Watermark Beach Resort

It’s on the beach and right downtown. You don’t have to drive anywhere for any type of shopping. The gym has a good variety of equipment. I like the 24hr access. Watermark has the best beds and pillows! Which I find extremely important. I’ve been coming to Osoyoos for 27 years now, and just about everywhere I’ve stayed, my back has paid for the terrible beds. You guys made for an extremely comfortable sleep!

The vending machine is way on the south end of your on the total opposite side. I would be nice to have one closer to the north end of the building.

The room was comfortably sized, the location was beautiful by the lake, the staff was sincere and very helpful especially Anzhela at the front desk. She went above and beyond and was very attentive and professional.

We love staying at the Watermark because of its location, excellent amenities, and the consistently exceptional service provided by the staff.

My only suggestion would be to consider offering some adult-only pool time in the morning so guests can swim laps without children using the waterslide. I appreciate that the resort is family-oriented; however, as someone who chooses accommodations partly based on the ability to swim laps, I would really value having this option.

it was our anniversary. When we arrived in our room, there was a bottle of champagne for us to celebrate.!! so thoughtful. also it was our first time to travel with our dog. They had a welcome gift for him...ball, dog treats and poop bag!

Waited for supper order for 2 hours. Waitress argued that our order when in at the same time as a bunch of orders but others were served at least a half hour before we ordered. Should not have argued the point with us. Ridiculous. Got to the pool area and they closed the pool because kids barfed in it. It was floating for a while before someone came to clean it. Could not use it the first day we arrived. Steam room was so fugly, u clean, smelled so bad I could not use. Price is completely inappropriate for the quality of the resort. It is average at best. I can see that it is good for families who want to run amuck but if you are a mature couple, do not stay here. It is a kid's resort, not an adult.resort. completely wasted my money.

Beautiful resort right on the water. Before you go make sure there isn't a water use restriction. We were unable to use the tap water in our room for anything due to city wide restrictions. While we know this isn't the resorts fault, for the high nightly room rate they wouldn't even supply guests with bottled water... we were told we couldn't even brush our teeth with room tap water, we felt like we were at a mid-range place in Mexico

L'endroit est magnifique sur le bord du lac Osoyoos ! Atmosphère relaxe. Nous avions un appartement de 2 chambres à coucher, tout y était du lave-linge au lave-vaisselle, la terrasse, les verres à vin et le tire-bouchon. Accès facile, stationnement intérieur. C'est très bien situé tant pour les piétons que pour les gens arrivant en automobile. Un supermarché tout près, plusieurs restaurants et boutiques. Vignobles dans les environs. La Belle Vie ! le personnel est accueillant et veut rendre service.

Nous avons pris le petit-déjeuner au resto de l'hôtel. Beau menu mais c'est décevant, par exemple, les oeufs bénédictines au saumon fumé étaient très jolis et appétissants dans leur assiette mais malheureusement, le plat était tiède. Les gaufres n'étaient pas meilleures que celles que l'on achète congelées au supermarché près de chez moi. Les présentations et le service est agréable mais il y a place à l'émélioration pour ce qui est des plats. Nous n'avons pas pris d'autres repas à ce resto.

My husband and I discovered Watermark last year when we decided to do a little get away for Memorial Day weekend and we knew that this year we had to bring the whole family because we loved it so much and it's so kid-friendly! We love that there's a full kitchen, especially since there's a supermarket literally next door, so we have the option to cook. Our 3-year-old, as well as the adults, loved spending time in the pool- it's so spacious and a good temperature. You really can't beat the location, you have coffee, restaurant, and shopping options all within a 10 minute walk! It's also perfect because you're right on the beach so you can build sandcastles or go for a nice stroll along the water. After this year's trip we all decided that we'll be coming back every year for family vacation :) I also want to shout out how wonderful the wait staff are at 15 Park Bistro (the restaurant attached to the resort). They were so kind and understanding when we accidentally broke a glass at dinner- we were so embarrassed but they made us feel better by telling us it happens all the time and not to worry! Plus the food there is delicious- I cannot recommend the cauliflower steak enough!

Honestly we don't have any complaints. The 1700 check in time is a little inconvenient but it's nice they give access to the pool while you wait.

Suite and the pool were fantastic

Lack of appropriate bedding for the sofa bed and mattress on the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. No blackout blinds, both rooms were super bright at night.

Everything was lovely except availability of handicap parking.

There was a total of 2 handicap spaces at the opposite end of the underground parking making it very difficult when loading and unloading the car.

Tolles Zimmer mit Balkon zum Pool. Der Pool war (möglicherweise temperaturbedingt) nicht stark frequentiert, Geräusche vom Pool waren normal und störten überhaupt nicht.

Nous étions côté rue et c’était assez bruyant. Le balcon de ce côté a très peu d’intérêt car ça donne sur une route et un rond point qui ont beaucoup de passage. Mais c’est aussi normal dans le sens où le prix de ces chambres est moins élevé que côté lac.

Highly recommend the Watermark Resort. Outstanding hotel and the staff are incredibly caring and professional. The bistro is wonderful and the amenities are first class. We stay there often and look forward to our next visit.

There are no curtains (only blinds) so rooms are quite bright late into the evenings. It's only an issue if you've small babies who need to sleep in the dark

Amazing location, perfect for our family with three kids. The pool was absolutely phenomenal, kids could have spent every day all day there. Being steps from the beach was the best and our room had the most beautiful view as well.

Our bedroom AC didn’t work properly so it was a bit warm in the room. Once we notified staff they fixed it right away. It didn’t work perfectly but it was good enough!

Excellent location and the property is beautiful

I have been going to the Watermark Resort for more than 10 years and it is a highlight of the summer travel across southern BC. It is a perfect mid-trip stop a drive from Vancouver to the Kootenays. I have stayed in a variety of room sizes, on every floor and our favourites are the lake view suites. The ground floor suites offer easy access to the pool and the BBQs and the upper floors have great vies of the lake and the mountains. Over the years the prices have risen but in comparison to other properties in Osoyoos I feel it is still the best value. When you stay here you should visit the Park Bistro at least once. I have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Just don't forget to make reservations. Even though this is a great family property we have never had a problem with noise as we have encountered at other hotels in the areas.

Lovely meal at 15 Park Bistro. We were able to get a table on the patio with a fine view of the lake. Service was friendly and professional.

Liked the location, the work out room, the staff. The suite was a good size.

The bathtub needs a non-slip surface. The kitchen needs cutting boards. The screen door leading to the deck needs fixing or replacing. It makes a horrid grating noise when opening or closing. The booking agency booking.com gave the hotel an erroneous last name for the reservation. This had to be cleared up with the hotel management.

The location was steps to the beach, the room was beautiful, so comfortable and very quiet. We felt rested and would return but next time would request a water view .

A group of couples each got our own townhomes for the month of April. The living area is generous enough to entertain 6-8 easily and 10 in a pinch. The location is excellent with a grocery store and craft brewery steps away and many restaurants with in walking distance. We had a few very minor issues (mal-functioning blinds, missing bbq tongs) but within an hour of calling housekeeping, smiling staff were at the door ready to remedy the situation.

We love the location, close to lake. Facilities as well plus the 24/7 steam bath that you can use.

Parking space is really small. Its good if they offer breakfast too as i dont see it as an option when i booked our stay.

Awesome to see the hallways updated and all new beds and linens! Pillows were exceptional. Comfortable bedding is so important and they nailed the replacement!

Parkade is 31 degrees. It's so hot I was physically dizzy standing it in trying to load up our bicycles.

we had a "city view room" that was situatied across from the pub and it was noisy at late night with music from the pub.

We were staying at the Watermark resort in beautiful Osoyoos, which was a five-star experience, and decided to take a short drive to a winery. and fabulous we chose Burrowing Owl because wine tasting was listed as open. When we walked in, it was clear the staff were busy with other customers, so we browsed the store to pass the time. Eventually, when someone became available, I stepped up to the counter, but no one came to talk to us. My husband went over to speak with a clerk and asked if there was a patio to sit at. The clerk replied that there isn’t one, and there was no follow-up with any offer to help or to let us taste any wines. It felt like our presence didn’t register at all, and there was no proactive customer service or invitation to explore their wines. The resort was amazing but this winery was underwhelming.

We stay at the Watermark when ever we are in Osoyoos , at least twice a year. Always clean and secure parking . beds are comfortable.

Truthfully, they need blackout shades in the bedroom , whether its city views with street lamps or the sun rising over the lake the bedrooms get too lit up. This trip there was a atom hockey team staying at the Watermark, our room was ground level by the pool and the hockey team (apparently stayed on the 4th floor) pretty much tied up the elevator and the pool area, running down the hallways, bodychecking each other on the way to and from the pool, one loud incident with shattering glass .

Nice hotel and in excellent location. A few nights we had no AC and rooms were very hot. If you have a city view ,there is too much noise to open windows or really enjoy the deck. Noise was awful!!! Would appreciate if pets only stayed on the ground floor,I had a few incidents where big dogs were in elevators and made small children uncomfortable. And seniors too!

Location was very central. The room was roomy and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Balcony was a nice size with table and chairs with a great view. Indoor free parking.

Our room faced the pool and it was really noisy until a few of the older children finished swimming. The hottub was nice but again a few kids were allowed to practice swimming in it so it was not very relaxing for the rest of us adults. Very disappointing we did not get to use the hottub as much as we wanted too. The hotel should consider 8:30 to 10pm just for adults.

Loved the location. Great service at the front desk and our room was lovely. We had a view of the street which was good, although a little loud in the evening with the vehicles going by, but it was okay.

Well maintained

We met our daughter and grandson at the resort who was attending a hockey camp in Oliver. We had a 2 bedroom suite and we each had our own bathroom which was nice. Even though it was cool, our grandson enjoyed the pool and the others enjoyed the hot tub. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent.

This resort was extraordinary! We stayed in the three bedroom condo and it was very spacious, impeccably, clean, and had beautiful views! There were three decks in which you could take the view in from. It’s right in the city centre so the location is excellent for walk ability . There’s a very nice long path for people to walk if you want to do that type of thing. The pool was heated, which was a nice touch! We weren’t expecting the pool to be open. Osoyoos has world class wineries, which is always nice to enjoy for an outing.
