the location is excellent. love the cafes downstairs

the towel rack in the bathroom broke down during the first night. didnt get fixed lol but since I don‘t use the towels it's not a problem for me. Would be better if the cleaner have reported it to the staff and have it fixed.

This was our fourth stay at Oaks. Friendly, helpful staff, very clean throughout and quiet. Had everything we need close by - supermarket, plenty of food options and bars to choose from. The carpark is a great size which we need with having a Ute. We recommend Oaks to everyone we can and have a group staying there again in December.

The ranch slider door in our room had a very loud squeak when closing, but the first time this has happened to us so not too worried about that.

Room was very spacious for a standard room. Clean and comfortable. Staff let us check in early which was a bonus!

Duvet covers were very thin and we did get a little cold throughout the night but not a biggie!

I have to say, the buffet breakfast was unenjoyable and not worth it for $35; I would definitely stay there again, but without breakfast.

Perfect location, easy walking distance to Commercial Bay and Queen Street. Convenient reasonably priced parking, very clean comfortable room.

(+) Location was excellent - a 10-15 minute walk away from SkyTower, there's a Woolies about 3 minutes away, the Mexico restaurant near the EY building and Daily Bread about another block from there are absolute must try's the food was so good. (+) Room was small but clean, with adequate plug points, a hair dryer and towels. (+) Rooms are equipped with an AC (that has heating elements).

(-) Room services could have been better, and the carpet feels like it needs a deep clean. (-) Would also suggest the hotel provides (upon request or purchase) things like toothbrushes, bedroom slippers, etc.

We liked we could walk down to viaduct and Queen St, and that the supermarket is across the road. Size of room good. And really good size little fridge. We could put Yoghurt and things in it.

I'm unsure what happened. Our bed wasn't made properly. The sheets not tucked in and the bed kept splitting in middle. So the gap was annoying. We stayed 3 nights no one came to service our room once. We did put the thing on our door and leave for a few hours. Was annoying for the cups and the face cloth not being replaced daily. We should if asked reception so we can also be accountable on that. The one thing that's annoying is no toilet brush in toilet. I get it for hygiene purposes and probably safer without them. But in a room of 3 nights 2 people would of appreciated a toilet brush seeing as rooms dont automatically get serviced daily. And I couldn't bring self to use drinking glasses cause they are kept in bathroom.

Always my first choice when needing to be in Auckland city - great location and I know what I’ll get for my money

The property was in a convenient location and had everything we needed for our stay. The room was comfortable and the overall property was nice.

Breakfast was ok. A bit disappointed in the coffee served. Food was fine.

No hotel parking , only extremely expensive arena and Wilson options. The "large" bed was just 2 smaller beds pushed together making for an uncomfortable ridge in the middle. Some suspicious stains on the curtains

The room was larger than we expected and very clean. The parking is located right next to the hotel and cost $45 per stay, with unlimited entry and exit privileges. The location is excellent, with Queen Street just a few minutes' walk away.

Nothing significant. The only minor issue was that the bathroom exhaust fan was a little noisy when switched on.

The central location was perfect. Very handy to the city and a short work. Close to Spark Arena for anyone who is going to a concert. Great room set up and layout. We had a 2bedroom unit and it had a small kitchenette.

Very clean and tidy . Staff more than happy to help with anything . Walking distance to shopping centre and train station . Highly recommend!!!

Location to the Spark arena and parking really convenient. Comfortable bedding, nice staff.

Breakfast is really basic, I liked the fresh fruit, the selection is missing muesli and it doesn’t include barista coffee.

Location was great for Spark Arena, CBD & all public transport. Rosie on reception was just fantastic- super friendly,welcoming and helpful

Expected basic service of the room, left card on door, but it didnt happen. Reused towels etc which was fine but did run quite low on toilet paper as were only given 1 roll and no spares.

Great value in a good location, close to where I needed to be. Extremely clean room and breakfast included.

I would have appreciated a softer pillow. The pillows were standard hotel pillows, which are generally too hard to sleep on.

Reasonable price breakfast, nothing fancy but all I needed. Spacious room., 2 single beds as requested, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion all included. 20 minute walk to train, Uber can stop outside.
