Hyatt Place Sacramento Roseville

The pool and breakfast were great.

Shampoo and conditioner were out in our room. No microwave which I had planned on. Towels were out at the pool, water was out in the gym. Overall thjngs just weren’t stocked as they should have been.

Just spent two nights at this hotel. One of the nicest, cleanest and friendliest staff locations. Would highly recommend if you are in the Roseville, CA area to book your time here. Ease of check in, friendly staff, clean well appointed rooms. Conveniently located to the Westfield Roseville indoor shopping mall and lots of places to eat. There is a huge waterpark nearby. It had to be one of the warmest weekends on record. They have a small pool area that looked refreshing, but not much shade so we did not spend much time there. They offer a wonderful complimentary breakfast with eggs, sausage, biscuits, little donuts, fruit, cereal, etc. At night they offer a happy hour with discounted drinks and a bar that is available for several hours into the evening. Our room had coffee, small frig. The ice machine and a small microwave were near the elevators and very convenient. Highly recommend.

Rooms were big enough, but the carpet and the furniture machines could have been much cleaner. The blankets were really bad.

The hotel is a must stay to experience the "feel" of days past. Some of the hotel's digital experience should be updated, especially for the business traveler. The staff is great, and the experience is wonderful. I will book my next stay here without hesitation.

Breakfast buffet could use some work, more variety

Place was clean and spacious. The reason why a bad review is because when I made a reservation I asked to talk to a human and the robot tried to convince me she was a human. She insisted twice she was a human, very irritating. Then she messed up on my name and even the front desk clerk didn’t correct it. The worst was charging me for trip protection I didn’t ask for. Good thing I caught it and had it removed.

My stay at the Hyatt Sacramento/Rosevillwas very pleasant. The staff was very accommodating, and the room was very clean and spacious.

It was quite convenient to our destination. Everything was clean & everyone was pleasant.

it's run by a franchisee and poorly maintained. the bathroom was dirty and housekeeping was nonexistent. the pool was closed for mainantance.

We stayed here past weekend for 2 days and ready to check out to go back to attend our son's first recital. When tried to pull out the 2 laptops from the safe box, it showed no power at all. Wait for 30 min.(technical went out for lunch break), the power came back but our pass code not working. The technician arrived and tried the 6 digits master code but not working as well. The safe box should have a physical master key in case the electronics mal-function. But the whole hotel no one know where is it given the hotel recent ownership changed, maybe the info/key did not transfer over. Tried nearly two hours, we entered our pass code again than mystically it worked. Missed out son's first recital!. Really the worst experience we ever had. Not just Hyatt/Andaz(we're discovery member) , but all hotels we ever stayed.

I have never been to a hotel that includes breakfast that was in such a disarray. It was a real disappointment for a Hyatt Hotel.

If you are choosing to eat at the lobby, DONT! You will be waiting a total of 40+/1hr+ for a single order! I ordered a ceaser salad to go on a Monday night and waited 30 minutes to order and 30 more minutes to receive my order. INSANE! Do better. Imagine the weekend!

Used the pool, had buffet breakfast and stayed one night. Pool is outside and wasn't cold, so that was a plus. There is a bar downstairs and you can order food to be made, or order in from a few restaurants. Good selection at the buffet breakfast, but get there early because it can get busy.

Close to the mall and other shopping

Clogged toilet and no maintenance staff. Expensive for what it is. Really bad value for the money.

BED BUGS!!! I left this hotel with bed bug bites on my body. I know they were bed bugs from all of the research I did after. I showed the bites to the hotel in person at the hotel, then sent pictures to the manager and the Hyatt corporate office. Supposedly, a pest control company came in and the hotel claims that there are not bed bugs in the room. The research I did indicates that if it is a new infestation, they may not be visible. But my bites certainly are!! And since they said there were none, that means they didn’t treat the room before giving it to someone else. I also was denied a full refund. As a Speech Pathologist who attends conferences in the area, and an AAU basketball mom who frequents tournaments there, I am appalled that a the Hyatt corporation would let this happen. Just wanted to warn anyone thinking of staying there (or any Hyatt for that matter) to beware of the terrible customer service and more importantly, bed bugs!!

For a Hyatt, this old hotel should have been upgraded far better than it currently is especially in the Roseville area. Everything in this room screamed old and very much outdated. Expected so much more for a Roseville hotel but got a Stockton CA motel 6 experience.

Close to Thunder Valley Casino for which I was at a concert for

The beds were not comfortable, extremely firm mattress. The tv location for the 2 queen bed room was awkward, if you use the bed on the far side near the window tv view would be difficult.

Mustafa at the front desk is rude and very unprofessional. I have never been talked down to by someone in the hotel business, and was treated terribly, informed corporate so hopefully they take it serious. Everything else is pretty much fantastic, we loved the room and the cleanliness of the hotel and the amazing breakfast bar!!! Hot fresh coffee, and daily hot or cold breakfast. Tons of options. If they get new nice staff it would be a solid 10/10 but due to Mustafa I would give my stay 01/10 based on a horrendous customer service…

We have stayed here 3 times for 7-8 days each visit. Unfortunately, this one will be our last. The reasons are: Public areas are not clean. Examples include elevators, elevator lobby, restaurant and main lobby. At first glance, it's okay but when you sit and look around, the tables, floors and surfaces are not clean. Maintenance Items found in the room on each visit and took days to fix or not fixed. Here is a list from memory. Auto on/off light in bathroom physically broken. Would only turn on 1 out of 5 times. Toilet not working well. Very low water level and low flush. No shower Gell in squirt bottle. Room was obviously sprayed with an air freshener prior to us occupying. It was over done and not subtle. Breakfast buffet was average but seriously needs a few different dishes day to day. They do switch. it up but, I think it's out of 2 or 3 main dishes at most. Tea bags provided but frequently run out of the most common, English Breakfast Tea. The hotel gets busy with wedding accommodations as there is an active and popular wedding venue 100 yards away. Weddings are not happening midweek and weekends so, expect the hotel busy with 1 nighters and higher nightly rates than the hotel is worth. Rooms are generally getting old and beat up. Needs a refresh soon. The good - Staff seem good, nice, professional. The whole hotel needs two things to get it back in the rankings: 1) Deep clean all areas 2) A better plan and staff to maintain cleanliness in public areas. 3) Better quality control and responsive maintenance staff. Issues should be found when Q/A'ing the room not found by customers.

Nicely maintained property in good location. Everything is in good condition. Staff is personable and I appreciate that the bar is open late with food and beverage options, as well as 24/7 food and drinks in lobby. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Ample parking onsite.

Loved the experience of staying in this hotel. They have the best hot tub and clean and heated swimming pool. Breakfast was also good. Definitely recommend this for families traveling with children.

Clean rooms, updated hotel, free breakfast, free parking, This was by far the best deal for the area. Staff was great! The first half of my staff was at a different Hotel ...abot 2 blocks away. I wish I would have stayed here the entire time, it would have saved me discomfort and money!

Hyatt Place provides a wonderful atmosphere for everyone. With a friendly, attentive staff, and impeccably clearn facilities, one couldn't ask for more.

Near the mall and the front staff were very friendly.

The maid service was lacking. They did not clean our room the second day. The third day, they only left one large towel.

The rooms were rather larger, which was really nice as it gave us space to move around. The beds were a good size and so was the bathroom area.

The rooms and hallways were sprayed VERY heavily with some sort of scented spray. It was very strong and difficult to breath in. I am sensitive to smells and it was pretty unpleasant for me. I was surprised that such a strong spray was used to be honest.

Great place to stay especially so near the wedding event building and mall and restaurants.

Awesome experience. Great room with friendly staff. The room was spacious, clean, and the gym was clean and nice. Breakfast was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed in 2 neighboring room with friends after a fun birthday night out. Hotel was clean, had what we needed. And in a great location central to different things we wanted to do (shopping, restaurants, casino)

The front staff was very friendly and helpful the few times we needed them. The room was spacious and had everything we needed in it. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good quality and had a good amount of options for a free breakfast. LOTS of place to eat and shop with in walking distance. We will definitively be staying here next time we need to stay overnight in Roseville. It was a bit noisy late at night with people coming in with families. But I don't know that it's the hotels fault, it was fine.

The closet was pretty small. Good think we only stayed one night. Absolutely loved that you had a bar on premises and that it stayed open pretty late.

This is a great budget hotel. Clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was bad. Bad quality food, and not a lot of options to choose from. Booked a nicer room but it had absolutely no natural light and the window opened next to an air conditioning unit so it was noisy all night, every night.

Roseville/Sacramento - Good location, quiet and clean. Excellent staff and rooms are excellent. This has become my preferred hotel when I travel for work in Roseville, CA.

Newly updated. Good services with a bar and Starbucks. Very large rooms. Great water pressure in the shower. Maybe too much.

Beds were very hard, one was squeaky. Near a mall, but otherwise not much around.

The staff was all great! Very much a culture of hospitality! I absolutely loved the location, the staff, the lobby, dining area and grounds were very clean. Wish I could say the same about the rooms.

Biggest disappointment was the cleanliness in the rooms. I did not feel the rooms were very clean. No mattress covers that cover the entire mattress, HUGE turn off seeing the actual mattress when lifting the comforter. The pillows were very small and only had one pillow case - no protectors, blankets were not cozy at all felt old and stale. There was dust along the baseboards and edges of the carpet. The carpets were disgusting and discolored. The bathtub had hair from the previous guest in it and the bathroom situation was very odd. Sink is outside the restroom - felt dirty. Lighting was very cheap and office like too dim. The rooms need a carpet cleaning perhaps an upgrade.

Very nice room and clean. Accomodating. The staff was pleasant and helpful, very upbeat. We do hope to stay again , one day. I felt really safe.

No one at front desk in the middle of the night when we wanted to buy a beverage and snack and their 24/7 food stand.

The breakfast buffet was disappointing. Poor selection and quality. Very crowded and difficult to find a table.

Room was well appointed and roomy. Staff was excellent. Facilities were good.

No EV chargers. No staff knowledge of EV chargers in the area. 30% of cars in parking lot were EVs. Tesla has a magic dock charger a few blocks away. These work for all types of EVs. Staff should be educated on EV chargers in the area to assist travelers.

I booked too early and prepaid for a room I couldn’t cancel after 24 hrs. The price dropped dramatically . Learned my lesson and will wait to book next time.

Great room, and value. Very clean, no issues and loved the amenities. Staff was helpful and friendly no matter the time of day. Enjoyed the breakfast, and discounts by local restaurants, once they found out we were at the Hyatt. I would come again!

My stay at this location was pleasant from the very beginning when I got checked in. The room was spacious and clean. The area is surrounded by different shops and close to freeways.

The restrooms need a ventilation fan.

Stayed at the hotel while in town for a wedding. Great location and excellent hotel with good amenities. Friendly staff and good little coffee and bar in lobby.

Lobby staff went above and beyond with their hospitality. I missed breakfast and was running to a meeting and they gave me tea and a banana for free. They even found my lost iPad from my room after I checked out.

We had a small hiccup with our room at check-in, though the manager on site, John, handled everything right away with kindness and professionalism. Once settled, our stay turned out wonderful. The room felt surprisingly spacious for three people, and the King-plus-sofa layout worked perfectly for us even on a very popular Friday night when the hotel was fully booked. Breakfast in the morning was tasty and cheerful, and I loved the adorable cups they give to kids. Thanks to the team for turning things around and making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

We loved this hotel… the bar for happy hour (and late night last call) is amazing - and the bartender was soooo nice and engaging! The breakfast buffet included with the stay was really good. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a nice desk if you are on a work trip. The giant tv was great!! The whole stuff was helpful and friendly Only suggestion (to ALL hotels- not just yours)-we def do NOT need alarm clocks OR room phones anymore but we DO need more plugs and USB/C ports for our electronics (especially by the beds). At least provide power strips with USB ports built in. We will def stay again!!

The pillows in the rooms need to be changed out. With the location being in such a busy area it can take longer than expected to get to the Freeway.

Loved the rooms & the customer service! The pool was pretty disgusting though, stained & very grimy. I actually found 2 roaches running around the pool chairs/lounges.

It was a very pleasant atmosphere. Clean and quiet.

The room was clean and large and the staff was pleasant and helpful. It was conveniently across the parking lot from The Wedgewood facility where our daughter was getting married. She and her four bridesmaids, along with hair and makeup people comfortably got ready in our room. There are several restaurants within walking distance, one of which we enjoyed for the rehearsal dinner. The breakfast buffet was convenient and had a nice variety.

The hotel was very clean, Arrived late in the evening and the staff was accommodating. The hotel room was immaculate and perfect for a quick business trip. Easy access to the freeway and right next to amazing restaurants and stores. All walkable from the hotel.highly recommend! Housekeeping deserved the 5 stars!
