Perfect position, very friendly staff, lots of free services.

Great location in Dotonburi area with less than 10 minutes walk to Namba Station. Many free culture events each day eg. kimono dressing. Free Instant noodles, Free Sake ( Japanese Spirit). Free ice , coffee and soft drink Laundry with 300 yen per time.

Right in the heart of Dotonbori, this hotel is all about location—you can walk to the famous Glico Sign, endless restaurants, and shopping streets in just a minute. The rooms are a little dated, but they’re spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The amenities are another highlight, featuring POLA toiletries that feel surprisingly luxurious. What really makes this hotel special is all the free perks: complimentary ramen, ice cream, a great selection of Japanese coffee and tea, massage chairs and even free kimono rental for guests. The staff are incredibly friendly and always happy to help. A fantastic stay for anyone who wants comfort, great value, and the best location in Osaka

Posizione ottima, un hotel diverso dal solito dove lo staff si impegna nell'offerire varie attività per coinvolgere gli ospiti (attività ludiche ed esperienze di cucina). A disposizione gratuitamente anche bibite, alcolici e gelato. L'ingresso del palazzo è molto originale.

A hotel with a decadent charm. The room was good, without great attention to detail, but clean and comfortable with a good view. The location is right in the center of Dotonbori, a few steps from the liveliest area, but still with enough distance to be able to relax. Water, coffee, tea, sake, whiskey, ice cream and noodles are free in the atrium. The staff speaks good English and were very attentive in sending our luggage to Tokyo.

The hotel seems to be located in an area surrounded by love hotels so that was not ideal. The room also seemed very dated and was very tiny. As a 5’8” person I barely fit in the bathroom. The room also was extremely humid even with the dehumidifier and had a smell of urine.

O hotel fica muito perto da estação de metrô - fica bem perto das atrações da cidade - tem 2 cadeiras de massagem gratuitas na recepção - há sorvete e bebidas gratuitas à partir das 15hs - conseguimos usar a lavadora de roupas, porém o prédio continua em reformas e há apenas 2 máquinas disponíveis ( 2 secadoras e 2 lavadoras).

Infelizmente o quarto tinha uma janela muito pequena. Os quartos no Japão já são pequenos e o fato de não ter janela deu uma sensação de quarto interno de navio. Foi desconfortável.

También el propio alojamiento ofrece muchos amenities que se agradecen como el skincare, el ramen y actividades varias

The location was great and free drinks for guests.

The room was surprisingly small and had a huge pillar in the middle, leaving no room to open a suitcase. The bathroom was also very small. The air in the room didn’t feel clean and we all woke up with sore throats. It had bad smell also.

Close to action, funny lore and fun staff. They do daily events which are a fun touch. Free ice cream? Delicious.

The bed was a little uncomfortable (though I like soft beds which isn’t as common in Japan so I understand) and it took me forever to find where the switch turn of the light was (wish I would have been told it was behind my pillow) but otherwise very nice and fun place to stay

O melhor hotel que ficamos no japao. Não era o mais luxuoso ou o mais chique, mas foi o que mais ficamos confortáveis. A equipe é extremamente gentil, e sentimos muito capricho com os clientes. Tinha cerveja à vontade, sorvete, massagem, atividades, etc. Nos sentimos em uma casa de amigos. A localização é excelente: perto dos locais turísticos, porem em um local bem tranquilo. Recomendamos!

Un livello basso rispetto agli altri hotel camper troppo piccole e bagni com stare in un treno.

Posizione eccellente, tranquilla ma a pochissimi metri dalla zona ricca di locali e ristoranti. Il personale è gentilissimo e molto attento alle esigenze degli ospiti: sono riusciti a trovarci un posto per cena con una sala riservata per 11 persone di venerdì sera!!! Durante la giornata é sempre possibile trovare acqua, bibite e bevande calde più altre cose ad orari specifici. Su alcuni piani c’è la zona lavanderia con lavatrici (400 Y) ed asciugatrici (200 Y) a pagamento .

La camera, forse la più economica, ha una colonna centrale che riduce di molto lo spazio (già di per sé non enorme). Il bagno è modello “roulotte”.

Great customer service from staff and so many freebies from hotel. Great location from Dotonboru river activities and shopping.

Size of room. A little small for a family of four with 2 kids. Bathroom is also really small for a tall person.

There were many things that I liked about the hotel! - Centrally located - very very near Dotonbori!!!! - Very very near the subway!! - Good air conditioning - With wifi - Has free drinks and ice cream for most of the day! - Has Japanese cultural activities that might interest guests - Rooms are very comfortable! - Bonus: the hotel has four interesting heads in front of it that make it easy to find on the street!

There was nothing in particular that I disliked, but some people might find the rooms a bit small. Honestly I think it's just the typical Japanese-sized hotel room so it didn't really bother me since I knew Japanese hotel rooms can be a bit small compared to other countries.

The room was a typical size for a Japanese hotel room, and the AC worked great. The hotel itself is so close to Dotonbori itself and the shopping/food in that area. It's about a 10 minute walk from the Osaka/Namba station, which makes travel throughout the city easy. The staff was kind, too. The hotel offers fun, touristy activities in the lobby (as well as snacks and drinks). It was a solid choice for us (a gay couple without kids) but would probably be a stellar spot for families. They were very helpful in getting our luggage arranged for shipping.

私の宿泊した階のエレベーターホールの そこだけ ものすごく暑かったです。部屋に続く廊下は涼しのにって思いました。改装中だったので その影響なのかなって思いました。

The staff were nice and friendly. I like the unlimited drink and all other facilities. It is also very close to train stations, dotonbori area, namba and shinsaibashi. Overall, this was a very good place to stay.

Because we are so used to larger hotels and bigger spaces, we found the rooms and toilets too small but apparently, this is normal in Japan...

It's hard to rate this hotel. Staff were amazing. Location was amazing. Drinks and ice-cream were included in the lobby.

Room was a bit strange(623). Not sure if it was just my room or if others are the same. The bathroom is like something out of a caravan and it was in the centre of the room (you'd have to see it to understand). Pillows a little uncomfortable. A/C was good, but right over the bed.

Der var mange gratis ekstraydelser, udover den gratis morgenmad. Om eftermiddagen kunne man få nudelsuppe, drinks/øl/sodavand og is gratis, ligesom man kunne prøve originalt tøj gratis. Hotellet ligger meget centralt i byen og kan varmt anbefales.

La stanza era molto piccola per tre persone.

L'hotel ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative su diversi aspetti: si trova nel vivace quartiere di Dotonbori e vicino a fermate della metro, la colazione era varia, era possibile prendere gratuitamente bevande e gelati in reception. Da segnalare però la dimensione delle stanze.. sappiamo che in generale in Giappone le stanze non sono tanto grandi, però noi eravamo in 4 in una doppia adattata a tripla con l'aggiunta di un letto, oltre ai letti non c'era spazio fisico per appoggiare le valigie, anche il bagno era molto piccolo.. Abbiamo chiesto di poter cambiare stanza, ce ne hanno fatte vedere un paio della stessa metratura ma disposte un pò diversamente, che comunque non avrebbero migliorato la situazione. Ci siamo adattati, ma in tutta onestà sarebbe stato meglio cercare una soluzione diversa oppure avremmo dovuto prendere due stanze..

Non dovrebbero dare la possibilità di prenotare una stanza per 4 persone se poi fisicamente non ci stanno..

The staff was very friendly and kind even when we made mistakes that posted us as foreigners. They were also very patient when we lost our key cards. My only complete is the size of the in room bathroom, I kept bumping into the wall during most of my visits

Considerata la dimensione ridottissima della stanza e del bagno, manca un bagno pubblico/onsen. La struttura dà accesso al bagno di un hotel affiliato ma è in un altro quartiere, perde il suo senso rilassante pre-dormita.

The staff were taking good care of all the guests, not too common nowadays. They were polite, made the free kimono experience, ice cream drinks a joyous one for guests.

The pillows can be improved, but overall it’s great. There’s washing machines and dryers, ice maker… ultra close to Dotonbori sights, close enough to Namba station and Shinsekai.

La ubicació es molt bona per anar d botigues i zona centre, tots els treballadors de recepció son molt amables, hi ha un gran lobby amb taules i sofas que va perfecte per sopar allà o picar quelcom. Teniu begudes gratis tot el dia, i free noodles al vespre. Molt bon ambient. La habitació i lavabo petits, però compensa tot lo altre. Molt recomanable.

Tot molt be, el tamany d la habitació ja que érem 3, no hi havia espai per 3 maletes, xo realment no es un motiu per no triar l'hotel ja que estas fora gairebé tot el dia, i tant la ubicació com els serveis I el personal ho compensen.

The best hotel we stayed at in Japan! During our two-week trip, we stayed at five different hotels, and Dotonbori Hotel was by far the best of them all. My family and I would gladly give this hotel a 5-star rating. The staff were wonderful, the service was excellent, and our stay was truly comfortable and memorable. Thank you very much for making our trip even more special. We highly recommend Dotonbori Hotel and would love to stay here again!

The location was great. There were a couple massage chairs in the lobby for guest use.

The hotel smelled musty and everything is old. There was a huge pole in the middle of our room (36” in diameter). The free lobby snacks are not 24 hours, there is a very limited time to go down then they close it off. The bathroom in my RV is bigger than the room bathroom (but it does have the same door lol)

The hotel is a stone's throw away from Osaka's main street food hub (Dotonbori Street). So lots of food and activity options around. Plus, the hotel serves free alcohol, ice cream and cup noodles for a few hours each day!

The hotel building is old and has a sewage plumbing issue. There was a foul smell in our room all the time which won't go away even after continuously running the AC. Also there was no exhaust inside the tiny bathroom, which made it very stuffy after a few uses.

Great seating lounge somewhere to relax after a long day. The free drinks and beer was an absolute bonus and treat.
