Excellent stay, staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Good room sizes and great selection of breakfast/restaurants. Excellent location of hotel, with close proximity to Yas Island resort parks and regular free shuttle buses.

The location is excellent and the service in the hotel is superb. Your every need will be catered for. Beach requires a walk and buggy via the adjacent hotel. Or a shuttle if your prefer a more noisey beach beach experience . The breakfast although the choice is small in comparison the taste is excellent and additional requests are catered for. Enjoyable stay well worth the trip , with so much to do for the children.

Had a great time at this Hotel, highly recommended if you are traveling with family and kids. My son enjoyed the pool a lot. If I choose to come back, I will definitely stay in this hotel again. Trasportation to the theme parks is always on time and complementary of the hotel stay.

Good hotel, next to noisy F1 track with a poor pool area and random policies regarding signing things to the room - they lost out on a few purchases.

The only thing was it’s late at night and there’s a loud noise on top of us. We couldn’t sleep.

I recently stayed at Yas Island Rotana during my visit to photograph car race at Yas Marina Circuit, part. The hotel’s proximity to the circuit is its standout feature—it’s within walking distance, which made it incredibly convenient for my purposes. The hotel itself is in good condition, clean, and functional, though not overly fancy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. My room was spacious, with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. That said, I was disappointed with the bathroom design. The lack of proper separation between the bathroom and the bedroom significantly impacted privacy. The window with blinds allowed light from the bathroom to flood the room, which was especially inconvenient when I needed to use the bathroom at night while my wife was sleeping. This design choice is impractical and detracts from an otherwise pleasant experience. Overall, I would recommend Yas Island Rotana for its location and practicality, particularly for events at Yas Marina Circuit. However, the bathroom setup is something to keep in mind for future stays.

The property was spotless and very nice

It was a good trip. We stayed at Rotana as we were attending an event at Etihad park and I think for an event on Yas Island, this is a great location to stay at. Very convenient and super friendly staff.

The room was pathetic, the ac gets warmer no matter how much you drop the temp, the room smelled bad, no carpet… very plain. Wouldn’t stay there again

Nice room. But no balcony while 90% of rooms have one. Took a credit card $150 deposit charge but when we ate lunch would not let me charge to the room. Had to pay by cash or credit card again. Advertise airport transport but not available as early as we have to go. And even though we paid for breakfast, not available as early as we want it.

This trip was nice. The Y bar restaurant on the ground floor service was very good, and there is an amazing brisket slider combo that was out of this world! the room is generally nice, but not too cozy. the bathrooms could do with some upgrade or focused maintenance.. but all in all i would recomment this hotel. good value.

Everyone was incredibly friendly. The restaurants were delicious and the rooms were comfortable and spacious.

Seems a little run down

This is a property that is already looking very tired. The walls are thin and the AC is poor quality, it’s very hard getting to sleep.

Staff were super friendly. Great advice from concierge team. They had good knowledge of the area. Would love to come back and stay here in the further. Went into all other hotels in the plaza and personally I think the Rotana has the best pool area.

Lovely stay. Nice hotel and good location. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. The breakfast had a huge choice. Clean, tidy and friendly staff. The pool area always had sunbeds (I stayed in February). Comfortable room with everything I needed.

Wi-Fi was poor, asked staff and not really helpful. Breakfast area was alway packed and not always available

Nice hotel well presented with an enjoyable sports bar that served good quality and large portion sizes which is always a bonus. Only stayed for a short period but is very close to the airport and F1 race track. Very safe feel to the place and the staff were very respectful.

My experience at Yes Island Rotano Hotel was a tale of two extremes. The suite on the first night was a haven of cleanliness and amenities, but the regular room on the second night painted a different picture. Alarming bedbug levels on the sheets left us perched uncomfortably on top, and the lack of amenities and a malfunctioning shower in the regular room were disappointing. The staff's attempt to upsell without thorough explanations and the manager's attempt to charge a premium for a Formula 1 weekend left a bitter taste. While breakfast was enjoyable, dinner was lackluster, and the price charged was exorbitant. The gym, though in a separate building, lacked upkeep, and the kids zone, while good, had limited gaming options, restricting any chance of multiplayer fun. The bakery items were a letdown, given their low quality compared to their hefty price tags. Even the smoothies, made from frozen fruit packages, demanded a premium that one would expect for fresh fruit. Yes Island Rotano Hotel seemed to embody inconsistency and questionable value throughout my stay.

Great Stay at Rotana. Attended a concert at Etihad Arena in June and was around a 15mins walk. The breeze was great from the sea. Service was amazing from everyone. Only negative thing is that we were quoted 30dhs (US$8) per bucket of ice in the room which I thought was unacceptable for a 4 star hotel.

Near to attractions. Needs to improve TV size in the rooms, add more water bottles in the room, and improve breakfast.

The hotel was great - the staff were amazing especially Senan and Sondos from the front desk.

4 day family getaway to visit Warner Brothers & Ferrari World. Yas Rotana has an excellent location, comfortable rooms and great service. Really enjoyed ending the evening with happy hour at the Y-Bar.

It was holidays and the hotel could service such big number of guests . Breakfast was a disaster. Housekeeping didn’t meet the expectations. Staff were very few and very aggressive.

The breakfast in the restaurant was a little bland but the black chef lady was very nice and helpful. Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will revisit.

Location is excellent, but when there is an event the location is horrible and too much noise and bad traffic. On the arrival day the receptionist “Katty” treated me very bad and unprofessional just because I asked here about the room type.

Lovely 12hours at Yas Island Rotana. I booked this hotel for a night due to an extended stopover. Will definitely return with my family. Staff were friendly and helpful!!

Excellent location, quite close to the beach, the airport, and Yas Mall. Well maintained rooms. Breakfast buffet could have more options though. As a vegetarian, the selection for me was quite limited.

Decent hotel in Rotana area of Yas Island. Room was clean and staff all nice and eager to help. Breakfast buffet at Choices was not that great in our opinion. Same menu everyday and food mediocre. Very good Indian restaurant on site though. Overall I’d give in 4 stars.

Excellent Family Hotel & Resort. Our second time at Rotana Yas Island. Highly recommend it. They are excellent hosts and look after their guests.

Overall a nice visit but no shops and places nearby so you are limited to the hotels. Small things about the hotel just aren’t quite right such as faucets that are only within four inches from the bottom of the sink, how to get your hands there? Breakfast was adequate but not wonderful.

The staff were very pleasant and the room was large. The bathroom design was poor and some shading around the pool was needed.

Good hotel, 10 mins from the airport, very clean and receptive staff. Avoid breakfast as it is mediocre at best and expensive DHS 120. Yas express bus service very good which runs every 10 mins and pick-up point is just outside the hotel. Plenty of food options at Yas Mall so don't bother at the hotel. Very close to the F1 track which can be noisy as the driving school runs all day every day. The pool is nice but due to the hotels position gets no sunlight from 2.00pm onwards.

It's a great location and the hotel is basically very good. I have stayed there more than ten times and preferred it as my hotel of choice when in Abu Dhabi. What I noticed this time is that they are cutting corners on costs and that makes it quite annoying. The hotel is still good, just not as good as it has been previously

Nice hotel in a nice area but staff at thbreakfast where to much in you face keep asking would you like drinks nearly 10 times most mornings or more even when you have a drink when you arrive at the hotel most time or leave hotel you would have to open main doors not good service I found a bit

Great staff and really good value for money. The rooms are large and comfortable. The Blue Grill restaurant is great, really really good food (and you get 30% off your bill on your first night which was a bonus).

large comfortable rooms with tea/coffee supplies replaced every day. choice of restaurants, the buffet was very good as was the food in the y bar (huge portions) staff were all friendly and helpful. free shuttle bus outside hotel to all attractions. happy hour 2-4-1 every night made the bar prices reasonable (draught guinness served which made hubby happy) very relaxing stay and i would recommend this hotel to anyone

It was a nice hotel on everything but the disadvantage was the restaurant capacity is less than the capacity of the hotel In the morning We have to stand in line waiting for our turn to get the breakfast and the restaurant staff is not 100% qualified for the job

The breakfast buffet was very good. There were a lot of options. The room was as expected but it was odd to only have 1 chair on the balcony. We took the desk chair out of the balcony which was probably not good for the chair but we did not have another option. We saw at least 4 more balconies with the desk chair outside. The hotel should consider adding another chair outside. Why would only 1 person want to sit outside on their own? Although we did not have time to use the gym on this visit it looked great with a combination of cardio and weight equipment.

Great service, good sized rooms, and rates. Only negative for us was the outdoor pool which was small and the beach being a shared public beach a 15min walk away..

This was my second stay. The location is great, and there is a lot to do in the area without even getting in a taxi. Staff is always classy and helpful. Service is amazing.

The buffets for dinner and breakfast were disappointing. No fresh juices or sparkling water. Hot drinks were extra at dinner. And the selections were very limited. The managers in the restaurant were very accommodating however, which helped to make up for the mediocre food.

really enjoyed our stay, all staff friendly and helpful. room was perfect although 2 chairs on the balcony would have been good. There was only one issue with the valet parking, somehow my car was lost and I had to wait 30 mins until it was located. This almost caused me to be late for an event. It seems the ticket stubs had been mixed up when I arrived.

Fast Check in. Upgraded to a better room since they did not have my room ready. Excellent staff. Bar and Rangoli restaurant are very good. Really enjoyed.
