Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Roseville - St Paul

Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. The shower was old, rusted, and water spilled onto the bathroom floor. The tv needs to be bigger

Location and Cleanlinesss

Clean, and wonderful front desk staff

Location and price

Air conditioning did not work

Location

No one was at front desk in the evening to voice our concerns. Room was musty smelling. The elevator did not go down from our 4th floor. We had to have someone walk down a floor to send up the elevator. Such a hassle to bring our baggage down when we checked out. Sketchy people were hanging out around the property that did not appear to be staying. Did not feel safe!

I selected this hotel for its proximity to the home of a family member.

We stayed 2 nights and the room wasn't cleaned. They appeared to only clean between guests, not each night. This is not a bargain hotel, so cutting a basic service is not appropriate. The breakfast is very poor, low quality food, lots of cheap carbohydrates, mediocre apples and oranges (why not a banana, which is a more consistent fruit), basically a lack of appetizing, healthy choices. To top it all off, I don't know which was noisier, the air conditioning or the refrigerator...

The location The breakfast

The staff didnt look up from their desk when we came in, the room kind of smelled, the fire alarm jolted us out of bed

location was near where we needed to be. room comfortable.

convenience store a little beyond walking distance

Very Spacious and very clean.

Nothing really

Clean. Big rooms

No hot tub

Staff were nice and it was clean

No complaints

Breakfast was poor

The location is perfect for my stay. The staff are very informative and polite.

The Wifi was too weak and we couldn't watch our movies on my laptop.

Breakfast was good!

My room had NO refrigerator although it was supposed to. The microwave didn’t work at all!! I was staying with my 5 year old granddaughter and expected to cool then warm up her dinner. I had to go to the lobby to warm up her dinner. I have stayed at this hotel many times and have always been satisfied. This stay was far below what I expected from this hotel

Breakfast was good but would have liked to see a couple more hot items. Scrambled eggs or some breakfast potatoes as a suggestion.

No complaints. It met my expectations for the price point.

People was awesome there and I'm looking forward to go there again

Na

Clean and quiet hotel in a convenient location. We’ve stayed here a few times when visiting family. Consistently well maintained.

Location

Liked the fresh fruit, especially the clementines.

More options for those with food allergies.

We had great people. The staff, especially Karen and Stephanie was awesome. I would recommending this hotel for other people

Nothing

Location and good breakfast

No hot tub

We had a great time! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and when we asked for more pillows staff was great at helping.

The location was good for the purpose of my stay.

The bed was so uncomfortable. The temperature in the room was hard to adjust to a comfortable setting. I did not sleep well

Great quiet location

Solid property

Clean and quiet with a good breakfast. I have had poor experiences in some other Inns in the area. This one met my expectations.

It was Ok, not better than average though, choices not being very good.

We arrived Thanksgiving evening. We found the ventilation sound in our 4th floor room to be way too noisy. The front desk woman was wonderful, moving us to a 1st floor suite. It was great and we enjoyed our three night stay. I wish I’d learned her name to thank her here!

Quiet and clean

Nothing

Everything! Staff was so helpful, and the convenience of 2 restaurants so close.

We didn't have our trash emptied or more towels left from housekeeping

Young man at the front desk was very accommodating. Room was very clean, modern. Bed was very comfortable. Check out was a breeze. Great stay.

Excellent customer service. Karen and Matt were very helpful. I don't know the evening front desk person's name but she helped with my requests. We rented a meeting room for my granddaughter's first birthday. We cleaned the tables and vacuumed ourselves because kids are especially messy. I didn't want housekeeping to do that when they have more important things to do! Our rooms were exceptionally clean, as were the common areas. Thank you Jeremy and all the staff.

Great night's sleep with a 100% sleep score! Used the middle room as an office and appreciated how easily I could work with several projects spread out.

The room was spacious and clean. I liked the location.

Pleasant short stay for a nearby wedding. Staff was welcoming and helpful upon check-in and the room was clean and comfortable to stay in. Breakfast in the morning was above average for what I am used to for hotel breakfast and the coffee was good.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, a better value than I anticipated!

Very friendly staff!

Parking was a bit confusing with the restaurants and hotel all sharing one lot, but it was fine. Breakfast was ok. No eggs which was disappointing.

Staff, space, bathroom, badroom, cleanliness, quietness.

Old furniture.

Very quiet and clean. Only issue was the water pressure on the 4th floor was terrible in the shower. 2nd stay there and I will probably return. It was close to the Loons field and State capital for the marathon, both about a 10 minute drive.

Stay was exactly what I expected it to be, and the room and location served the purpose that I needed. I will stay again, and recommend to others.

Overall not bad but couple things not working

Clean, no frills hotel with a pool. It is in a quiet area, yet just minutes away from the cities.

Très bel hôtel avec 2 très bons restaurants à proximité

Clean, quiet, handy location

Nothing

I only arrived late last night.

The parking lot should have more lighting it’s dark and uncomfortable.

The check-in was wonderful! Staff is amazing! Thank you!

Convenient location and friendly staff! Karen & Mary always greet me with a warm & friendly smile. I enjoy their presence when I stay at this facility often!

Good location, very clean, one very odd thing there was only 1 small hook in the bathroom so no place to put the towels they hope you will reuse. There was also no recycling container.

Everything was clean, Front Desk folks were efficient and friendly. Only thing we did not like was noise chairs made on floor in Dining Area. They make things that you can put on chair legs to stop that. Sounded like fingernails on a blackboard. I would stay there again without that noise.

Great option for the St Paul area!

Friendly staff, clean and easy to get too!

Great service and staff Breakfast was good and varied

Easy check in, nice staff

This hotel is very clean. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Best staff hands down!!!!! Breakfast was great! The lady working breakfast was super friendly and accommodating. House keeping was also amazing. Quick to take our garage and dirty towels while replacing them. Overall stay was 9/10. Pool had too much chlorine for my kiddos.

Nice hotel. The larger area has two restaurants that were kind of unkempt.

Friendly, helpful staff, hotel near where we needed to be, decent breakfast. Fixtures are starting to look a little the worse for wear.

Comfortable room, great location, nice staff

The breakfast was awesome, check in great, employees were very friendly. My only issue is the bathroom sink, tub had orage rings in drains, corner of tub etc.

For the price I had to pay I felt ripped off. At half the price I’d feel ok about the experience. Then walls meant I heard everyone near me. The bed was a taco shaped folding in the middle. And the furniture was very dated. Not worth it at the price I had to pay

My daughter and I stayed for multiple days during the Minnesota State fair. Our room was clean. The breakfast was phenomenal and everyone was always so helpful and friendly.

Great location. Close to all major businesses. Breakfast was not up to standard with Country Inn brand requirements. Our biggest concern was that there was a grasshopper hopping on and around AC in our Guestroom. We saw it in the morning. Our daughter got so scared after realizing it was in the room with us all night. Deep cleaning is needed. Otherwise frontdesk staff was very friendly.

Out dated features, our room wasn’t ready when we arrived 30 minutes after start of check in time. Damaged furniture in the room, had to wait 15 minutes to check in as there was only one person working the desk.

Computers were not working for check in. Had to stand there 25 minutes before they got it figured out and finally checked us in. There was an area in front of the air/ heater that stayed wet. About 1 foot by 1 foot. There was no folder with hotel/ food/ area location info. I have a phone that can scan, but my elderly mother does not . You should have that available for your older guests. The curtains did not close correctly. We either had to use the black out ones or have headlights from the parking lot in our room,

Great location and value! This hotel was easy to find, it was clean and breakfast was great, too. All the employees were helpful.

We had some issues at check-in and the reserve now play at check-in did not work. Shortly after making my reservation I was charged for the room. So that was confusing at check-in. But clean property, clean room. Room darkening curtains were easy to use and temperature control was good as well. Room was spacious with divider between beds and sofa bed. Sofa bed was very squeaky. Beds were comfortable and did not hear people in hallways or rooms near us. Elevator was large and continental breakfast was good. Parking lot was well lit and clean.

Breakfast was good, room was clean and good size, beds comfortable, good location

The only issue we had was trying to call the front desk our last morning. We called from the room phone and our cell phone, and it rang and then got the message that they weren’t available.

Staff is very kind

Nice

Neat, clean, safe feeling.

Staff were very friendly hotel and room was very clean

It was a very good and clean hotel and we had so much fun i would recommend this hotel to anyone..it was my youngest birthday and she enjoyed herself..

The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

very clean, quiet and very close to the Minnesota State Fair.

Comfortable

Everything is good but wi fo connection is not that stable.

Staff was knowledgeable and friendly

Clean and attractive. Cookies every day. Nice room, pool, and breakfast area. Age is showing. Mold and mildew in showers. Some carpeting looking old. All facilities should have grab bars in showers. SAFETY!!! However, in all we do like staying here and have done so for several years.

Everything went smooth. Staff was friendly. Nice breakfast buffet. Close to our family we came to visit.

The breakfast was ok. The hotel is near the Mongolian restaurant.

no problems

The hotel was great ... I just prefer staying where therevus free breakfast
