Location is awesome and the hotel is very clean and comfortable
There seemed to be an issue with the A/C in our room
It was nice and clean.
I was charged extra $235 for smoking which is bullshit Because I don't even smoke!!!
Reception staff was very kind and professional.
Towels were thin and scratchy. TV location was odd.
Location was great, parking was convenient.
Breakfast ended early.
Location, room size, breakfast
Very High Price, compressor noise all night - Horrible!! we couldn't sleep
There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The front desk staff on the evening of July 31, 2026, made my son and I feel like we were VIPs. Horrible drive up from DC and they wiped away our anxiety in seconds. The kitchen and breakfast room staff on August 1-2, 2026, were amazing. Smiles, personable, attentive; what more can you ask for? Cleaning professionals were wonderful. Non-intrusive, yet always there if you needed something.
Staff
10/10
Nothing I didn’t like
The staff takes this from being a good property to a great property. Three female employees in the buffet area were more than attentive, friendly and welcoming. Met the housekeeper in the hall and she, also, was welcoming, friendly and kind. Specifically, my interaction with those four people will have me return.
N/A
Staff was friendly, hotel was clean and breakfast was very good.
We had 4 people in the room and were only given 2 towels, 4 guests was on the reservation so to me this is completely unacceptable. The pool was small and completely unregulated with no one enforcing the rules. There were about a dozen or so kids throwing balls slamming noodles and doing cannonballs next to my wife and small child and when staff came into the room nothing was done to enforce the posted rules. This resulted in us observing 2 families leave the pool area completely because of these out of control kids. My 6 year old who was only looking forward to some pool time left crying. The website advertised a restaurant and bar which was actually go to the front desk and order food and drinks and go to a table in the lobby or breakfast area and sit and eat. What was advertised as a restaurant and bar was a grab and go kiosk. We could’ve enjoyed those same amenities at a much lower prices point.
Great location, rooms are very comfortable, staff is helpful, and the breakfast is perfect to start the day. Highly recommend!
Great stay! Staff was great and helpful. We had a small snag that the owner himself took care of for us. Everything was clean. Pool was great.
Very clean, easy parking, spacious rooms, very quiet and within walking distance to all of the North Side attractions. Those who like to get a lot of steps in their day can easily walk to South Side, too. We did a Bethlehem beer crawl, and we were very glad to have this awesome room to return to after all of our hard work! The Historic Hotel Bethlehem is beautiful, but it's expensive and not as modern as this hotel. It's also very loud at HHB. We will stay at the Hyatt again the next time we're inclined to day drink in Bethlehem.
Location, clean, helpful staff, parking lot near by.
Liked everything
Clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly, professional, and proficient
Very clean and pleasant staff! The breakfast was really good and had a nice selection. This Hyatt has a vey nice ambiance!
The breakfast was exceptional, with quite a variety of healthy choices. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The halls were quiet and well lit, and the front desk and Pantry staff friendly.
I had NO disappointments.
Property location was very convenient to many restaurants and pubs. The room was massive and impressive for a simple double queen room.
A bottle of water was almost $4. Hot water in the shower never got hot enough for me.
Location is great, but the hotel is old and outdated. It's walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, shops in downtown Bethlehem. The workout room has two treadmills, neither of them work. No microwaves in the rooms. They have a Starbucks, but none of the staff knew how to make a Starbucks drink.
Very friendly staff and the manager was extremely nice!!!! Great location
Everything was great no dislikes
Ideally located
Great stay! Excellent walkable downtown location. The hotel was super clean and the staff were excellent. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Would stay here again.
Breakfast was fine. I miss real plates and stainless steel fork and knife
Very close to downtown, nice restaurants and caffès. Big garage parking next to it
Nothing
We recently stayed here while traveling from out-of-state for our daughter’s graduation from Lehigh University and on numerous occasions prior. Because hotel availability was limited for graduation weekend, we had reserved two rooms months in advance, one 100% prepaid through AMEX, as our oldest son and daughter-in-law were driving in separately from Pittsburgh. We arrived late in the evening only to be told by the front desk clerk that one of our reservations had been canceled. Unfortunately, she could not clearly explain which reservation had been canceled or why. I handed her my phone so AMEX could confirm the prepaid reservation directly, but instead of empathy or problem-solving, her response became defensive and focused on blaming her manager. My wife and I were certainly upset by the situation, but neither of us used vulgar language, shouted, or threatened anyone. What saddened and perplexed us most was that when my wife expressed frustration, the clerk warned she would call the police. At no point did the interaction warrant that type of escalation. The following morning I spoke with the hotel manager, who initially assured me she would review the situation and follow up after viewing the security footage. I never heard back from her. Later, I met with her manager, CJ, who was actually the first person throughout this experience who truly listened, showed empathy, and seemed genuinely concerned that there may have been a customer service failure. As business owners ourselves in a highly service-oriented industry, we shared that what we had hoped for from the beginning was simple acknowledgment and empathy. Something as basic as, “If I were in your shoes, I’d feel the same way,” or even an offer to help locate another nearby Hyatt room would have gone a long way. CJ handled the conversation professionally, offered Hyatt points as a goodwill gesture, and stated he would conduct additional service training with staff. At that point, I was honestly on the fence about whether we would stay there again. What changed my perspective completely was learning afterward how our oldest son had been treated earlier that same evening by the same clerk. When he walked into the lobby several hours before us, her first words to him were, “No public restrooms.” My son was not asking for a restroom. He was a paying guest checking into a reserved room. I understand the hotel may occasionally deal with non-guests coming in from the bus stop at the public parking area across the street. Still, it was deeply disappointing to hear that someone was apparently judged so quickly based on appearance. Our son is a hardworking blue-collar professional who dresses casually in jeans and a T-shirt. He was also recently diagnosed with early Parkinson’s disease, which can cause stiffness and slight tremors. Rather than being greeted as a guest, he was immediately treated with suspicion. That part of the experience saddened us more than the reservation issue itself. Everyone can make mistakes operationally. Reservations problems happen. What matters most is how guests are treated when things go wrong. Unfortunately, empathy and basic hospitality were missing at several critical moments during this stay.
Clean nicely appointed rooms. Sink outside of the shower and toilet area. Nice sitting room. Walking distance to food drink and shopping. Complimentary breakfast was good.
Paid parking across the street. Secure but should be free for guests.
Location, staff
More towels in room
Expensive
Overall a much better experience than we expected. Great location to walk to a variety of places. We liked the breakfast and the coffee was pretty darn good! The room was spotless. The employees were both helpful and friendly.
The whole experience!
Fee for parking.
Close to the downtown
Paying $12/ day for parking. An extravagant amount!
Kevin at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful with letting us know where to eat and when we returned asked how our experience was. The lobby was very inviting and clean. Breakfast was very good and the kitchen staff was outgoing to make sure you were accommodated.
5-star! Excellent proximity to the airport, 8 min. Ride share was $13. Very clean, quiet and modern hotel. Will definitely stay again!
Staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. No housekeeping service in either of the 2 rooms booked for the entirety of the stay. Paid extra for 3 adults in each room, but only received towels for 2 (i.e. only 2 bath towels). Rooms are a little dingy with staining on the couch, but didn't feel unclean.
The room was great. Spacious, clean and comfortable.
The breakfast could have been better. Disposable plates, cups and utensils. Not many choices for food, and very few choices that were healthy. The gym had ants.
Location and ease of parking.
Warm welcome, clean and neat property. Easy parking. Nothing was too much trouble. WiFi efficient. Hyatt perks such as free water, snacks, late check out promptly offered.
Decent 2 night stay. Breakfast good with a variety of choices. Room and bathroom spotless. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Quiet end room on the top floor. Only complaint is the shower. Water pressure could be slightly better, temperature was warm at most, and the shower is a bit small. If the glass wall was moved another few inches out, it would be fine.
Nice and clean hotel. Large rooms which I appreciate. Showers are a little dated and so are the doors, but overall very good experience. I've stayed her twice visiting my daughter and had a very consistent stay both times. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
Great location that was easily accessible. The hotel was nice and the staff were kind. The room was more spacious than expected, and the breakfast bar was loaded with options. Highly recommend!
We were able to check in early. All the staff were very friendly.
No microwave in the room
Breakfast
Parking cost
Breakfast offered several options. Which was great. Front desk and food service staff were very helpful and hospitable. Hotel was centrally located in downtown Bethlehem. We were able to walk everywhere.
Room, breakfast
Location
Very nice people working at the hotel. Room was clean but lacking hand soap.
There were no toiletries in the room. The heating / cooling system was difficult to adjust.
Staff was friendly room was clean. Shower strong bed comfortable
Room not made daily Room had a stale oder
Kevin at the front desk was spectacular from check in through check out. The room was absolutely perfect. Was attending a concert at the Wind Creek Event center so the location was perfect. I will definitely book with you again
Nothing
The room was a great size, very spacious. The lobby was inviting and looked nice. Staff was friendly.
The pool was supposed to be heated which was a big influence on my decision to book there. It wasn’t heated, the room didn’t even have heat, plus the pool is SO tiny, looks nothing like the pictures. The beds were stiff and small. They boast being queen size, but were more like full size. No microwave in the room, you have to go to lobby to use one, which is very inconvenient. Breakfast is 6:30-9, it ends so early! Another thing is you have to pay for parking and have to park in a parking garage that shares an entrance with a public bus stop. I had to walk with my 4 yr old through a crowd of people to get to my car and was car called by some men who were hanging at the bus stop there’s no choice to park anywhere else and you’re forced to pay, it should be free with staying in the hotel.
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Hotel and had such a great experience from start to finish. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were extremely welcoming and professional, which made me feel comfortable right away. The room was very clean, spacious, and well maintained. I really appreciated how comfortable the bed was — it made it easy to relax after a long day. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was quiet and peaceful, which is exactly what I needed during my stay. I also loved how convenient the location was, with everything I needed just steps away to main street Bethlehem. Restaurants and so much more . The amenities were great, and the common areas were always kept clean and inviting. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Hyatt to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free place to stay. I would absolutely stay here again in the future!
The parking was a bit confusing but once I figured it out it was fine
Good location, parking garage no fee for parking, breakfast,
There were a few time the water in the shower was hot
For the third time in the last two years we had an excellent experience staying at Hyatt Place Bethlehem. Friendly responsive staff and a good quality free breakfast stood out.
Incredibly clean, comfortable and safe!! Incredible spread / options for breakfast. Staff was very friendly.
The person at the check-in desk was visibly ill — flushed, coughing, sweating, really should have been home resting. I’m a bit of a germophobe, so I was very uncomfortable with touching anything he was touching! We were going to come down for a drink at the bar after we checked in, until we realize that he was also working the bar and again, I was concerned with him being contagious so we decided to go elsewhere.
My girlfriend and I love the Hyatt, but this property fell a little short. Tucked away from the noise yet right next to the heart of Bethlehem and the city's Main Street, the location couldn't be better. Right across the street is a garage where hotel guests park for free with validation. The lobby is wonderful with seating, front desk, breakfast dining area, and an on-site eatery and bar. (The breakfast looked amazing but we can't get up that early.) Pamela and Krishna were exceptional front desk staff that made our stay enjoyable. Our room was large and clean with a great heating and cooling system. There was a problem with the bathroom: The inside door handle was broken. The shower was too small with a strange half-door that even if angled properly, still sent water to the floor. The water remained warm and never got hot. The fitness center isn't much and we passed on the pool and it's milky water. It really looked sickly. Sleeping was great but the major problems occurred on the morning of our departure. Check-out is at noon yet, even with our "do not disturb" sign out, a housekeeper knocked on the door at 10:30 AM while we were sleeping. I think she wanted to make sure we were up to check out on time because she didn't knock on anyone else's door. At checkout, there was no way for me to pick up my girlfriend because six vehicles blocked the small entrance/exit to the property. Even though there's a parking sign for 15 minutes, one SUV remained there for over a half-hour. We will give this property another shot because Hyatt's are usually a step above.
Great location. Nice room.
One of the staff “lost” my reservation and could not find it in the system. It was very nerve wracking as check in was Christmas Eve. I will forgive them that their room service was also not working during our stay.
The location.
Staff poor pillows sofa so low to ground I could barely get out. Poor continental breakfast..
Breakfast was very good! Room was clean and the staff was friendly & helpful. WIll definitely stay here again
Well located and clean
I never understand why a hotel rents you a second floor room overlooking a creepy parking lot, when the place is 80% empty. Wouldn't you want to show your best? Oh, and the pool was freezing, breakfast was fine
The breakfast was wonderful. All of the food was freshly made and delicious. They also varied what food they made each day.
The one thing that myself and others in my family commented on was how small the trash bins were in the room. They were smaller than any hotel I had ever stayed at.
staff was great!
Room was great for 5 people. Very clean. Breakfast in the morning had a lot of options and everything was good.
I don't think there was anything not to like. Some free bottles or water would have been great.
Location to downtown. Nice bed. Nice staff.
Ac blew drectly into the bed all night. Bathroom lacked ventilation and lighting was poor.
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff at the breakfast was wonderful. They offer a late check out and the cleaning staff was patient with our choosing this option.
They did NOT honor the booking.com price. Also charged us different prices for the two identical rooms. The room was too warm and the thermostat didn't control it. Also the shower doesn't really have a door; it has a small folding panel that allowed water to get all over the bathroom floor.
Cleanliness
Housekeeping knocked on the door before checkout time with a do not disturb sign out.
Breakfast was very good, and staff there was wonderful.
Heated indoor pool was not warm enough to use. Very disappointing as the pool was main reason for choosing this hotel.
Rooms were great. Good breakfast. The cost of parking was too much and it was a surprise. Extra added costs plus parking added a lot extra to the overall cost. Other than that, it was good.
0pps, already typed the answer sorry.
