The location is very good, just next to the central market and the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they helped us getting a driver to Labuk Bay and our hotel in Sepilok. The breakfast is quite good with many options and a nice setting in front of the sea. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The hotel needs a bit of maintenance, there are many broken and stained things in the room. Cleaning is also not great. I could not shower in the evening because there was no water pressure. We also had to turn off the AC because it was leaking. The general aspect of the bedroom is a bit old and not well kept.

They up graded my room as there was a leak from the a/c unit. Very comfortable bed, nice view

Breakfast was not in the same building as the rooms, reception was not at the front of the hotel, not hard to find but not welcoming. Loud music and Karaoke from the restaurants below. Window seals missing or needing replacing to reduce the level, would also help with the cost of cooling the room

Dopo un volo intercontinentale e l’arrivo in hotel alle 7:30 avrei preferito trovare la camera pronta invece ci hanno fatto fare il check in dopo mezzogiorno, fortunatamente ci hanno tenuto i bagagli. La colazione aveva poche scelte continentali e più asiatiche. L’hotel si trova a circa 2 km a piedi dalle petronas

A hotel in the heart of Sandakan with a good breakfast in a restaurant overlooking the sea. The staff are very friendly and polite.

Struttura carina e con vista sul mare (non molto bello). Personale molto gentile e pronto ad aiutarci con qualsiasi richiesta. Peccato che il bagno non fosse funzionante: infatti lo scarico non andava e il lavandino era tappato. Sono venuti ad aggiustare il tutto (lasciando sporco) ma senza successo.

Hotel stary, fetor unosił się w środku jak i na zewnątrz, szyby jak z folii, miałam okno na tyłach lokali gastronomicznych, hałas i zapach jedzenia bardzo nieprzyjemny. Woda dosłownie kapała z kranu i prysznica, umycie włosów zajmowało poł godziny. Odradzam pobyt w tym obiekcie.

Posizione super centrale, camera nella media, colazione varia, staff molto disponibile (abbiamo lasciato le valigie 2 giorni). Palestra sul rooftop.

The exhibits in the lobby were funky. Breakfast was reasonable in variety. The sheets felt nice, but were stained of old.

The rooms were very run-down. We had 4 rooms and 2 showers did not work/ dribbled when temperature was changed.

This hotel was in a great location for our transition to the rainforest. It was basic but comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It is right opposite the small mall. It was value for money.

This is a very basic hotel but does reflect the price paid. Rooms are small but clean. Bathroom is a little worn. The waterfront location was viewed as a positive of reviews we’d read. However the waterfront if quite smelly and unpleasant so not necessarily a selling point. Sanderkan itself doesn’t have a lot to offer and is a stopping point between the airport and Borneo trips. I would’ve let recommend the location itself

We were lucky to stay in the 4th floor with ocean few, which was great. The location is one of the best in town. Restaurants, shopping mall and super market are right there. Breakfast is fantastic.

We had a blocket toilet, a black out in our room, which took time to fix and a black out in the whole hotel.

Albergo modestissimo con tutto quello che serve in posizione ottima per sostare a Sandakan. Non nuovissimo ma pulito. Ottima la colazione super fornita sia di salto che dolce

Habitación cómoda, poco ruido y se podía descansar. La ubicación era perfecta, en la zona del puerto y restaurantes.

El hotel estuvo bien en general, pero la ciudad como tal Sandakan no nos gustó, muy sucia y poco que ver o hacer.

The breakfast was really good with a view of the water. We found the rooftop where you could sit and relax. The location was good especially for tour pick-ups, and the mall is just across the street.

There was no fridge in the room to keep our water and drinks cool. Also we had a problem with our keycard, you had to swipe it numerous times to get in the room, even the staff had trouble with it.

La situació no està malament. Hi ha molts de restaurants, tendes i serveis aprop (està a primera línia de mar).Llit gran i cómode.A la TV pots conectarte a les teves plataformes.Et deixen aigua embotellada cada dia a l'habitació

Està tot un poc vell. No vàrem tenir aigua calenta els tres dies que hi vàrem ser. L'aire condicionat gotejava.Només ens van donar una targeta-clau que fa que quan surts de l'habitació no pots deixar res endollat. Bany molt petit. Al bufet del matí el cafè era molt dolent, podrien tener l'opció de fer cafè expresso. No hi ha alcohol cosa que aa altres hotels de la zona n'hi ha.

Camera un po' rumorosa, il karaoke del locale sotto non ha aiutato. Pulizia un po' da migliorare.

Hotel in centro Sandakan vicino al mare ed a diversi locali. Abbiamo trovato una buona pulizia generale, per il nostro soggiorno di una notte è una buona opzione. La colazione è varia e buona.

La struttura è datata così come le camere ma quasi tutta la città non è moto carina, c'è molta immondizia verso il mare, questo non dipende dall'hotel ma tutti assieme potrebbero migliorare questa situazione.

La ubicación está muy bien, en frente tienes el centro comercial y muchos restaurantes alrededor, el mercado local muy cerca… No nos disgustó, le falta rematar algunos detalles del baño, etc, pero en general bastante aceptable.

Nos alojamos 2 adultos y 2 niños, la habitación tenía 2que eran un poco pequeñas para los 4, pero eran cómodas.

La ubicación, justo al lado del puerto. El desayuno lo sirven en una cafetería contigua y está muy bien, es buffet. Tiene un gimnasio en la parte de arriba que está bastante bien para entrenar

La posizione. La pulizia, la colazione, la camera. Certamente non tutto rimproverare all’hotel ma voglio rendere l’idea di un posto (Sandakan) da evitare con ogni mezzo possibile. Se siete qui per muovervi verso altre mete soggiornate nei dintorni di Sepilok.

This is the second time we stayed in the Allopura, and the hotel was just as good as before. Our electricity stopped working on the second day, and within an hour they gave us a new room, which was very satisfactory.

I bagni avrebbero bisogno di una sistemata. Posizione ottima come base per andare nella giungla, ma (ovviamente non dipende dall’hotel) il centro di Sandakan non offre niente altro, la spiaggia è davvero molto sporca, consiglio di restate più a lungo dello stretto necessario

i like the staff , the enviroment , the location is near by the sea . many resturants that offers local cuisine. what i like about this hotel is the staff. very presentable , smiley and very helpful to assist we as a guest .not to mention that the hotel be really providing security guard to assist your parking.

Great location. Great breakfast, and especially brilliant dinner in the Skywalker restaurant upstairs. The staff at reception and in the restaurant couldn’t have done more for us, which was much appreciated! Rooms a little dated but totally fine and great value for money. Sea view and interconnecting rooms were a bonus!

Outside the room it was quite noisy - both from the corridor and from the outdoor restaurant area

Staff was very nice, very helpful. We requested an extra bed and got one within 5mins. We left for the Kinabatangan river and we could leave our luggage (labeled) in a storage that was locked. Breakfast was nice, buffet with lots of different Western and Asian options. I would stay here again!

It has no swimming pool, but we knew that when we booked the room. So no complains at all!

Could be a really great hotel. Rooms just need to be maintained. A bit rough around the edges. Though probably not uncommon of many of the hotels in the region.

The location was perfect. Right on the front and easy to start the heritage trial.

Breakfast wasn’t great. A fair amount of choice but very lacking in vegetables or fruit and most things are cold including the coffee.

Good central location, right by the waters. Large comfortable bed (on the hard side). Coway water filter machine at the lobby.

Noise from the streets could be clearly heard which was distracting especially if we wanted to sleep early. The toilet drain gave off a funky smell at certain times of the day.

The location was great, friendly helpful staff. Rooms very comfortable with sea view. Very good breakfast in the restaurant with food and service. Enjoyed other meals here also. Would definitely stay here again. Enjoyed the memorabilia in the hotel.

Convenient place to stay in Sandakan. Within walking distance to many eateries / mall / market.

El personal era muy amable. Uno de los recepcionistas nos ofreció el servicio de transfer para ir al RDC de Sepilok para la caminata nocturna y nos vino a buscar. Después nos llevó a un mercadillo y nos recomendó comida local (cosa que agradecimos mucho). El desayuno no estaba mal para ser Asia.

La zona por la noche, estaba llena de ratas. El pueblo no es nada visitable, pero es buen sitio para dormir si no quieres pagar el resort.

Okej frukost. Vi gillar svensk frukost och det är inte vad de erbjuder. Frukosten är mer lik en lunch buffé än en frukost buffé. Det som serverades var fräsch och vällagad.

Viss lukt från avlopp i rummen. Det får man vänja sig vid under resor i Asien men jag önskar att de skulle kunna ha fräsch likt i rummen.
