We had a wonderful stay at Golden Palm Tree Sepang. The resort is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing, with delicious food and plenty of fun activities to enjoy. What stood out most was the strong and professional management and the genuine hospitality we received throughout our stay. A very special thank you to Balqis at Reception, Mr. Chris, the Front Office Manager, and Aina, the Duty Manager, for their professionalism, attentiveness, and excellent care. At Bila-Bila Restaurant, a huge thank you to Jamal, Asim, sarla and Naeem for their wonderful service and hospitality. We also really appreciated the lovely service of Sesula at Lobby Café. Special thanks to Izwan from Medical Care for being helpful and caring when assistance was needed, and to Rizwan and Tengku from Sepoi-Sepoi for their excellent service and for making our experience even more enjoyable. The beautiful surroundings, relaxing atmosphere, delicious food, activities, and especially the wonderful people working here made our stay memorable. Breakfast was good and the room was good too, although you can tell that some of the decor and furnishings are starting to show their age. That said, for the money we paid, I really can’t complain. More importantly, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. The whole experience gave us a chance to switch off, relax and spend some proper quality time together as a family. The staff were lovely, the pool was great, we had fantastic weather, and overall we came away with some really good family memories. That’s ultimately why, despite the niggles I’ve mentioned, I’d still give the resort a strong 8/10 and would happily recommend it. If you come prepared and can creatively work around some of the smaller issues, particularly the limited food options outside the resort, it can be a really enjoyable and relaxing family stay.

Although the breakfast selection is fairly typical for a hotel, the on site restaurant "western food" was disappointing. When we first turned up for dinner, the staff effectively turned us away and told us we needed to book a table in advance, despite the restaurant being practically empty at the time. We therefore booked for the following evening, but unfortunately the food was poor. What made it worse was the price, we paid what you might expect to pay at a high end restaurant in central Kuala Lumpur, but the quality of the food was nowhere near that standard. If you’re travelling with children, there is NOTHING outside the resort. I mean literally not a single convenient shop or restaurant nearby. We even tried to order Subway food using Grab for them to cancel as they were 1 hour away and no driver wanted to commit to driving this distance for the little to nothing they were paying. So once you are there, you are very much reliant on the resort for food and drinks. If you are travelling with kids, I would strongly recommend stocking up beforehand and bringing plenty of snacks, drinks and anything else they may need during your stay.

I'm very dissapointed with your buggy driver ( white shirt at picture) cause my son leg injured during reverse and hit another buggy parking during check out today 6/9/26. My room no 922.He sit at back and his leg stuck between 2 buggy and I need immediate explanation from your management . Previously other driver drive to speeding and not safe at all.

The Indian girl, front desk staff at the hotel the other was quite unfriendly and avoided eye contact. There was an unwelcoming vibe, and the way she answered my questions was rather dismissive. ​When we returned from dinner, we were told the buggy driver was unavailable, and the security guard asked us to walk back to our room. I refused because our room was quite far, so we need to wait until another buggy ride became available.

The ambiance. An all in resort which is not too far from home and the busy city and yet, the environment and vibe there gives you a feel as though you've been transported somewhere peaceful.

The entertainment display board. There are many free activities for guests but there appears to be a miscommunication in management. Eg Bingo night was supposed to be at location A but then it took place at B. The origami for kids were supposed to be at xx am but when we got to the Kids Club, the schedule was meant to be for some other activity. It is a small issue which if management can iron this out, it would be a 10/10 service. Nevertheless would definitely return to this place.

Een perfect verblijf voor 2-3 nachten om echt even tot rust te komen. Met z’n vijven in een pracht huisje met uitzicht over het water! Eten was heerlijk en veel keus. Zwembad was ook heel lekker.

Niks, we hadden geluk met een zonnige dag en lekkere zonnebedjes, ik weet niet of je bij drukte er genoeg hebt.

Einge Buggy Fahrer haben beim Fahren am Handy gespielt. Ich wurde fast angefahren, weil der Typ nicht aufpasste. Abendessen sollte im Preis drin sein. Es ist zu abgelegen für Alternativen und dafür zu teuer. Es ist bereits heruntergewirtschaftet. Allergie Angaben gab es bei Speisen keine.

Overall it was a very good experience. The staff are friendly & the location even though remote but very beautiful. You can witness sunset also sunrise as well. Each chalet consist of balcony for you to sit and relax. Buggy services is 24 hour and you can call them to your unit if you in need of any assistance. Overall the price is quite worth it.

First and foremost, mosquito and flies are very common here. Your chalet basically will have 2-4 flies going in to your room to pay you visit every now and then. As well if you are walking to the beach or anywhere, pls do bring a mosquito repellent so that you won't get bitten. The worst experience I have here will definitely be the restaurant in the resort. When you check into a resort most of us will just stay and relax in the resort and not going out to look for food in the town. The price I know will be expensive but at the least was hoping for the food will be served in a more efficient manner. I have tried 2 restaurant there. Each food serving takes like 20-30min to serve just one meal. As for pizza it takes around 45-55min. In my opinion, that is too long.

Efficient service at check in and check out. The buggy service was excellent. Good spread for breakfast and the staff were very helpful.

The location itself is fantastic, especially during sunset. Staying over the water was a unique experience, and one of the highlights was being able to see lots of jellyfish directly from our room. The nightly fire show was very entertaining and became something we looked forward to every evening. Breakfast was decent/OK, and most of the staff at the restaurants and buggy service areas were polite, well-spoken, and many were Urdu-speaking, which gave a familiar and welcoming feeling.

The buggy service was highly impractical, especially during peak times. While checking out, we had to wait almost 45 minutes just to get a buggy. It felt like once the resort occupancy increased even slightly, the overall service quality deteriorated exponentially. Housekeeping and room maintenance were unfortunately very poor. Upon check-in, the room had a musty smell, there were lizard droppings on the walls, and even on the bed and bathtub. The wardrobes were also dusty and dirty to the extent that we had to wipe and clean them ourselves before using them. When we raised the issue, housekeeping only came and sprayed freshener, without properly addressing the cleanliness concerns. We also requested curtain replacement/cleaning because they were extremely dusty, but despite acknowledgement from staff, nothing was done throughout our 3-day stay. Another frustrating issue was the inconsistency in staff information. Trunk-2 rooms apparently do not have direct drinking water filter systems and instead rely on housekeeping providing bottled water. However, when we requested water bottles, staff repeatedly redirected us to use a filtered water setup in the room — which simply did not exist in Trunk-2.

Friendly staff, buggy drivers and van driver to car park. Clean room and comfort environment. Good place for relax and regain energy for a new start.

Pay attention to breakfast serving - refill finished items and don't collect the spoon, fork and knife set from the table before the customers finish their breakfast.

While there were some issues during my stay, I would like to thank Mr. Adam, the manager in charge, for his outstanding service. He was patient, professional, and always willing to listen and help. His efforts made a significant difference to my experience. Mr. Adam is exactly the kind of manager every hotel should have. I hope his dedication and hard work are recognized by the management. More attention to cleanliness and room maintenance would further enhance the guest experience, particularly in addressing humidity and dampness issues.

Golden Palm Tree resort is a beautiful place although the location is a little isolated. The chalets are very clean and comfortable. There is a buggy service provided as the chalets are quite spread out. The workers are very helpful and friendly. A special mention to Kay at the buffet breakfast station who was really welcoming. The breakfast is very good, with lots of selections. Overall we had a great time at the resort.

The buggy call service from the rooms outwards is very slow. You have to wait at least 20mins. One evening there was a terrible stench coming from the sea as we were walking back to our chalets. There isn’t really much to do there. Could do with more activities.

It relaxing & private. Even though the units are far into the seas, buggy facilities are very efficient & frequent. Staff were accommodating with our special request.

It’s a little bit old & some refurbishment should be done. We took the 2 Bedroom family unit. An extra bed was not permitted even thought the unit was spacious. The paid facilities are on the high side.

1. Dirty toilet. Got flakes fr ceiling fall down on the toilet and shower area. 2. Dusty feeling in the room ( maybe due to long time no one stay in the room)

Amazing service, the staff were very welcoming and the food was very delicious. The chef and team went above and beyond to provide us with vegetarian options. They were also extremely kind when helping us to coordinate my mum's birthday. We will definitely be coming again.

Very spacious, nice finish

Toothbrush was not provided. The telephone has no line. I was forced to take the buggy to the reception and was told to wait in the room. After an hour of waiting, we have to remind the reception to send over the toothbrush.
