We booked on our way there and although there was no staff on-site, we managed to get into our apartment without any trouble. There were roadworks just outside and a lot of traffic but we didn't hear anything inside

We didn’t had good time there. However, the TV wasn’t working at all . Our kids wasn’t happy for this . Does not have good kitchen or kitchen facilities like rubbish bin , bin liner , not enough dishes for us to use . Not enough dish washing liquid. The bathroom wasn’t good either as shown in the pictures therefore there wasn’t enough toilet rolls and bath tub wasn’t clean and water flow was very low . We have paid for 7 guest but didn’t enjoyed our stay there at all . Sorry to say there a lot of things need attention in term of renovation and all . As per the price of the accommodation stay. Please update the photos of the apartment Thanks

A bit dated, but very clean. Great location, right across the road from eatery’s. Plenty of space.

Extra blankets available would have been nice, though upstairs bedroom with the heater on heated up well. Downstairs took longer.

I found no quilt in my first night there.I wanted call the manager but the guide book in the room told that after 9 pm,only fire and the other crime can give them a call,or I must pay...............

Utensils were old and not very clean.especially pots and king size bed was two split single beds which were moving all night when we move.

Our stay at this guesthouse was honestly one of the worst accommodation experiences we’ve ever had. The cleanliness was absolutely disgusting. The carpet was so dirty that we didn’t even feel comfortable taking our shoes off. There was still hair in the bathroom sink, the toilet was dirty, and I actually had to wash the bath myself before we could use it. To make matters worse, there wasn’t enough hot water for everyone, and the bathroom door kept getting stuck, which was incredibly frustrating and made using the bathroom even more unpleasant. For the price we paid, we expected a basic level of cleanliness, hygiene and functioning facilities. Unfortunately, this place fell well below any reasonable standard. It genuinely felt as though the room had barely been cleaned or checked before we arrived. Overall, everything just felt dirty, neglected and disgusting. We were extremely disappointed with our stay and would definitely not recommend this guesthouse or stay here again. Cleanliness and basic maintenance should be the bare minimum when paying for accommodation.

The place is old, dirty, and smells musty. The bathroom looks gross, and the bedroom feels spooky. The bed is terrible and super uncomfortable—if you sit on the foot of the bed, the head tilts up!. Additionally, the electric blanket does not work. It's totally disgusting and definitely not worth the money.

L'emplacement proche l'aéroport, très bien juste pour une nuit pas plus. La gentillesse du personnel pour le check out sans frais à 10h30 au lieu de 10h00.

It was clean but needed a lot of maintenance and it had a terrible smell, there were underwear in the draws and blood on one of the spare pillows.

They left keys for me as I arrived at midnight. They made sure I wasnt stranded. Its not the best hotel but for the money paid its definitely the best you can get. Spacious room, shower facility was amazing.

Place stunk of curry , shower didn’t drain , ballasted was Broken , no milk for coffee , tv didn’t work ….. not great

It had everything needed for self catering, although I was only there one night pre flight. It was warm.

It was on three floors. The bathroom was a flight of stairs. Some of the dishes were dirty from previous occupants. It is on a busy main road. WiFi was not brilliant.

Good location, have a backyard garden, convenient to have dish washer

The mattresses were too soft. Have washing machine, but no laundry powder was provided. The toilet is too small, no hanger to hang clothes during bathing and no more rack for putting our bathing stuff. The water was not hot enough when bathing at later time.

There was not sufficient towels and stuffs needed in the kitchen . The laundry powder was not enough to wash our clothes. The light was dim not enough light to have a time with family members. The carpet was not clean . There was not enough rubbish bin as we have toddler to put diapers in it. Overall not satisfied as expected with the value we put for it. SORRY Thanks

Arrived late, .not welcoming it was freezing. Took ages to figure out how to get old heat pump working to warm unit up. .Creamer (not milk or even uht). Unit was shabby - paint peeling, curtain was shredded. -Had no electric blankets and only a thin blanket on bed. Ended up using linen from spare bed to help warm up. Overall the unit was in desperate need of some maintenance/love. Cheaper backpackers would have given a better experience edp given the price charged

Great location close to Frankton! Enjoyed the outdoor areas and great it has heaters in most of the rooms and a heat-pump as it was very cold when we visited!

The bathroom was quite small and a bit dingy and dark but I’ve used worse.

Washing machine and dryer not working properly.Bath mat was not changed. One bathroom was not enough.,prefer master bedroom as well for a family.

Very close to airport, pools, where our friends were staying and the bus stop into town. It had availability after booking.com cancelled our other booking for Ramada Suites saying that our credit card was invalid. Heat pump & dishwasher great.

The tap in the kitchen was dripping but we just put a sponge under it to stop the noise. One of the electrical sockets in room 7 made a sparkling noise when my daughter tried to use it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Gateway Hotel Queenstown in the one-bedroom apartment. We were hesistant at first due to the facility reviews but in our experience, we found the apartment was absolutley big, very clean, very comfy and well equipped with Sky TV, WiFi, and heating system being such great additions that made our stay even more enjoyable. It was like home away from home. The allocated parking was a fantastic bonus, and the lovely management team’s communication was excellent — fast, responsive, with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Some roadworks during our stay briefly affected driveway access, but this was only a minor inconvenience and did not impact our amazing experience. We truly loved this place and would highly recommend Gateway Hotel Queenstown. We would happily stay again, next time bringing the whole family.

Closeness to airport

It was rather dated. Although it was clean it could do with a spruce up. It was a good size for the 6 of us.

Once we were there and the place warmed up it was fine. Good facilities a full kitchen and bathroom.

The top sheet on my bed was very low. No duvet or blanket and found 2 in wardrobe that didn't fit the bed but sufficed. The door was ajar when we arrived...a little unnerving walking in. Not being able to get through on phone prior to arrival was wierd and email was a no reply so tricky to communicate.

Handy central accomodation. Self contained. Comfortable and clean.

Cold building with not enough blankets. First time we have had to use electric mattress topper to warm up.

Road construction outside made the area a bit tricky to access. The unit was tired - stains on carpet, cupboard doors not opening properly, toilet buttons getting stuck.

The property was clean and check in was smooth even if we arrived late at night.

The hot water was not enough for 4 people. The water was cold for the 4th person. The plugs were broken, one of the plug in upstairs room had electric spark when i was trying to plug it in. The electric blanket was very old, it needs to be replaced.

The apartment is close to everything. Big shopping centres and fast foods. Easy communication with the staff.

There was an ongoing rod works along the road opposite to the property which a bit inconvenient and we were informed that there will be no access for one day during our stay. Thankfully they’ve arranged a designated parking for the guests.

Good sized apartment for family. Kitchen and laundry were great amenities. Easy parking m, located near shops and restaurants. Short drive into Queenstown. Good value for money

The stairs railings were bit loose, which I feel could be a bit of risky.

The air conditioner was clean. Water pressure was good and hot.

Beds uncomfortable and only one skinny pillow. Couch uncomfortable. Place looks very tide. Road works made access difficult and inconvenient.

Punching point is the location just a short walk from the bus interchange and ZQN Queenstown airport. All Milford tour buses can pick you up from bus interchange. Save 60-70$ rerun Uber fare. Small shops are just across the property.

Property is generally not a new build so expect aged inclusions however towel / linen was provided washed and fresh. My room appears to be freshly painted.
