The cafe had very basic buffet for dinner for RM55. I took a look n would not want to try...so I ordered Fish n chips and my friends ordered the signature friend rice with satay. And another separate satay order. My fish was oily and The satay was dry. The fried rice was fine . For a Mercure Hotel surely you can try harder with the restaurant .

The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful — we could see the beach right from our room. Housekeeping was also great and quick to respond to our requests. Check-in and check-out were fast, and no deposit was required. Overall, a really pleasant stay. Highly recommended and definitely will come back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026I had a really pleasant stay at Mercure Beach Resort! The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good with quite a nice variety of choices. A big thank you to the team for the complimentary birthday cake! 🎂❤️ I honestly didn’t expect much from a complimentary cake, but this one was really delicious, definitely not your usual “just okay” hotel cake. 😂 It was such a sweet gesture and made my birthday stay even more special. But what impressed me the most was definitely the service from the reception and housekeeping team. I accidentally left my gold ring in Room 503 after checking out. Thank God it was still there! I went back to the reception and they immediately contacted housekeeping, and thankfully, my ring was safely returned to me. I really, really appreciate their honesty and helpfulness. Thank you so much for taking care of my belongings. ❤️ Overall, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside during my stay was that the lobby was quite crowded because there was a wedding and a conference happening on the same date, so I couldn’t really get the full relaxing holiday vibe. 🥹 Other than that, I genuinely enjoyed my stay here. Thank you, Mercure Beach Resort, for making my birthday stay a memorable one. As I’m already looking forward to coming back, I was wondering if you could kindly offer any special rate or returning guest discount for my next stay. The way my booking was handled, due to whatever reasons Booking.com allowed me to double up on this booking so I ended up with 2 rooms same dates same costs!!! Tried to cancel one room and obtain refund, it didn't happen BUT fortunately the hotel put us in a suite which was first class service and avoided vain attempts to seek a refund for 1 room. Well done Mercure management. No comment here on other party. Will not be using them again I am reverting back TO DIY.

However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. There were quite a lot of hairs on the bedsheets, which gave the impression that the sheets had not been properly cleaned or changed before our arrival. I hope the hotel will pay more attention to housekeeping standards to ensure a better experience for future guests.

I requested a room with a connecting door during check-in, but initially encountered some difficulty and was told it could not be arranged. A few hours later, I spoke with another staff member who was very accommodating and assisted me promptly with the request. I greatly appreciated his helpful attitude and willingness to find a solution. Overall, I hope the hotel can ensure a more consistent guest experience across all staff interactions.

La chambre était nettoyée chaque jour avec soin et toutes les fournitures nécessaires étaient systématiquement renouvelées, aussi bien dans la chambre La vue et incroyable en plus la piscine trés propre Le petit déjeuner varié . L’isolation phonique est excellente, ce qui garantit un calme et un confort remarquables pour se reposer. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est tout simplement parfait. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel et j’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir

lack of service at the pool, service in general was below average it looks like a hotel that you can relax by the pool order a meal some drinks. This is not the case i had to walk to the bar from the pool order our food and beverages sometimes they where delivered and other times i had walk up to remind them multiply times. Also bar prices where over double other places we stayed in malaysia on this trip. Rooms are a little run down my power point was not fixed into the wall bathroom was small.
