Checking in was smooth and the evening wine and cheese social was a nice plus. The lobby was a comfortable place to hang out. Coffee and tea available.

This is a dated hotel. All the furniture could use replacing/upgrading. The price paid was exorbitant, but there weren't any other options for this night. Limited parking. No pool or exercise facilities.

The price was high due to summer, but this is expected. The hotel is well kept and very cosy. The wine and cheese buffet at 7pm is a nice touch. After a busy day hiking, it hits the spot. The 2 lads on reception for check in and check were very helpful. We had another staff member assist in bag check who was great also. Highly recommend. Next time I will travel at a less busy time of year = less people / lower price.

Pleasantly surprised by how nice Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn was. Updated and comfortable rooms with a helpful front desk, happy hour in the cozy lobby, and delicious sack breakfasts for a nominal fee. Highly recommend!

Always a great place to stay. We enjoy the rooms and it's nice to have a lounge area to hang out with friends and play cards. Wine and cheese is also a nice touch!

Staff was very accommodating to our needs. Very helpful and pleasant. We loved having the bikes available to rent for free. The common area was lovely and welcoming with plenty of games to play.

Beds did not seem to be queen sized despite being advertised as queen sized. There was barely enough room for two people in one bed. Also, there could have been more items in the kitchen..plates, bowls, silverware. Had to run the dishwasher after every meal so that there would be clean utensils to use at the next meal.

Loved loved loved this hotel. We had a balcony with a view of the three sisters which we loved coming back to at the end of each day. We also had a fireplace which just added to the charm. The reception staff were lovely, especially he lady who checked us in, she was from Chile if I remember. We cannot wait to come back. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is older but they have remodeled. It was fine. The beds were comfortable and the facility was quiet. Staff was friendly and efficient.

We chose Canmore as a budget-friendly alternative to Banff and were so glad we did! Canmore is a lovely, quieter town with fantastic local restaurants, and it’s only a 20-minute drive to Banff. The Positives: The Hotel & Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The free tea, coffee, and fruit in reception were a lovely touch. The Room: While the decor won't win any style awards (it's basic and a bit tired), the room was clean, the beds were very comfy, and we had everything we needed. Amenities: We were very glad to have working air conditioning during our summer visit, even if it was on the noisy side. The Downsides: Soundproofing & Room Location: We requested a quiet room, but were placed right next to the lift at the start of the corridor. Between the high foot traffic and some inconsiderate guests, we were kept awake until 1 AM on our first night—far from ideal before our early sunrise tour the next day. Housekeeping: Rooms are only refreshed every three days, which felt a bit sparse. The Breakfast Mix-up: There is no onsite restaurant (though plenty nearby), but they do offer a breakfast-to-go. We ordered one for our first morning, but the staff accidentally booked it for the wrong day. It caused a bit of early-morning panic before our tour, but thankfully they had spares to save the day. Verdict: A decent, clean, and friendly place to lay your head if you want to escape Banff prices, just pack some earplugs!

Overall, our stay was acceptable, but there were a few areas that could be improved: * The guest rooms did not have USB charging ports, which have become a standard feature in most hotels today. * The air conditioning did not cool the room adequately. Thankfully, a standing fan was provided, which helped. * The washroom was not cleaned to the standard we expected. * The blinds on the bedroom door did not provide sufficient privacy. Even when fully closed, it was still possible to see through them. Addressing these issues would greatly improve the guest experience.

Location was perfect for us and easy for us to get around. Easy access to local food just across to road if needed. We enjoyed the evening snack in evening provided by the you.

We spent one night here on our way to Banff. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The front desk was very helpful. And the location was fine. We would stay here again.

We didnt order breakfast. The location was good. Staff was okay. Some are friendly. Some dont even smile.

The thing i dont like the most is the AC in the room. It was kind of warm. We are sweaty at night. I couldnt sleep properly.

Above and beyond what we have come to expect from hotels. It was also located close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants of Canmore.

Unser Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Direkt am Hotel stehen ausreichend Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Ein besonderes Highlight war der kostenlose Käse- und Weinempfang am Abend.

The room was clean and comfortable, and check-in was quick and easy. We loved the self-serve coffee and tea by the entrance. The next morning, the breakfast grab-and-go bag we ordered was packed with plenty of nutritious options. What surprised us the most was the live music and drinks in the lobby on our first evening—it really added to the overall stay.

Great service from the staff! Good location and the use of bicycles provided by the hotel was a nice option. Room and hotel were clean and cozy. Note that there is construction happening next door so I suggest requesting a room as far away from that as possible if you are planning to spend a lot of time in your room.

Our room was clean and spacious. We even had a small balcony. (We were on the back side of the hotel.). The young man on duty was helpful and friendly. There is complimentary coffee and tea at all times. At 7:00pm, they offered cheese and other snacks and wine to everyone in the lobby, which is roomy and peaceful. We are so glad we chose to stay here. You should try it! You’ll be glad you did!

The room location and condition was good with not much complaints. Plenty of free parking but beware of the constructions next door (June '26) I like the available space. I wish a liquid body wash was provided (not bar soap). Breakfast to-go option for additional charge was OK and good value but there was no protein option. The free coffee, tea and other drinks were great.

The Inn far exceeded our expectations. It is a beautifully warm and tastefully decorated property. Our room felt freshly refurbished and featured stunning vaulted ceilings. It was impeccably spotless, spacious, and well-appointed. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend staying here.

While the room was not a big one, it was exceptionally well-organized and immaculate, and the staff created a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. However, you can hear train and traffic noise throughout the night, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs

We loved the beds, firm but still soft like you're sleeping on a cloud. We also loved the fact that we had a little fireplace in the room, the TV had the option to stream Netflix, our patio looked out on the Three Sisters and the staff prepared a little surprise gift in our room for ou anniversary. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located a little away from Canmore town centre but that was fine as we had a car and could drive in and park the car. Other than that, no complaints!

The location was great for walking into Canmore town and travelling up to Banff. The beds were really comfortable with a very spacious room for a family of 4. Complimentary cheese an wine was a nice touch.

Ameneties were poor, ok if you just want somewhere to rest your head at night. Not possible to buy wine to relax in the lounge in the evening, however the lounge was extremly hot and uncomfortable during the complimentary cheese and wine.therefore may not be beneficial.

Absolutely loved our stay at Rocky Mountain Inn & Suites. The rooms had such a cozy country-chic cabin feel while still feeling modern, warm, and relaxing. The huge jacuzzi tub was incredible, making the entire stay feel extra luxurious. We also loved having YouTube and Netflix available in the room, and the charcuterie board and the romance package were such thoughtful touches. The complimentary wine and cheese offered in the evenings made the experience feel even more special and welcoming. And did we mention the mountain views right from our room? Absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the Rockies every morning honestly felt like heaven. Everything throughout the property was spotless, and every staff member greeted us warmly in the hallways, making the atmosphere feel genuine and inviting. Such a beautiful, relaxing experience from start to finish,we’ll definitely be back.

What’s funny is that the first time we stayed here was actually by mistake, but it turned out to be one of the best mistakes we’ve ever made. Ever since then, this place has stuck with us. Now, every time we head to the mountains, this is the place we try to stay. It’s become part of the trip for us. There’s something about knowing you’re coming back to a place where you’re comfortable and treated well that just makes the whole experience better. We've even found ourselves waiting for a room to open up instead of booking somewhere else—that’s how much we enjoy staying here. Thought we might get a free breakfast, but there is a charge now of $7.99, and that is just for dry toast and cereal, nothing fancy or hot. We did not go to breakfast there.

Got the family suite. Very spacious for a family of five. Clean, comfortable beds and loved the lobby area and sauna. Great amenities (large table in room, fridge, microwave, free coffee tea and water in lobby) for the room rate.

Nitpicky items... no free breakfast though could have sworn it was mentioned on the site. Wish the hair dryer wasn't bolted to the bathroom.

Beautiful hotels with great amenities. I booked the hotel on booking.com and added a note about my partner's birthday. The hotel went above and beyond to make his day special. We used the fireplace and attended a 'wine and cheese' event that the hotel put on. We would definitely stay here next time we are looking for a relaxing night away from home.

there is a terrible smell when you enter the room as well as the bed they really need to change the mattresses, the mattress i had was so bad that i woke up so sore and stiff due to the mattress sunk in in the middle

Steps between different levels on second floor mean you cannot take your luggage to your room on a trolley; a couple of maintenance issues hadn’t been dealt with; inevitably you get outside noise because it’s between a busy highway and a railway track - but when windows are closed it’s not bad.

Great value for money. Our room was very large and spacious. We were impressed that nothing felt cramped. Lots of room to move around the beds and two separate places to sit and do work. The bedding was clean and the duvet light. We asked for two blankets to use on top, staff brought them promptly.

The mountain view and Christmas lights are picturesque from the window of the room. Although the exterior of the hotel looks old but the room is very clean and newly renovated. The lobby is very cozy with the big pinewood beams and big wood burning fireplace where we spend hours there reading and sipping tea. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They all look very happy and welcoming.

Overall, everything was great. One thing to highlight is that since the hotel didn't include breakfast, the receptionist gave me breakfast options in the area and recommended a French place across the street, which was simply delicious.

Best decision ever to spend Christmas here! The suites we rented were really spacious and had ample room to play games. Every buck is well worth it. The atmosphere was so festive, and the lobby with the wood burning fireplace was our favourite spot to hang out. The kids enjoyed the board games available for use.
