Viajamos un grupo de 10 amigos y nuestro paso por Bhu Nga Thani fue inmejorable. Llegamos agotados del trayecto y la recepción no pudo ser más cordial: nos ofrecieron unos tés de frambuesa fresquísimos y toallas para refrescarnos. El personal estuvo muy atento con nosotros en todo momento, desde el equipo de limpieza hasta el de la piscina, siempre amables y dispuestos a hacernos fotos. Pero tengo que destacar especialmente a Lynn, de recepción, que fue un encanto. De hecho, uno del grupo se hizo una pequeña herida y ella no dudó en ayudarnos a curarla. Todo esto por no hablar de las impresionantes vistas del hotel, la piscina, las habitaciones (una de ellas con Jacuzzi) y el entorno tan auténtico en el que se encuentra. Un verdadero lujo.

Del hotel nada. Del sitio diría que los monos que hay. No hay muchos, pero de vez en cuando se asoman. Pero si no les das de comer, no te hacen nada.

Estuvimos en una de las villas con piscina privada y es espectacular! Tienes y dispones de toda la privacidad por lo que es un lujo! El personal tanto de recepción como todo el equipo está para ayudarte y darte toda la información que necesitas. Sencillamente espectacular!!!😍😍😍

Понравилось расположение. От пирса East Railay до отеля буквально несколько шагов, что особенно удобно. Совсем рядом есть небольшой продуктовый магазин, где можно купить воду и всё необходимое. При этом до основных пляжей Railay и красивейших мест с пещерами можно спокойно дойти пешком. Дорога сама по себе очень живописная — вдоль огромных скал, тропической зелени и необычной природы. У отеля невероятно ухоженная территория с красивым видом на известняковые скалы. Здесь очень тихо и спокойно, соседей не слышно. Вокруг много тропической природы: мы видели обезьян, птиц с огромными жёлтыми клювами, бабочек, лягушек - ощущение, что живёшь посреди красивого тропического сада. Отдельно хочется отметить персонал — все очень приветливые, улыбчивые и доброжелательные. Нас прекрасно встретили и на протяжении всего проживания атмосфера была очень тёплой и ненавязчивой. Номер был великолепным: просторный, очень чистый, светлый, со свежим бельём, удобной мягкой кроватью и хорошими подушками. Понравилась огромная ванная, что касается душа напор воды, температура и слив работали отлично. Из номер а и практически из любой точки территории открываются красивые виды на зелень и скалы. Бассейн — чистый, ухоженный и приятный по температуре. Прям в нем есть бар, где можно заказать алкогольные и безалкогольные напитки. Большой плюс отеля — ресторан и питание. Очень красивый лаунж, приятная музыка и расслабленная атмосфера вечером. Меню большое, особенно порадовало количество вегетарианских и веганских блюд. Тайская кухня была очень вкусной. Завтраки тоже понравились: блюда немного менялись каждый день, выбор не огромный, но достаточно разнообразный. Больше всего запомнилась зона, где можно самостоятельно приготовить свежий сок из разных фруктов. Отличная идея! Сам East Railay Beach скорее используется для лодок и не является главным пляжем для купания, но это совершенно не испортило впечатление.

Единственный небольшой минус — хотелось бы немного больше внимания к зоне с лежаками возле бассейна. Иногда на них оставались песок или крошки, а после дождя лежаки не всегда переворачивали или убирали, поэтому вечером они оставались мокрыми и воспользоваться ими было невозможно. Поскольку это практически единственная открытая зона на территории, где можно просто полежать и провести время вне бассейна или ресторана, было бы здорово следить за ней немного внимательнее. Но это действительно небольшое замечание и совершенно не испортило общее впечатление от проживания.

Die Unterkunft war rundum toll! Ein sehr gepflegtes Hotel mit tollem Pool in bester Lage. Ich war bereits zum zweiten Mal in Krabi & kann die Gegend um Railey East nur empfehlen! Vom Hotel braucht man zu Fuß ca. 15 Minuten an die bekannten Strände. Dennoch liegt das Hotel in einer ruhigen Gegend, sodass man sich nach den (tagsüber oft überfüllten) Stränden entspannt an den eigenen Pool zurückziehen kann. Das Panorama ist atemberaubend schön! Die Zimmer waren äußerst gepflegt, hochwertig & sauber. Besonders für Paare zu empfehlen! Die Poolbar war stets mit freundlichen, unterhaltsamen Mitarbeitern besetzt. Hin & wieder bekam man Bauarbeiten mit, was in der Nebensaison jedoch absolut zu rechtfertigen ist - Es zeugt aus meiner Sicht nur von einem gepflegten Resort.

The pool was closed for 7 out of 8 days of pur stay. It wasn't clear when it was opening until we arrived.

Les chambres sont spacieuses, élégantes et d'un confort haut de gamme, avec une literie de grande qualité. Le personnel est remarquable : accueillant, attentionné, professionnel et toujours disponible pour rendre le séjour agréable. L'hôtel bénéficie également d'un emplacement idéal pour découvrir la région et profiter pleinement des environs. Une expérience inoubliable que je recommande sans la moindre hésitation. J'y reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

The swimming pool is under renovation (no information before arrival, major problems with water in the room, only after the second intervention we received the key to a room in another building where there was water. It should be mentioned that it concerned 4 rooms.

We were asked to wait for 45 minutes. The biggedt issue was that the swimming pool was completely closed, and the photos in the listing clearly show the pool and main facilities, so this was misleading. They didn’t give us any compensation or solution, only tell us to cancel the booking paying fees. Also the WIFI DIDIN’T WORK in the hole days that we’ve been there.

The location was good and the room was great size. Having the separate shower and bath was great.

The Wifi was horrible. It rarely worked. I had to get an e-sim card because the Wifi was so bad. The pool was shut down for renovations and I didn’t know. I blame booking.com for this because booking.com was informed. There was a message about this in the confirmation but it was hidden in the small print. We booked the room because of the pool and pool bar in the pics but the pool was completely shut down. Booking.com should block the pics of the pool or have a more obvious note that the pool is shut down. The price of food and drinks at the resort were ridiculously expensive for the quality. I probably wouldn’t book this resort again.

The surrounding area was very pretty.

Our stay was disappointing for several reasons. Despite requesting and confirming separate beds through Booking.com before arrival, we were given a room with one bed. The hotel acknowledged the mistake but only offered a so-called “upgrade” that was smaller, on a lower floor, and overlooked a wall and HVAC equipment. We were also never informed that major renovations were underway. Most notably, the pool was closed—a significant issue for an island resort—and this was not disclosed before our stay. Service was inconsistent throughout. Reception staff were rude when we requested beach towels. Housekeeping failed to clean our room one day, and after we requested service, we were left with only one towel. Despite calling reception and waiting for a replacement, it never arrived.

I had a wonderful stay at Bhu Nga Thani and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Railay. The location is excellent, offering easy access to everything while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. It was the perfect base from which to explore the area. The service throughout my stay was outstanding. Every member of staff I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. Their warmth and professionalism made a great impression from the moment I arrived. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Both the rooms and common areas were consistently spotless and very well maintained. One of the highlights of the property is the beautiful pool area. The pool itself is fantastic, and the surrounding views create a truly relaxing atmosphere, making it easy to spend hours there unwinding after a day of exploring. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with private balconies that provide a lovely place to relax. It was clear that a lot of attention has been given to guest comfort and the overall experience. Breakfast was another standout. The selection was varied, fresh, and of high quality, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. What impressed me most was the attention to detail throughout the property. From the upkeep of the facilities to the small touches that enhance the guest experience, it is clear that the team takes great pride in what they do. Overall, Bhu Nga Thani exceeded my expectations and was one of the highlights of my time in Thailand. I will be back!

It was a bit challenging to communicate with some staff members who didn't speak English.

Throughout my entire stay, housekeeping didn't visit once before late afternoon. This was inconvenient, as most days I was back in the room by this time.

It wasn’t clean enough, the shower felt like high school trip kind of vibe. We switched rooms which made it better, but still it wasn’t clean enough and the hotel is not well maintained. At breakfast the coffee was horrible and there were cats while we were eating. The location is fine, but there are certainly much better locations for such a small town.

Absolut enttäuschender Aufenthalt. Wir haben das Hotel nach nur einer Nacht wieder verlassen, obwohl bereits mehrere Nächte bezahlt waren – so schlecht war unsere Erfahrung. Die gesamte Anlage wirkte deutlich schlechter als auf den Bildern. Die Atmosphäre war unangenehm, vieles wirkte alt und ungepflegt, und insgesamt hatten wir überhaupt kein Wohlfühlgefühl. Auch die Lage und Umgebung konnten unsere Erwartungen überhaupt nicht erfüllen. Besonders enttäuschend war jedoch der Umgang mit unserer Beschwerde. Obwohl im Hotel offensichtlich viele Zimmer leer standen, wurde jede Kulanz kategorisch abgelehnt. Statt Verständnis oder Kundenservice gab es nur Standardantworten und Ausreden. Wer hier bucht, sollte wissen, dass Kundenzufriedenheit offenbar keine große Rolle spielt. Für uns definitiv keine Empfehlung und garantiert kein zweites Mal.

the hotel layout is beautiful and the overall setting in Railay is stunning. The pool villa itself is nice and offers great potential.

Unfortunately, our experience did not match the expectations of a 4-star hotel, especially considering the price we paid. The villa and facilities suffer from significant maintenance issues. The pool decking was broken and unstable, furniture was damaged, and there were visible cracks and water leakage around the pool area. Even basic things like the bathroom door and entrance lighting were not functioning properly. Cleanliness was also below standard. Sunbeds were dirty, the shared pool had insects and an unclean floor, and we even encountered a cockroach near our private pool. The dining area floor was also noticeably dirty. Service was inconsistent. Housekeeping was delayed (our room was only cleaned around 2 PM despite requesting service early in the morning), the Wi-Fi was unreliable, and overall the level of attentiveness was lower than expected compared to other hotels in Thailand.

We absolutely loved this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it! The pool area is so calm, with breathtaking views of the cliffs all around - happy hour not to be missed! The staff were all incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcomed. Interconnecting rooms worked brilliantly for our family. Similar distance to both beautiful beaches. I was initially worried that we hadn’t booked to stay closer to the beach but it worked perfectly staying 5 mins away from the buzz of walking street and was no less beautiful. Our favourite stop of 5 hotels this trip…

Clean, beautiful room. Breakfast excellent, stylish restaurant and huge choice, egg station etc. Gym excellent. Pool area beautiful but we only used early morning as busy in the afternoon. Staff really lovely.

Only issue is the water in front of the hotel is tidal and at low tide there is rubbish visible. Sadly looking at it - most rubbish is from the tourists. We need to do much better.

Уборка никакая :( За 9 дней ни разу не сменили постельное белье ни в одном из наших номеров (а мы жили сразу в трех). Толком ничего не прибирают, только кровать заправляют, полотенца меняют, мусорки выносят да мини-бар считают. Маловато лежаков у бассеина, временами вообще ни одного свободного нет :(

Had everything we needed. Air con balcony pool lovely staff. It was so beautiful. Welcomed with drinks and cold towels. The pool was great and had a bar with happy hour 2 till 5 on cocktail and cocktails. Boy the bar tender was excellent and his presentation to die for. Deffo go back to this hotel if I visit railay again.

Bhu Nga Thani Let me start by saying, we enjoyed our time Bhu Nga Thani & looking forward to staying there again on our next visit to Railay. That said, there were a few minor things we thought were a bit dissapointing which dampened the 5* experience. Definitely 5* feel & ambiance however the fittings in our 1st room needed some attention. We stayed in the deluxe room (nature view) for one night and some of the light switches did not appear to be working properly (bed side lamp would not turn off, had to unplug). Also the closet door facing the bathtub which was also facing the bed, via a glass window, would not close properly which meant the closet light kept shining in the night - had to use the beach towels to keep the door closed which kept the lights switched off. The gym was a squash and a squeeze for two people using weights. A cable machine in the corner would have been a great option when the dumbells are in use. Instead there is a very old/worn chest press equipment which is barely useable (if at all). And lastly but certainly not least, the sockets were not UK-friendly and the hotel did not have any adapters available. When I asked, I was told there were no more available for the day and I should check back after breakfast the next day. On checking back the next day I was told they were still in-use as if there were only one or two adapters available. I found this quite shocking since something so cheap which can significantly affect customer experience/frustration was not available. We have stayed at many budget hotels in Thailand last year and this year for £30-£40/night and they all had adapters available. This is also a one-time cheap cost for the hotel as guests normally have to sign out these adapters and get charged if lost. Adapters were not easily available on the peninsular either. I found this extremely frustrating given the cost of the rooms. We also stayed in one of the pool villas which we thought was good value given the experience. Thankfully the light fittings worked much better. Apart from the in-room jacuzzi being a bit discoloured, everything else was really good. The private pool was clean, a game changer for cooling down on very hot days. The staff were super friendly and, while not on the beach, we found the location of the hotel was extremely convenient, central to various spots on Railay & right next to the pier for boats arriving from Nam Mao Pier.

Lovely clean and spacious rooms. Beds were amazing- enormous and super comfortable. The huge bath was luxurious. The breakfast was plentiful and of a good standard. The pool was clean and large.

The rooms were comfortable and luxurious and the breakfast was excellent. Good variety and very tasty. The location is also fantastic, just 50m from the pier and close to Railley West access route. Customer service was also fantastic, all friendly and helpful. On the few occasions we required something like new pool towels, they arrived in minutes.

A pool and gym were the only facilities, but this didn't concern us as we were often out exploring.

We stayed in the private pool villas which was fantastic. Breakfast was great and sparkling wine was a nice touch. Location is great and grounds are well kept.

We have unfortunately at multiple Times seen cockroaches inside the room. Thus this would not justify the rating, we believe some improvements could be done to the cleanliness of the room. Most hateful thing is the desk staff, accusing us of stealing money for not paying drinks at the pool bar. So just so you are ready staff at the pool bar take ages : almost 1 hour of waiting for a drink, so we deposited the money on the bar this whole time. Now we learn that they took the 500b note but didnt linked it to our order, even if i told the barman that this bill was to pay for our drinks when he took it. They Even lied saying that they looked at CCTV caméras and no évidence showed that we pay, despire us having effectively paid. Show some respect to your client, this behaviour and harassment is one of the Worst experience I’ve encountered in Thaïland. Go somewhere else you will save some money.

Der Pool muss dringend überarbeitet werden, steht aber für Juni/ Juli 2026 an. Die Preise an der Poolbar sowie im Restaurant sind sehr hoch und das Essen schmeckt nicht besonders gut.

This resort is stunning, the grounds are immaculate and so beautiful. the staff are so kind and friendly, always greeting you and asking how you are. The beds were very comfortable, great pillows and good curtains to block out the light. The room was very spacious. The pool areas and availability of sun loungers was really good too. We would stay here again in a heart beat. The AC was also fantastic. I was surprised that the reviews were not good for the buffet breakfast, we had breakfast included for our entire stay and really loved the breakfast options, there was such a wide variety of options and fresh breads, fruits, Thai and western foods with bacon and all types of eggs available, including poached, scrambled, boiled, fried and omelettes. And the fresh juiced and fruit were amazing. It was one of the best buffet breakfasts we have had while in Railay. We loved our stay at this property and could not fault a single thing. We can’t wait to return, thank you for having us. 100/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Railay is a wonderful area of Krabi though it's surrounded by limestone cliffs and one must take a boat to get to it. From Krabi airport we took a Grab to Ao Nam Mao pier, then waited for a long tail boat to have enough passengers to go to Railay East pier (100 baht/person). It's a short 10-15 minute ride. On Railay itself, the hotel has a great location very close to Railay East floating pier which meant we did not have to haul our luggage too far from the pier. We arrived early, they served welcome drinks and gave icy cold towels which was really refreshing. They stored our luggage for us and later on they came to find us at lunch to tell us that we could check in a bit earlier. Then they gave us a room tour which was very nice. We had a late flight as well, and they again stored our luggage after check out and let us stay in the air conditioned waiting area. The room was very clean and comfortable though there is some wear and tear more visible in the bathroom. The beds as well as the daybed and balcony bed were comfortable. We could see monkeys in the area, though they were never on our balcony. There was a beach bag and towels, as well a hanging rack for wet suits. Our building was further back and a bit quieter, though we could hear some music at night. The pool is lovely, though often crowded, so it's best to go early in the day or late night.

The property is beachfront which is true, though it is mostly covered by mangroves and you cannot walk out right onto it. The beach itself is very narrow and rocky, the water on Railay east is a lot murkier for some reason. For swimming everybody goes to Railay West or Phra Nang which are easy walks of 10-15 minutes down the walking street that has lots of food, or down a path by the cliffs. (these can be seen in Google maps and there are also maps posted in the area). My friend says the service level at Bhu Nga Thani doesn’t match the number of stars it has. There should be fresh ice delivered to room for free since there are no machines close by. A 50 baht delivery fee is an embarrassment to a hospitality brand. Also, the staff could not confirm if we would get twin beds until we arrived. We had the option to select either kind or twin beds when booking, I had assumed this meant it would be available but was told I had to wait. Other things: When we were not able to sit by a fan in the restaurant, I got bitten by mosquitos at dinner and breakfast (there is some natural repellent on the table at dinner). The window in the toilet room has leaks where mosquitoes can get in. There was some sewage smell in the shower.

Staff were really friendly and helpful especially the pool bar staff..Free..Ton and Boy... although the pool and pool area are quite small it never seemed over crowded. The food and drinks were very good. Room was large with balcony although we thought the lay out of the bathroom, shower and toilet seemed a bit strange especially the window.

My husband and I really enjoyed our overnight stay at the beautiful Bhu Nga Thani Resort last month. We took a longtail from Ao Nang, costing 100THB (around £2.50) each, return, over to Railay and popped into the Sunset Bar for a smoothie before heading through Walking Street to our accommodation. Walking into the spacious, open air reception area, we were met with smiles, bows and a tray with two glasses of refreshing Roselle juice / flower tea (tastes similar to Ribena but nicer) and soft, white, cold flannels. We were invited to leave our bags in the storage room and come back to check in in a few hours. We were taken to our Deluxe Room, on the second floor, and given a quick tour of the bathroom, bedroom and balcony. We were told: Please lock your door... Monkeys know how to turn handles! Duly noted, thank you! We had a big bathroom with a bath, wardrobe, and a nice little drawer with shower caps, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a separate shower room, a separate toilet, and a massive bed with a mini fridge (complimentary drinks plus other drinks, which were inexpensive for a 4* hotel in such a sought-after place), kettle, hairdryer, beach bag and towels, TV, chaise longue and, on the balcony - if you can draw your eyes away from the views of tiled rooftops, limestone cliffs, palm trees and Andaman Sea, you'll find a lounger and coffee table. Free entertainment from the balconies in the form of macaques and dusky leaf monkeys playing! For our al fresco lunch, I had chicken satay and the Mango Coco mocktail - it's sooo good, you have to try it! We didn't have dinner here but, walking through the complex in the evening is every bit as beautiful as in the daytime. The sunset glow, the tasteful fairy lights twinkling... Oh, and the little cat with her kittens, so cute. I'm not a morning person but, on holiday, you really have to seize the moment and we would highly recommend getting up early and taking the five minute walk to Phra Nang Beach. It's hectic in the day but, in those early hours, it's stunning. The sand is white, the sky orange, pink and blue. Look out for hermit crabs (oh, and jellyfish!) and listen to the waves and the quiet hum of nearby hospitality waking up. On your walk back, keep an eye out for the huge monitors rustling about in the leaves. (Keep a respectful distance and they're no bother at all.) The included buffet breakfast is served in the bright and airy restaurant overlooking the sea, where you can watch the numerous longtails and speedboats in and out. There is pastry and cake, all the fruit you'd expect such as papaya, watermelon, pineapple, dragon fruit, etc, toast, cereals, juice and a drinks machine for tea, coffee and hot chocolate. As it was only a 24-hour stay, we didn't use the gym, lounge area or pool area but they did all look really nice. The staff were exactly what you might expect from 4* Thai hospitality; friendly, polite and welcoming. We would most definitely recommend this hotel and, should we ever stay in Railay again, we'd be looking for a room here. To the staff, khob khun mahk ka for a beautiful 24 hours in Railay.
