Just a central place...

I can't believe I paid 200 euros for this kind of "accommodation"... The bathroom is simply appalling... Thank God I only spent one night here, because it was disgusting. Is it so hard to do some minor repairs, paint the walls, or update the facilities and the radiator? Even hostel rooms look better than this "hotel." There is nothing good to say about the breakfast, either... Everything here was bad. I deeply regret staying here, especially at that price. I wouldn't even pay 50 euros for accommodation like this. It was the worst place I've stayed in Switzerland. Please, don't ruin your vacation—DON'T BOOK THIS PLACE!!!!

Der Fußweg zum Hotel ist für ältere Menschen leider sehr beschwerlich.

ロケーション自体は駅から近く、またメイン通りから少し入ったところにあるので静かだった。

スタッフは可もなく不可もなく、という感じ。特にフレンドリーでもなかった。朝食の開始時間7時30分に行っても毎回少し待たされた。また、3日間の滞在中、タオル交換は無し。3日目の夕方、たまたまハウスキーパーの人に会ったので、交換してもらったが、宿泊料金が高い割にはサービス、バスルームの設備等満足のいくものではなかった。部屋にトイレッとペーパの予備が置いてなかったため、夜8時ごろレセプションに行っても誰もおらず、併設のコインランドリーを使用するのに両替に行っても同様で待たされることが多かった。ツェルマットのホテルの方が料金は安かったのに部屋の設備、スタッフがとてもよかっただけに、つい比較してしまいました。

Pleasant staff, I have a disability and I’m not sure if it was more of their staff, family or neighbors but they noticed my disability and provided easier ways to navigate the steep hill nearby. Definitely a small town that takes care of each other and it extends to guest of this property. Views from room and restaurant are fantastic.

I have no complaints about the property. Advice though, if traffic controller near the Bahnhof will not let you turn in, call the property to have traffic controller addressed.

The location was so perfect for getting to the train and the town. We were tired after hiking & it was nice to be so convenient. The bed was extremely comfortable!! The view from the room was amazing I could have sat on the balcony all day. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. We felt very welcome.

グリンデルワルドの駅の本当にすぐ隣に位置しており、坂が結構な角度ですが、バルコニーからのアイガーが目の前に迫ってくるような圧巻のビューが素晴らしかったです。朝食もシンプルですが丁寧に作られていて、アットホームの雰囲気でスタッフもフレンドリーで素朴な方々で好感が持てました。お部屋も水回りも清潔に整えてあり良い印象でした。

強いて言えば、コインランドリーの使い方が分かりにくいのと、乾燥機の設定温度が高過ぎて靴下が縮んでしまった事ぐらいでしょう。

なにより素晴らしいのはロケーション！アイガーが眺められる部屋で、バルコニーでボーッとする時間が何より贅沢な時間だった。建物自体は年季が入ってるようだったけど、お部屋はリフォーム済みでとても綺麗だった。 朝食もかなり美味しくて、スイス旅行の中でもダントツこのホテルの朝食が思い出に残っている！ 駅から近いのも便利で、またスイスに行く際は必ず立ち寄りたいホテル。

The Staff were great and the location was wonderful. Being within short walking distance to the entire town and close to the Train Depot, made access very easy. 良くない点はこれと言ってありませんが、 駅からホテルまでの道が、やや傾斜でした。そのため、腰を痛めていた母の分のスーツケースは、代わりに私が運にました。 ただ、身体に不自由のない方であれば全く問題ないです！ また、グリンデルワルドの中では、比較的傾斜が緩やかでアクセスもかなりいいホテルだと思います！

飯店距離車站2分鐘，地理位置很好，但需要推行李爬陡坡約50公尺，有市區的機能，可是沒有街聲的喧鬧，不錯！房間有陽台，正面對山峰，很美很壯觀，雖然在低樓層但是視野還是不錯，飯店前、後方的山坡晚上可以看到滿天星斗！房間也有熱水壺，完美！飯店有投幣洗衣與烘衣機，雖然各只有一台，但能在歐洲有這樣的設備已經非常的友善。

早餐選擇有點少，且需坐定後會才有人會問你是否需要各種現做蛋類或咖啡與茶。餐廳男服務人員態度良好，但女服務人員很嚴肅，有點形成對比。不知道是否是季節還是位置關係，房間會有小小蟲，但是在大自然的環境裡有覺得這點小問題不足以影響體感。

Staffs were super friendly and made us all feel special. The rooms were clean. The view were great. Dinner at the hotel was the best we had in Swizterland. The location is just around the train station. Everything was perfect.

The hotel was nice and very clean. It is in an excellent location, few minutes walk from the station and walking distances to other major sites like grindelwald first cable car. The view from our room was exceptional! In addition, I highly recommend their restaurant! The food was so good that we ate there every day of our stay except Tuesday (their dinner service is closed on Tuesdays). All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The washing machine and dryer were easy to use and the receptionist helped change our notes into coins for the machines.

This hotel has a great location ( a few minutes walk from main station but it still feels really peaceful and quiet,), great eiger views to be enjoyed while relaxing on your room balcony and very friendly helpful staff. Its outstanding feature however is its top class in-house restaurant where the menu was so good and varied that we saw no point in trying to eat anywhere else during our 1 week stay,

Localização ótima. Estacionamento para nosso carro, que era grande, foi muito tranquilo. Quarto e banheiro bons, com vista linda da sacada. A maior parte dos funcionários muito solícitos e simpáticos. Uma noite jantamos no hotel e a comida era muito boa, tipo buffet com carnes e frutos do mar grelhados e muitas saladas. Adoramos.

Uma funcionária no café da manhã poderia ter sido mais gentil, parecia estar de mau humor. Café na manha poderia ter mais frutas e essas não foram repostas em uma manhã que tomamos café mais tarde.

La situación del hotel es muy buena, cerca de la estación principal. En 2 minutos puedes coger el tren. También la situación en relación a las excursiones posibles o paseos dentro del pueblo es muy buena.

Las camas son muy fuertes, las sabanas no son cómodas, muy rugosas y no se corresponde con las que salen en la foto. En la habitación no hay aire acondicionado y en verano es muy calurosa. Tampoco hay mini bar o nevera para guardar algo frio.

Es estilo constructivo es hermoso, la habitación contaba con balcón, está muy cerca de la estación de tren, la vista es inmejorable, la limpieza muy buena, el desayuno correcto, el personal muy amable, cuenta con ascensor para los pisos superiores, proveen tarjeta de visitante para transporte publico local.

Le agregaría un frigobar a las habitaciones. Para llegar hay que subir una calle empinada, no es gran problema. La ducha es un poco pequeña, tampoco es gran problema.

Excelente ubicación, está a una cuadra en subida desde la estación de tren, está ubicado en pleno centro. Las habitaciones son muy lindas y cómodas, tienen vista a las montañas, súper limpio el lugar. El personal muy amable, el desayuno completo.

View from the room was great. Location, staff, laundry room, able to store luggage after checking out, were all great.

One of the twin mattresses was beyond its life span. Extremely uncomfortable, resulting in horrible sleep. Neighboring guests smoking on the balcony which blows smoke into our room. Breakfast was just ok, if you aren’t there by 8am, it’s all picked over with only a few items left.

The views from the balcony are stunning, the room is comfortable and the location is very handy for the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The restaurant food was expensive, but then everything seemed to be expensive in Switzerland. It was really nice food that we had when we had the Saturday night grill.

The property is beautiful and very clean. It is cozy and charming and was the perfect stay in Grindelwald!

1) The hotel is very close to the train station, as well as to shops and restaurants. A very convenient location. 2) Staff responded to our requests very quickly, provided each room with a fan. 3) A nice view of the Eiger from our room - Superior Twin Room with Balcony

The small road leading to the hotel is a bit steep. Be prepared that it would make some effort to roll a heavy luggage up the road.

Perfect location and staff was amazing, specially Mia. The team was helpful with everything that was asked and gave amazing recommendations for hikes and things to do in the area. Was a perfect hotel for my family. Parking was easy, the rooms were spacious and well maintained.

The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful in so many ways. The hotel is just a block from the train station, but there is no noise. The east facing balconies are amazing--you feel like you can reach out and touch the mountains. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would stay there again.

We stayed at the Alpina for 11 nights and enjoyed it very much. This is a small family hotel, quite intimate and warm. The location is very convenient, it is near the main street of Grindelwald but not directly on it, so it is rather quiet. Breakfast is good and dinner is usually very good. The staff at the reception (quite often the owner himself) were very helpful and friendly. Since the rooms have no air conditioning, we were offered a fan which made a difference during the heat wave in june.

Although the staff in the dining room work very hard, the service is not efficient or well organized and often we had to wait a long time to catch a waiter's eye. At breakfast, when some of the food products at the buffet were finished, we had to ask the waiters to replenish them - they did not alwais do so at their own initiative.

There was so much to like about our stay at Hotel Alpina. To start, it's right in the center of Grindelwald, only a short walk up from the Grindelwald Central train station (not Grindelwald Terminal). All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Mia and Nicholas served us wonderful meals and took time to have conversations with us. Our room was more than we could imagine, with incredible views of the mountains. Since the hotel is one block above the main street in Grindelwald, the views from our terrace were unobstructed. We had plenty of room for our carry-on-sized luggage and enjoyed the provided seating. I even took the time to use the desk to write in my travel journal. However, the most amazing part of the room is outside on the terrace with a table and chairs to look out over the incredible landscape. If you choose to dine in, you'll be treated to meals that we thought were delicious and served by friendly staff. Our breakfasts were also perfect for preparing us for a day of hiking. While we were there, we took advantage of their on-site washer and dryer. I will absolutely recommend the Hotel Alpine to family and friends.

The washer and dryer were a little confusing to operate, but the on-site staff helped me out.

מלון משפחתי נעים עם מארחים נחמדים וידידותיים. המלון שקט, למרות שנמצא על גבעה ירוקה שכמעט צמודה לתחנת האוטובוס המרכזית ותחנת הרכבת. נהנינו לשבת בגינת המלון ולהנות מצפייה בנוף של הר האייגר, או לשבת במרפסת החדר ולצפות בנוף ההרים הירוקים. ארוחת הבוקר עשירה ומגוונת. המסעדה במלון מציעה ארוחת ערב שהיתה טעימה מאד. שהינו במלון 8 לילות ונהנינו מאד. תודה למשפחת וולף.

Room was not so clean, with bugs easily entering and nesting it. Because it was summer, the room got stuffy with no AC.

I was disappointed with my stay. The breakfast was very poor and did not meet my expectations. The room was very hot, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The staff were not very welcoming, which affected the overall experience. Although the hotel is located in the city center, it is situated on a steep uphill road, making it quite difficult to reach on foot. Overall, I would not choose to stay here again.

La réservation de l'hôtel par une Booking-Compagnie me parait absolument impersonnelle. A mon avis, vous êtes inutiles. J'ai toujours eu des contacts directs avec mes hôtels et l'argument de ces sociétés ,que passer par elles représente des avantages sur le cout des locations m'interroge. Il est évident que quelqu'un doit payer vos "services". L'hôtel méritera d'autre part, mon seul reproche, d'un meilleur parking,

The location is just a short walk from the train station. We stayed in a balcony room with Mt. Eiger view. which was lovely. The Alpine breakfast was fresh and in good quality, with fresh made eggs. The breakfast room was cozy. We enjoyed our stay.

The start time for the breakfast could be a bit earlier, consider a lot of guests would like to start their day early after enjoying breakfast.

Well situated, clean and friendly staff. It's a old style family hotel with a living room with puzzles and games (so people can leave their phones in the room and enjoy some real time together)

Excellent location Beautiful traditional chalet with garden and parking, bar available and outside seating. Bedroom fabulous, had a room with a balcony overlooking the mountains, stunning anytime of day. Staff very friendly, a family run hotel, well furnished in a traditional style.
