоянку. Завтрак тоже оставлял желать лучшего.

La atención recibida por José y Aiden que en todo momento nos resolvieron dudas y nos orientaron sobre todas las actividades posibles. También todo el personal del restaurante y cafetería fue muy atento y amable. Nos dieron una muy buena habitación, muy amplia y en una zona nada ruidosa del hotel. Una maravilla. Muy recomendable este hotel.

Situación justo en la calle principal lo que le saca algo de silencio y la tranquilidad de la montaña.

Eine perfekte Lage direkt am Bahnhof und beim Busterminal im Zentrum von Grindelwald. Eine schöne Terrasse und sehr freundliches Personal.

Standardzimmer mit gehobenem Preis, aber das ist wohl normal für Grindelwald. Das Badezimmer war neu renoviert, der Rest eher altmodischer Landhausstil. Es gab kein Deckenlicht, daher abends ziemlich dunkel.

Hôtel central et pratique, personnel très sympathique, bon petit-déjeuner buffet. Le spa est sympa.

L'insonorisation des chambres, le matin j'ai été réveillée par les gens passant dans le couloir.

Excellent location. Close to the train station so no huge trek down/up the village. Also close to the supermarket, children’s playground and a 10min walk to the First Cable Car station. Room had a priceless view of the mountain especially at sunset. Breakfast team were so lovely.

Wellness facilities were a little tricky to find, had to go up and down various hidden staircases to find it. Though the facility itself was clean and pleasant.

Ubicación excelente cerca del tren , personal Zuli y una señorita Argentina fueron muy amables ambos me atendieron en castellano me indicaron todo excelente y con una paciencia exquisita les doy un 10 para ambos¡¡ además me dieron una habitación mas amplia de la que había reservado y con un balcón les agradezco por haber hecho mi estancia placentera, Zuli me entrego la tarjeta de visitante y se dio tiempo de indicarme las actividades. seguro volveré, gracias

En el desayuno no me gusto que estuvieran retirando las cosas sin haber terminado desayunar y haberme retirado , están pasando cada momento para retirarte las cosas que vas terminando es un poco molesto , no se puede desayunar tranquilamente. buffet del desayuno excelente, mi comentario del personal del desayuno se pueda mejorar en ese punto, por lo demás recomendable y seguro volveré a este hotel.

Location is very good.

Some guests did Vlog in breakfast area. Hope hotel can prohibit this action because most of guests are hurry up for breakfast and then can go to the mountain. They can do Vlog in the cornor but not in the line for breakfast.

Exceptional stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well located, but the service is what truly stood out. A huge thanks to Petr and Suly for being so incredibly welcoming and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. Their hospitality is unmatched!

Absolutely everything the location was perfect, views immaculate and the staff are INCREDIBLE. Will definitely be returning every year!

Non, tout était vraiment très bien

L'emplacement de l'hotel est parfait, juste à côté de la gare, où des trains nous amènent directement sur des pistes de ski. L'hôtel offre aussi un local chuffant pour des chaussures et des skis, super! Les personels accueillants et serviables. Le SPA après ski est aussi top.

Alles Bestens. Personal, Empfang sehr freundlich. Frühstück tiptop. Lage zum Bahnhof perfekt. Skiraum etc. sehr gut und geräumig.

Im Gesamtpreis dürfte das Parking günstiger ausfallen.

Niesamowicie ciepła, uśmiechnięta i pomocna obsługa. Wystrój bardzo ciepły, pokoje czyste codziennie sprzątane, śniadania świeże, dostępność restauracji. Dodatkowym atutem są sauny z których można skorzystać po długim dniu na stoku.

niewygodne łóżka, mimo informacji o łóżku podwójnym zastaliśmy 2 łóżka pojedyncze, obsługa zaoferowała nałożenie maty która niestety była na tyle cienka, że nie zrobiła większej różnicy, dodatkowo rozważyłabym wymianę materacy które były już dość zużyte.

Wonderful staff. Very friendly and helpful. Great location. You can walk right across the street and jump on the free bus to the slopes. Delicious breakfast and enjoyed the piano player.
