This beautiful boutique property has only 54 rooms, creating an intimate and tranquil atmosphere. We stayed in a spacious corner room with stunning views overlooking the golf course. After the energy and crowds of Tokyo, it was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel provided a complimentary shuttle pickup from Odawara Station at 2:00 p.m., and upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by staff waiting to greet us. Throughout our stay, we felt truly pampered with five-star hospitality, from the attentive service to the outstanding breakfast and dinner. Every meal was delicious, and the presentation was absolutely exquisite. The hot spring is modern and clean. It is gender separated and has shower and locker.

The only drawback for me was the location. The hotel is about 45 minutes from Odawara Station and is nestled high in the mountains, with no restaurants, convenience stores, or shops within walking distance. That said, the hotel makes transportation fairly easy by providing a complimentary shuttle service every 20 minutes to and from a nearby bus stop. If you do not have a mobile phone, there is a pay phone at the bus stop that you can use to call the hotel so they can arrange a pickup for you. While the secluded setting adds to the peaceful atmosphere, it may not be ideal for those looking for easy access to dining and shopping options.

The atmosphere was very nice. The grounds are superb. The location is a 10/10. The hotel and the rooms are clean.

Everything is old and showing its age, with bathroom fixtures from the 80s. A prevalent sulfur smell that permeates everything… even the “clean” air conditioning. The hotel is worth at best 1/4 of the price per night. And the food… while not bad l, is extremely overpriced if I’m being generous. The staff is not thoughtful and cannot problem solve, we were a larger group and it felt like they did their best to make sure we didn’t bother them instead of doing their best to make us feel welcome.

-sehr unangenehmer Geruch im Zimmer (vermutlich durch Tatami-Matten) -Einrichtung vorallem im Bad sehr in die Jahre gekommen -nur ein japanisches Frühstücksmenü, keine westliche Alternative -Frühstück mit ca. 20 € zu teuer und ohne Erklärung der Speisen -sehr abgelegen, nicht ohne Auto zu verlassen und keine Wanderwege direkt ab Hotel -keine Einkaufs- oder Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten für das Abendessen in der Nähe -hauptsächlich nur für Golf- und Onsen-Gäste geeignet

Hyper traditionnel, confortable, propre, lumineux, calme… Les Osens sont magnifiques.

L’accès n’est pas évident, il faut appeler la navette lorsque l’on est à l’arrêt du bus à 5min. Pas de commerce à proximité, il faut prévoir d’amener son repas si on ne souhaite pas aller au restaurant de l’hôtel.

Tudo nos surpreendeu, desde a chegada num lugar verde, campo de golfe lindo. Colaboradores super educados, amigáveis, tal qual a cultura japonesa. Jantar maravilhoso, assim como o café da manhã típico. O Onsen, local de banho publico, impecáveis.

Acredito que tudo estava conforme eu esperava. E superou as expectativas…

L’hôtel étant isolé, il ne propose une navette que pour vous déposer à un arrêt de bus proche. Un service pour emmener directement aux sites touristiques aurait été un plus.

Nourriture peu diversifiée : 2 plats seulement proposés pour le dîner (min 12000 yens pax) obligation de notifier à la réception avant 18h la volonté de dîner et le plat choisi. Très très peu d’alternative si vous n’aviez pas prévu le dîner sur place. Le mieux est de faire des courses pour les en-cas ou repas avant d’arriver à l’hôtel à la gare. Et rien autour non plus pour sortir au cas où.

部屋のお風呂に髪の毛があり 浴槽がざらざらしていてもう少し綺麗に洗ってもらえると良かったです あと、部屋のトイレが少し古くてガタガタ言うのが気になりました

No real nice scenery, food was adequate.

Huge rooms next to each other. Absolutely loved the shuttle service to the bus stops and to Odawara station. Beds were super comfy. Really enjoyed our stay.

As a family of 5, it was way too expensive to eat with the set menu for dinner. Since the bus service into town finishes at 8pm, it made it difficult to enjoy a dinner without a forced curfew!!

Cet hôtel est un peu vieillissant, mais on s'y sent quand même bien.

Hotel precioso en un entorno natural maravilloso. Excelente gastronomía y la zona de onsen nueva y muy cómoda con todo lo necesario. Logran que puedas estar inmerso en la cultura japonesa.

Los baños de las habitaciones necesitarían ser modernizados. Con respecto al transfer no nos funcionaba el celular para poder llamar al llegar a la parada de autobús para que nos recogiera pero hay un teléfono público en la parada por lo que debe tenerse cuidado en tener monedas de 10 o 100 para poder usarlo.

If you want to experience a Japanese minimalistic style then this is an awesome place. They provide you with Yukata that boosts the experience even more!

Staff were amazing, food was amazing, location is amazing. Onsen is very nice. Because the ryokan is away from the busy areas of Hakone, you are not troubled by the bikers at 2am in the morning. I am repeating myself but the staff, particularly at meals, were amazing. There was one man in particular, from Hakodate, that could not have been more charming.

I was travelling with my wife and 7-month-old son. We had two futons and asked if we could have a third for our son as he likes to move a lot when he sleeps. We were told it would cost an additional 4800 yen a night. I understand it is extra work, laundry etc, but perhaps a little baby futon or cot for smaller travellers would be helpful.

Très belle prestation de standing, avec de belles chambres et surtout un magnifique rotemburo. La qualité de l'eau est exceptionnelle. Le repas n'est pas servi en chambre. Mais les sashimi et le shabu shabu étaient très bon. Mention spéciale au lounge avec boissons et glaces à volonté, qui offre une vue magnifique sur les montagnes et sur le golf (où l'on aperçoit des cerfs)

Excelente lugar para vivir una auténtica experiencia al estilo japonés tradicional. Lo mejor fue el “onsen”.

Al solicitar menú vegetariano con la antelación correspondiente, el personal con el que nos comunicamos se quedó desorientado y dieron vueltas hasta aceptarlo.

風呂、食事など静かで落ち着いた雰囲気。食事会場広く友人3人でゆっくりと食事。露天風呂は近くの山の景色や紅葉も見事。白濁の湯は全身をポカポカに。宿に行く途中、船盛を夕食に特別に出して欲しいと急で無理な注文したら、見事な船盛が間に合いました。板前さんに感謝。

夕食時にカメラ持っていきました。スタッフさんが写真撮りましょうか？と言ってくれると良かった。

温泉（お風呂）が広く、お湯も最高に良かった。 料理も美味しかった。

窓側扉の立て付けが悪く、風が吹くとドアが揺れ大きな音がした。 ドアがしっかり閉まらず壊れていたかも・・・

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr höflich. Der Fahrer, der uns an der Bushaltestelle abgeholt hat, ist sogar trotz Regen nach draußen gerannt, weil jemand von uns seine Tasche vergessen hat. Das Essen war super lecker! Und die Onsen sehr schön. Vor allem das Freiluftbecken war bei dem Regen ein schönes Erlebnis.

Es liegt etwas weit auf dem Berg und die Busfahrt war teuer. Haben zu spät gesehen, dass sie ein shuttle anbieten. Wäre super, wenn so eine Information über den Nachrichten-chat von booking.com laufen könnte.

スタッフの対応も素晴らしく、非常に快適に過ごせました。 食事もたいへん美味しくて、コスパが高いと感じました。配膳がもう少しスムーズだと良かったのですが、多分これは個人差によるものかと思います。 施設全体的に、そこそこ経年劣化しつつありますが清潔に維持されており、快適でした。 眺望もよく、強羅や湯元のように観光客がいないので静かに過ごせます。 フロントや客室スタッフは、倍以上の値段がする温泉旅館よりも質が高いと感じました。

残念なのはお風呂です。 ゴルフ場の利用者と共用なのは良いとして、10分おきに8名ずつホールアウトした客が、ローテーションして利用するわけですから、洗い場が足りません。 現在の浴室は宿泊者専用にして、フロント側に共用の浴室を新設すべきだと思います。 日帰り利用もあるようなので、真剣に考えて欲しいです。 泉質は本当に良いので何度も利用したいのですが、常に混んでいる状態になるので諦めざるを得ません。 風呂が改善されないなら再利用したくないと思うくらい、お風呂が残念でした。 タイミング良く一人の状態になったのですが、その際は本当に素晴らしいお風呂でした。 残念です。

周囲に他の旅館がなく ゴルフ場と背景の山や木々だけの景観が心地よい 施設は広いので　移動はやや距離があるが 空調が行き届いているのでさほど気にならない ラウンジなど施設がよく配慮され 何より　スタッフの対応がとてもリラックスできる雰囲気でした 温泉がとてもよい 浴場の設備がシンプルで 必要十分　何より清潔でした

Superbe établissement. Nous avons été conquis par l’expérience et le confort. Les bains sont chouettes et on y est presque seuls. Pratique également le transfert vers la gare d’Odawara.

The transfer shuttle situation. Turned out that our shuttle was cancelled, and we had to figure out with another bus from other hotel location to give us a ride.
