The gentleman on duty when checking in was exceptionally kind and caring.

Well the pillows were terrible. You need to have a variety of pillows. I need a soft one and all 8 pillows were big and hard.

The staff was very accommodating. They gave a discount for the oven not working and when the TV wasnt working they were there in like 5 mins to fix it.

The oven was broken for breakfast. The toilet had trouble flushing. The ac was leaking in the floor and carpet was wet.

The oven was broken so no breakfast as mentioned in the booking, there was cold cereal and little things. My family looks forward to the hot breakfast as it is nice to go down to the little kitchen area to have breakfast as a family instead we had to go out for breakfast with our family. Which the brea is included in the cost

I called ahead of time to make sure a pet could stay at the location, I was told yes. Got to the location 20 minutes later and was denied to stay with a pet. I was told I would get a full refund and they lied. Booking tried to assist but the location truly sucks! I’ve been call for a month and have been getting nothing but the run around. Booking tried calling on my behalf and was met with the same results. I would never recommend anyone stay at this location. Totally unprofessional.

Wasn’t the room that I reserved and paid for. I had reserved an upgraded executive suite. The keycard didn’t work and had to be replaced 4 times. The room had a moldy, musty smell. The was mold in the shower and a nasty, moldy big drain in the bathroom floor. Only half a roll of toilet paper . There were only 2 towels and when I requested more(there were 3 of us girls) I was told “they were out of towels”. There was a big clump of dark hair on the floor under the sink. The window shade was broken. The room was dark and not enough bright lighting.

Breakfast was good. Descent options.

Pool hours should be from 6am-10pm. some people wake up early to do laps and opening the pool at 10 doesn’t allow for an early morning swim before starting your day.

It’s getting very run down, they came banging on the doors yelling at everyone who smoked weed outfront! Kids running the hallways for hours . Parents next to me left there door open so the kids could play . Running and screaming.

Breakfast was typical of self serve buffet breakfast. Offerings were a bit skimpy.

The room was clean but could have been cleaner. It was OK but nothing to wow me.

Location and they accommodated our late Check in. Lady at the front desk when we checked in was very nice. The bathroom had nice qualities.the faucet was cute. Food was decent. Breakfast was probably the best part of the stay.

The 1st room didn’t have the pullout sofa as we booked. The second room was very small. Carpets were dirty. The gym is a joke. HORRIBLE gym. Very small. About as small as our room. 3 cardio units if you call a bike like that one cardio. Weight scale didn’t work. With its location there needs to be more to the gym. Not a single weight or bands or anything.

The pool area was nice

Parking was HORRIBLE. I had to park in a dark sketchy parking lot as all the spaces were taken. The deadbolt on the door did not work- was told they had no available rooms but to utilize the top lock as the doors automatically lock anyways. Elevator was broken all weekend- had to wait 3-5 minutes anytime we used the elevator or take the steps from the 5th floor with 2 young kids.

I tried calling them 4 times, left 2 messages for the manager, spoke to front desk twice, spoke to reservations team and no one could help me and no one returned any of my phone calls. Very disappointing.

Seem like an unsafe area. They were homeless tent set up right outside. Parking was very minimal and cramped also

Unfortunately, the first room 310 assigned on February 21 had no heat and the young lady at the front desk came to check it out because she said she was the only one there. No housekeeping or engineer. She came and confirmed and assigned us to Room 316. Heat not much better. The next morning, no hot water for shower. Oh my God, I said that cannot be real. This made the stay extremely uncomfortable, especially given the cold weather. I reported the issue, but it was not resolved, and I was not offered an alternative solution. A lack of basic necessities such as heat and hot water is unacceptable for any guest, and it In significantly impacted my experience. I respectfully request that you review this matter and provide an appropriate resolution, whether in the form of a refund. I have also disputed the transaction with my credit card company. I do not wish any other form of compensation as my husband and I are in our 70s and he is blind. It was horrific. I have disputed my credit card charge based on your services. Never

parking is very crowded and I was towing a trailer. I did not realize until I was leaving that there was parking where I could have parked my trailer while I was there.

Easy location

My room and bed were vibrating. The room was next to the elevators, which wasnt a problem. But the elevator maintenance closet had a machine running nonstop shaking everything. The wall and room were shaking. I filmed my water on the nightstand shaking by itself and showed the front desk, they placed me in a different room which is nice but it was late at night and changing rooms is a hassle.

The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were great: most hotels have pillow that are way too fat for comfort. I wake up with an ache in my neck. Your pillows were just right! The shower was great…good water pressure and hot water.

Gee. I thought the front desk would have offered me a cookie. They were in plain sight. I guess he was saving them.

I liked the check in process which was quick and friendly. There are multiple places to eat in the area which you can walk to. The rooms are spacious with nice features.

I chose this hotel on the recommendation of the reviews, it is not the usual hotel we stay in at Fredericksburg. The room above us had children that jumped, stomped and ran around the room all night long, we reported it to management twice and their solution was to call the people in the room and then call us back and say that the children go to bed at 8pm and that they were trying to be as courteous as they could with the noise. We ended up having to move rooms - the children did not go to bed at 8pm in fact when we first reported it to management it was after 8pm. The pool ended up closing for maintenance so we never got to use it, and the smell of smoke outside the main entrance was so strong from people sitting on those benches smoking and then leaving the cigarette butts on the ground. We definitely will not stay here again.

First off, they don’t have enough parking for their guests, they told me to park in another hotel‘s parking lot. The Clarion Hotel. Our room was outdated. Paint chips were falling off the wall in the bathroom. The carpet in the hallways along with the walls and run down.

Comfortable mattress and clean room

I called ahead to inquire specifically if bathtubs came with tub stoppers which I was assured were kept behind the front desk. Thinking this was odd I brushed it off. Asked again upon check in and was told guest services would deliver one to our room. After 3 hours went back to the front desk ( phone didn't work) and was told they'd check again. We had already asked housekeeping staff who presented us with a plunger ( language barrier). Finally we were told they had checked with maintenance and were informed there were none in the entire hotel. Why lie about something so trivial? We bought our own that we will now travel with. This may seem small but I have a muscular issue that must be treated with Epsom salt soaks so it was important to me.

The gentleman that was working the desk when I arrived on September 16th was very kind and helpful.

I was attending a conference at the Fredericksburg Convention Center, on September 17th, before confirming my stay at this Holiday Inn Express (Convention Center location), I called to confirm that I was booking the correct location. The gentleman that answered the call on September 15th assured me that I was booking the correct location and that the Convention Center was directly across the street. When I arrived the evening of September 16th to my ABSOLUTE disappointment I was not at all across the street from the Convention Center at all. It was extremely stressful for me, especially after driving for 2 hours through the rain, extremely exhausted and completely clueless as to where I was, it was very important that I was near the Fredericksburg Convention Center. The gentleman (Faimia I believe was his name) that was working the evening I arrived tried to assist me as much as possible, but unfortunately there were at that point any rooms available near the Convention Center at all. So I had to stay where I was which was the Holiday Inn Express located at 560 Warrenton Road. I had to switch rooms twice due to the condition of the doors on both rooms, the doors appeared to look broken into with some type of tool. My profession is Property Management so I know what broken into doors look like, so I felt extremely unsafe. My key cards did not work on my room so I had to go back and forth to the front desk 4 times before which became extremely frustrating so after having to go back downstairs for the 4th time, I just said forget it, I will just stay in the 2nd room assigned (door broken into also). Needless to say, I got zero peaceful rest because I was fearful. The room was relatively clean but very dated. The location of the hotel is very tucked and surrounded by a gas station and a very cheap looking hotel. Parking was horrible. The main lobby gave very cheap motel vibes, not warm and welcoming AT ALL. Hallways and stairwell smelled like stale urine.
